it will be safe if you hold it until the price of bitcoin go up, but if your going to invest it on a site offering to double your bitcoin that will vanish in no time. Yeah, do not invest it on a site but just hold it for when the price goes up. That is the best thing to do and at the same time it is safe to do. I am sure that you will make some money out of that one Bitcoin. |

given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is how do we trade bitcoin during this time if we can't access internet.

Bitcoin network completely breaks down. no hash power, no node. no confirmation, then we have to go cash, like dollar, euro. Yeah if the internet goes down there is pretty much nothing that we can do, we just have to life with it at the moment. We just have to go back to the old ways and use only your countries currency again. |

Yes, it is hard to control. It is easier said than done. You can stop for a while then your hands becomes itchy to go log in again. And when you do, there is no stopping it. You will gamble all the way. The fun and excitement won't let you stop especially when you want to get back a loss. Indeed, gambling is because of the fact that its enjoying you want to play again and again and that is the mistake of people. I think I have changed my perspective since the first time I came to this thread. At that moment, I was actively spending my Bitcoin buying things like games, right now I am waiting for a price increase to spend my coins in a decent laptop (I have around 0.65, right now that would only buy me an old laptop, I am getting more and waiting for a price increase to be able to buy the one I want).
Same is here I was also actively using my coins for online purchase and converting them to fiat after earning but now I have kept my coins with me and I am waiting for a few months more to see that upto where my coins are going to increase in value. I'm also doing this because there is such a good chance that the bitcoin is going to a higher amount this year. Holding right now is the best thing you can do in my opinion, the halving will help us all for sure. |

In 20 years time everything changes so can't predict in what range bitcoin will be. Just hold a very little portion for the future, rest will be converted to fiat and used when needed.
Holding and spending at the right time is the best thing to do with bitcoin, as thinking of 20 more years would be really a waste of time. I agree with holding at the moment.
