661  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: دعم غزة (فلسطين الحرة) on: October 13, 2023, 03:13:33 AM

Quote

662  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: دعم غزة (فلسطين الحرة) on: October 12, 2023, 03:53:39 PM

663  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cross-chain crimes reaches a record of $7 billion on: October 12, 2023, 10:30:24 AM
These are new accusations to create a legal background to ban Cross-chain exchange and a way for decentralized one, or at least restrict them and arrest their developers, as they are the prevailing means of laundering crypto-assets.
Cross-chain platforms are centralized platforms that do not require identity and therefore it is easy for governments to set regulatory frameworks on them and thus prevent tokens and all investments related to them. If these platforms do not become decentralized (I cannot find an open source way to do this), it is a matter of time before issuing legal legislation against them.
Yes, I agree with you on this point. Since I read this study, I feel that this is the purpose of it, since centralized exchanges have become almost completely under the control of the government, so they will now go to accuse these decentralized services to form the appropriate legal ground to enact legislation against them.

Of course, there are some decentralized services that are already used to launder money, but not all of them. Additionally, if they enact laws to ban these services, criminals will find other ways to continue their work. Criminals are constantly evolving their methods before and after Crypto.
664  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [List] Telegram in-app wallet on: October 12, 2023, 04:39:11 AM
The idea of having a wallet integrated with the Telegram app may seem exciting to Telegram users who do not have much experience with Crypto and do not know the difference between a custodial wallet and non-custodial wallet. They believe that this wallet will enable them to simply send and receive cryptocurrencies without any problems.

But as for the forum, I think that most members do not welcome the idea, firstly because the user does not have a wallet seed, secondly because of privacy, and thirdly because Telegram is full of scammers and trolls who never stop coming up with new methods to deceive users.
665  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LATOKEN and CoinW - Two Exchanges I Have Had Bad Experiences Using on: October 12, 2023, 03:34:06 AM
I used LATOKEN and had bad experiences with it but I have never used CoinW before so I know nothing about it.

I registered with LATOKEN many years ago and traded there for some time but in reality the service was very bad, very poor liquidity for most coins and a lot of coins were scam or dead, in the end they banned me because of the country but as luck would have it I didn't have much there.

It is likely that most of the users who used LATOKEN because of the airdrops they received were listed on the exchange. At the moment I don't use it anymore so I don't know if it's still bad.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons of my experience and knowledge about Bitcoin on: October 11, 2023, 09:53:26 AM
Do you mind being specific, as you have said, you made good profit at the beginning, does it crash the altcoin you have bought or you have made a mistake of not taking a profit? If it does, then it is a personal judgement that becomes the reason for your losses.

I don't say that I do not trust bitcoin, but what you have said can also happen to Bitcoin. It can crash in a blink of an eye, many have experience that, the price suddenly drop at an unexpected price, though Bitcoin will surely be able to recover and the its price still grow over time. Bitcoin is indeed strong compared to altcoins, we just have to put our trust on it.
Yes, this is it. Some of the Altcoins that I invested in collapsed after witnessing significant growth, and some of them I made the mistake of not taking profits when they reached the top because I expected them to rise more than that.

Other times, I made big profits from the rise of the coin, but after its price fell, I bought large quantities in the hope that it would rise again, but it continued to fall and I had to exit with a loss in the end.

Of course, you can say that this is because of my personal mistake and that Bitcoin is the same thing, but at least if the price of Bitcoin falls significantly, you can hold in the long run and you will emerge profitable in the end.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons of my experience and knowledge about Bitcoin on: October 11, 2023, 08:45:58 AM
In the current cryptocurrency market, some altcoins even outperform Bitcoin in terms of giving ROI.  People just need proper and right information about altcoins.  Though it is risky, there are altcoins that give their investor a very good amount of profit.  Just like SHIB, many say that it is a shitcoin, I do not refute that, but I cannot deny that I profited 42x+ when I invested in this, altcoin just need the right timing for entry and exit in order to get profit because if the investor missed the timing, he might end up bagholding worthless coins.
Never trust Altcoin. This is advice from my personal experience and from the experiences of many others. After a long experience and many losses due to Altcoin, I was finally completely convinced that only Bitcoin can be trusted. Although in the beginning I made good profits from Altcoin, I cannot trust it at all.

It is true that Altcoin gives you greater profits than Bitcoin, but do not trust it because it can change in the blink of an eye and turn your profits into losses. If you want to venture with a small capital, that is okay, but I do not advise you to enter with a large capital at all.
668  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary Members Spread Completely Fake Information - Merit System Do Not Work on: October 11, 2023, 04:54:27 AM
It is strange to find an old legendary member present in the most important Bitcoin forum since 2013, and yet it is rare to find any post from him related to Bitcoin?

BADecker only writes in the Politics and Society section. Personally, I have not read any of his posts outside of this section. I am surprised if he is only interested in politics, why does he choose the Bitcoin forum to post in?

But regardless, this is a global forum open to everyone, and no one can confiscate freedom of opinion and expression. As for spreading misleading information, this falls on the responsibility of the members who believe everything and do not do their own research.
669  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: هام لمتداولين غزة وفلسطين on: October 11, 2023, 02:43:05 AM

؟؟!!! Huh
670  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bank-free Bitcoin Mining on: October 10, 2023, 05:23:58 PM
In addition to all the comments mentioned by the members above, this topic seems suspicious. In the first place, I do not see any relationship between Bitcoin mining and the FCF Pay service company. You make the topic as if this service is related to mining and provided you with many services and made mining easier.

