1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoin be the next flashpoint In the cryptocurrency world? on: April 20, 2021, 05:44:54 AM

Stablecoin is not only a means of payment in cryptocurrency, but also a bridge between the financial property and the use property of the token.

The biggest stablecoin is the USDT for Tether, but I'm not bullish on it because it doesn't have a real entity.
The most successful one in my opinion so far is DAI, but it still has a lot of problems. I expect to see stablecoin with different solutions.

Standard Protocol is an innovative stablecoin project that I have seen recently.
Let's discuss with anyone who is also concerned about stablecoin.

Stablecoins are already the flashpoint in crypto world. You don't need to be bullish or bearish on stablecoins cause they are fixed to fiat coins which are relatively highly stable.

How can you have a healthy discussion while you are still doubting stable tokens that really have a good rating in crypto (USDT), even on the other hand you have more confidence in stable DAI tokens which you think there are still many obstacles, then why do you say that tokens Is DAI the most successful of the other stable tokens?

You should be cautious about everything that involves your money. And crypto market is still very primitive and unregulated field.
For keeping your coins as stablecoin for a long time, I'd prefer an audited coin which has full collateral backing. For trading, both USDT and DAI are fine.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum Classic used for something? on: April 19, 2021, 10:46:44 PM
There were/are some dapps, games and Defi on ETCs own blockchain (https://ethereumclassic.org/ecosystem/apps-and-protocols) but they are not as popular or rather fell from spotlight when the attack and subsequent hassle in transaction and trade of ETC took place. Exchanges still requires a large number of confirmations for transacting it. ETC did rose recently but was still short of all time high it reached in 2017.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to appreciate the DIP. on: April 19, 2021, 06:16:35 AM
Rapid dips and subsequent rise are most valuable for grid traders and it also gives a window for investors to buy coins cheap. The subsequent price trend of bitcoin and cryptos mostly have been on a rise. And there's no long term risk on buying on a falling market. Everytime bitcoin fell in last 4 months, it has rose to a new all time high. Considering this, I have made a bet with margin on bitcoin to reach 65K. Hope it won't turn into a bad investment.

1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB price on: April 10, 2021, 04:33:46 PM
One of the reason why BNB is booming is due to the increase in number of tokens on binance smart chain. I needed to buy BNB today for buying a token I wanted from pancakeswap. The transaction speed are fine but the fees much higher than they used to be. $2.5 with a price of $500 seems fine in comparison to Ethereum fees but people would expect much better performance and cheaper fees from BNB.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance raised withdrawal fees again? on: April 09, 2021, 03:21:24 PM
Binance USDT trc-20 fee was increased 1$ in 2 months before can't remembering accurate date, i think it's still lower and pair withdrawal fee in the other exchanges, can you recommend me if any exchange is lower than this. BUSD fee is 0 it's binance promotion, will provide lower fee or free and it's their advantages to increase customers.

Most of the exchanges I've been using seems to have started taking a rather high fee for TRC20 USDT withdrawal to $1. Still exchanges like coinex have 0.3 USDT fees, I think the exchanges too want to get a larger profit when there much more activity in crypto markets. But even with $1 fees, Binance USDT's withdrawal are one of the slowest compared to other exchanges.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which NFTs are worth the investment? on: April 09, 2021, 06:23:16 AM
I jumped into Alice thinking it would be the next big thing in NFT and that was a bad decision. I took 50% loss on my investment and sold at loss. After that I'm reluctant to look at NFT's while some of my other investment are yielding good profit. One of my friend introduced me with Sand (Sandbox) last night and I need to do some more research on it before investing. If anyone has any better options please suggest.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Binance raised withdrawal fees again? on: April 09, 2021, 04:27:49 AM
The withdrawal fees were changed from 0 to 0.2 a month ago for the withdrawal of USDT as TRC20. I went with withdrawing some USDT from binance to Kucoin to buy some velo but the withdrawal fees taken were $1. It's absurd how much binance is charging for withdrawal when the fees from blockchain are most probably free for binance as they are super representative on tron blockchain.
I use binance for it's cheaper transaction fees but these these unnecessary withdrawal fees are going to be a push factor as newer exchanges too are coming with aggressive promotions.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum performance, what do you think? on: April 07, 2021, 05:04:24 PM
I think that Ethereum's performance is much, much better than many other projects.
However, the main problem in my opinion is scalability. Look at the performance of half a cadot, doesn't it look like anything?

ETH is good in many aspects. The only problem is the high gas fees. That fee's will actually drain your earnings.

