621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin - PEPE on: August 12, 2023, 03:43:17 PM
Yes new coin is pepe but when launched the PEPE coin tand when listing exchange than pepe coins are good value but now pepe coin value it’s not good and i have already buy some pepe but still now 4-5X loss at my pepe so i'm waiting for recovery the pepe loss amount.

The thing with meme coins is they are extremely volatile and increases and decrease on hypes. Most of the time they are low but on certain hypes or news they go higher a multiple times. So, planning the buying and selling point is the key to success. The key is buy when it's low before the ultimate rise or wait till it settles to a lower average and accumulate.
I too missed the pepe train that's why I'm early into pepemo.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: August 11, 2023, 03:54:32 PM
Bank investors have more certainty because there capital is completely safe but they give 8-10% annual profits to the investors of per year. But it is comparatively less in terms of profits.

On the other hand you will get constant profits from crypto as if you are experienced in trading then daily profits is possible. Otherwise you can get profits by investing. However crypto investment puts your capital at greater risk (main point).

Bank rates are also nearer to the inflation. There might be years where in some countries the FD rate goes above 10% but than at those times, inflation is also high. Still 8-10% is a generous rate. There are less risks involved on saving on modern banks and the yield is also lower. Even at the rate of 12% compounded, your money would double in 6 years.
Another good investment available around the world are stocks, choosing a better one is easier and their returns are mostly better than banks.
And there's altcoins, with most of us are hoping for x2 or x3 in a couple of years and some adventurous of us x10 or x100.
The best strategy would be to diversify your investment between banks, stocks, real estates and crypto.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance indirectly manipulative by promoting Tokens? on: August 11, 2023, 12:59:47 PM
Hello there,

I don't know how exactly to phrase it, nor do I know if what I say is accurate; it's just how I see it. Binance has been frequently indirectly promoting newly launched tokens on their platform, either by airdropping them, by completing quizzes, through pre-sales, or by farming them through their Launchpad. What are your thoughts on this? Could we claim that it's some sort of manipulation since a large number of these tokens that are listed through one of the previously mentioned ways are pumped the moment they are launched in the market and start being traded? I don't have many examples right now because I've stopped tracking how many new tokens are being added on a weekly basis, but for instance, Binance is now offering to farm CyberConnect and SEI, which I'm also farming myself. There's no information about their price, nor can they be traded on the platform yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're hyped the moment they're launched.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe that it's a kind of manipulation and/or some sort of reward for Binance for promoting newly created tokens?

Binance is not a index or a regulating body. It's a profit driven business and it would certainly try anything to increase its profit. Be it luring naive investors and traders in buying some useless tokens. And yes binance directly and indirectly profits from it.
That's why every investors and traders should do their own research and consider every emails, web notifications and announcements from any of the exchanges as advertisements.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: August 10, 2023, 04:47:40 PM
All of the NFTs you know and love today, have their data stored their on centralized servers (images, video, etc). What is only stored on the Blockchain is just the properties of the NFT itself. While you're basically the "owner" of the NFT, you could lose technically lose it if the centralized server hosting the content of the NFT goes down.

So, what's the point of investing in NFTs if they can disappear in an instant? Unless all of the content is stored on the Blockchain itself, I don't see how NFTs will be able to last forever. Are there already solutions in the works that I'm not aware of? Please enlighten me on this. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

NFT as of known currently as some random picture that may or maynot have any value assigned to them and their price determined by the demand and supply won't last long. I don't even see much of its use as game assets or game freely traded game accessories. But they might exist on more business centric operation like proof of origin or supply chain involved. Non-fungible tokens could have a variety of uses as planned and demonstrated by many projects. Or something better we still are not aware of.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: look, look, what's this on: August 10, 2023, 02:56:53 PM

Some people say that the network signal is not good when you are away from home. If there are currencies that are traded offline, that would be great, and maybe there will be large-scale application scenarios for digital currencies! What do you think?

People would always find a way to manipulate the balance or fake the coins when transactions happen without confirmation from a reliable source. People would be double spending the same coins when they don't require online confirmation.
But again it doesn't mean the internet is the only way to confirm it. Some satellite technologies like BeiDou that sends and receives signals from device without internet can one day be used as a way of confirming transactions. But that would be a huge upfront investment and most probably centralized. And again as always people would keep trying to hack it's security to manipulate the transactions.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What factors contributed to the absence of price change after the Litecoin halvi on: August 08, 2023, 02:47:27 PM
Why didn't the Litecoin halving affect the price this time? In the past, halvings led to higher prices, but now there are no clear results. I'm puzzled about the reasons behind this. Please help me analyze.

Let's watch the previous halving of 2019 for reference to predict current halving results.
Litecoin halved in August 25, 2019.
Six months exact before the halving in February 5, 2019, the price of Litecoin was $34.
Three months before halving in May 5, 2019, the price was $78.
1 month ago it was $120.
On the day of halving, it was $95.
One months later $67.
And a few months after that, it reached as low as $33.
What we see from this is the price increases and is highest a couple of months before the halving and go through significant price loss after halving.
And that is exactly what we saw in 2023.
But what also is true is after two years of halving, it maintained a higher low resistance for rest of it's history.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: August 05, 2023, 02:04:59 PM
2024/25 will be my first bull run and I have been patiently buying and holding for over a year now.

