901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thoughts on polygon ? on: August 28, 2021, 02:02:41 PM
I was already into BSC chain and thought how different it could be but I'm glad to find that it's much better. Also tried Avalanche but none of the chains are as cheap as Polygon/matic. The fees are below 1 cents even at this moment and the adoption is great. A lot of people I know including myself are on the way of shifting from BSC chain to polygon. It's always good to diversify your options and polygon/matic has established itself as a good option. I assume the price would too rise with the use.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What risks will you get in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic? on: August 28, 2021, 12:55:12 PM
Unlike to some prediction, most people are saving during the covid times. Some people in hospitality business are still suffering but most of the people are back to their work or a new one. And with lower travel and other expenditures, people tend to have more cash on their hands. Hence the flood of capital into stocks market and crypto. And with current crackdown on private companies in China, Chinese are all into crypto now.
Crypto is one of the safest place you can invest right now. Just keep the money for your food with you. Don't invest more than you afford to lose. And you are all set to ride the crypto wagon.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: August 28, 2021, 12:25:07 PM
Tradingview provides the most indicators and charts for free. They also have options to look at strong buy or strong sell depending on different parameters. Another site I use to look at the current trend is cryptometer.io they have some live updates on buying and selling sentiments. And you also need to play with different buying and selling options with your exchange, most of the popular exchanges provides almost all of those features for free. Some even provide creation of different bots to play with your strategy.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins on: August 28, 2021, 07:48:11 AM
There were so many dead coins in my old ethereum wallets that I had to squeeze out anything and left it to clean the clutter. With lower fees of BSC chain and polygon, moving onto or creating several address for different purpose is easier. Most of the coins kept on decreasing in price as the developer left the project and got delisted from every exchange or are so less that the fees of moving them is larger. There are also so many useless coins sent for fun or scam coins with some loopholes in smartcontract. They are even abundant in newer torn and BSC chain ecosystems.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Fee Of BNB Is Increasing on: August 27, 2021, 06:25:46 PM
I don't know if it's related to gas fees of Ethereum but the fees on BSC network has certainly increased. I'm paying over a dollar for some actions or exchanges now. Still cheaper than Ethereum but a put off when you are trying to make a couple of dollars profit here and there. Polygon is still cheap. No idea if it too has rose recently as my wallet doesn't display decimals less than a cent. That means the fees are still below a cent.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking Shiba Inu [SHIB] tokens? on: August 27, 2021, 01:13:03 PM
The Shibaswap from the Shiba Inu team has an option to stake Shiba Inu coin for Bone which at the moment provides 111.5% APY on Shiba Inu token. The rate is fine according to a defi standards but the real reward would depend on the long term price of both Shiba Inu coin and Bone token. This was a stupid investment to start with but if you haven't sold still, the team is trying to make it more mainstream at the moment.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake token in wallet on: August 27, 2021, 09:32:02 AM
They seem to have a very good value if you import them into pancakeswap but the approval of the token doesn't goes through. A few who went through the claimed website through name or address has claimed of providing the approval which has drained their own balance rather than being able to exchange it. I don't have a proper proof but I didn't feel like trying it myself. There are different types of approvals and people should keep these as low as possible.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why such high fees in ETH? on: August 26, 2021, 12:37:45 PM
It were a bit low for some weeks. Went as low as 4 gwei. Now the fees are high, not as high as on the last bull but with the price rise, the fees on dollar has rose geometrically.
ETH is been nearly unusable for dapps and defis for quite a time now. Projects like BSC and Polygon are keeping the network popular. ETH still could be a good decentralized coin like bitcoin, but I don't see it being used as a utility token unless serious improvements are implemented.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SMARTCONTRACT TREND on: August 26, 2021, 02:18:18 AM
I believe all of them would be compatible to ETH2.0 as well. How cheaper and quicker the fully implemented ETH2.0 would decide whether people would prefer it or not. But we are always going to have options. There already are multiple of platforms and many of them are getting good attention. It's not that people would just move everything on one which has the cheaper fees. This diverse ecosystem within an ecosystem would be difficult to track and maintain but having multiple option would always benefit the users.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Foundation Returns After 6-Year Hiatus with Vitalik as advisor on: August 25, 2021, 07:36:45 PM
So Musk did this all just by few tweets! What a powerful personality he is! The crypto market is shaken by his decisions and now this new drama of dogecoin. I don't believe it!

We as a community claims to be decentralized and still react based on what one person thinks about it! What a shame!

Also great regrets will start flowing in shortly. I used to have 20k dogecoins but I have no clue where they are now! Lost opportunity and I am regretting!

I like to believe that Elon Musk is a decent person but his actions clearly suggests he along with some of his rich friends are in possession of a large amount of cheap dogecoins. The project was going in its way and as soon as the Elon has interest over it, now it has a different advisors and roadmaps ahead. They are even trying to change the algo which was not the plan for dogecoin. Clearly the devs are getting some financial help in moving towards a different strategy.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polygon chain transaction fee now, what does it's future predicts?? on: August 25, 2021, 11:25:19 AM
Years back, ETH transaction fee was a penny, now look at it and it's volatility. Shouldn't we focus on polygon chain now, make judicious use of it as for some developers before it turns out to be what we see in ETH transaction fee today. Though the traffic there is low but this how erc-20 chain also started. Nobody knows it's gonna be what it is today
Polygon chain has created a great buzz recently, when the problem of processing speed and fees is too high on the Ethereum platform, Polygon chain is solving it well.
Personally, I think it has created a position in the market and is one of the useful and convenient network solutions for users at the moment.