Even if this service is real, it is for paying bills and has nothing to do with mining and is also limited to certain areas only. How can miners in other countries benefit from this service? The electricity bill payment service is only available to listed electricity companies and cannot operate on a global scale.
671  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Bitcoin History Book 2008-2024 PROGRESS REPORT on: October 10, 2023, 08:55:10 AM
An absolutely wonderful work. You deserve all thanks and appreciation for the great effort you put into this wonderful book.

I quickly browsed through the book to take a look. I found the book's format to be very good, rich with information and illustrative images in a way that provides a lot of interesting information without making the reader bored as a result of the book's long pages.

It is true that the history of Bitcoin is not far away, but it is full of major events that deserve to be documented, so it is not easy at all to compile this large amount of information accumulated during all those years.

I will try to read part of it whenever I have some time. I repeat my admiration for the book, and thank you.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance Launches UK Domain in Compliance with New Financial Promotions Rules on: October 10, 2023, 04:31:09 AM
Binance is not yet done with its legal issues with the US government and now they are opening up to UK users, I am afraid they will suffer from the same legal issues as the regulations are similar in both countries.

Binance seeks to control all markets, relying on the great popularity it has achieved on the one hand, and on the other hand, it seeks to gain the acceptance of governments, but the regulatory laws for crypto are strict in the United Kingdom, and I expect that Binance’s task will not be easy there. Therefore, I believe that Binance will seek to gain the government's trust by submitting to the regulations related to KYC and AML.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not for Bitcoin on: October 10, 2023, 02:57:55 AM
All of these major incidents that you mentioned (3AC, Blockfi, Celsius, Voyager, Luna, and FTX ) are all centralized services that have nothing to do with Bitcoin in the first place. They are like parasitic organisms that had to be eliminated.

Although these incidents were painful and caused losses to many people, they had a positive aspect in that they made people realize the importance of Bitcoin and that it is the only coin that can be trusted. Therefore, I support your opinion on this point. If it were not for the existence of Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency industry would have collapsed completely.

675  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cross-chain crimes reaches a record of $7 billion on: October 09, 2023, 05:44:37 PM
Just crazy numbers though and it's going to be very difficult to catch them at hand as there are new methods to hide or obfuscated their origin.
Yes, just numbers. Such statistics cannot be trusted because it is very difficult to track all the methods that criminals follow. They are always developing new methods of concealment.
Of course, the value of stolen coins can be known and tracked, but this is impossible if they are laundered on bridges and decentralized exchanges, as the report states:

Quote
DEXs: decentralized services – often running on smart contracts – that allow cross-asset swaps on the same blockchain.

Cross-chain bridges: services that are typically decentralized that allow cross-chain swaps across assets on different blockchain platforms.

Coin swap services: centralized and typically anonymous services that allow exchanges between different assets without the need to create an account or submit identity verification.
This means that the stolen coins will enter one of these decentral services and then another clean coin will exit on a different network. These stolen coins will enter the new network as clean coins. How can we distinguish between them in this case?
676  Other / Meta / Re: bitcoin discussion board have lot of unecessary questions on: October 09, 2023, 11:27:57 AM
Such matters cannot be stopped in an open global forum, where everyone can post, even if these topics are of low quality as long as they do not violate forum policy they will not be stopped because forum policy is based on freedom of expression and opinion.

The final decision is made by the moderators. If they consider it to be spam, they will delete it.

For signature campaigns that are mutually beneficial to the participating members and companies, these campaigns are monitored by the advertising company's team and campaign managers and will most likely remove members who post low-quality posts or spam.
677  Economy / Economics / Re: The economics of war. How does this affect us all especially us in crypto? on: October 09, 2023, 09:36:26 AM

I watched on film about 5000 usd worth of gear take out a 1 million dollar Russian tank .  At no risk to the operator of that 5000 worth of gear.
Since you mentioned this equipment worth $5,000 that destroys a Russian tank worth $1 million (I expect it to be a drone), you can also add to it the equipment that Hamas used in its recent operation against Israel, which was called (Al-Aqsa Flood).

This picture is of a glider called (Delta Plane) that was manufactured locally by Hamas. This primitive equipment, which costs a few dollars, canceled the work of the Israeli Iron Dome and air defense systems that cost billions of dollars, because these advanced radars and equipment are unable to detect this primitive equipment.

Therefore, I hope that these incidents will be a lesson for political and military leaders to stop spending more billions to manufacture more advanced weapons of killing and destruction.

I hope peace prevails throughout the world.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why won't the US government give up? on: October 09, 2023, 04:58:39 AM
The US government will not give up its quest to control Bitcoin easily, and even after a decade they will not give up. US policy towards its enemies is far-reaching (it resembles the Cold War).

Even if Bitcoin is decentralized, the United States seeks to control it by controlling central exchanges and all other crypto services through strict regulatory restrictions and KYC and AML policies. Central bank digital currencies (CBDC) are also another way in the US's quest to control Bitcoin.

This battle can be summarized as the will of the people (Bitcoin, decentralization, and privacy) versus the will of governments (centralization and absolute control). Do not expect it to end soon, so let us wait and see the result.
679  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 8bet.io refusing to process cashout on: October 08, 2023, 03:17:20 AM
Additional Notes: I have been with them since 2021. So it's not like i just signed up yesterday for free spins. I have withdrawn from them before without an issue but i don't know why suddenly i am being shut down
If you say that you have been with them since 2021 and have not had any problems during this long period and you have withdrawn before without problems, then there must be a problem or an acceptable excuse this time.

If they have been working well during all that period, they must have gained a good reputation, so it does not make sense for them to suddenly turn into a scam. You have to wait a little while and keep trying to contact them. There may be a problem with your account or a misunderstanding, or there may be other reasons preventing them from contacting you or Reply right now.
on: October 08, 2023, 02:45:35 AM