Just wondering for those who were in the last bull run what it was like and how fast prices pump during the peak bull times?

Any advice on how to prepare when it comes to being ready to take profit?

When in bull run they move pretty fast. There are higher highs and lower highs but they are quicker and steeper. There are chances of early selling and bear trap but the bull is obvious. No one can be sure of when the bull would peak, so it would be a good idea to set a multiple sell orders most of them higher that your aimed profit. Anyone buying now can set for 20% at x2, another 20 at x3, 4,5 and 6. Its just and example and you should set them at our own strategy. Just try not trying to sell everything on the top.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Threat to XRP on: August 04, 2023, 06:17:17 AM
From a cryptocurrency market standpoint, XRP is showing strong performance and is anticipated to sustain this trend in the upcoming months. I firmly hold the belief that nothing is beyond the realm of possibility, hence, we should avoid prematurely dismissing its potential. Similar to SWIFT's recognition among people, XRP is also well-known among crypto enthusiasts. It's crucial to acknowledge that XRP is gaining favorable traction in the market, establishing a positive reputation, and striving for increased adoption. Let's grant XRP additional time, as I firmly believe it will witness a significant surge in the months ahead but replacing the bank swift system is quite an uphill task in my opinion
Agree.

AFAIK, Ripple came to prominence with their plans to replace swift for mode of transactions between banks. They even got into agreements with a few banks but this business part of Ripple didn't got much success. At the moment, Ripple is not in anyway a competitor to swift and that goes to any other crypto as well. Ripple has evolved much from that point (into XRP) but they again repeatedly failed to achieve most of their promises. There are better options even if our focus is just trading.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDCCOIN.ORG nft claiming to be 1250 usdc airdrop. Is this legit? on: August 02, 2023, 11:29:34 AM
The site is a clone of circle's usdc page but are in no way associated with them. If there were any such airdrop, it would have been stated on the circle website or social media which isn't. The domain was registered a week ago for a year time. Everything points out that this is just an attempt to take coins from your wallet. I tried to connect my freshly generated wallet and it just said I'm illegible, maybe they'll try to get your private key if they found any balance or randomly initiate scam transactions which you may approve accidentally.

631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China takeover as the leader in blockchain and start the new bull market? on: August 01, 2023, 06:46:03 AM
News update.

I am not quite certain if China's plans for their blockchain ambitions will pump Conflux and the other Chinese projects presently being traded in the cryptospace, however, I am quite certain that this will be one of the biggest storylines on the peak of next bull market. This is why as investors it might be good to begin your research on Chinese projects.

One of the next biggest pumps might be the pumps being caused by the new Chinese Ethereum storyline hehehe. It was Neo on 2017, my speculation is it will be on Coinflux on 2025.

In yet another example of the country’s commitment, China is moving forward with a new blockchain infrastructure plan for one of its largest cities. However, the city’s governor announced the plan and what it could mean in the short- and long-term future.

Specifically, China is set to develop a blockchain infrastructure in Shanghai by the year 2025. Nevertheless, the official government update stated that the plan is to “strengthen the application of blockchain in the real economy.” As well as using that application in other sectors as well.

Source https://watcher.guru/news/china-to-develop-blockchain-infrastructure-in-shanghai-by-2025

China have a restrictive sphere on crypto. Has made it difficult for people to hold and trade crypto if not illegal. That way China would not be able to contribute much to the global crypto aspiration but as you mentioned, Chinese local crypto could be a cash cow for we outsiders. As they have limited option, any of considered "Chinese" crypto would rise when the bull comes. I might keep a little stock of conflux on my next buy.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: August 01, 2023, 01:35:30 AM
Is DOGE Coin's Rise a Sign of the Future of Cryptocurrencies, or a Fleeting Internet Meme Phenomenon?

The later one, Just like stock markets, there's individuality to each cryptocurrency while there's herd mentality when it comes to bull and bear trend. But the meme trend, i.e. making the price of a coin rise without any prospects of future is more prominent on cryptocurrencies than on stocks. It's like gamestop rise but daily and on different coins. Dogecoin is still a good coin to predict for swings as it's one of the coin of interest of iconic billionaire Elon Musk. Any further xts from him anytime, the coin would jump a 20%.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really Burn helps Token in positive way? on: July 31, 2023, 11:56:54 AM
Hi,
Some How this Burn Buzz word stuck in my mind and i didn't see practical results so far in any successful token.

For example, Shiba Inu is burning tokens aggressively and is it really helping them?

May be i am noob here and happy to hear from experts!

I believe this topic will be useful for someone too!

