1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: June 10, 2014, 01:04:58 PM
There is something I have noticed about this currency that I haven't seen talked about a whole lot, so I would like to point it out.
There are a LOT of people like me focusing on DRK. We've watched the shitcoins. We saw BTC's rise. We know DRK is BTC 2.0. BTC was an experiment. Is an experiment. DRK finds the soft spots and hardens them. BTC Foundation is a mish-mash of do-nothings and dirt-bags and they'll never add masternodes. They won't touch the codebase for fear of shockwaves among the stupid people up to their eyeballs in hype and cluelessness. Some has to fill the delta between detected soft spots, and making them not soft anymore. It is inevitable. And it's called DRK. DRK doesn't have to worry about upsetting a bunch of dumbasses incapable of seeing the MtGox debacle a year in advance and crying about the community owes them... It doesn't have the encumbrances that petrify BTC and prevent that experiment from evolving it's own Proof of Service/masternode concept.

I'm not a coder, but why would you want anyone messing with the BTC codebase?  As a holder of DRK or any other altcoin you don't want anything and I mean anything to go wrong with Bitcoin.  Bitcoin has its foot in the door to mainstream media and usage just the way it is and alt coins will ride its coattails for the time being.  Any major problem with Bitcoin would set digital currencies back years and a lot of years.

1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CHA] Chancecoin, a coin for betting in a decentralized casino on: June 10, 2014, 12:16:15 PM
NAS Non-centralized block dice gaming system is out.
competition is always good.
Waiting to hear updates from our ASWOME devs!

I think the Devs should hire a marketing person to promote Chancecoin.

We need things like:
- faucet
- website development
- writing articles bounty
- signature giveaway is a good way to get Chancecoin exposed (like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623943.0, made by argan)

Yeah, this is very perplexing.  The devs create this really cool coin and decided to put zero effort into promoting it.
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] X11/PoS/Privacy on: June 09, 2014, 07:14:00 PM
With all the scams out there it's very refreshing to see a coin with such a hard working developer.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unmoderated XC thread on: June 09, 2014, 06:24:12 PM
Here is my wallet showing the xnode transactions that came through over night and the fees I collected from the transactions Smiley

in my config I just added the east and west nodes and ran the xnode-mainnet.bat

Just out of interest, how fees did you collect?

The fees I collected overnight are as follows:
0.037423
0.028602
0.00996
0.024015

That's not fee.

Your xnode steal coins.

You're making yourself and DRK look pathetic at this point.

Man, Wall Street looks like model citizens compared to the crypto world.

Dude, you're such a jackass.  I didn't come here to start a epeen war.  I told you I was going to delete my post if I missed something.

Sorry for pointing out that you could have just opened your wallet to have your question answered...  Have a nice day.

Yeah well I'm not home. I checked my wallet last night and nothing.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NRS|NoirShares] Hybrid Momentum Algo | DACs | The One Crypto | by NOIR GROUP on: June 09, 2014, 03:43:43 PM
Nice professional response from a COO.  I deleted my post once I saw everyone receiving shares.

Well, it's called common sense.  When you say you're going to do something, do you always follow up and say it's done?

The first payout in NRS will be this Sunday for GF holders.

hyz

You really shouldn't announce that payouts will start this Sunday and not make a follow up post. Today is Monday. Did I miss something?  Please let me know what I missed and I will delete my post.

Yes, you did.  Try checking your wallet like everyone else.

Nice professional response from a COO.  I deleted my post once I saw everyone receiving shares.

Scary to think people still don't use 2FA and worse use
the same password on multiple sites!  Shocked

Get yourself roboform, LastPass or KeePass. And use the
password generator, simple.

I had my Bittrex account hacked on June 7th and my btc was stolen.  I only had a small amount of coins on Bittrex so I didn't make a 2fa. It only just occurred to me this could be the reason.  The odd thing is Bittrex sent me a confirmation email and I didn't confirm but they sent the funds anyway.

I can't believe you guys are so naive that you are missing my point.  I don't believe it's a coincidence that the same day I sign up for the Honorcoin site this happens.  Again, for people that seem thick headed, I'm not complaining about the stolen btc as it wasn't a big amount, I'm making a point about the timing of it all.
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HONORCOIN][XHC] PoS | Anonymity Airdrop | Poloniex & Bittrex on: June 09, 2014, 02:10:04 PM
JakeThePanda your own fault your btc got stolen , in all honesty you should have use Two way authentication and not clicked on unknown links.

