521  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Aptos Fake/Scam Airdrop Site on: November 18, 2023, 11:26:43 AM
The site has been reported for phishing.

It's good that you didn't connect your wallet, basically I'm suspicious of all the airdrops that ask participants to connect their wallet, they can just ask for the address and then send the airdrop to the address without connecting the wallet.

These sites have become very popular in the recent period, especially those that use the names of big airdrops because they are tempting to victims, so the wallet should not be connected to any site for these airdrops.
522  Other / Meta / Re: Need some support for Nexus (NXS) thread transfer on: November 18, 2023, 06:05:22 AM
Since you say that Theymos asked you to do this and you also say that KryptoKash, the owner of the original thread, left the project and created a bad reputation for himself, it is certain that Theymos believes that this is the best for the benefit of the community, but he wants to take everyone’s opinion and perhaps it would be better if there was a poll.

Of course, Theymos can change the OP easily, but he clearly wants to see the community’s opinion on this point before he does so. It is clear that everyone welcomes the decision and there is no opposition to this opinion.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador Nayib Bukele Portfolio Tracker on: November 18, 2023, 05:29:43 AM
We don't need to track the portfolio of Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador, or Michael Saylor, President of MicroStrategy, to know the importance of DCA. Although tracking it has a significant positive impact on the Bitcoin market in general.

I respect these two people (Nayib Bukele and Michael Saylor) because they believe in adopting Bitcoin practically and theoretically and apply this belief on the ground with all sincerity. We need this type of influential people who believe strongly in adopting Bitcoin until we reach that day when we will witness global adoption. For Bitcoin.
524  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: سأشتري USDC بسعر +7% on: November 18, 2023, 03:19:07 AM

525  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake transaction accelerator that requires typing your seed phrase!!! on: November 17, 2023, 12:01:01 PM
I tried the report but the site takes a long time and gives me an error message:

I tried using a vpn but the same result.

In any case, it is expected that the phishers will exploit all circumstances to their advantage, given the current high Bitcoin network fees and the increasing demand for accelerators, it is certain that they will create more of these fraudulent sites.

Unfortunately, despite all these warnings, some beginners still fall victim to this primitive type of fraud and easily give up their private keys.
526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and War Crimes? on: November 17, 2023, 04:28:52 AM
Yes, cryptocurrencies can be affected by some wars and situations similar to epidemics, but they are not a stock market as most of the members mentioned above, so you have to correct your concept.

I see that the war between Hamas and Israel did not have any impact on the crypto market. If there had been an impact of this war, we should have seen Bitcoin fall, but we see the exact opposite, as Bitcoin began to rise well since that time.

The reason, in my opinion, is that this war is limited and regional, but if it expands and the war spreads to other countries and the major powers participate in the conflict, then we will certainly witness a negative impact of this war on global markets in general, including the Bitcoin market.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high can the transaction fees become? on: November 17, 2023, 04:19:13 AM
In my opinion, you should keep your Bitcoin stored on your cold wallet for now until the fee madness subsides a bit. Transferring Bitcoin to an Electreum wallet will cost you a lot of fees for now.

In addition, you need to pay fees to open your own channel on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. This means that you will pay a lot of fees at the moment, so perhaps it is better for you to wait a little while, perhaps the fee madness will subside and you will return to normal.
528  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: قصة إحتيال لتطبيق إسكايب on: November 17, 2023, 03:29:38 AM

529  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the smallest amount of BTC I can transfer to my electrum wallet on: November 16, 2023, 11:13:13 AM
I'm basically wondering why you're requesting a deposit from an Electreum wallet? You do not need to request a deposit. All you have to do is put the Bitcoin address of your Electreum wallet in the ViaBTC withdrawal box, but of course you must have the minimum withdrawal amount.

However, despite this, I tried to request a withdrawal from the Electreum wallet for the exact same amount, 0.00052172 BTC, and this is what I got:

The order was created without any issues so you may have some issues with your Electreum setting.
530  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Mexc Stop Limit Error ? on: November 16, 2023, 06:37:27 AM
As most of the members pointed out above this is a common type of error due to severe market fluctuations, the price may have reached the point where the stop loss order was executed instantly and then went back up.

Perhaps the reason why the price at which it was executed is not clear on the chart is either because the time interval is too small to notice (it is possible that there is only one order), or there is a technical defect in the chart that did not cause the price to appear even though the order was executed.

Another possibility is that you are not using a price chart to exchange MEXC in which case the price at which the order was executed will not appear on the chart.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan Thinks the Big Crypto Rally Is Overdone on: November 16, 2023, 05:46:49 AM
Are you sure he is an "analyst at a major company"? I doubt he knows anything about analysis, there is no need for you to answer him because Bitcoin has just done so and quickly returned to above 37K$ as we see now.