Burn limits the number of tokens on circulation as well the final number of supply. A burn by limiting the tradable tokens should be able to increase the demand of the token making it's price expensive. But if the release of tokens are larger than the burn amount, it would keep on increasing the circulating coins hence the burn would have no effect.
Burn of Shiba Inu should yield a positive boost on price, if not at the moment, eventually it would have a positive effect.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: July 30, 2023, 01:57:22 PM
Tron surely is not the most innovative token or Justin sun not a brightest entrepreneur. But there's a reason why tron is still holding in top 10 coins by marketcap.
I once decided to quit on tron watching other platforms grow while tron having very few dapps and deleting it's resource for creating smart contracts from its official site.
But as tron updated on supporting solidity, it is all of sudden relevant again as a good alternative to the Ethereum networks which takes huge gas fees for transaction while tron on some case is fee less. I'm bullish on tron for the next bull.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about iris scanner scenario in worldcoin network? on: July 30, 2023, 10:11:57 AM
Worldcoin is in a weird category right now. It's founded by Sam Altman so it has some degree of legitimacy. The principle of it are noble. The most distinguished part of it and the most controversial one, the iris scanner is what making it both popular and controversial both at a time.
Personally, I don't think we are ready to give one of our most sensitive identification to a company we are not sure about has the necessary measures to secure the data and we can't be sure if they are used for the right cause. Worldcoin should have worked and shown their potent on the field of security and gained the trust before asking for something sensitive like an iris scan. Nevertheless, people are jumping into it and I might take my time to think till that orb travels to my part of world.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest Some Underrated potential altcoins for next bull run on: July 29, 2023, 03:53:18 PM
There are already some good coins mentioned, I'm not going to repeat them. IMO, one category that would shine on a bull run would be the utility tokens. As there would be thousands of new tokens being issued everyday, people got to have some coins for gas. Namely, Ethereum, BNB, matic, Solana, torn, cardano, avalanche, steem, algorand and likes. Another sector that could rise again would be the dapps as people would be doing more transactions, that would increase the price of uniswap, bsw, 1inch, pancakeswap and likewise tokens. So, these two sectors are my high priority.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: July 29, 2023, 01:37:12 PM
Before this year 2023, people were launching projects with whitepaper, roadmap and promote those projects with Their team. Memecoins were few but this year, situation is changed. Everybody is busy launching memecoins, no whitepaper, no roadmap. 8 projects are memecoin out of 10 projects.
It seems, this year will be full of memecoins. What do you think? Why memecoin launching is increasing so much in this year?

There are cheap copies for everything. And as some meme coins rose to fame, 100s of their cheap copies follows. But one thing that distinguish a good meme coin with just a meme coin for sake is meme coins do have a plan (a small roadmap). They might not have a white paper or a dedicated experts team to boast about but good meme coins would have plans to rise and stay at the top. Or live shibainu, they may keep on evolving on it. Overall, meme coins are much riskier genre of crypto and should be studied properly before investment.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you planning to accumulate for 2025 on: July 29, 2023, 05:52:03 AM
I have been gone for a while and now I am back, I am fully prepared to build some long term hold bags with the new trending utilities in the crypto space, I still somehow believe that Metaverse and A.I will generate big gains by 2025, what coins are you currently looking forward to accumulating? Out of Metaverse and Artificial intelligence is fine.

I'm cautious about jumping on something new. And most of my ventures among the hyped projects has incurred me losses.
The crypto market is at one of it's lower resistance and I believe we would have atleast one bull run by 2025. For that, I need to have sufficient amount of coins that I believe would be as important as they are now. So, largest portion of my portfolio would be allocated to the established coins. But I'm not going to sit idle, I'll be doing some risky investments here and their and doing some swing trades on the coins I hold.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UFO tokens on: July 28, 2023, 04:06:03 PM
It's funny to see how easy and Quick it is to issue coins on everyday buzz topics. And they heats up and cools as quick as the topic. These tokens whatever they may call themselves are essentially pump and dump projects. Some may earn from investing early but a larger number of people loses larger amount on them. Even selecting on a meme coin, we should prefer one which would have multiple pumps and dumps rather than one.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: July 28, 2023, 01:54:52 PM
I'm a certified meme coin hunter, and my radar is always on the lookout for those hidden gems that might become the next Pepe. Speaking of which, I remember stumbling upon Pepe on Twitter when the buzz and sentiment were off the charts, and I just couldn't resist aping in, and it paid off!

Twitter is just one of the treasure troves, but there are plenty of other ways to spot those potential success stories. So, my fellow crypto meme seekers, I want to hear your strategies. How do you go about discovering those up-and-coming meme coins before they skyrocket? Care to share your secret sauce?

As you said already, Twitter activity is what I too look first. Other metrics I consider are the overall presentation. The plans and roadmaps. Projects with low effort are highly unlikely to success. A well thought out project stands out when you visit it's site and look at the roadmap. Other thing to consider is the overall community and organic participation of the members.
Coinmarketcaps community tab too is now a good place to watch what people are talking about.
