A a bad luck trader. I've been into crypto space for over a decade but my wrong decisions, hacks and scam led to lose most of my money and I ended up losing more than earning. I am now a more informed trader who trades on signals that too on trusted alts and bitcoin. Gambling had been one of my largest economic problem. Though I'm much stable now, I lost all of my crypto rage betting in 2019. My current strategy is to grid trade my coins and hold some for bull spikes.

Lucknow super Giants wins against Punjab Kings by 21 runs.
LSG, winning the toss wanted to bat first and they created a good score of 199. Quinton de Kock, Nicholas Pooran and Krunal Pandya performed good with their bat.
Punjab chasing a target of 200 looked good for the first half of the game, not loosing a wicket till 102 runs. Both of the openers Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow were outstanding. At the peak of their partnership it looked like they are easily going to chase it but as the wickets started falling, they couldn't take the game on their control. Liam Livingstone tried guiding the team on last overs but failed to score at faster pace.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 30, 2024, 05:16:17 PM
Another two-minute flip from Bayer Leverkusen. They really take their unbeaten streak seriously. Even a draw is not enough, they turn around and win all the games they are behind. I've never seen a team like this. We're witnessing something we haven't seen for a long time. They want to end the season undefeated. They deserve to win everything.
I was surprised to see Bayern Leverkusen struggle to beat Hoffenheim in the league, even though they were at home. Late goals from Andrich and Schick were enough to give Bayern Leverkusen the needed three points against Hoffenheim. With this 2-1 home win, Bayern Leverkusen is still leading Bayern Munich by 10 points in the Bundesliga table.
Leverkusen got the 3 points anyway. Maybe it was the break that most teams weren't able to perform as they were doing before the break.
Of the matches played today, the most important result was the draw between Leipzig and Mainz, that's a bad result for Leipzig as they are fighting for Champions League slot against Dortmund. Mainz should have been an easy win. Another shocking loss was Wolfsburg vs Werder Bermen where Werder loss 0-2 against Wolfsburg. Werder now has a long losing streak. Frankfurt and Union Berlin draw too was a setback for Frankfurt team but their Conference League slot might still be secure.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 30, 2024, 04:49:10 PM
Sri Lanka lost four wickets and collected 314 runs. I think a very good performance from the Sri Lanka team, because the target of 314 runs seems too big for Bangladesh so far. As Bangladesh were bowled out for 188 runs in the first innings in the first Test match and scored 182 runs in the second innings. The Bangladesh team lost the first test match by a margin of 328 runs, so the target of 314 runs that they have collected so far is big for Bangladesh. Hasan Mahmood, one of Bangladesh's bowlers is performing well, unique bowlers are not performing well because of them, Sri Lanka team is getting chance to score runs.

Sri Lanka has not declared yet and they have 6 wickets left. Except Angelo Mathews, all of them had a good score and the new batsmen too are seen set.
They'd try to bat the whole of 2nd day which may mean if they be able to bat the whole day without losing all of their wickets, they'll make a comfortable 600+ but also in an unlikely situation, they'll get near 500 and Bangladesh would start batting on the later session. In any circumstances, I believe Sri Lanka would have upper hand and they could even win by an inning if they get over 600.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 30, 2024, 03:54:17 PM
Of the 4 matches happening today in la liga, two have yielded result while 1 going on is predictable.
Cadiz won over Granada by 1 goal. Both of these teams are in relegation zone and among them, Granada and Almeria has no hopes while Cadiz is still in fight with Celta Vigo in order to not get relegated. Almeria and Osasuna match running at the moment has almeria already down by 2 goals and I don't see them recovering.
Another game between Getafe and Sevilla was a small surprise as Sevilla won it by 1 goal. But both of these teams are not going anywhere up or down.
Valencia vs Mallorca is the remaining game. And as it's on Valencia's home, they should have an easy win.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 30, 2024, 03:26:28 PM
Today, the league is back after a break and we have 7 different matches today. Newcastle vs West Ham already yielded results with 4-3 in favor of Newcastle. west ham was leading the game by two goals from the start of the 2nd half till the 77th minute. Newcastle scored 3 goals in 13 minutes to win over West Ham in 90 minutes game.
Of the running games, a interesting development is being seen on the match between Tottenham and Luton. Luton Town scored an early goal in 3rd  minute and are leading till the moment. A win or draw for Luton against Tottenham would make Luton safer from relegation while Tottenham's chance of Europa league may dwindle. Nottm forest is already down 1 goal againts crystal palace and Nottm is the competitor for Luton to not relegate from this league.
67  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can family members help a gambling addict? on: March 30, 2024, 11:51:42 AM
Many people are going through gambling addiction but they manage to keep it a secret from their families and loved ones. The only people that know about their gambling activities are their close friends. In the event that you are one of those close friend to a gambling addict, do you think it is right to tell their loved ones with the intention that they will be able to talk to him and help him overcome his addiction? Can the advice of loved ones even help? What is the most effective way of going about gambling addiction.

