1061  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price is below 400$, What next? on: January 15, 2016, 06:22:38 PM
I don't think it will go any lower than $380. most people seem to think that this is a perfect buying opportunity because some stuff have been settled. I personally agree with them.
1062  Other / Meta / Re: Should this person be considered as scammer? on: January 14, 2016, 09:57:12 PM
January 14, 2016 Update: I have received a communication from this said person. Now, he is saying that he has used his money on his shop and can not pay anything now. He now wants to borrow this account and would pay higher amount in two parts on January 20 & 30.

he wants to borrow your account? kind of an odd thing to ask...
btw I don't think it's a good idea to let him have your account. just open a new auction or sell whatever you're selling to the second highest bidder.
1063  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My first deal and i got scammed :( on: January 14, 2016, 04:00:43 PM
red also means that the account have nothing to lose anymore.

you can lock the topic yourself by clicking the "lock topic" button on the bottom left of the thread.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet buying bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 03:58:07 PM
probably not. he's bashing bitcoin at every opportunity. it wouldn't make sense for him to buy something he's trying to get the public to throw away.
1065  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My first deal and i got scammed :( on: January 14, 2016, 03:09:55 PM
Anyway if someone can give him more red trust so he will stoping to scam users here

guess that means you're aware about the trust system... why the hell would you trust that user after seeing that?

well, sorry for your loss. use escrow next time.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto found and is homeless? on: January 13, 2016, 11:55:49 AM

Haha that was an awesome article, cracked me up so bad!!  Cheesy Seriously anyone who hasn't read it yet should do so asap, by the time you reach the end ot the article, you'll be rolling on the floor tears streaming freely down your face  Cheesy

1067  Other / Off-topic / Re: Breaking News Amazon bans authors Crypto Books and Bitcoin Books on: January 12, 2016, 05:15:03 PM
who's sol adoni? never heard of him and looks like he's always claiming (with no proof) this and that on his sites. I'm surprised that there are people who actually buy those books.

http://www.soladoni.com

Lol. Seems like this guy have some problem wit self-esteem...

that's what I meant by his sites. that and several other more. I just never heard of the guy on the internet before. if this (and some few I can't find again) is true--

Quote
In the 1990's Dr. Adoni created the 8 Prime Spirals and destroyed modern cryptology, it is how the NSA now cracks every encryption method. The 8 Prime Spirals were recently tested in PyPrimes and it is the fastest prime number algorithm there is.

--then shouldn't he be well known?

obvious lies are obvious.  Grin

1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 years i accumulated 10 btc, but now, i not have idea...suggestion? on: January 12, 2016, 03:21:35 PM
funny how people save money until it reaches a specific amount and then always wants to spend them right away... how about saving them until you need them?
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto found and is homeless? on: January 12, 2016, 03:02:22 PM
there are way too many stories out there about satoshi. Personally i believe that he died, otherwise he was bound to show himself atleast once in the last couple years, maybe even log into his forum account to show that he exists.

can't because theymos locked it. he'll have to PM theymos with PGP message to get it back.

and yes, there's too many stories about satoshi and many more will pop out once bitcoin is more well known. and only satoshi can stop it.
1071  Economy / Lending / Re: Standard Interets Rates for short term loan on: January 10, 2016, 04:58:39 PM
best rates (in my opinion) are 10%-30% depending on the amount loaned.

for your second question... that's sounds rather ridiculous and is no different from 0.8BTC loan with 25% interest.
1072  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 10, 2016, 04:48:31 PM
it works. tried it few times and got invalid token error twice but couldn't find out what caused it. anyway, the queue is a lot faster now. thanks, dude.
1073  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 10, 2016, 04:10:52 PM
every token posted here just won't work for me.

here's mine http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=fgi8gb6a

edit:
wth it works as soon as I posted this. tho the ones posted above still doesn't work.

edit2:
it still takes forever getting past the queue tho (3 in the queue.). am I doing something wrong? I'm just supposed to wait, right?
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: January 10, 2016, 03:48:17 PM
not using dollar at $1200 but I did buy small amount (0.5BTC) using my easily earned MONA at $1000. spent the thing on cloud mining. and ended up losing a large portion of it.

edited. it was mona not monero.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2016, 03:32:29 PM
yeah. I dream a lot about bitcoin. mostly I forgot about the details though. the most memorable one (which I forgot anyway until I saw this topic.) was the one which I owned a large bitcoin farm... you might think it's a good dream but it's actually far from it because on that dream a war broke out and they nuked my city, destroyed my farm, and exposed me to the radiation.
I think that was the first time I woke up screaming. I blame CIV V for that.
1076  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 10, 2016, 02:22:50 PM
it won't work for me no matter what I do.. always got an invalid token error or the "Please wait. You are number X in the queue." message which never ends.
1077  Other / Meta / Re: ajw7989 (legendary account) my account hacked CAUTION on: January 10, 2016, 01:42:35 PM
shouldn't there be like, a timestamp on that signed message? you know, to make 100% sure that it wasn't signed some ages ago.
1078  Economy / Lending / Re: loan of 0.7 btc on: January 10, 2016, 01:37:13 PM
gmail accounts are not worth anything, old or not. and a loan collateral have to be worth as much as your loan amount, if not more.

1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: January 10, 2016, 01:30:15 PM
to $500 in less than two weeks and to $600 in less than one week after that. then back again to $500 in a flash. completely possible.
1080  Other / Meta / Re: Networking Child boards suggestion under mining? on: January 09, 2016, 11:36:55 AM
I don't think it's needed. IMO new sub board are only needed when subject are discussed so frequently that it floods the main board. right now I see like 4-7 threads a day there and not even a quarter of those are about networking.
