681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is regulation of cryptocurrency exchanges essential for mass adoption? on: October 07, 2023, 06:58:10 PM
The refusal to be regulated by exchanges will certainly affect mass adoption in most countries of the world, because countries will not accept allowing work in cryptocurrencies without a license and without companies being subject to the regulatory laws of the country.

But, of course, it will not affect individuals’ adoption of cryptocurrencies. Basically, calls are increasing from everyone to abandon central exchanges due to successive incidents of collapse, hacking, or bankruptcy of exchanges, which led to users losing hundreds of millions of dollars.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Governments Ban Cryptocurrency {Bitcoin} on: October 07, 2023, 03:21:29 PM
This is wrong, basically in most countries decisions and regulatory laws are made by the government and not the president, but regardless even countries with a president will get the same result because the government and the president love centralization and control and hate decentralization.

Bitcoin has unique characteristics that make all governments ban it, such as decentralization and privacy. This makes citizens’ financial transactions far from the eyes and hands of the government, so it is rare to find a government that accepts Bitcoin.

The only exception is perhaps El Salvador because of the major economic problems that the country suffers from and the lack of a national currency in the first place, which prompted the open-minded president to adopt Bitcoin.
683  Other / Meta / Re: What are the capabilities of these ranks in Bitcointalk? on: October 07, 2023, 03:32:48 AM
From what I understand, moderators have the power to delete or move posts, but they do not have the power to ban members.

Also, DT and DT1 do not have the power to ban members, but they can tag any profile and it will have a significant negative impact, but I do not think it will lead to banning the member later.

As for banning members, I believe that this is within the powers of the Global Moderator and Administrator only. I do not know if I am wrong.

685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a 20% Annual Return good ? on: October 06, 2023, 04:03:06 PM
You are the one who decides whether this annual return is good for you or not, because this varies from one trader to another. Perhaps some of them do not consider this percentage good enough and some of them consider it very good. For me, a 20% annual profit return is very good.

Although I believe that it is difficult to create a strategy with a fixed annual return, if you are actually able to create this strategy, it will be an important achievement and you may be able to share or sell your strategy.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Next-GenTrading Platforms: The Ultimate of DEX and CEX on: October 06, 2023, 04:41:02 AM
Or do you mean that these two types belong to the same exchange but are separate in their application as Binance used to have a DEX version of the exchange?
Not that, Op doesn't want a DEX version of a central exchange, he wants a hybrid exchange that combines DEX and CEX together in one exchange, I don't expect there is anything like this at the moment. DEX and CEX differ from each other in many theoretical and technical details.

But there are some central exchanges that provide services similar to DEX, such as a swap with instant liquidity, where you can swap any Coin you want while providing instant liquidity. You can also participate in the liquidity pool and obtain a daily or monthly return.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I lost my money due to an exchange error (I think) on: October 06, 2023, 03:11:02 AM
There may be some delay sometimes, but it should not take that long.

If you are sending funds to another exchange, they may not appear in the spot trading balance, but they should appear in the wallet balance of your account, so you need to make sure that if they are in the wallet balance, you should transfer them to the spot trading balance.

If you are sending money to the MetaMask wallet, for example, you must make sure to change the network to "arbitum one" in MetaMask so that you can see your balance.

689  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Alternate to Trading View on: October 05, 2023, 04:42:23 PM
top tier exchanges like binance has incorperated the tradingview window in their charts. With this inclusivity, it is almost impossible to find competitors at this level giving premium services without charges.
Tradingview charts integrated with Binance and other large exchanges do not give you the same capabilities and tools that the Tradingview website provides you with. These are just a small sample of the complete deviation tools available on the Tradingview website.

TradingView in Binance
Binance has built-in TradingView tools in its exchange UI, allowing users to create charts and trade simultaneously. The tools you see on the left are just a small selection of what’s available and offer a similar experience to TradingView’s website.

For a quick tour of the interface, find out How to use the Binance Web TradingView Tool.

In short, the Tradingview tools integrated with the exchanges are not a substitute for the Tradingview website.
690  Economy / Exchanges / Re: withdraw crypto from bitget on: October 05, 2023, 09:18:52 AM
As the members mentioned above there are a lot of altcoins that have a minimum withdrawal amount of less than $10 and have small fees such as TRX, XRP, LTC.

But I would like to draw your attention, if you have not completed KYC, you should read this topic:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5464009.0

According to the announcement, Bitget will enforce the KYC as of September 1st, so if you do not intend to complete the KYC, it is better to withdraw all your coins from Bitget.
691  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin volatility on: October 05, 2023, 03:18:16 AM
It is good news to see that 2023 is the least volatile year for Bitcoin, but it may not be so for speculators.

In any case, this indicates, in my opinion, one of two possibilities: Either people have begun to believe that Bitcoin is an asset to hold in the long term, or most people are waiting for the halving in 2024 and expect Bitcoin to reach a new peak, so they do not want to sell now.