They can. Depends on how comfortable you are sharing it with them. People tend to share about their addiction to friends but not with family cause it would be a larger shock and could immediately affect your relation and living style. Most people don't admit they are in addiction and even if they do, they are not entirely sure if they want to get out of it. Giving your family a hint means they could just cut off your access to gambling places/sites or your own money source, or at worst disown you. But if you really want to leave gambling for good. Your family would help you, they might be a bit harsh but it would work.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Solana is 20x up but Ethereum is dying, yet for years ppl shill Eth why? on: March 30, 2024, 08:26:18 AM
You are right that solana is doing well but ethereum is not dying either. Ethereum might not have the same hype as it used to have being the only L1 solution, but L2 layers are what still making it popular. Many L2 chains even use Ethereum as gas and it's demand directly influence the price of Ethereum. With the recent Duncan update, the Ethereum developers aided the use of L2. Ethereum is also a popular speculative coin like bitcoin and with the update overall fees of Ethereum network too have decreased now much lower than that of bitcoin.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to keep/park (airbag) funds? on: March 29, 2024, 11:36:02 PM
If you just want to keep usd safe, putting it on a bank would be safer and may earn you larger interest depending on where you are. Bank themselves are not invincible but regulatory measures mean public's deposit are always safe. If you want the usd to be in ready position to get into a crypto, than you can stake it on flexible or fixed savings on Tier 1 exchanges. The problem in Celcius and Nexo are an example why such lending and investment platforms might not be a good business model. Lastly if you intend to invest in crypto, you should just do it.
70  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The best way to fight insecurity in our society on: March 29, 2024, 08:39:43 PM
The world have been using war to fight insecurity, wasting economic and human resource but it seen insecurity is increasing on daily basis. I think war is not the best approach to insecurity. If we want a society free from security challenges there should be equal right and justics, any government that cannot solve the issue of security for 24hr has hand in the insecurity problem facing the people. One of the things that can also eradicate insecurity in our society is to improve on our economy and create adequate social amenities and jobs creations especially for the youth.

Security is a complex issue. Good education and opportunities to do a decent job and lead a quality life would certainly improve social security. A good national economy with food and energy security and decent welfare system could help the government create a stable system in the nation.
A degree of harsh measure from the government could be a good thing to manage extremism. Camera monitoring of public places may sound anti-privacy stance but they have been one of the most reliable source of information for countering crime and bring criminals to justice.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 29, 2024, 07:15:11 PM
A fact I just realized is KKR became the first away team in IPL 2024 to win a match. Kolkata Knight Riders, winning the toss, made RCB bat first.
RCB had a weak start but the opener Virat Kohli staying from the first to last ball making an individual 83 helped create a respectable target of 183 for KKR.
KKR chasing the target was never really in pressure making 183+ in 17th over. With this KKR remains as the team that has won all of its games along with CSK and RR.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been kicked out of a casino? on: March 29, 2024, 04:43:16 PM
Hi community,

We always hear about a gambler who has been harassed, expelled, or banned from a casino for a number of justified or unjustified reasons. There are those who have been banned for violating the laws or internal regulations of the casino, or for suspicious actions that negatively affect the course of play, or chaos inside the casino, or for other unknown reasons.

Have you been in this situation before?
It's a pleasure to hear your story.

