You could grow up and give a counter argument.
Coins with features people wouldn't bother using and cause wallet bloat are much more important then adoption.

I just thought it was a very funny image of people "looking at the code". The other assumptions above are all wrong; I am not mad at anyone and everyone can stay in, the more the merrier. The thing I mentioned before was that Guldencoin should decide the course for Guldencoin itself. And that it should not stray away from its primary focus on the Dutch market. That is my opinion. And on top of that I do not like people insulting others and accusing others of fud whenever they please. Who are we to judge.
In fact I have purchased multiple products with NLG, am an early adopter of NLG, have informed ny2cafuse early on how you can unleash enormous hashing power which I directed through his criptoe network, was one of the first merchants to accept NLG as a payment option through LitePaid, gave away over 40000 NLG through the guldencoinpuzzel promotion, promoted NLG through facebook, linkedin and twitter, and I hope NLG will become a serious payment option in The Netherlands (and abroad in a second stage).
So I am not bumming anyone. I am a big NLG supporter. In my view the success of NLG depends on the adoption of the coin by the Dutch population. The sooner the better, because the momentum is fading. That worries me.

I vouch for that as I won 15k from the puzzels! Another thank you from my side. You're a respected community member Digi. Don't worry about the fud to much!

Well spoken Digi. I agree with you on adoption, but that is being worked on by the different projects of LTEX and Buerra as it seems. Your efforts for NLG are appreciated much. Momentum goes in waves, I think a big one will come in soon. Fuse, shake hands. All united again.

Okay well a good lesson of comunication would be great. The post where you ask what is good about the simulator is not really a positive post about something that will benefit crypto in general. And Guldencoin. Im not doubting your support but what do you rather want? A rushed bugging simulator or a fine polished working program that takes some time to create and finetune and have a good look at what inplemetation is best to protect the blockchain? About the momentum. Its just warming up. And every cryptocurrency is still in developing/adoption fase. What are we talking about? The most "early" coins are just 1 year old. Everything is new! We could easily see nlg in the 2500 satoshi range within 2 months, markets is looking very goof atm. so i apologize if i did understand you wrong but you could formulate your post a litle better.

I'll take a step back then. I really did take your gulden forum post as a swipe at me and my team. I'm sure if you go back and look at the conversation here and then your post there, you could see where I would think your post was directed in that way. If I was wrong in that, then I apologize. I would guess that the post was directed at me though, as our history of communication here has always been touchy at best. Additionally, you've always seemed to take NLG out of the hands of anyone foreign, and my team holds a lot of it. That aside, if you're worried about the momentum fading, don't come here and knock the development of the simulator. It's a solid solution to algorithm testing, even if it's in it's early stages. People were excited about it during development, and still are... let them have that. If you want the momentum to continue, embrace the wins instead of knocking them. -Fuse

Bitcoin is the biggest Crypto atm, yet since 2009 there are only a few 100.000 people actually using it. If you extrapolate this to NLG, the adoption has been huge, and the development also, just take some time, crypto is way ahead in technology, so adoption will be slower then say a Apple iphone

Thank you all for your replies. I will take more care in formulating texts in this thread, never meant to offend anyone. I have high hopes for NLG to become an alternative for the € as I detest the Euro together with the monopoly currently held by the banking world. The value of NLG going up or down and making money by trading NLG is not my primary concern. I would love to see millions of people actually use the Guldencoin in daily life. It would be marvelous if the NLG userbase grows exponentially coming weeks, cheers to that.

I know of many other coin devs who developed and improved their coins in a big way. In that same time, for NLG the "simulator" was(is?) the key focus of NLG development. So a vote for the NLG dev means to say this simulator is more impressive than all other development and improvements done by other devs for other coins. Could anyone enlighten me if the simulator has proven its worth so far, and if, and how it is being used at this time?
I don't think your questions are negative, they are a logical result of the 'haleluja' atmosphere around the simulator development. Speaking for myself, I honestly don't care if the simulator is good for crypto in general. As long as the simulator can be used by new scam coins to choose their favorite algorithm and multipools like clevermining to optimize their mining techniques the simulator might be a tool that can also be used against crypto. The simulator itself maybe is a great thing to develop and use, I see it as a necessary part of the new Guldencoin algorithm update and not as a stand alone development that will make the crypto world better. A good thing that you asked these questions..