I think that this talk has nothing to do with technical analysis, but rather it has to do with the policy of getting closer to governments. These large banks are very interested in getting closer to governments, so they shout against Bitcoin to gain the favor of the American government, as they know that it is hostile to Bitcoin.
532  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: بينانس تطلق تطبيق محادثات on: November 16, 2023, 05:27:27 AM

533  Economy / Economics / Re: Foreign reserves on: November 15, 2023, 05:35:34 PM
I don't know how the laws work in other countries, but at least this is the case in my country.
I've just heard of a state policy like that which I think is more than just "regulated", it's full intervention. In which country do you live?
In fact, there is no such strange policy in poor countries experiencing severe crises.
Yes, it is. Here there is complete interference and complete possession, where you feel that you do not own anything, but everything is the property of the government. I am from Syria. I am sure you have heard of it. This country suffers from civil wars, internal conflicts and divisions, and the government there imposes very strict laws on all citizens regarding foreign exchange.

The banking system here is completely under the control of the government and we can acquire foreign currency at any time under the pretext of the state treasury’s need (of course they compensate those affected with worthless local currency).

But as far as I know, all countries that have comprehensive authoritarian regimes have the same principle. They may not declare this as official state laws, but this actually happens on the ground.

535  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Question] Fast way to check bulk address bitcoin balance on: November 15, 2023, 07:08:33 AM
There are many sites that provide this service for free or paid. You can try this free site:

https://cointool.app/batchCheckBalance/btc

It gives good and fast results, and the other good thing about this site is that it gives aggregate address balance results for coins other than Bitcoin on many networks such as:
BTC, ETH, Arbitrum, BSC, Optimism, TRX, HECO, Solana, Polygon,.......etc
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High fees are not bitcoin's destinty on: November 15, 2023, 03:30:11 AM
I see that the positive side of Ordinal NFTs is that they have given us a practical idea of the problems that the Bitcoin network will suffer in the event of global adoption, and this will push the Bitcoin community to search for solutions that must be developed to eliminate this highly likely problem in the future.

The Bitcoin network is still in its infancy, and as global adoption expands in the future, we will certainly face these problems, so it is best to look for solutions to these potential problems now.

Another good aspect is that miners will no longer have to fear for the future of mining due to rewards being halved every four years. They now see that this problem can be solved by increasing transactions on the network.
537  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How can I get my Wise account back after they've closed it? on: November 14, 2023, 07:51:06 PM
They will most likely reject your apology, so it is best not to waste time. These services have strict laws and are completely controlled by governments.

But what I wonder is why you insist on using the Wise service since they prohibit dealing in cryptocurrencies and you want to get some transfers from there. You can look for a better option to transfer money through services that do not ban cryptocurrencies, and this will be much better for you in the future.

In my opinion, you should look for an alternative service and you will certainly find many services in your country.
538  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can anyone recommend an event where one can test their trading skills? on: November 14, 2023, 06:12:16 PM
You are confusing trading with DeFi, there is no relation between them as they are two different concepts from each other.

In any case, if you are asking about trading cryptocurrencies or trading Forex, there are many large platforms that give you demo accounts to learn trading by depositing virtual money.

Of course, this method is good as a start, but you must keep in mind that demo trading is different from real trading. There are many emotions that control your decisions in real trading, such as fear and greed, but this does not exist in demo trading.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Challenging Privacy in Bitcoin! on: November 14, 2023, 10:50:55 AM
The biggest challenge, in my opinion, lies in converting Bitcoin to cash while maintaining privacy. Transactions can be hidden in many ways, such as the ones you mentioned at the beginning. But we have to convert Bitcoin into cash in the end, and here lies the problem.

The available means of converting Bitcoin to Cash while maintaining privacy are very limited. There are P2P or via DEX that do not require KYC, but the rest of the central services are all unsafe.

We therefore seek to develop more secure, decentralized solutions to hide the trace of Bitcoin during the transfer process as well as when converting it to cash.
540  Economy / Economics / Re: Foreign reserves on: November 14, 2023, 03:28:06 AM
I assume that the answer is yes, because if an individual deposits an amount of $10,000, for example, in any bank within the country, it is part of the foreign reserve present inside the country and does not leave abroad, so I think.
No, it doesn't. Read again some of the responses above. Foreign exchange reserves have nothing to do with individual investments. In spending, foreign exchange reserves must be carried out through government policy for domestic economic interests. However, you can liquidate your investment at any time for your own benefit. The two won't fundamentally influence each other.
Yes, your words may be correct. I am not completely sure, but what I meant is that if there is a shortage in the foreign exchange reserve, the government will withdraw the reserve in the banks and reserve it for its benefit. They will compensate those affected instead in the local currency, so I assumed that personal investments are included in Foreign exchange reserves due to the government's ability to acquire them in emergency situations.

I don't know how the laws work in other countries, but at least this is the case in my country.
