701  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken Warns Users: Your Bitcoin Trading Data Is Headed to the IRS on: October 30, 2023, 07:14:36 PM
This is one of the disadvantages of using centralised exchanges. When we are using centrlaised exchange, this kind of action is expected. The exchange has to obey the government rules if they want to run business there. Otherwise, Exchange will have to encounter law enforcement action. No central exchange is able to protect our privacy when forced by a government agency. We have to accept that truth and find alternatives like Dex Exchange. Otherwise, anytime, the government will get our data, and we will have to face troubles.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LastPass hack - move your crypto assets to a more secure place right now! on: October 30, 2023, 06:59:15 PM
Each of us would have a different view, but I think it will be a stupid decision to store your cryptographic credentials with a third party. I don't believe any third party when it's related financially. I don't even feel comfortable using a custodial wallet. Why should we hand over our wallet credentials to a third party? Can't we write our wallet credentials in our personal notebook? If we can't secure our wallet credentials, then we don't have the right to use crypto. There are many trusted non-custodial wallets, but we need to secure the seed phrase. Otherwise, we can't secure our funds anyway. However, this is a lesson and an important notice for crypto users. Just avoid such actions.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The possibility of another bitcoin hardfork. on: October 30, 2023, 06:49:09 PM
It's impossible to control the Bitcoin network at all. BlackRock buying mining companies shares doesn't mean they want to gain access to the network. They can't change anything, and they can't make any harmful decisions. And forking Bitcoin means nothing. They can't gain anything by forking the Bitcoin blockchain. It will just create a new altcoin. And still, Bitcoin will be uncontrollable under any conditions. If BlackRock is a US secret mission to control Bitcoin, then they are wrong.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is health and health is Bitcoin. on: October 30, 2023, 06:39:45 PM
Health is for living a wonderful life; if you are unhealthy, you can't live a wonderful life. During that time, we are unable to take any decisions since we can't focus on anything else except recovering from the health issue. So the same is true when you intend to invest in Bitcoin. For Bitcoin investment, we need more research and a fresh mind. In unhealthy conditions, we aren't able to do it. So for any kind of financial decision, it's important that your health conditions are fine. So we must care about our healthy lives to become wealthy.

706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a “safe haven asset” on: October 29, 2023, 10:05:45 PM
Bitcoin is a safe haven for those who believe in financial freedom. As an investor, I don't feel like a safe haven, but as a crypto enthusiast, I feel like a safe haven. You may think it's conflicting, but really not. Because when I invest in Bitcoin, I have to worry about the dump. If something goes wrong, then I will lose my portfolio. So how could I call Bitcoin a safe haven? On the other hand, due to financial freedom, I feel safe storing Bitcoin. Though it is a value dump, we can use it whenever we want. No one can monitor me, and no one can prevent me from using my own funds.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if there was only one cryptocurrency, which is Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2023, 09:21:25 PM
How could we imagine that something doesn't exist or will never exist? What if there weren't bitcoins? Then there's no altcoin there either. With altcoins together, we have a cryptocurrency industry, so without altcoins, the industry can't stand; otherwise, there will be only the bitcoin industry. There is an altcoin; hence, investors know the value of Bitcoin. For example, we sometimes hate centralised exchanges, but these centralised exchanges make Bitcoin popular because you can trade and make money with alts. So alts are playing a major role in the crypto industry.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have we seen the lowest low of this bear market? on: October 28, 2023, 06:40:43 PM
The market is bullish, but I don't want to overexpect. Because Bitcoin is a highly volatile coin, it pumps when there is any good news. But from the news, it wouldn't last long without real adaptation. Bitcoin ETF isn't a real adaptation at all. It does create a FOMO and pump. But to me, I don't expect below $24K this year. It should play between $25K and $40K. Halving could play a major role regarding the pump if Bitcoin EFT gets approved. But still, both aren't real adaptations for me.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My little research. on: October 25, 2023, 10:08:38 PM
Yes, you have to learn a lot of things, especially if you want to allow Bitcoin in your business as a payment method. Governments usually don't like Bitcoin, though some countries allow their users to use it. The government won't allow two currencies in their country, where fiat is currently ruling. It's just a part of centralised government policy. I admit a few country even don't understand Bitcoin. For example, my government doesn't have enough knowledge about Bitcoin. So we can't expect Bitcoin adaptation from them.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you leave the country or will you stay, stand up and fight for your right? on: October 25, 2023, 10:01:12 PM
The rules in the US are quite strict. Even if you want to fight, you have to do it legally. Though I am not a citizen of the US, I know some rules about it. They are very hard on taxation. No one can skip it in the US. Probably, citizens won't move to another country because its people dream of becoming citizens of the US if they live outside of that country. They should fight in court about their rights. There is no way to commit violence.
711  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance New Update and it Transaction IDs. on: October 24, 2023, 09:23:43 PM
Very rarely, I used to send funds through Pay ID. So I haven't encountered this issue at all. When I intend to send funds to another user, I send them through email. Of course they are my known person; otherwise, they won't share their email address with me. However, thanks for sharing it with us. I wasn't aware of this. It would help new users who aren't very experienced. By the way, holding funds in a centralised exchange isn't advisable anyway.
712  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [List] Telegram in-app wallet on: October 24, 2023, 09:15:15 PM
Telegram = safe heaven for scammers.
Telegram wallet = scam wallet.

