1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EHERUEM, THE BIG GAME THAT SPOILS THE SHOW. on: January 08, 2021, 02:44:17 PM
The crypto market is manipulative and it's the investors and gamblers that are playing with the prices rather than people genuinely interested on the use and technology. The price does not reflect the importance of Ethereum but it's a strategic pump and dump on a larger scale where the initial investors would profit while the ones that buys around the bubble burst would suffer.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do I still have a chance to get profit? on: January 08, 2021, 01:58:44 AM
I have a bunch of similar tokens that are still not dead but can't exchange it to some value. I just forget about them the most time and check back every 6 months whether they have been listed anywhere with a volume. I don't keep a high hope on them but checking them would be a good idea as you never know it might go through a pump by some manipulating groups.
1043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying right now ? on: January 07, 2021, 02:07:13 PM
I'm buying coins, freaking again and selling them. I'm still learning to trade, made some lost much larger and recovering again. The difficulty on making a trade on such volatile market is to find the right time to take profit or stop loss. What I can say for sure is bitcoin is much more inflated than what it's worth at least at the moment. Anyone buying now for long term would get hurt.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is FOMO why people interested in FOMO on: January 07, 2021, 11:45:58 AM
FOMO itself is not a bad thing if you know when to stop a loss. I do admit that bitcoin is already twice the price what I expected it to be and when I sold most of my balance but it hasn't stopped me from buying some more bitcoin to make profit on the rising market. One good way to make profit in short time is to keep buying and selling on a rising market.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now? on: January 07, 2021, 11:29:39 AM
Ripple had a highly manipulative week. Seems like a large bull trap to me. I don't think Ripple would be able to maintain this price unless they settle the issues out and gets relisted on popular exchanges. Not being able to trade on US based exchange is not the end but they'll miss a large manipulative market. If I were to buy, I'd wait for them to fall below 20 cents.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 05, 2021, 07:54:54 PM
Yes, you are right but the ICC seems to be blind to this issue. Teams such as West Indies, Pakistan and Sri Lanka were being regarded as some of the best test sides two decades ago. In just one or two decades the situation changed upside down. There is no single reason for the downfall of these teams. In each case, it is a combination of multiple factors. But it is really tragic, to see once powerful teams performing so poorly.
West Indies dominated world cricket during 70s  80s and 90s but after that they could not replicate the amount of success because they were not able to replicate the level of world class players they had, Pakistan had some good players in the late 80s and 90s but now they are just a shell of their past and they usually produced world class bowlers and they could not find quality bowlers and Sri Lanka started dominating in the mid 90s under Arjuna Ranatunga and it continued late in 2000s but now they are finding it hard to find quality players.

The reason for the team of West Indies and Pakistan being left behind are the hurdles on the development of cricket on the respective places. For West Indies, it were both team administrators as well as politics and influence of individual island nation of the cricket union that favored some players while troubled others. Pakistan too have problem in and out of the team management. And both of them have failed to increase or maintain the infrastructure specially that within west indies.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's your favorite dApp? on: January 05, 2021, 07:31:33 PM
I have used a number of dapps in the last few years but I don't have a favorite or where I stick as I move onto which fulfills my need and attracts my attention. I choose DEX based on price and fees while I too visit some of the gambling dapps. Among them, I have spent most of my time on wink, though the project is now slowing down (dying), it used to be a popular destination in early 2020. Among the platforms, The most popular dapps at the moment are from Tron, than from EOS and the least from Ethereum.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron alternative options .. on: January 05, 2021, 06:53:33 PM
Due to the high cost of ethereum in transactions, every time I make a withdrawal, I always use TRON, as the main choice because of the small cost.
what do you think, are you also doing the same thing?