Just used the chain yesterday and was impressed. I've been using BSC a lot and one single interaction on BSC sometimes reaches over $1 at the moment. Transfers are above 50 cents most of the time. Withdrew matic from coinex (0.1 matic fee) to metamask, and everything after that was about feeless. Transactions and every type of interactions happened below 1 cent. The best thing is it gives you opportunity to try many things and settle on what works for you. Experimenting have really gone costly in BSC and is impossible in ETH native chain.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoins Be Cashed? on: August 25, 2021, 04:44:32 AM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that circulates freely, without any control or supervision from banks, governments, or anyone else. In contrast, bitcoin relies solely on cryptography and software between computers.

what if the government closes or does not allow the exchange of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies with the official currency in each country?  Huh

It would not be possible for every government around the world to crash down on bitcoin at once with strict measures. Not all government are autocratic and some of them even listen to their citizens.
The more the government tries to control, the more people would defy it. It may get difficult for people to speak out about trading the coins in public and it might be hard to get buyers and sellers but people would find their ways. Not every government has same level of influence and people would just move to an easier place to cashout or just ask people from easier jurisdiction to cash and wire them.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will there be a miracle of bitcoin to shift conventional currencies on: August 24, 2021, 11:01:12 PM
It's not just about bitcoin but the new ways and opportunities bitcoin has brought in international finance. Just an example on what level of disruption bitcoin and crypto has caused and where it's heading.
https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/currencies/crypto-to-replace-fiat-within-10-years-financial-execs-say-deloitte-2021-8

76% of finance industry executives suggested that crypto would replace fiat within 10 years. Bitcoin alone would not have created this situation. Bitcoin solves many problems and is a good overall currencies. But specific use currency would certainly excel on specific jobs. There are still a few problems left to be solved or with the rise and high degree adoption of crypto, the economy too would adopt to integrate it.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: August 24, 2021, 10:32:47 PM
I had previously traded matic for profit but yesterday was the first day I ever used it. And honestly I was surprised to see how quick and cheap it is.
Sent some USDT from Kucoin (huge 15 matic withdrawal fees) to Coinex (0.1 matic) and sent it to metamask wallet. Bought some polybunny. A similar transaction on BSC network would have cost me about $1 at the moment, it went through in matic chain just for $0.002 fees. I'm going to move a large chunk of my assets to matic now.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The other side of DApps: How Safe are DApps? on: August 24, 2021, 05:32:05 AM
It's scary out there. People should limit their interactions and permission with different dapps as low as possible. There are services that would let you manage permission like the one offered by beefy finance. Large APY doesn't always mean good. You should use a different wallet if you want to experiment with new defis.
And handling the wallets is another thing you should be cautious of. It is better to set and use a wallet that to hopping here and their with private keys or mnemonic phrases.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: August 23, 2021, 03:59:11 PM
MATIC is giving a good competition to BSC. With all people into MATIC and BSC, ETH is being falling in shadow but still the transaction fees are unbearably high. Don't know whether the current hype for MATIC platforms would last or not, people are jumping all in into matic platform as rewards there are higher during this initial phase. I was too ignoring that platform but now I realized that I can't afford to miss it. I maybe late but it's always better to put your coins in multiple platforms than one.

One of them would work for you. A few of them are dex.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most of you guys only care about partnerships & roadmaps? on: August 20, 2021, 02:16:39 PM
There are a great number of things to look when you are buying a coin and partnerships and roadmaps are two of them.
Partnerships are specially useful when you are trading coins for short period/on technical analysis while roadmaps are more important to fundamental traders.
A good partnership can boost the price for a short period and if you are quick enough, you'd get a good profit in a few days. Study of roadmap shows that how well the project is performing and what events they have passed through and what not. And if there's any significant event they are going through or missing soon.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of crypto wallet versus a physical wallet? on: August 20, 2021, 10:47:15 AM
The only pros of hardware wallet I can think of is security against some risks.
With multiple of services that provide multi level security and 2 or more keys to use the coins, the need for hardware wallet are decreasing. And if you don't have a backup of your coins in hardware wallet, a physical damage could lock you out of your coins. And creating an online backup would again make the use worthless. You can have multiple copies in hardware but they would be difficult to maintain and keep secure in multiple places.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a house in Dubai with DodgeCoin on: August 19, 2021, 05:16:37 PM
For sure, there will be many people who will want to buy real estate in Dubai at a discount, this once again proves that the cryptocurrency is gradually merging into the real sector, even in such an economically and touristically developed region.Very well thought out with the possibility of choosing a home buyer.
Dubai is a very developed and rich country with a very good economic sector so that whatever thing you want to implement will always be successful and also smooth without any obstacles, but on the other hand it is also very good for cryptocurrencies because it can bring new positive things for now.

Dubai is a place seeking to diversify its economy. They have tried a lot to attract expats and other wealthy people to live and work from Dubai. They had spent so much on real estate but the occupancy are quite low, that's why they are trying to attract rich people like crypto trades who could live and work from Dubai.
