801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, led by Changpeng Zhao, is taking a $200 million stake in Forbes on: February 11, 2022, 07:20:21 PM
Media is an important aspect of every business strategy. Media would help you to get good exposure to the general public. It's all about propaganda war and whose propaganda is more believable.
I do love binance and use it regularly but it is becoming what the crypto is fighting against. But in the process of binance making people use and love it, they'll too introduce people to the huge universe of crypto and what lies behind binance.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: February 10, 2022, 07:03:51 PM
For most of the games, approach is wrong from the start. Not only the game looks and mechanism are similar, they are more interested in making the people buy the tokens than actually making a playable game and a working earn and pay mechanism.
And with so much of new games everyday, people keep switching and the older ones keeps dying as the same people travels from one to another.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are you guys exploring for new coins, and monitoring the exicted? on: February 10, 2022, 05:49:22 PM
I stalk the ICO calendar of coinmarketcap, coingecko as well the event calendar to see what's new project and new events happening. I also view twitter accounts of exchanges, dex and audit companies to see what they've been doing. Sometimes a dex coin price goes up when they get good marks from audit. I also watch the large risers in coinmarketcap and where they were talked about the earlies. Most of the times its on twitter.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate? on: February 10, 2022, 04:29:14 PM
$Doge coin and shiba inu takes the lead in the past 24hrs as the most profitable coins after the last dip and here I am thinking it's over for meme coins, I understand that many hated meme coins for their own reasons but Im guessing that adding meme coins to list of your crypto portfolio for future is not a bad plan at all.

Dogecoin being the first meme coins is now a widely accepted crypto for merchant payments. ShibaInu, I still don't believe it's going such strong and they have a strong team that's trying to create a utility around the coin. I mean they both are not just meme right now. And with so much uncertainty and crypto market dominated by pumps and dumps, having popular coins like Dogecoin and ShibaInu in your portfolio is a safe bet.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you make money from meme coins? on: February 10, 2022, 04:14:39 PM
It's almost impossible to make money out of force coin as it seems to be a complete scam. Other meme coins though still being a scam, can be used to make money if you timed you entry and exit right. It's still a gamble and I won't categorize it as a trading strategy but a bet. With so much uncertainty surround crypto and market as general and meme coin having no specific nature other than just started as fun, there's no certain formula that works.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The solution is just there on: February 08, 2022, 04:10:39 PM
If coinmarketcap and coingecko can just start asking for team verification before listing a new project on their platforms I believe many will be safe from scammers, yes it's not their right to do since those platforms are just for listing available crypto projects but I heard they ask for criteria isn't it? They know how bad the numbers of scammers are growing, I think it's doable

There are many crypto projects that have anonymous founders and team. If you really want to participate in a new project with a known team, you can look for them in audit websites like certik and rogdoc. Though a know team is less likely to pull a scam, a team won't guarantee a success either. There would be less rugpull and vanishing with ICO funds but there could be other ways to scam.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is difference between HODL and staking? on: February 07, 2022, 03:42:05 PM
hii all
my question is what is difference between HODL and staking

Hodl means not to sell and keep holding. Staking is a way of getting interest/rewards for holding a specific coin. Staking was coined for POS coins but now applies to holding coins for profit in every platform and dapps wile hodl was coined by a fellow bitcointalk forum member about his drunk thoughts of you not losing your money unless you sell for loss. And that strategy has been proved beneficial a multiple of times in crypto.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana full of hype? on: February 06, 2022, 02:31:19 PM
Hypes are normal for crypto market. And solana is a growing network. Might not be as large as reaching $250+ a few months ago but still a coin with potential. People saw the potential and as a lot of them realized and a lot more followed the trend, it was overbought and overhyped leading to a problem in its network.  I think below $100 would still be a great price for people to buy solana.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Matic and BSC chain are now too popular not to include a crypto wallet on: February 06, 2022, 12:54:50 PM
I don't think that all crypto wallets supports available crypto chains out of the box e.g Matic and BSC, some wallets won't even allow you to add them like coinomi wallet, what wallets supports these chains out of the box?

Metamask, both extension and mobile app would do the job for you. The mobile app supports BSC, ETH and polygon while the extension could add any network just on a click and any tokens on another single click. You can set password and add as many accounts as you like. The only thing need to be careful is to secure your mnemonic phrase. They would also let you choose your fees with manual input. They also gets connected to dapps seamlessly. Trust wallet is another option but I find it slower than metamask for dapp uses.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Son of elon on: February 05, 2022, 02:48:35 PM
I love Elon. Sometimes he acts stupid and sometimes greedy but he's one of the most important person for the world at the moment.
I'm also a fan of Dex, NFTs and dapps in general.
But anything that uses the names of popular figures, people and events without a prior authorization are plain scams.
Don't look at anything that uses such names when the real person is not involved. These are of same categorizes as covid tokens. Virus of the market.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High ETH withdraw Fees, how to Solve on: February 05, 2022, 02:13:21 PM
I use Binance,  Kucoin etc crypto exchange for Trading, Binance use very often and I use Kucoin very rarely. But my main problem is high eth withdraw fees from Exchange to Personal wallet (MyEtherwallet). Have any crypto exchange with low withdraw fees?

