441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 21, 2024, 05:58:51 PM
Leverkusen is crushing it this season, right? Being seven points ahead with a game in hand over Bayern is no small task. Their competition consistency is amazing. I believe they can sustain their lead. Though their meeting with Bayern is essential, Im banking on Leverkusen to win given their recent form. Their stability and determination are better than Dortmund last season.
I expected Bayern Munic to lose match but never to Werder Bremen even at home. This is an embarrassing defeat. Bayern Munic has just enriched the bookies with my money and those of millions of others. Well, that is why it is called gambling, we lose sometimes and win sometimes. I will get it back but I will remove Bayern Munic from my list henceforth. I'm not angry I lost money because of them, I just love the fact that the loss now made the journey easier for Bayern Leverkusen,  at least we shall see some variety in the German league.

The winning by W. Bremen today is another proof that nothing is sure in gambling, hence the need to manage the finances adequately so we don't get depressed due to bankruptcy.  I'm glad I was able to resist the urge of going all in on that match.

Harry Kane is under pressure, right? He joins Bayern Munich with high expectations, given his reputation. Its harsh, but if he doesn't win the league or UCL this season, the talk will continue. Though difficult, this is the game at this level.
It is unfortunate that Harry Kane started with no little luck on his side. He is such a great player that the entire Totenham was built around him, the reason they gave not fully recovered from his departure.  I just hope things will turn out better for him. This is the same thing that is happening to Robert Lewandowski in Barcelona.

It was an unfortunate result for Munich as they were the better team on every expects except the scoring. There are many things that sounds unreal. It was the first defeat for Byren Munich this season in Bundesliga.
This was indeed a happy moment for Leverkusen and xabi as the further solidifies their chances of winning the bundesliga for the first time. Byren have won the league a good number of times and they were performing not so good in the last two seasons and created much controversies with the sacking of coach and manager. It would be good to see a new team with much tactical gameplay win for this season.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 21, 2024, 05:21:03 PM
Once again Almeria is a very troublesome club for a top club, previously Girona had to settle for a draw, and now Real Madrid are forced to trail by 2 goals before they can equalize in the second half. Real Madrid did control the game, but Almeria managed to make Real Madrid difficult, especially in the first half. In fact, they could have taken better advantage of opportunities, practically they had no chances in the first half apart from 2 opportunities which they immediately converted into goals.
In less than 10 minutes the match was over, the score was still tied at 2-2. Real Madrid continues to look for ways to dismantle the Almeria defnse in search of 1 additional goal to enable them to win. It's not easy because Almeria is now focusing on defense to maintain their lead, will Real Madrid suffer the same fate as Girona? if yes it is an advantage for Girona.

An exciting 17 minutes of injury time. Real Madrid on full attack as Almeria defends with all they can. Real Madrid fans were so much upset at the end of first half but Real Madrid is a team that can turn things over anytime. A penalty and an goal from Vinicius, they were back in game.
And it was Carvajal that scored the winning goal, a draw against the, in line for relegation team of Almeria would have been very bad thing for Real Madrid, An easy 1 point lost at home ground. They finally saved their pride on injury time santiago bernabeu. It's one of the most memorable comeback for Real Madrid this season.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst situation you're in that you regret that you learn about gambling on: January 21, 2024, 04:51:01 PM
Learning anything has nothing to do with using it in a wrong way so I'd not say that I regret learning gambling but there were times where I was in a nervous breakdown when I lost 5 digit sum in gambling due to rage betting.
In a certain day, I was gambling causally and lost everything I had on a site, I moved to next, loss again. Started going all in on all sites I had balance, total loss. Took out the bankroll investment, lost it all, Emptied my crypto wallet, lost them all, deposited my bank savings on an exchange to get coins and gambled it all.
The experience of loosing it all was devastating, I could do anything, felt like it was all a dream, tried sleeping and waking up to see if its not real. I had a nervous breakdown, anxiety for weeks. I could have died of the depression if there were not this one person who knew what I was going with and forced me to tell what was bothering me. And when I was forced to talk about it, the person helped me to get back to reality. Those were really dark days.