Personally, I have never been kicked out of casino. I don't do anything that might even look weird let alone going against the terms. Though, I have heard a lot of stories about people being kicked out of a casino mostly because they are winning. Most of the casino has the readymade answer claiming the player was counting cards or cheating in some ways. I have also herd of people being kicked out for drinking too much from casino that offers free drinks. People are also asked to leave if they are entering casinos just for the sightseeing on casinos that don't have minimum chip purchase requirement to enter.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried, the "Crypto King" jailed for 25 years on: March 29, 2024, 11:04:22 AM
I too lost a lot buying FTX token at $55 and selling for $5. FTX was the exchange at that time. They offered the cheapest trading fees among entire A tier exchanges and it's volume was rapidly increasing. Sam Bankman-Fried did used the funds deposited by the users without consent and offered it to his own company called Alameda Research. Everything was fine till the bull lasted but when the bear arrived, Sam had more loans than assets. There's a lack of transparency and regulations on crypto exchanges that enables a few people to use the coins the way they want. This has time and again brought problems.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any news on the PI Network? on: March 28, 2024, 11:24:43 PM
I can't find a lot of news about the Pi Network. Is it worth still mining Pi Coins? Has it been identified as a scam yet?
It seems to be stuck at the Phase III (Enclosed) since December 2021 according to their roadmap with no further information about when it
continues with the Open Mainnet Phase III (Open).
Is there actually a community building apps and utilities on the Enclosed Mainnet for the network?

They are supposedly trading at a high price at $43.20 in exchanges like HTX. That would make me a millionaire considering how much I had on my app. I reinstalled it and tried to withdraw but not all of it are withdraw-able but a large portion is. Another hurdle before withdrawing was KYC. I didn't wanted to give mine without assurance so I made my friend do it. He said even though he have verified his KYC, they claim the tokens need to be swapped as the tokens in app and exchange are different and when he proceeded, the function to swap was not available. He's waiting for his own million but I have no hopes from it. I guess they are scams.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or Fiat? on: March 28, 2024, 10:43:36 PM
When planning to protect yourself against volatile crypto market prices, which type of currency do you prefer? A stablecoin, or a traditional Fiat currency (USD, EUR, JPY, etc)? Why did you make that choice? Would you prefer holding either currency long-term? Or crypto is better for that?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Cash is still the king when you need to spend it quick. But stablecoin can be a good way to save your money as it gets you more interest rate than banks. (For most nations)
Currently USD stablecoin staking is been provided a interest rate over 9% (APY) on binance. And even in the bear, the rate were around 4% which is still better than what my banks are providing. DEFIs might provide even better rates. There are risks involved, moreso on stablecoin investment than saving on banks but if you are careful enough, saving on stablecoin might be a much secure and better way to grow your money.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International break's in football. on: March 28, 2024, 10:17:50 PM
The football is so much commercialized today that people do know players by club but not by their nation. It's a good thing for players as well the fans. Good football players are earning amounts that they might have never imagined only playing through their national teams. It's a life changing moment for most of African and South American players to be signed in a poplar league. This also enables individual players to shine who would have other-way not be on a succesful national team. Ibramovich, Gareth Bale and Erling Haaland are well recognized by fans but most of them might not know which national side they play with.
FIFA International windows are important in the sense that it allows the national players playing around the world get to know each other and keep the team alive for competitive tournaments. Sudden session a month before an important tournament might not be enough to prepare for it.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Meme" coins are ruining everything on: March 28, 2024, 09:15:04 PM
I see "meme" coins are clogging up Blockchains and rendering them useless, as the hype shows no signs of slowing down. Blockchains like ETH, BTC, and even Polygon/MATIC have seen an increase in network fees. Even Coinbase's ETH L2 network (BASE) have been affected by "meme" coins.

This is frustrating, because there are users who want to use crypto for day-to-day payments. Not for speculating or getting rich quick. Developers are going to need to constantly improve on-chain scalability to keep fees as low as possible. That's without undermining decentralization, of course.