I agree with you but that's not the point.  I'm not complaining about the btc lost as it was peanuts for me.  It's the point I'm trying to make.  The timing was spot on.
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HONORCOIN][XHC] PoS | Anonymity Airdrop | Poloniex & Bittrex on: June 09, 2014, 02:06:19 PM
You dirtbag scammers are still trying to keep the bullshit flowing. Shame on you.

This thread needs locking to shut these bastards up from continuing to try and sell their bullshit scam.

Here's YET MORE PROOF as to the scam:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=644517.msg7213637#msg7213637

Guys I've been trying to let people know all day, including alerting the admins here, Honorcoin is the culprit. They send people to their website to register for 'free' coins and as part of the registration process they ask for the Bitcointalk forum name, a password and an email address.

Some people have used the same password there as for their accounts here. Bitcoin_Mafia for one admitted to me after opening a thread to say her account had been compromised, that she had used the same password on the Honorcoin website as here and a number of users in the Honorcoin thread have registered accounts today to say their proper accounts have been compromised, only to be screamed at by the idiots in the Honorcoin thread!

Bitcoin_Mafia's thread about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=643807.msg7199245#msg7199245

My first post in the Honorcoin thread to warn them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=639043.msg7195985#msg7195985

If you check Honorcoins website and go through to the section listing the premine registrants forums names you will see Bitcoin_Mafia listed there: http://honorcoin.co/2-free-distribution/

I registered my forum name but used a random password and shortly afterwards received a pm here from a zero-post account with an attached file related to something called RPG-Coin to download and 'test for them. It clearly was part of the Honorcoin attempt to compromise everything they could.

http://honorcoin.co/2-free-distribution/

The useraccount that pm'd me a file https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=337252

My accout got hacked few hours after I filled up my info on the honorcoin link mentionned on the quote. Unfortunately my email and this website had the same password and they were able to access all my coins on Mintpal, bittrex and bter. That really sucks.

They close my previous bitcointalk accout so I had to create a new one and look like a brand new poster on this forum so I have no credibility. I use to post on dafrank9. Is there any way I can get my account back at least?

he has the proof, dump your coins.

People are so funny ,

just not online on Sunday then you guys call him "Scammer"

LMAO ..

If he is working hard ?

So naive.  Even if he's working hard he's at least checking the price or the thread once in a 24 hour period.  It's not hard to peek at the price or the thread and it doesn't take much time out of the day.
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HONORCOIN][XHC] PoS | Anonymity Airdrop | Poloniex & Bittrex on: June 09, 2014, 01:42:39 PM
site is back

What are you saying? The site is not back!

I am on the site now -- and everything looks fine

Dude, if it's not a scam then the right thing for the dev to do is post RIGHT NOW.  If he knows what's going on then he's scamming if he doesn't.  This isn't hard to understand.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HONORCOIN][XHC] PoS | Anonymity Airdrop | Poloniex & Bittrex on: June 09, 2014, 01:38:39 PM
The Dev is not a scammer .. I  am telling you guys .. I have reliable source

Don't you understand that it's now a scam no matter what.  If you have a source then the source should have told the dev what's going on here. If he was honorable he would have made a statement already. Right? No statement means it's already a scam.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HONORCOIN][XHC] PoS | Anonymity Airdrop | Poloniex & Bittrex on: June 09, 2014, 01:37:07 PM
what happen to the XHC?

Someone DDOS Honorcoin site and then spread FUD here with newbie accounts.

To think the dev isn't checking the forum just because it was the weekend is ridiculous.  Most devs will at least check the thread to see what's going on even if they don't respond.  He knows what's going. If it wasn't a scam he would at least stick his head in here and make a post. The XC dev posts constantly, not matter if it's the weekend, morning, noon, or night.  Honorcoin knows exactly what's happening.  You are all naive if you think devs don't check the threads constantly.

It's also illogical to put down your site just before a scheduled announcement. If I was scamming, I just let it run since I already paid for the hosting. If I was trading via FUD, this is a technique to buy cheap when the price can go as high as 10k sats.

If I was scamming I would just keep trying to make it look as legit as possible until I dumped.  If he was trying to FUD to buy cheap he would know that once the community loses faith it's hard to get it back.  It would be stupid of him to think he can do what he is doing and then the price will magically rise to 10k.  Once trust is lost it doesn't come back.

Maybe the shitty dev is making people panic selling for him to buy chip coins for airdroping.

This also makes it a scam.  Roll Eyes
