1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: March 14, 2016, 10:39:54 AM
There are many fun gambling games that I like to do. But the most that I like is poker. That is so fun.
And I know it is bad for your money. But it gives you a lot of fun and that is also very important.
1082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: March 14, 2016, 10:35:13 AM
It will go up, but I think, it cant reach 800$. Maybe, it can hit to 550$.

I disagree, the halving can let the price go to a high amount for sure no doubt about that in my opinion.
Its just a matter of time before it will hit it, maybe it will even go to a higher amount.

It would not make sense that the halving alone would bring bitcoin to such a high mark.
I therefore doubt it will happen. Maybe 600 at the end of this year, but surely nothing higher then that.
why not? people are expecting that the price will grow and that the interest of people will grow therefore there will be a huge pump of bitcoin what will push the price up significantly

it would be great to see new all time high at that time as it would bring me wast amounts of money then
We all hope for that. But it is hard to predict for what is going to happen. I think that the price will rise soon.
And that it will rise for a long time. The halving is also coming and that is very good. But we must see for what is going to happen.
1083  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 14, 2016, 10:32:08 AM
Sell 2 BTC and buy BRK.b with solid return for the last 10 years.
 Grin

i can have better expectation for 10 years holding bitcoin, the price will skyrocket much more than any other stock or market, at least it has the potential nedd only the fuel
yeah better hold your bitcoin for 10 years or 20 years instead of the purchase shares of a company. bitcoin has the potential price will rise very high. so better hold if you've collected a lot of bitcoin
Yeh..it will be definitely worthy to save it up until the retirement and whatever amount we could collect in the mean time would be enough.

Sell 2 BTC and buy BRK.b with solid return for the last 10 years.
 Grin

BRK.B is a stock right?

10 years would be long. I could double this 2 BTC in a year or so just by some good knowledge in trading. What if I die in ten years that would be a lost for me then.
Just considering the unexpected outcomes doesn't makes sense.
You will never know what you will need. Because the value is always changing and that is very bad.
We all hope of course that the value will rise and that we can have all some profit. But it is hard to predict.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about Halving??? on: March 14, 2016, 10:28:36 AM
You never know what will happen with the halving. But we all hope that it will rise the value for Bitcoin of course.
But there is also a chance that it can be down in value and that is not good. It is hard to predict.
1085  Other / Off-topic / Re: Way to get bitcoin..!! on: March 14, 2016, 10:19:22 AM
There are many different ways to get some Bitcoin and that is very good. But the most people use signature campaign.
And that works very well of course. But you dont know what the value will be in the future. And that is quite risky.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: March 14, 2016, 10:15:35 AM
Gambling never appears to be a problem until you start loosing

This one, i really agree with you. When gambling make you win, you will not complaining. And when you lose on gambling you lose your mind and make you to gambling more. It's the problem.

if you win you will happy , and when you lose you will be a poor man hahaah
Many people have a gambling problem and that is very bad. You will get easily addicted to it and that is the problem.
You must realize how much money you spend on it and that is all wasted and that is so bad.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: March 14, 2016, 10:12:23 AM
it will not happen it takes decades to make a thing to have a big value, just like bitcoin it will only have a bigger after decades or centuries.cause bitcoin will replace the we all known paper money in the future.
I am not sure people are ready for that. Also Bitcoin, as it is now, does not seem that 'easy to use' for non-tech people. If you ask hundred people outside of this forum the following two questions: (1) if they know Bitcoin at all and (2) would they move all their life savings into Bitcoin tomorrow. I wonder if you get two 'yes' answers from anybody. Btw., would you move all your savings to Bitcoin tomorrow?
It will not happen that fast. Its now good to hold it of course, because the value is not that high. So it is not good to sell it.
I hope that more people will sell it with some profit and that they also going to use more. That will be so great.
1088  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: March 14, 2016, 10:08:37 AM
When people talk about inflation, it's in the context of whether their money will buy less in the future, and people buying bitcoin as an inflation hedge are hoping that it will preserve their purchasing power better than the dollar.

Nobody cares about money supply except to the extent that it affects prices.

... and money supply always affects prices, it is the time delay that is unpredictable.
It takes a long time to increase the value. So we need patience and that is very important in Bitcoin.
I hope more people will sell Bitcoin later with a high price and that they will get some profit of it.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins on: March 14, 2016, 10:05:20 AM
The best thing now that you can do is just hold it now around this time. That is the smartest thing that you can do.
The value is not that high now. And it will maybe rise later in the future and that will be very good.
1090  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: March 13, 2016, 09:09:25 PM
I buy whenever it works out with the budget.  Try to buy small amounts at a time so the price really does not affect it, it is more about the amount of btc rather than what price i purchased. I learned this awhile ago, it is a more relaxing approach to a very volatile coin.