The New Zealand under 19 team has given a really big total for the Nepal under 19 team to chase. And to be honest I don't think Nepal under 19 will actually be able to chase the target successfully. The target is 303 and Nepal has not even reached 50 so far and they have already lost two wickets. 11 overs have been played in the second innings. And the required run rate for Nepal is already over 6.51. I do not think they are winning this match. The only thing to see now is by how much of a difference New Zealand will win this match.
Nepal U19 team has already completed 50 runs and they are currently managing 82 runs for three wickets in 16.4 overs. However, there is a doubt whether Nepal U19 team can win against New Zealand U19 team in today's match.New Zealand Under 19 batting first in today's match made a huge score of 303 runs.Nepal under 19 team is batting at the target of 303 runs. Nepal U19 still need 221 runs in 33 overs to win. Meanwhile Nepal Under 19 team has lost another wicket i.e. they have now lost four wickets for 82 runs in 17 overs.

Nepal Indeed put on a good score. They never actually were in shape for chasing the score but as the commenters pointed out being the third place would be the target for both Nepal and Afghanistan and Nepal currently have a better run rate. Top three teams would  qualify for the super six.
But again the position would mostly be decided when the two teams actually meet. The two batsmen for New Zealand Reddy and Nepal, Kumal did showed some talent that might get them to the senior team.

447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaMask's Secret Project Could Shake Up How Ethereum Works on: January 18, 2024, 02:06:10 AM
This means that MetaMask becomes a trading tool. With such a design, it will be able to replace trading platforms and transfer bridges.
Some features are not what they may seem to us because this feature cannot be fully implemented since MetaMask verifies these transactions in connection with other applications that always provide decentralized trading services.

Trading offers on decentralized applications are available according to the volume of liquidity with the least possible assumption of data manipulation. However, this did not succeed in increasing its users or demand for it.
We don't know yet that their trading feature will require the least data but they said they are working with third-party companies so it's more like an exchange entity where all the user data will be shared and I don't think it can be a decentralized trading tool to its full extend even if they want to because governments are going after the exchanges in recent times so if metamask becomes trading tool then they will be no exception to the Feds.

It would most likely aggregate data from a large number of dex and choose the best route to have quicker and cheaper transaction. There are always slight difference on what each dex offers due to the buying selling trend and looking for the best rate to utilize the arbitrage.
It would not be the first thing to do so, I have seen such use of different dex to get optimal results in other aggregators like dexview. This way user are going to save some on commission fees.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 17, 2024, 05:14:00 PM
I can't understand how Girona played in week 20 and how they ended up with a draw. They didn't play like they usually do and Almeria were successful in their strategy. The team that has been strong and even they can beat Barcelona and also Atletico Madrid but they can't beat Almeria who are at the bottom of the table.
Indeed, in this case we cannot predict because anything can happen. No matter how big the difference between the teams playing, the difference is not a guarantee that the strongest team will win. Girona have shown us that.
They didn't play as aggressively as usual, it seemed like they lost their touch and couldn't develop the game. Apart from the one red card that Girona received, but before the red card was issued by the referee, for 80 minutes they did not play well and seemed confused about what to do.
Yes Almeria were very successful in this match, although they did not beat Girona but they managed to make Girona unable to do anything to steal 3 points from their own home.
Now this is the real worry, yes they could decline for a long time unable to rise, so that other clubs can shift them. Real Madrid are at an advantage, because although they are still below Girona, they still have 1 game ahead and they can shift Girona at the top of the table.

This is the reason why many users doubt that Girona will be able to maintain its consistency until the end of the season. They are not a big club despite their team's good performance in the first half of the season, so they are not ready to be a team that can fight for the title. Girona's goal this season is to play as well as possible, if they qualify for the Champions League or Europa League, then that is a bonus really worth celebrating.