There have been talks of improving the blockchain through gradual progression to POS. But the ultimate putdown on Ethereum more than the speed is fees, specially when you are interacting with a token. Like Tron energy, Ethereum needs to address this probem by implementing some ways to make tokens transaction gas free. Till than, new projects and people would keep on moving to competitive platform while Ethereum remains a manipulative coin.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its not so Easy to lose in crypto trading and btc on: April 07, 2021, 04:24:45 PM
And when you are on margin/leverage or buying timed shorts and longs. They do increase the chances for huge profit but are likely to lose you your money tha while investing with you own money. When you buy a coin with your own money, you would be more comfortable while you are taking loses as you know, the prices could rise some day and you just needs to hold on till that. That won't be possible if you are trading with borrowed funds.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT keeps getting better on: April 07, 2021, 04:20:14 PM
USDT has became so large that noone could ignore it. The largest boost in my opinion came after it moving to tron blockchain. When the gas fees were high, ETH based stable coins like USDC and TUSD were nearly unusable while USDT provided a free transfer between exchanges and wallets. I try my best to not hold USDT and prefer BUSD but BUSD has one of the lowest coverage outside of Binance and you are left with no options.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoins as a gift? on: April 07, 2021, 04:08:10 PM
It depends on how well she knows about bitcoin and how to use it. It may seem fascinating to you as a bitcoin holder to gift someone with bitcoins but could be more awkward for anyone to accept huge amount of bitcoins as a gift who doesn't have used bitcoin or doesn't have a good sense of its use. You could just exchange your coins and buy her a good car or a house or something you feel she'd be happy with. That would be a more practical solution.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRX and XRP are doing well on: April 07, 2021, 02:47:29 PM
That's why it's much better to buy and hold onto a promising coin. I believed in Tron and once had a good stockpile but my lack of patience made me hop between coins and I ultimately missed the pump of Tron. Just with sear luck, I held onto some win tokens frozen in wink which made me a decent profit. BTT was also another coin I held once but didn't continued holding it.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge traded by AI? on: April 07, 2021, 02:02:10 PM
With so much direct involvement and interest in crypto. It's highly probable that Elon musk is a large trader and hodler. And with the resources and talents he have, he could make the most efficient bot to trade and make profit even if it needs manipulating the whole market. With his capital, he could be a whale that's making huge profits and Elon Musk could anonymously be the richest person in the world.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on Binance coin (BNB). on: April 06, 2021, 11:53:01 PM
BNB is quite useful when I trade on Binance. And when people are trading in huge amounts, it does not makes much sense what price the coin is as the fees discount are converted and carried out in USD value. i.e. whatever the price, if you are buying small amounts of BNB to get a 25% of fee reduction, you are still in profit. But for long term buy and hold, I feel BNB is overvalued at the moment.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not wrap your Bitcoins? on: April 06, 2021, 11:29:44 PM
If I planned to buy and hold some bitcoin for long term, I'd surely wrap them. They are well backed and there are no risks of wbtc being undervalued compared to BTC. But I am not going to shift just for the yield as it's still much lower. At current bullish time, altcoins trading have came as a better way to get a profit form crypto.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any chat rooms about altcoins?? on: April 06, 2021, 10:16:23 AM
I too sometimes feel it's something we miss. A chat room with like minded crypto enthusiasts.
I have used many not so specific chat rooms available when I'm in need of knowing something or just spreading happiness and experience.
You may find me chatting randomly in chat rooms of gambling sites, microwallets and even in Youtube live videos about crypto.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile wallet for BNB? on: April 06, 2021, 12:33:35 AM
I've decided to switch from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain due to the ever-rising "gas" fees on the Blockchain. After all, BNB is extremely fast, cheap, and convenient for "De-Fi". I'm deeply interested to know which are the best wallets available for storing BNB on a mobile device. I don't plan to put large amounts of BNB on mobile due to security reasons. But I do plan to use my BNB on a daily basis for dApps like PancakeSwap and BSCSwap. A mobile wallet with a built-in dApp browser would be nice.

Any suggestions, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
There are plenty of good mobile wallet for BNB and one of the most recommended wallet is TRUST wallet knowing that its more accessible and less hassle to use. You can also try to use the newly development Safepal or the Maiar wallet.

I needed to have a binance smart chain wallet for the bounty I'm participating in. Searched for it and the most promising option came out to be the Trust mobile wallet. There were no good and friendly wallets for PCs. Trust wallet was on my phone for some time and it was easy to start with.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt season NOw on: April 05, 2021, 10:05:58 AM
Crypto market has been unpredictive but the general trend seems to be the price growing for the last 10 years. I personally made a lot of mistakes buying and selling coins at wrong time. The best and risk free strategy would be to buy a promising coin and hold till you are in good profit. Jumping coins and investing in a less known coins are not a great idea.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 10x projects picked for 2021 on: April 05, 2021, 09:18:40 AM
Had some Tron. Just sold it too early and failed to capitalize on the current rise. KIN is having a good price pump today. It's a great time to take profit while the token itself is a token of a business and an online messaging app. That's a very competitive market to prosper. I don't have high hopes with SIA, they have been here for quite a time but couldn't produce a useable service. Easy and UNI are surely promising but we need to wait for the price to settle.
