You guys are crazy given the market cap. It's at $0.04 now. In 6 months to 12 months, I'd say $0.50-$1. In 2 years, $3-$5. We have 3x as many BTC in our market cap, so our jump should not be so crazy.
With all the pumps and dumps BC has a steady upward projection. All you have to do is match BlackCoin's growth with other similar AltCoins growth and you can reasonably predict where the coin will be in 6 months. In about a 4 to 7 weeks it will be at $1.00, and in 6 months we will be around $5, you can hold me to that. There is always the chance it can explode over night, that has happened to other coins before. But based on the current growth we will be at $1.00 soon. It will be at $1.00 even quicker if people would stop selling BlackCoin at reduced prices as if they are selling MintCoin  $5 in 6 months? That would mean marketcap is $400 million. That's the LTC market cap. Not impossible, but as much as I love this Blackcoin, I don't see that happening. That would mean faster growth then even BTC and I think that time is gone. But I thought pumps and dumps are good thing. Doesn't that mean huge % change and won't that attract new investors who want to get into throwing money in this altcoin? Sure it's not good for currency usage, but there's not really many other PoS alternatives right now. |

any prediction on price within the next 6-12 months?
1 USD edit: if all goes well 6 months 10$ in 12 months 200$ I am as optimistic as the next guy, but do you really think BlackCoin will reach $10 in 6 months and in 12 months reach $200? Besides 42 Coin and Bitcoin, no other coin has come close to $200 per coin. I think $10.00 in 12 months is more realistic, unless you know something I do not know? I'm optimistic too, but anyone can pull out numbers... How about: 8,75$ in 6 months 122,44$ in one year  I know it's a bit off topic; but is normal for you to use a (,) instead of a (.) to separate between dollars and cents? In the US, we use (.) This is the third time this pattern has repeated. If you're interested in the price pattern read below.
Pump from 600 to 1400 satoshis. This led to a massive dump back and took a while to recover from. It slowly climbed back up to 1500 and then...
Pump from 1500 to 4900 satoshis. This was an epic pump. The usual daily trading volume spiked up to 1400 BTC traded in a day. It was followed by a massive dump (people taking profit).
Since that last dump which occurred the weekend before last the price has slowly climbed back up from 1600 to 2500 to 3500 to 4500. When it broke 3500 confidence started regrowing very quickly. It hovered around the high 4000's for a while. When it smashed through 5000, I posted here saying this is a very significant sign (it's a very bullish indicator recovering from a dump to break the all time high price) and I predicted a frenzied pump like the last two times (proof here - DO NOT POST SESC LINKS ).
We've now experienced the next pump from 4900 to 9000 satoshis
What is happening now is the next dumping phase. Effectively this is people cashing out there profits. I expect this to last for several days like the last few times. There's no proof of work mined coins being dumped on the market. The only mass coins being released are from people who bought low and who want to realise their profits. Eventually this will stop, and the buying pressure will cause further rises in price.
The market cap of this coin is still peanuts. We could easily triple in price from here. Easily. When I do finally start taking profits from this coin, it's going to be one of the rare coins where I only cash out half and keep the other half in. Because with a coin like this you just don't know what the ceiling is going to be for many weeks.
That's the problem I have. I don't really want to cash out even 50% because I don't know the ceiling. It's not like BTC where it has less explosive growth nowadays and the market cap is so insane. Sure the pump and dumps will come and go, but if the next ATH is just around the corner.... *sigh* |

We are 7500 ATM but looking at the graphs I think we should be trading at about low 6000's.

Yes which is why I won't buy back in at anything higher than 3k which we should probably see again midweek once this pump fad wears off and people want to cash out for BTC This strategy is different with PoS. Selling means losing money. Fortunately, with a 8 hours period (as opposed to mintcoin's 20 days period), this is less of an issue. Seeing as BTC isn't going anywhere right now (it's been going down the last week), I don't see why anyone would want to exchange back for BTC. |

the price is sooo manipulated..whales are playing here, and I think many people can get badly burnt..
When it was still at around 2000 I started seeing loads of 1.01010101 buy orders. These spammy orders would drive up price by 100 sats atleast, then noobs arrive and place buy orders above a these 1 bc fake buys, then whale re-inforces and repeat, and after a while price is 3000 and the 1.01010101 orders start again, then price is suddenly 3500, 4000...
Anyone else noticed this?
There were instances of this, but I don't see it now. Dumps get swallowed, the multipool is pouring ~80 BTC / day into the market and people are inclined to hold, no new coins mined to be dumped, given this, I think the growth is normal. Yep I agree. I have no intention of selling portions of my stack until I make at least 4x my initial investment at around 15,000. Even then I would seriously consider holding permanently as this coin could well be worth 10x what it is now in a months time. The multipool keeps the dumpers from succeeding in drastically dropping the price and the constant buy pressure allows people to feel safe and secure keeping their holdings in BC for extended periods of time. This truly has the makings of a Litecoin killer and I can't wait for my transfer from my savings account to come through - I'm gonna buy the shit out of this thing tomorrow haha Might hit 10,000 by then. haha |

Looking at the max chart on mintpal we should be due a correction. Having said that we are in crypto world where normal physics don't apply.
If the growth had been steady, we should be in mid-high 5000's. Will we see a correction soon? Your thoughts...
I'm hoping for a correction too. But it's really hard to predict. I couldn't predict BTC up to $100 or $1000. But I feel this Coins is better then BTC. At the least, it's certainly more exciting. BTC boring and drop. That's why I buy BC. |
