This coin uses the scrypt algo, so any litecoin tutorial will give you and idea of what to do.
Why do I have to add my username and password and the port and all that in my wallet .conf file ? I know miner must be 127.0.0.1 because that is the local computer IP address. Why must it be in my wallet .conf too. Because when you set up your miner you need a user and password. If you are just using it to sync (the addnodes), don't worry about it. it is simply never going to sync, there are too many issues on the various chains, i have given it more than enough time and at the same time, the chain is not even moving, it is not going to happen for this wallet Chain is moving and hasn't conflicted any coins for a while now. Thanks for the answers friend .. And like i see you deeply understanding this ... For me is hard because i never use coin with wallet like this and i never mine coin i dont have asic miner high gpu nothing. About the mining we will talk later now i need to know how to sync my wallet right... Those of you trying to solo mine, be aware that the blockchain isn't totally stable. There have been lots of forks in the chain. You'll be mining along racking up blocks and poof they all are gone.
Best bet is wait for someone to put up a pool, even better wait for the DEV to put up some perm nodes.

I love all the newbie accounts that signed up for free money and are now wondering when they are going be able to become rich!! Pages and pages of people trying to make the wallet work.
I realize we were all newbies once, but damn people do some homework!! Google is your friend!! Look at any altcoin, they all work the same (well most of them). Learn how the wallet works, how to make a config file and what it does. Just don't come here and bitch!!

I am unable to find a peepcoin pool, and I failed to solo mine this coin.
I mining from linux to a wallet on another windows machine, but it fails to connect.
I have added the ports on the firewall, configured Peepcoin.conf, but it does not work.
I need a pool.

Don't panic,my wallet is working fine,pls follow below steps.
before you install delete all peepcoin download.then open the link below.

dowload the file name as Archive-907f.zip
then right click the file then extract files.
then you can see 2 files named as peepcoin.conf.txt,and peepcoin.conf CONF
Brand new user, single post, link to an archive with an executable... I'd advise against downloading this! If he really wanted to help, he'd just include a single conf file.If I wasn't at work I would download it to the playground and scan it. But as almightyruler says, DON'T DOWNLOAD THE FILE!!! |

I have solo mined 300 blocks so far, wallet has 3 connections and almost all have become conflicted. (Gone away). There is something way WRONG with this blockchain. yeah, the developer what is prise of pcn and what is TBA Whatever the buy price is. You can put a sell order in for whatever you want, if someone buys at your price score. But I predict there will be millions of coins at 1 SAT and no one buying. If the DEV doesn't fix the blockchain and get an explorer there will be no exchange that will touch this coin. but in the first time he sid that it is 1PCN=1$ why it change ? Because it could (is someone is willing to pay) $1/per coin!! But no one in there right mind would do that. Do you really think someone is going to give you 1/2 million dollars? You must believe and santa, the easter bunny and the tooth fairy!!! |
