on: November 14, 2023, 03:16:12 AM

542  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: بينانس تطلق تطبيق محادثات on: November 13, 2023, 11:49:43 AM

543  Economy / Speculation / Re: This bullish momentum - Breaking through the $35,000 mark on: November 13, 2023, 11:42:51 AM
I agree with you on the possible scenario for Bitcoin in the near term, as the next target is expected to be at 38K$ and due to the potential earnings momentum, we may see it rebound to the support levels of 33K$ and below.

But I disagree with your point that the reason for this bullish momentum is “increased optimism surrounding the potential approval of the Bitcoin Spot ETF by the SEC.” We have already noted in previous posts that the impact of the approval has diminished very much and is unlikely to be the reason of Bitcoin's current rise.
544  Other / Meta / Re: A possible solution for broken images on the forum. on: November 13, 2023, 08:44:47 AM
I used: [Script] Imgur to TalkImg - automatically fix your broken images The script works perfectly and all the broken images are fixed. It is true that it takes some time, but it is faster than manual repair anyway.

The problem is that I still see some broken images in the forum because some members who have broken images in old threads are lazy to use the script themselves to fix their broken images, so I wonder if the forum administration can do this collectively for all the broken images in the forum?
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Foreign reserves on: November 13, 2023, 03:31:44 AM
I assume that the answer is yes, because if an individual deposits an amount of $10,000, for example, in any bank within the country, it is part of the foreign reserve present inside the country and does not leave abroad, so I think.

As long as your money is in the central banks under the control of the government, it is certain that it is considered part of the state’s foreign reserves, and they will certainly use it in the event of a shortage of foreign exchange reserves in the government’s treasury.

This means that in theory you are the owner of the foreign exchange in your bank account, but the real owner is the government.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adaption in Turkey on: November 13, 2023, 03:20:29 AM
I also hope to immigrate to a country that is friendly to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, not Turkey specifically, but any country where working in such things is easier and provides a suitable environment for crypto.

In any case, I think that the Turkish government is still far from accepting Bitcoin officially. I think they have some laws regulating such matters, but like all central governments, the last thing they will think about is accepting Bitcoin officially.

In my country, these things are not allowed and all those who work with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies work in secret, so I hope that one day I will see such manifestations in my country.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcin does not support financial crimes and is not involve in political affairs on: November 12, 2023, 05:28:45 AM
This is complete nonsense. Firstly, there is no proof that Hamas used Bitcoin in its surprise attack on Israel. Secondly, even if it is proven that they used Bitcoin, what is the difference? What does Bitcoin have to do with the story? If they ban Bitcoin won't Hamas fighters be able to raise money again???!!!

They've done this many times even before Bitcoin existed, so why all the hype? It is better for them to focus on ending the war between the Palestinians and the Israelis rather than ignite a new war against Bitcoin.
548  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: بينانس تطلق تطبيق محادثات on: November 12, 2023, 05:07:41 AM

549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mixing USDT on: November 11, 2023, 09:13:30 AM
Personally I would never consider using a USDT mixing service, USDT mixing makes no sense at all because the concept of mixing conflicts with the concept of centralization.

The biggest risk in USDT is not privacy, but rather the possibility of freezing the balance by Tether because it is completely centralized and subject to the American authorities, so they can freeze your balance based on the government’s request, whether the balance is in the wallet or on central exchanges.

Why not consider decentralized stablecoins would be much better than using USDT mixing.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Refer to my previous topic: "Investing plan" on: November 11, 2023, 03:17:37 AM
Even if you are a little late in your decision, it is a good decision. It is true that Bitcoin has started to rise, but there is still time to make some additional profits. DCA's long-term strategy is of course the best.

Your best decision is to stay away from centralized exchanges as they are not safe for holding Bitcoin in the long term. Electreum is the best wallet for Bitcoin after hardware wallets. It is highly recommended for people who do not have hardware wallets.

good luck.
551  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto arbitrage trading bot development to increase profit on: November 10, 2023, 08:48:04 PM
It's kind of contradictory of you to say that bots don't work and then at the next paragraph, you're saying that arbitrage bots are profitable although I won't dispute that trading isn't a guaranteed profit since that's true and obvious unless you are a God.
What contradiction? Read the post carefully. I did not say that robots do not work. I said:
There is no type of trading with a 100% guaranteed profit. T
First, I said about trading that there is no 100% guaranteed profit, and I did not say that robots do not work.

As for arbitrage robots, it is true that they are profitable sometimes, but they contain many problems,
Secondly, I said about arbitrage robots that they work only a few times, not that they do not work at all. Robots depend primarily on the trader, who must have sufficient experience to program the robot.
Please read the words carefully.

553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hong Kong regulators might allow spot ETF on: November 10, 2023, 04:39:33 AM
The only positive thing I see here is the Bitcoin futures ETFs moving to Hong Kong instead of the US, at least we get rid of SEC control.

However, despite this, I do not see that Bitcoin futures ETFs will have a significant impact on the market, given that this impact has already occurred, and I do not expect to see more than that. There is a great exaggeration in optimism, and what I see is that there will be a slight rise as a result of the good news.

The “real effect” occurs when large amounts of Bitcoin are purchased resulting in increased demand, which will not happen here.
554  Other / Meta / Re: Discovered a new type of error! on: November 10, 2023, 04:16:18 AM

Yes, unfortunately, this thread was deleted by Ratimov himself, and no one knows the real reasons yet since Ratimov himself did not respond to this thread to explain his reasons.