What's your opinion on this? Do you think the "meme" coins craze will move the industry away from being a utilitarian one to a speculative one? Will the hype last forever? Do you think crypto will do fine with "meme" coins in the way?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

This is a valid concern. Network congestion and transaction fees had been one of the limiting factor on rise of a coin price. Sometimes people are not being able to sell on the spike just because they can't transact. There have been issues of networks being clogged up when there's a trend on some memecoin. It seems meme coin are indeed much popular and most of the people are speculating and trying to get rich quick than thinking about the use of blockchain and crypto tokens as utility. And this meme frenzy is far than over. Like you said, improvement on scalability and availability of options would make it easier. Like Ethereum network would have been too clogged if all the Solana memes were generated over it. Solana has been able to handle it while Ethereum still getting a fair share of transactions. Bitcoin's transaction cost and speed too have improved with full segwit adoption.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 28, 2024, 04:13:43 PM
Delhi Capitals are yet to win a match, but their bowling performance today is so good that they put Rajasthan Royals under heavy wicket pressure. Rajasthan Royals are under heavy wicket pressure in the power play, if they can keep the pressure till the end then Delhi Capital team will surely win. Because the aggressive batting has been out of Rajasthan Royals team. Now Ashwin and Riyan Parag who are currently batting for Rajasthan Royals have formed a partnership. So far Rajasthan Royals team has collected 88 runs for 3 wickets in 13 overs.

The way Rajasthan Royals started their innings today was an IPL match. We don't usually see such bad starts in IPL. In the first 10 overs, the collection of Rajasthan Royals was only 58 runs. Rajasthan's batsmen could not collect even 6 runs per over.

Riyan Parag's responsible batting allowed Rajasthan to collect 160 runs after 19 overs. Parag remained unbeaten on 59 off 39 balls. Rajasthan Royals will probably provide a target of 170. I wouldn't call it a good target on a batting friendly pitch. But if the bowlers do well, Rajasthan has a chance to win.

Rajasthan Royals loss the toss and were asked to bat first. Their start was really bad. At the end of 8th over, they were 38/3. Which is a run rate of 4.75 and a predicted total of just 95. Riyag Parag changed the fate for RR. Coming in as the 4th man, he stayed in the crease till the last  ball making an 84 out of 45 balls individually. Consisting of 6 sixes and 7 fours. While other players like Ravichandran Ashwin, Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer scored quick runs.
185 is not a huge target but is defendable considering how RR previously defended their score and how DC has performed in their last game.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: March 28, 2024, 01:00:45 PM
IMO solana is a buy anywhere below $200. There could be ups and downs but Solana would reach $500 in next bull.
Solana is a growing ecosystem and might be the largest one considering new users. The tokens on the platform are getting more attention and as the use of Solana increases, the demand for Solana coin would increase. A fun fact, Solana has still not reached the ATH that it made in 2021. One of the reason were the issues with the Solana network. And now with most solvable issues solved, I see Solana hitting $300 within a couple of months and $500 by next year.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ International Football Prediction and Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 28, 2024, 12:15:19 AM

So now that all games are over, it's time to see how these predictions fared:

Germany W
England X
Brazil X

I underestimated teams that England and Brazil were playing because they were only able to salvage a point from both their matches. England have all the top stars in the world but always failing to impress or win games especially really crucial games that matches their squad quality. As for Brazil, it was a well contested game so I have zero remarks othan that.
I don't know why Spain do was unable to win the match which they started well. If not for the two penalties that was given to Spain how would they have scored more goals, however they deserved the penalty and it is part of football. Their early lead was unable to secure a win for them.

Brazil took advantage of the second half, and equalized the game to end the match in a draw. Actually, I was not expecting Spain to win the match, because both teams are balanced and filled with youngsters. It was an interesting match.

For someone who watched the Spain vs Brazil game, I can confirm for a fact that it was a well matched game. Both teams were very competitive and it was entertaining to watching especially when seeing all the tricks that players  Yamal, Vini and Endrick put on display. Yamal especially because he completely tore apart Brazil's defense on multiple occasions. I also loved the fact that Brazil fought back hard. As a friendly game, I didn't expect such competitiveness but you'd love to see it.

Brazil needs to improve in their defense. Spain were inside the Dbox without any resistance each time. Except that both the team seemed to be equally capable.
England vs Belgium was another match I enjoyed. Lots of action, impressive goals, some good saves. Both of the goals for Belgium were scored by Tielemans in 1st half, both impressive ones, the first due to a poor clearing by Pickford and second by an impressive assist from Lukaku. England scored their 1st goal as penalty. The 2nd half was mostly England attacking Belgian post. But it took the last minute of the injury time to score the equalizer goal. One of the corner goal from England was overturned by VAR due to offside.