Real Madrid certainly benefited after Girona only managed to get 1 point in their last match. Real Madrid can create a points gap with Girona and they will be safe at the top of the standings for a while. Until the end of the season it is still uncertain because many things will definitely happen between these teams.

It's already a win for Girona to achieve this level of success in La liga, They don't have a long history on the top tier of La liga and they have achieved what they  have now is due to the clever and efficient construction of team with the increased funding. Tho coach Michel Sanchez is doing pretty well and giving in a vibe of Xabi Alonso. With not a star filled in the team, they have worked out to create more of a balanced and synchronized team than any other.
I don't think they're going to be a match to Real Madrid but they'll sure would qualify for the next Champions league.

450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 16, 2024, 07:23:21 PM
Too bad that 2 ex grandslam winners are already out but Murray should have called it a day about 2 years ago. It must be for the love of the sport that he keeps on trying as money is no real issue for him. To be honest, I did expect that Murray would have won this match but winning a grand slam is not possible for him anymore.
Now he is 36 years old with having good career behind him but sadly due to injury he was not able to achieve things which he deserves but still a good player with good spirit and sportsmanship in this game he was completely outclass by opponent just because of this he announces may be this is his last year in professional tennis which is good decision because after injury he has done good even not able to do anything good but still we can say he tries his best not for money but for his dedication for the game.

Wawrinka is also veteran he is also trying his best for the improvement but sadly now it's time for him to call up because things are going not favourable for him now.

With two hip surgeries, it was thought murray would never be back to tennis but he came back after years leaving a significant presence. It would be wiser for him to take a break now.
Djokovic who too is 36 is still in great form and now has less and less competition.

Except this forum, I believe subreddit of specific coins have better communities while the discussion are also over X (twitter). Telegram too can be a platform for users to share their experience but there's too much scam attempts.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 16, 2024, 07:04:22 PM
I got hold of bitcoin as early as 2012. And selling bitcoin at that time is one of my most regrettable financial decision.
I don't want to do the same again with both bitcoin and the alts. Hold till the bull.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise and Fall of ICOs: Lessons Learned on: January 16, 2024, 04:45:28 PM
Hey crypto mates! Let's take a stroll down memory lane and chat about the wild ride of ICOs – the good, the bad, and the "what-were-we-thinking" moments. Remember those ICO mania days when every token seemed like a golden ticket? Fast forward to Reality Check City.

Share your war stories, victories, and facepalms. What lessons did you learn from the ICO rollercoaster? Maybe your crystal ball predicted the next big thing, or perhaps you've got scars to prove otherwise. No shame, we've all been there!

ICO when firstly introduced were super hyped and every one just jumped in raising the price of the ICOed coin multiple of times. But as the number of platforms doing the ICOs and the number of ICOs increased, there was no longer money for every of them, so a lot of them failed even to sustain pre-ICO prices. This period of lackluster after the hype made many people stop trusting in ICO.
But ICO are not dead, even today good ICO from reliable projects are yielding good profits for early investors and they still are a huge thing in crypto.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to promote information about projects? on: January 16, 2024, 02:30:25 AM
There are people here on the forum that handles the overall advertisement on Facebook, Twitter, Yotube, Tiktok, Telegram and all social media that you want for a fee. You might need to provide them with details and what your expectation are and they'll provide you with a curated package. With them you can also run a signature campaign in this forum as this forum has the largest concentration of targeted users. Other than that, there are crypto based advertising platforms which displays ad on crypto related site, in some you can also bet for slots on specific sites.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency do you prefer to use for BTC/LTC/ETH transactions? on: January 15, 2024, 01:42:51 AM
LTC had been my goto coin for over a year now. They have one of the lowest fees, Less than 1 cents and the transaction are quick.
It's amazing how we still can transfer large amount of value quickly spending less than a cent. Compare that to a BTC transaction which takes over $10.
LTC is accepted almost everywhere. The 2nd most used coin specially transferring in and among defi are BNB and BSC tokens. They take about 10 cents on average to move.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: January 15, 2024, 01:02:51 AM
Start of January is like blessing for crypto market. Crypto market start pumping from last few months but in January, it speeds up. Even Good news like Bitcoin ETFs get approved a days ago. But suddenly market gets unpredictable. I mean it went to correction mode, and then get recovered. then dump again And now trying to pump. Situation is confusing. So what are you doing now?

