Its good to know that there are still people pursuing for this coin after all the dev has done. Unfortunately I am not one of those 19 lucky peeps who got their coins. Even for some Doge just for the effort of participating in the community of this thread. Anyway, good luck to those who are continuing to give hope to those holders here.
For 113 DOGE you can get the 555,555 coins that were promised. Hardly seems worth it!! Now, you can acquire your 555555 PEEP for the new low price of only 100 DOGE! And if you want to sell them, you'll only get 28. From a promised value of $USD 555555.00 to an actual value of less than $USD 0.01.... so many ruined lives and shattered dreams.  I don't think anyone's life was ruined, but a shitload of dreams were shattered!!! and the DEV keeps on dumping!! |

I've been looking at the source code of peepcoin, and also blackcoin (which peepcoin appears to be a clone of) and I think I've found a couple of silly mistakes by the dev, which could potentially save this coin... blackcoin hard forked at block 38424 with a bug fix for a negative difficulty retarget (see http://web.archive.org/web/20140325000902/http://www.blackcoin.co/wallet-2/official-statement-regarding-blockchain-problems-23rd-of-march/ ). peepcoin has the same exact same hard fork conditional code, but with the number changed to 50000. I think what has happened is that the dev thought that block 38424 was blackcoin's PoW limit, and changed it accordingly, when it was actually just the point where the difficulty retargeting algorithm was changed. If I'm correct, this means that PoW will continue indefinitely - it will NOT go to PoS only after block 50000. The dev has also set MAX_MONEY to 56000000000 (5.6 billion PEEP) but again seems to have made a mistake by assuming that this is some sort of maximum minting limit. My understanding, from reading the source, is this is NOT a hard limit on how much the network generates, it is more a sanity check to ensure you don't try to do something silly like send 1 trillion PEEP in a transaction. It has nothing to do with money supply. In a nutshell (if I got it right) :
1. PoW will not stop at block 50000
2. PoW will not stop once 5.6 billion PEEP has been minted (in actual fact, 39.5 billion has already been minted, and mining still works...)So this means that the network isn't limited to minting only a few hundred million PEEP via PoW - the money supply will continue to grow indefinitely. Maybe there's hope after all? Need a hand please how to recover my wallet in this situation http://prntscr.com/cc6kv0Delete everything in your data folder except the wallet.dat and the .conf file. With the DEV selling the premine it will never rise. There are billions at 1 SAT and NO ONE is buying. But those could all be moved if most of them are from the dev, and then the price can rise at least for a pump and dump. If they start to move the DEV will continue to dump the BILLIONS he has!! You cant dump though with no support and right now there is no support so he might as well pull the wall and try to sell them slowly. Even on the DOGE market there are 5 BILLION for sale, he keeps driving the price lower and lower hoping people will pick them up cheap. But even the 5 billion doesn't put a dent in what he has!! The DEV is kinda like herpies, the gift that keeps on giving!!! |

Very hard to read the market history on megacrypton (every entry has a timestamp of 00:00:00?) but trading seems to have slowed down significantly on coinexchange.io, even on the DOGE market.
Correction. Someone bought 107 million PEEP a couple of hours ago. That's showing the love. I'm sure the DEV is happy about that!!! |