I haven't tried it but withdrawing it on a coin that has zero fees on polygon or BSC network, exchanging it to Ethereum token, and bridging it Ethereum network maybe an option. Why exactly do you want to put the coins in myetherwallet on first place? There could be alternative way to buy the coin you want or the ICO you want to participate. Make transactions as few and as large as possible so that you'd not be paying on ethereum network multiple of times.

813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One of the largest centralized blockchain networks will be fail? on: January 24, 2022, 03:23:14 AM
Quote

1. Solana suffered from network overload due to bots spamming the network again this weekend.
2. The congestion prevented DeFi users from adjusting their collateralized positions as prices crashed, resulting in widespread liquidations.
3. Solana has faced similar issues on multiple occasions in recent months. It's aiming to resolve the issues in its new releases.

Many Defi and NFT projects have made Solana their base ground for the high gas fees of the Ethereum network.  The Solana network easily became everyone's first choice for high transaction speeds and nominal fees.  But Solana network has been in congestion issue several times since 2021.  While many thought that Solana would be a good alternative to Ether network or BSC Congestion problem but the same problem has arisen in Solana too.  Will one of the largest centralized blockchain networks finally be able to solve the problems of Eth Network and BSC or will it also appear as a failed project?

As we kept watching the market, what I realized is different utility networks can co-exist and prosper while competing with each other and one won't necessarily make another absolute. If a platform is to fail, they need to lag far behind the current trend. The problem with solana was it was hyped large and grew quickly than expected. It corrected itself after the network halt. All of these coins would keep facing challenges from the newcomers. For them to stay in business, they should be able to adapt and change their network.

815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Is The Safest Meme Coin To Invest In? on: January 14, 2022, 10:08:06 AM
New clone coins are far from safe as more than 90% becomes worthless after being traded freely. There's no absolute definition of meme coin but generally the coins founded as a joke or one that does not plans to have a value could be called a meme coin. 99% of current meme coins are scams built watching the success of Shiba Inu. Of you absolutely need to have a meme coin the most risk free is Dogecoin.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think BSC token with rewards in BNB are sustainable in the long term? on: January 13, 2022, 05:53:00 PM
Depends on high how the rate/ROI is and how the platform generates it. For any projects or coin to provide you a return, they should have a working earning model. Of the several ways you could stake to ear BNB, the one that comes in my mind first is staking NFT on biswap for interest in several currencies. That could be considered a feasible and long term model as the rate aren't excessively high and the original token/NFT does not depreciate from its value plus the project has an earning defi model.
On the other hand for any new coins that when staked provides rewards in BNB, we should also consider the depreciation of value of the said token as most new Defi coin plummets so does the yield just after they are launched.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: January 12, 2022, 03:22:33 PM
There is a big hype for all NFT & Gaming Tokens these days, I wonder how many person can actually say they own any art forms under, same for Game tokens.

I am sure there are way more buyers of the tokens than there are users!

My first experience with NFT was not good. Bought it at a high value and the value of the NFT plummeted so much that it was lesser than the fees involved in selling it. It was in a platform called copuppy, haven't checked them in a while as I don't expect it to rise. The next NFT I bought was on biswap, specifically Sky nobi, it cost me $1000 and I have just staked on their NFT staking platform and already got $300 back in 3 months. 10% ROI every month, I don't plan on doing anything different for some time now.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest best 5 exchanges that you experienced on: January 11, 2022, 06:41:15 PM
I'll list the 5 exchanges I've probably used the most in recent times, all of them centralized exchanges as Dex or Defis would need a different explanation.
Binance, is the go to exchange, cheaper than average withdrawal fees. Almost nothing breaks. The only downside is they have higher minimum deposit for many coins. Anything deposited below that would be gone.
2nd most used is kucoin, used it mostly for kcs, usdt lending and grid tradings recently. When it comes about grid trading, pionex provides large leverage if you want to take the risks and it's my 3rd largest used cex. Fourth would be coinex, for their cheaper fees, 0 withdrawal fees for BCH. The fifth one would be probit specially for IEOs. FTX provides the lowest trading fees among popular exchanges but I personally had a bad experience with it (my fault) and never used it again.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE ETHEREUM GAS FEES RIDICULOUSLY HIGH? on: January 10, 2022, 04:46:01 PM
WHY ARE ETHEREUM GAS FEES RIDICULOUSLY HIGH?

I was about making a withdrawal transaction some time ago on the ethereum chain, and the service fee was approximately the amount of the withdrawal I wanted to make.
Is this normal or was the platform dubious?

It's quite surprising to see current status of Ethereum. The team could have given up with the project as they now know it can't compete with the new utility networks.
It was supposed to be an utility token but it's fees are higher than bitcoin, a coin with much lower supply and much higher price. I don't see much reasons why people would keep choosing when they can't use it as utility platform nor they are as rare as bitcoins.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 07, 2022, 03:46:02 PM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?

Can't say it for sure but it's always good to have an strategy. Stop loss is good but you should consider several things and implement several different strategies if you want to profit from crypto. Not every crypto are brought for making short term trades. The overall trend of crypto has been bullish and the current market dip is not as large to call it a bullish trend rather it seem like a stable period after correction. Bitcoin has been to around 40K multiple times even after its all time high and that particular range seem to have a large resistance for its price.