1 Buy Altcoins from Dip
2 Selling altcoins, to buy more cheap during halving
3 Doing DCA Only
4 just watching the market like me

I'm actively looking for coins to invest in, that would yield me good profit in the future. The market is stabilized after an increase and this could be the plateau before the peak.
I made a small fortune on Solana and I'm trying to find the next Solana. I already have investment on 4 of popular coins but that too is not as diversified as I want it to be. I've been jumping between coins rapidly in order to find those which could give more profit and that's one of my bad habit I want to improve.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasoning before investing can save you from lose on: January 14, 2024, 06:15:39 PM
Some investors are ready to invest on any project they come across just because they really want to make profit and some of this projects are considered to be a scam project which people invest reasonable amount of money. It is very painful when money is invested in this project and they end up becoming a failed one. I think good reasoning before investing will really help investors from losing much money about projects they do not know about much.  Investors needs to ask themselves before investing  "what if I lose my money investing it in this project? I think this question can help  people to invest with the amount they can afford to lose or not to invest at all on project very not sure about.

Investing without any reasoning can just make one to invest without considering the risk and the probability of making lose or making gain from the investment.

Some project may make you feel this is the ultimate way to succeed. Or a new defi might be providing 1% per day staking rewards on most pair. Whatever and however attractive the proposition may be, never invest all your money on one or a few places. Remember to use diversification as a strict rule than a matter of preference. This discipline and if you are a trader more than an investor than discipline of sticking to your strategy of selling point and stop loss are very important. Loss are not exception but you should be able to manage them with stop loss and diversification.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world soon become tired of the US dollar? on: January 14, 2024, 04:52:37 PM
The world needs larger degree of polarity to get rid of US dollar which seem more possible now than ever.
US has created a rigged financial system around the world that benefits itself with IMF and World Bank. In contemporary time, they are so desperate about getting money without doing any hardwork that they repeatedly disobeys the rule they have created.
This is leading to a multipolar world order where the financial treaties and valuation occurs bilaterally  or regionally. Not a currency would be accepted everywhere. And in those time of uncertainty, crypto would bridge the economies wherever it can.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in percentage as a risk strategy. on: January 13, 2024, 04:59:00 PM
There are various of fundamental and analytical signals that can increase your predictions to more than luck. And even when you are right for 80% of time, you should be able to manage risk for the rest 20%. It's where stop loss comes into action.

Theoretically, when you feel some coin has potential to rise in short term (trading mindset) due to it's fundamentals and analytical signals, you invest some money say at $100 a piece. You need to set price where you are willing to take a profit. Let, I'm willing to sell it at least 32% profit. So, I'd place a sell order at $132. But I also need to make sure I don't incur much loss, so I set a stop loss at a loss of 16%, i.e. at $84.
This way, even if I'm right on only 50% of my calculated guesses, I'd still be 8% in profit.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik Buterin's Financial Advice on: January 13, 2024, 04:09:57 PM
The rules stated are similar to what I've been following. I'm on for diversification. I have diversified my savings on crypto and stocks. Real estate is in my list but they are too expensive for me at the moment. Among Crypto, I have a fair degree of diversification and I plan to do more as my investment increases.

Saving is where I'm struggling at the moment. The charm of crypto and stocks is so big that I can't have fiat in my saving account. I need to improve in it. Even my partner suggest me to have a good fiat saving but I'm afraid that inflation could decrease its value.

I'd say my portfolio is balanced. Not too boring, not too risky.

I'm not using leverage at the moment. Tried some leveraged grid trading and it didn't went well.
