This is utter nonsense. Marketing can be something as little as making frequent posts in the bitcointalk thread about ideas, updates, potential projects, bounties, giveaways, etc, you get the point. This all starts from the developers. If they aren't willing to at least do that, then the coin will just die and everything was for nothing. Many developers do this and these coins have a decent size or growing community. Unless...unless the devs have no stake in their own coin anymore.    This would be crazy because it's obvious to me they made something unique and fun. There's so much potential here it would be a shame to see it go down the drain. A dev that promote is a dev that is not coding and is promoting very badly. Tell me one single example of a successful innovative crypto where the only dev is also the only doing marketing?? While I agree with you, number one priority for a dev should be development. Coins don't fail because a lack of marketing, but because a lack of innovation. The chart is looking really ugly. One positive is the red bars have very low volume, but that doesn't mean it can't change. If people don't feel that 100k will hold, volume can easily pick up. I see another break below 100K some time today. Originally I thought we would have sideways motion for while between 90k to 130k. I'm lowering the floor to 80k and the ceiling to 110k. We couldn't stay above 120k on the second attempt yesterday.
Disclaimer: It's very possible I'm wrong and this is just one persons opinion. I'm nobody. I hold 13k XC.