If i want to buy something and can pay with bitcoin i make sure to buy bitcoin. Else i just wait till the price is low to buy.
The goal is to make profit on future increases. Although that is never a certainty with bitcoin
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: March 13, 2016, 07:59:10 PM
well even though i spend a lot of time gambling i usually dont make any significant wins as im not that lucky on gambling, i sometimes manage to get small wins but not bigger than 0.05 btc

to be honest i sometimes even try to avoid playing with big money in order not to lose most of the money i save up

Same for me. Not one big win so far. Best so far was 0.02BTC a few weeks ago.
In a way that is not bad since i am not a big risk taker nor gambler. For me it's a way to kill time when I am waiting on someone.
Will never do it with big amounts of money.
1092  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CRYPTSY MAKES DEAL WITH HACKERS TO RETURN STOLEN 13,000 BTC, PAYS 13% FEE on: March 13, 2016, 07:56:12 PM
i doubt that it is possible right now? who would return 100 per cent of the money for just ten per cent of it? either way the hackers wont be uncovered most probably

it seems to be a little bit fishy to me though it is very interesting how it will turn out in the future

Yes for some reason this sound fishy to me too.
I read that the hackers did not had any plans to use the stolen coins but it was just a message to warn cryptsy.
1093  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: March 13, 2016, 07:52:24 PM
Sell an item on ebay for $100, actually receive $86

http://www.newlifeauctions.com/calc.html

Remind me why there's no good bitcoin auction websites since Bitmit again?

that's the reason why i like to use and to pay with bitcoins, miners fee is like, 0,00004 bitcoins?anyway, it's really really small, not even 1 cent, while paypal and ebay fees are around 14% if i'm correct, that might be reason why bitcoin will be main currency later

It's because these party's people are fed up. Fed up with CC/Paypal and this expensive market places.
They take too big of a fee which make selling small or cheap items a waste of your time because the fees cut your profit.
I am positive more and more people will see this.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: March 13, 2016, 07:49:46 PM
Chocolate chip cookies without milk??  Tongue
naah i can not agree with that, bitcoin does not need any altcoins to exist, thats like a fifth leg for a dog which already has four legs

without any altcoins bitcoin would be way more popular than it is right now and the price would be significantly higher as all money would be put up in bitcoins

Without altcoin I don't think bitcoin could have reached this extent. Only due to the competence bitcoin has reached such a extend.

Well in terms of innovation bitcoin has stayed the same. But in terms of price bitcoin have taken a real bitcoin.
But I don't see any altcoin these day can compete with bitcoin. None of them have the weight bitcoin has.
1095  Economy / Services / Re: 20 BTC bounty for finding Jason Boyko (Pbmining) on: March 13, 2016, 07:00:11 PM
Time is up for you Jason Boyko!
I`m offering 20 bitcoins reward for the person who finds Jason Boyko or another guys who was working with Pbmining.com.
This reward will be paid only when Jason Boyko is found and he has paid the the (lost) bitcoins.

We know you are still here in the forum, so better not to hide anymore, I`ll find you!

Well what is the catch here?
Pbmining is already dead long time ago as far as I know.

In that reference the WHOIS of the site will give no one any clue since the owner had obviously changed them.

This scam guys are spoiled and arrogant. I am sure he made an error reveling his real email address or another kind of nickname.
These things will get us to find him and make sure law enforcement does so too.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: March 13, 2016, 06:57:47 PM
in 10 years i see bitcoin be used by many people, more than what we can even imagine right now. also a lot of other services will add bitcoin as an accepted currency to their website.
also the price because of all that would be above $2000

Well it depends how it will come out. If bitcoin will have a good advertisement and more and more people start using it. I am sure the price would touch the sky.
It nothing happends then the price will probably stay around 200 dollars and go back to 1 dollar eventually.
1097  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 13, 2016, 06:54:48 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will go back to that value as price is rising at a moment and it will continue to rise in future too, as we are expecting haling in next couple of months so we would be seeing better price in future.

It seems to me the price will never go there. In the last years we have seen the ultimate low at around 180 dollars at bitstamp.
From there the price never went that low. But if would i would be sure to buy more bitcoins.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Soccer Betting System on: March 13, 2016, 06:51:36 PM
Using Martingale in sportsbetting is tricky to nearly impossible not because it can't be done but because of the unfavourable odds. You need to have at least 2 odds and only bet on sports that have 2 possible endings which most American Sports are suitable for. I have seen NHL teams with odds near or above 2 which could work with Martingale if you have a huge bankroll and pick the odds wisely.

I've tried this tactic a few weeks ago. And it sure has it benefits. But there is no guarantee it will work with every game.
Which is why i switched back to my normal gambling habits (a few times a week) and that's it.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: March 13, 2016, 06:43:12 PM
We are just few dollars away from the $400. It may fall below $400, no wonder what happens. As the nature of bitcoin itself is unpredictable and fluctuating possibilities are found high.

We sure did get back at 411 dollar but what i saw last weekend. The price going down to 395 and then instantly going back above 400
has shown me the people here believe that 400 is a good price, so there is stable support for 400 dollar.
1100  Economy / Gambling / Re: betcoin poker cheating on: March 13, 2016, 06:40:27 PM
I knew there was something shady going on playing the high stakes PLO8 tables.  Ive been playing poker for 15 years and never seen that kind of "luck" in my life for the other players.

Now I just busted out of a NLHE tournament.  This guy kept bluffing me over and over like he knew I couldn't call.  So we're on the last 3 tables and he limps UTG for 2400.  I'm near the button and I go all in with about 50k.  This same guy has about the same amount of chips and he calls basically all in after everyone else folds.  I flip over AK and he flips over 25 and flops a straight.  I'm done with this bullshit.  I would advise everyone else to stay away from this site.  First the rake "mistake" and now this. It's a shame there aren't any legit bitcoin poker sites.

Well it's good that you have finally see that most of these sites are rigged.
I am curious which betcoin you are talking about btw. tm or ag? To me they both seem shady gambling site btw.
