842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: May 23, 2016, 10:11:10 AM
The halving will be very profitable because the fact is that it will halve the block size for sure without any doubts.
843  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net is a scam ? on: May 23, 2016, 09:58:44 AM
Yobit is not a scam for sure, its in my opinion even very trust able and I never had issues with them when I worked with it.

Its trusted by a lot of people and there is also a campaign from them, they can be trusted and these days a lot of people still use it.
844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where to get cheapest bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 09:54:20 AM
The cheapest bitcoins can be get on all kind of markets its all about how you can pay for it, the prices are mostly on every website the same if I'm honest.
845  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Brazil has more than 150 stores that accept bitcoin on: May 23, 2016, 09:50:30 AM
Brazil is for sure the winner with the 150 stores, I think it has a good future in that country due to the fact they have a currency that is not a very good one.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 09:32:30 AM
Gambling with bitcoin is very easy as even your parents won't come to know that you are gambling online as you don't need to disclose your identity too while gambling with bitcoin.

Yup, gambling in the bitcoin is very easy to do and it is extremely difficult for a perpetrator who wanted do gambling. It is very safe for us, if our parents always restrict us against the world of gambling. We can do gambling without having to tell a parent.
Gambling is indeed very easy to do but the fact is that it has a lot of risks, so I do not call it safe but for the bitcoin its of course pretty good.
847  Economy / Speculation / Re: if paypal will close on: May 23, 2016, 09:14:08 AM
If paypal will close the bitcoin is gonna be a lot bigger for sure, I think the most paypal users will step over to the bitcoin.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: May 23, 2016, 09:05:44 AM
Long term investing is good but the fact is that its indeed not much, I think you will make profit with this but not a lot compared with many others on a long term.
849  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 08:50:31 AM
My plans is to get rich with the bitcoin due to the fact that by holding it long enough, it will be very profitable.
850  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 21, 2016, 07:30:11 PM
I think I would just use it for the halving, holding is than the best thing you can do these days, waiting on the halving and gaining profit because of that its than the best option.
851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying a large sum of bitcoins on: May 21, 2016, 07:25:43 PM
Buying large amount with localbitcoins can be done easily people are very right about the fact that it can be done with dealers from it easily.
852  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can I trust Blockchain.info wallet? on: May 21, 2016, 07:19:58 PM
I started my wallet there in 2013 and forgot about it.  I recovered it and now updated it to their "new wallet."

I saw a lot of posts on Reddit that say it would not be wise to use them. But I like the site and the app for my iPhone.

Dumb question, if I make an address with it, can I use that address with a different wallet? If so, do I just use the address and key to migrate it?

I think that yes, you can continue using blockchain.iinfo wallet even though with their new wallet recently, blockchain.info is one of the most popular wallets and you can continue or you can move to desktop wallet. Just stay safe and be sure nobody knows your account password and continue using bitcoin.

Indeed you always have to do this, I think it will really help you without any doubts, the fact is that you can also use the google auth app for the blockchain and I think if you do this its pretty good secured.

The google auth is working pretty good, I first thought it was just bullshit but its pretty safe if you use it for your wallet.
853  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Brazil has more than 150 stores that accept bitcoin on: May 21, 2016, 07:13:37 PM
150 stores is pretty insane for the bitcoin and I can consider this as pretty nice and sweet for people over there.
In my country there is almost no country that is accepting it..
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 21, 2016, 07:08:29 PM
If I was rich, I wouldn't gamble for fear of losing the money.

You should have less more fear in my eyes because becoming poor is lot harder if you are rich right ?
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you waiting for Halving??? on: May 21, 2016, 06:59:33 PM
I'm waiting on the halving for sure, due to the fact that the halving will be most likely very profitable, I think its worth to wait.
856  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: May 21, 2016, 06:52:55 PM
You should never sell your bitcoins due to the future it has, I think that its not smart at all, its just a matter of time before the bitcoin is going to a higher amount.
857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 21, 2016, 06:48:56 PM
I was doing some cleaning on my room and I found some floppy disks, they are around 15 years old! from the Sony brand. I don't have a floppy disk device anymore on my computer, so I used an older computer because I was curious to see if they would still work.
To my surprise, they worked and all the files were accessible.

This made me think that, you could store some Bitcoin related stuff in floppy disks too? Obviously having backups in other places too.. but floppy disks may be yet another cheap way to store files. If I put my seed key in a txt (compressed in a 7z file with a pass) and my wallet.dat file on that floppy disk, it would have lasted for 15 years. I hope that if I do this, in the next 15 years when I find the floppy disks again, I will be rich Cheesy

I think that the really problem is find an hardware that could read easily a floppy... they are literally disappeared a lot of young nerds don't know what are and how it was hard use a floppy for every operation....  I think you could save the passphrase wallet... maybe it's more sure as device space...

Indeed these kiddo's from now do not even know the name, they are thinking you are talking bullshit, they never heard from it.
I honestly think it can be safe.
858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many people use BTMs on: May 21, 2016, 01:14:57 AM
If they would be near my place I would use them but from now on I'm still not using them and I think only a small group is using them.
859  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: May 21, 2016, 01:10:51 AM
It has been a while since steam has accepted bitcoin as their one of the payment method but until now i haven't seen any increase on the price, contrariwise i see only decline for the past few weeks.
you are right. I guess it was not a severe impact on the current bitcoin, steam players may still not know how to use bitcoin or still confused with it. perhaps only a few members who use it
I also think this is true, the fact is that they do not know it and the marketplace prices are way cheaper than on steam so I think the forum prices/dealers will still win it from steam right now.
860  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Be careful! E-Coin may be turning to a scam on: May 21, 2016, 12:36:57 AM
What are the good alternatives to E-coin? I understand Bitgold has debit card option and you could fund it with BTC. Likewise, Bit-x option seems decent. Haven't try it out though.

I tried out the bit-x card and they are okay, I now already used them for a month and they are good with the payments.
I'm now considering to buy a physical card.