So, why are you referring to the Telegram wallet? We have a lot of non-custodial wallets, and many of them are highly trusted, like Electrum. Before posting anything in the forum, make sure it is safe to use. Otherwise, don't suggest anything or promote anything here.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 24, 2023, 09:06:37 PM
Invest only that you can afford to lose is straight-forward. I am not discouraging you to invest; I am just warning you to invest with caution. Because it seems you have serious funds related to your career. If you lose it for some reason, then you will face a lot of trouble in the near future. Bitcoin seems highly volatile right now, and there are Bitcoin ETF rumours. If rumours become true, then we will see a pump. If it becomes false like before, then we will see a dump for sure. I will advise you to invest from your savings, not from your only capital. So even in a market dump, you will not encounter any issues and can hold for a long time.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF $IBTC REMOVED IN DTCC WEBSITE!! MANIPULATION COMING OUT? on: October 24, 2023, 08:51:50 PM
I saw the news a few hours ago. To be honest, the situation has become conflicted. I was wondering why DTCC added ibtc if there were no clues about the BlackRock Bitcoin ETF. It does create a FOMO, and investors start accumulating; hence, we saw the pump. Adding it without confirmation and suddenly removing it seems unprofessional. If it were for the test or fake, then it was a bull trap by them. DTCC should encounter legal action due to the loss of huge funds. Because a lot of investors will suffer due to the list and its removal.
715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has Bitcoin skyrocketed recently? on: October 24, 2023, 08:16:39 PM
Yesterday, there were rumours and FOMOs about Bitcoin ETF approval, which hasn't been a valid reference yet. But Bitcoin seems to have started pumping even without confirmed ETF approval. Its all about FOMO, investors jumping to make quick money from the ETF news. Price seems to have started dumping today; hence, DTCC removed Blackrock from the list. But still, the chart is pretty strong. I hope ETF approval is near and will be approved. So if it creates a big FOMO, then likely we will see another bull run.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone holds 1 bitcoin in 2023, can he call himself rich ? on: October 23, 2023, 10:58:24 PM
I think definitions vary country-wise. If you live in a poor or developing country, holding 1 BTC would be considered rich. If you live in a developed country like the US, then I don't think it's enough to be called rich. You should hold more bitcoin. My opinion is based on the current price when writing the post. Now you have to decide whether you are rich or poor.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blackrock ETF listed on the ticker index… perhaps it’s approved? on: October 23, 2023, 10:35:17 PM
Anything hasn't been officially announced, but most likely there is a green signal of approval. Because Yahoo published a news story, BlackRock plans to seed its Spot Bitcoin ETF in October. So most likely, they are planning to buy Bitcoin, and the price start to go up. From some tweets and other sources, it seems the ticker add upon ETF approval. But I am wondering why there is still no official news or announcement.

Also Cointelegraph posted: BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF now listed on Nasdaq trade clearing firm — Bloomberg analyst
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will it affect your life if bitcoin price comes to $1 million per bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 10:18:33 PM
To be honest, I don't think I'll be able to hold Bitcoin until it reaches $1 million. I can't imagine how it will affect my life. Because I always want to take advantage of the volatility. So when I see a big pump, I want to sell my holdings and buyback again. So I am not sure if I can buy it back successfully after selling it. I assume most holders will sell their holdings before reaching $1 million, and new buyers will enter the market. They might hold on until then.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to invest or trade Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 07:05:11 PM
Your concern should be trade or hold. Because when you enter into trading and buy a coin, you have already invested in it. Now you are part of the coin; if it dumps, then you lose; if it pumps, you gain. Hold means you hold it for a long time until you reach your desired price. Any cryptocurrency investment is highly risky. No matter whether you are trading or holding. Usually 'Investing' we mean investing in a brand new project. But it seems you mean it as a long-term holding. There are no high or low risks; you may lose big from both. I will advise you to make a decision based on your experience. If you aren't a very good trader, then you might choose to hold. Also, you should understand when you should hold, so experience and knowledge in crypto will play a major role.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin were a physical currency. on: October 23, 2023, 06:40:13 PM
If you want, you can't create a new physical currency. Every country has its own native currency, which means even a government can't create another new currency. Even printing new notes of existing currency needs some regulation.A government can't just print money whenever they want. So it's a useless discussion imagination of Bitcoin as a physical currency. Any physical currency must be centralised and controlled by the government, which is against Bitcoin features.