If transaction fees and speed are the only concerns, Dogecoin and Litecoin are some widely accepted coins with low fees. Tron surely is a good option and there are some tron based tokens that are virtually free to transact and many exchanges even provides zero fees withdrawal. There are many other cheap and fast coins like nano but it's not that widely available in exchanges.
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi must be spinning in his grave. on: January 05, 2021, 06:31:32 PM
All that effort and bitcoin becomes just another tool for greedy money men to make money from.  This is the complete opposite of what he envisaged.  I hope you are all happy. Angry

But we are not sure what he envisaged for. Bitcoin could have been a experimental project for it's creator but with a limited supply and no way of increasing it, an energy intensive way of running the chain and a fee incentive to make that profitable, considering how well planned his mission was, I assume satoshi probably had the vision for such a future.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum : Its not too late on: January 05, 2021, 02:22:24 AM
Surely many whales have now shifted from bitcoin to Ethereum. Technical analysis of Ethereum shows, its going bullish at the moment. As bitcoin hit it's all time high, I believe ETH would receive its too this year, but it could be not as large in ratio as bitcoin and would be for a short time. I assume anything around 1500 is a feasible target for ETH holders.
1051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: January 04, 2021, 06:27:10 PM
Selling most of my coins for 18K was one of the regret I have. I was sure about the incoming bull run but didn't had patience to wait all through. The prices are still confusing, the 34K seems to be the top spike at the graph but even this price fall could be a bear trap from whales to pump the prices to a newer high. It's better for me to wait and see than to risk of losing the hard earned profit.
1052  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in another Bubble? when will it Burst on: January 03, 2021, 04:29:53 PM
I was just hearing the interview of Winklevoss brothers and they tried to explain that current bull run is a bit different from the last one, mostly because this is mostly catalized by institutional investors who are much slower and predictable. They suggest, even if it bursts, it would could stick around 20K. This again would be 50% less if the price reach 40K, but would still be on higher side of average price for bitcoin.
1053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: January 03, 2021, 02:05:41 PM
BItcoin is making and breaking records. I and many other were wrong to assume bitcoin would fall after breaking 21K and a bit higher as the price is now more than multiplied 7 times in price in last 10 months. It have crossed 34.5K and not sure how high it would go. But people are going to remember bitcoin and 2021 for a long time.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Happening? $31K on: January 02, 2021, 03:06:21 PM
This is a temporary rise. You can jump in to take some profit on the bull run but you should also set a stop loss limit as price could turn sharply in any direction. But if you are planning of buying and holding bitcoin for long term profit, I don't think it's a right time to collect bitcoin. For day traders, the market is bullish and all the indicators suggesting strong buy, 33K is imminent.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: XRP TRADING SUSPENDED on: January 02, 2021, 07:10:30 AM
At first XRP was good but now I don't know why many exchanges are de-listing XRP. But I had to hold some XRP but sold some before. I still have some XRP. Will I sell these coins now? There are a lot of big brothers here, they must give me the right advice, I hope you will find it easier for me.

Personally I believe it's better to sell your coins when you have a price as Ripple is going to have a rough road ahead. Though this blow won't kill it but a large part of Ripple holders and traders lies on the group that would be mostly affected by the ban of US citizens for trading Ripple on centralized exchanges. There are no solid P2P and decentralized solution for Ripple and they have no specific niche of use.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you trust social media influencers on cryptocurrencies. on: January 02, 2021, 06:29:15 AM
In my experience, everyone here are trying to make money when it comes to influencing people about crypto. There are some neutral people but they speak what everybody knows. The secret of being successful on crypto market is being able to predict the moves of whales and manipulators. You don't need to be 100% right, you just need to be more right than wrong.
1057  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: January 02, 2021, 05:56:24 AM
I would not judge anyone just yet. There are many people we thought idiots making fortune with bitcoin.
Personally, I don't think 25K+ is a good buy price for long time holding. But for short term traders and day traders, no resistance and no support market are good for people who profit on price changes. I too bought BTC for 28500 and sold at 29500 (today) and bought it again at 29400 while the price is now over 29600.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO has started for Bitcoin on: January 02, 2021, 05:10:31 AM
FOMO made me buy bitcoin at 28000 and sold them at 29500 and again made me buy for 29400 and I'm not regretting yet.
Though I should be clear that I'm not playing with all my money here. 80% of my cryopto balance now resides as stable coin while I'm betting the rest 20% for a price of 31K for bitcoin. And to add up, I have zero altcoin balance at the moment.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins will do best in 2021? on: January 01, 2021, 02:55:27 PM
It''s a hard thing to predict but with what's happening with them right now, I'm bullish for Ethereum and Tron. Ethereum's new staking option and it's change to POS has brought large interest towards this coin while tron is starting to take a lead on decentralized gambling apps and smart contracts. EOS too had been quite active in 2020 while monero would keep leading the non centralized payments.