Personally, I hope the first possibility is correct. People realizing that Bitcoin is an asset to hold for the long term will dampen Bitcoin's volatility and help accelerate global adoption.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Ideas without action: An overview of a successful entrepreneur and a dreamer. on: October 04, 2023, 04:43:40 PM
👉👉Sharing ideas with Idea Killers
Idea Killers can be anyone. It can be your close friend, family or neighbour. Telling them your ideas may easily kill your dream. They easily give you hundreds of reasons why the idea may not work and this may therefore kill the idea in you.
Thank you for this article full of positive energy and valuable advice.
I will focus on this point because it is very important. Idea killers spread throughout all societies, and they are often, as you mentioned, the frustrated people very close to you, your family, friends, or your wife. If they are the frustrated type, they cause others’ frustration and failure.

Staying away from such people is necessary because they give you negative energy, cause you to fail, and destroy your dreams. But the biggest problem is if they are very close and you cannot stay away from them? What can you do in this situation?
693  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seed Backup Solutions, compared feature by feature on: October 04, 2023, 10:46:09 AM
For me, I do not see a problem with the price if there is a good amount of Bitcoin to protect. More costs can be incurred in order to obtain strong protection.

But I see the problem in that these solid metal objects are difficult to hide and are eye-catching. If you write the seed on a piece of good-quality paper, it can be hidden anywhere in the house among your personal belongings without attracting attention.

As for these metal panels, it will be difficult to hide them at home in a safe way that does not attract attention.
694  Other / Meta / Re: Topic title RTL weirdness (SMF patch) on: October 04, 2023, 04:45:28 AM
Good news for the Arabic section and sections that write from right to left, this is a really annoying old problem.

I do not know if this update will solve the other problem, which is the inability of the title to read the entire Arabic text if the number of characters is greater than a certain number. This can be seen in this example:

This is a screenshot of the notification email with a new topic title as it appears fully in the message:

While the title does not appear in full on the main Arabic section page:

Can this problem be solved with this update?

696  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: October 03, 2023, 07:21:40 PM
Eating, drinking, housing, and clothing, these are the basic components of human life that cannot be dispensed with.
I saw what you did there by adding, "drinking" 🤔. Drinking should be seen as a luxury. I was given to understand in my formative years that the basic were Food, Shelter and Clothing; but it's ok if you want to indulge your cravings. We're going to call for an amendment then 🤗.
Well, I may have made a mistake in my expression. I used the word “drinking” instead of water, but in fact, I did not mean alcoholic beverages. I meant water. In any case, alcohol can be added because some people consider drinking one of the basics of life, even though I am not like that, but that’s okay. Wink

Some people may think that this is not a problem, because in most countries water is available and obtaining it is very easy, but some countries suffer from a real water shortage and obtaining water is a big problem for the people there. In some villages, people sometimes need to walk miles to get water and perhaps It is not (clean), so I pointed out that (drinking) water should be one of the basic rights of any citizen and it is the government’s duty to provide water to people in such areas.
697  Economy / Reputation / Re: In Defense of Retaliation-Inspired PMs and Royse777 Camp Management's Reputation on: October 03, 2023, 10:10:56 AM
I also give my opinion honestly. I have worked with Royse77 on more than one signature campaign and all of them were wonderful.

Royse77 has great professionalism in managing campaigns and is always trustworthy. There were no problems during those campaigns and things were going well and payments were made regularly without delays or errors. And everyone was satisfied (participants and the campaign team).

It is difficult to find someone capable of managing so many large campaigns without causing problems or errors unless he has sufficient skill and experience. During my time on the forum, I did not hear that any campaign team asked Royse77 to step down from the campaign, and this is (sufficient evidence) that His high professionalism and good management of the campaign.

Don't worry, Royse77, just carry on with your work professionally and honestly as you always did.
698  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Local bitcoin exchange KYC tax is dead/exempt now? on: October 03, 2023, 09:06:49 AM
The entire point of this post is asking what happens to KYC when the business goes bust and there is no employees and if they delete accounts do they delete KYC information. Alot of exchanges going bust and I'm curious
Rest assured that any KYC data or personal documents submitted to exchanges will be a copy of it in the hands of the government and they will not delete it for a long time, most likely never. All this data is stored and used whenever needed.

Even exchanges or services that claim to be decentralized collect information about you through your browser such as IP and other information and use it upon request.

Remember the MetaMask incident how they blocked Russian users when the Russian-Ukrainian war started even though they were claiming that they did not have access to user data. And also the Chipmixer incident.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two guys that have lost their Bitcoins forever on: October 03, 2023, 05:00:01 AM
As for me, the lesson I learned: You have to own your own landfill!!! Grin
I was most affected by the last story. When I heard the story for the first time, I could not believe that all this great wealth was thrown into a landfill and the man was unable to convince the municipality to recover it!!!

Sad stories indeed. All these large amounts of Bitcoin have been forgotten. I do not expect their owners to ever be able to recover them. Totally unfortunate.

I am surprised that most of these are professionals and not beginners. I do not know how they committed these simple (fatal) mistakes. Two of them lost their passwords and the last one threw the hard drive in the garbage!!!

We have a popular proverb that says: “A smart man’s mistake is worth a thousand.”