Have you heard of the term "bruised ego"? This is exactly what affects at this time a person who has deleted his own topics that were previously considered useful (according to users). Have you witnessed the drama discussed in the reputation section? If not, then read on to understand the reason for the behavior of a person who deletes all his topics.
What has recently been discovered by users as the disappearance of topics only proves that one cannot blindly trust those who position themselves as people who give their soul to the forum. Take responsibility for finding information on your own, which is abundant on the Internet, and do not trust those who create self-moderated topics. Sometimes, adults return to childhood and destroy their sand houses, so others do not get them.
Honestly, I've never heard the term "bruised ego" before, although I expect I understand what it means, so thanks for letting me know.

I don't visit the reputation board regularly, so I wasn't aware of what happened there. I was surprised that this was not the first time that Ratimov had deleted his topics, and I saw the members' reactions, most of which were angry at these actions.

Whether these actions, as described by the members there, are childish or evil or psychological acts, I believe that the forum administration has the right in such cases to restore deleted topics, because the materials published on the forum become the intellectual property of the forum and the administration has the right to dispose of them.
555  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto arbitrage trading bot development to increase profit on: November 09, 2023, 04:53:39 AM
There is no type of trading with a 100% guaranteed profit. This is far from reality and just propaganda with no proof. I have tried many trading robots and only a few times have the results been satisfactory.

As for arbitrage robots, it is true that they are profitable sometimes, but they contain many problems, because they require speed and having accounts in all the exchanges that have price differences. In addition, these exchanges close withdrawals and deposits as soon as these price differences are discovered.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know about the first public servant paid in bitcoin ? on: November 09, 2023, 04:41:25 AM
It would be better if you put a link to the source of your information.

Anyway, first of all, I am surprised that someone received his salary in Bitcoin in an American state at that early time in 2013, when Bitcoin was only about four years old. What is interesting about the story that I read is that this man was the chief of police and that he officially requested his salary in Bitcoin before the city committee. He was paid by the city commission after they had to use a Bitcoin wallet to fulfill his request.

This indicates this man's insightful vision for the future, as he realized that the future belongs to Bitcoin and that the dollar is declining. What is also nice is that the city committee gladly accepted his request, even though Bitcoin is not accepted in the United States.
557  Other / Meta / Re: Discovered a new type of error! on: November 09, 2023, 04:23:58 AM
There's something I need to understand. Was this topic deleted by Ratimov himself? I mean the famous Beginners and Help Encyclopaedia? That topic is too good to be deleted by the autor. The information therein is superb. I mean, what must have prompted the deletion of the thread? Could it be because the thread was not pinned by theymos or something relating to that.
Yes, unfortunately, this thread was deleted by Ratimov himself, and no one knows the real reasons yet since Ratimov himself did not respond to this thread to explain his reasons.

In any case, it is really unfortunate that this exciting encyclopedia, which was very helpful and useful to beginners, has been deleted. Nothing can be done about that because this is Ratimov’s intellectual property and he has the freedom to dispose of it, but fortunately it can still be accessed through ninjastic.space.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to roll-back Ordinals? on: November 08, 2023, 11:00:15 AM
Most likely the miners will not like what you say, these Ordinals that you call garbage bring happiness to them because it causes higher fees and higher profits for them, the more congestion the more the miners' pockets will be filled.

I sent a transaction a few days ago and the fee was about $2. Two days ago I sent another transaction and the fee was about $3. Today, as far as I can see, the fee is 6.85 USD/tx or more. This has become unbearable.

However, I do not expect that there will be an agreement in the Bitcoin community to end the arrangements because there are parties that benefit from the current situation.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 08, 2023, 04:49:05 AM
One of my biggest mistakes is that I trade against the trend of the market, meaning when a coin rises significantly, I buy from a point that I think is appropriate to enter and hope that the coin will continue to rise, but what happens is that the coin begins to fall after it reaches the peak.

This is a big mistake that I always repeat despite my knowledge of it because of greed, so my personal advice to traders is not to buy if you see a large rise in the price of the coin, because the rise cannot continue forever. The coin will reach a certain point and begin to decline after that.
560  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mining In Iran on: November 08, 2023, 03:35:55 AM
I am not sure that the Kurds have the capabilities to engage in mining in the areas where they live in that region, and the idea was only likely to be correct. But according to the same reasoning, I thought that the Kurds in northern Iraq had better living conditions, especially since they live under autonomous rule far from the central government in Baghdad, and they have great resources in the Tikrit region to produce energy sufficient for them to do everything they want. I would not be surprised if one day I discovered that they use it for mining. I don't have accurate data and this is just an assumption.
Things are not as they seem to you. Yes, after the Kurds gained independent self-rule after the invasion of Iraq, they lived a golden period and enjoyed a good life for a few years, but the situation changed and began to deteriorate.

There have been major disagreements between Kurdish political parties recently, including over how to share internal revenues from border crossings and taxes, how to manage the oil and gas industry, relations with Baghdad and so on. All this led to the deterioration of the economy and the desire of young people to emigrate outside the country.

Look at this for example:
Quote
particularly as Iraqi Kurdistan experiences a prolonged financial crisis. Since 2014, the region has borne the brunt of extreme fluctuations in oil prices, budget disputes with Iraq’s federal government, the war against Islamic State, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, authorities in Sulaymaniyah had difficulty paying public sector salaries, leaving angry government employees lining up outside distribution centers for cash. Several pensioners died waiting in line to collect benefit payments.
https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/03/22/iraq-kurdistan-region-democracy-war-invasion-united-states/

So I don't think the current conditions there are suitable for working in mining.
