probably you have referral links on the thread. that or it broke some other rule.
402  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Genesis Transaction on: March 29, 2016, 03:27:21 PM
I think no one knows why except for satoshi himself.
but if it is indexed by the clients the coins will become spendable. and that will make satoshi able to fork the network whenever he/she wants.

403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help with Bit core wallet Syncronizing with network on: March 29, 2016, 03:11:03 PM
why not just use SPV clients like electrum or multibit? you won't need to download the whole blockchain with those.
as for your question. I'm not sure what causes it. can you post the debug log?
404  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $10 btc loan -- Just gonna buy csgo from g2a with it on: March 29, 2016, 02:24:36 PM
I could easily earn $10 but feeling kind of lazy okay hoping someone can help out.
This is a very small amount so I don't need a collateral lol.
But umm I will pay you back from my ewhore earning tomorrow pretty much like I said this is a small amount so please don't try to bash my thread about anything extra...

small or not you'll still need collateral with that kind of trust.
405  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.011 BTC Loan on: March 29, 2016, 01:28:41 PM
If I reach 60 posts, then on the next hour from 60th post it will reach Member status.
If I continue to 120 posts (non-stop from current post), on the next hour from 120th post, my account will reach Full Member status. And the rest of the member levels do reach the same away.

you won't be reaching 120 activity until next four weeks because there's a limit on how much activity you can get. that limit is 14 activity for every two-week "activity periods" that you posted in.

That's not how activity works.
You are at 84 potential activity, full member needs at least 3 more activity periods (-> 6 week).

the current activity periods will be over in few minutes so that's 4 weeks (with accuracy).

406  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit-X Payout: 1.2 Bitcoins A WEEK on: March 29, 2016, 01:12:40 PM
last time I checked it was 0.0008BTC per post. which is actually lower than the payment of some sig campaigns.
407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 29, 2016, 12:57:12 PM

Anyone else notice the new spam attack with low tx but high inputs to fill the blocks?

have been around for a while. paying 0.03~ per transaction (usually 99kb). if half of those tx is from one entity then they're losing more than 5BTC per day.

meanwhile. we're going down, down, down, down...  Cry
408  Other / Meta / Re: Anyone noticed the FUD bots in the speculation section? on: March 29, 2016, 12:41:16 PM
such threads usually got deleted pretty quick as long as there's a mod online. at least they're not posting some naked old dude pics like how they used to.  Grin
409  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for 1 person that needs a job. on: March 29, 2016, 11:59:22 AM
I might be interested depending on the job, PM me. however aren't you looking for a job yourself?
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Location of blockchain directory on: March 29, 2016, 11:56:42 AM
The debug log says it is using the file in ~Library/ApplicationSupport/Bitcoin but when I try to find Bitcoin in ApplicationSupport it is not there!!!

I swear I am not crazy

Where the hell is it?

How can it be using a file that does not exist?

Where is the blockchain data being stored on my Hard Drive?

The same thing is happening on my friend's computer as well!

have you tried these methods?

411  Economy / Speculation / Re: 420 on: March 29, 2016, 11:47:36 AM
In case you didn't notice we're having quite some difficulty staying above 400. We've seen similar patterns before and it only ended in a 50% reduction of value. The same we can expect now, possibly even more with the halving-scam going on.

what difficulties? we've only went below $400 once for a very short time ever since the price touched the $400 mark.  afaict the price have been hovering above $410.
412  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for new BTC (or altcoin) Casino in 2016 on: March 29, 2016, 09:06:52 AM
https://coinroyale.com/ doesn't restrict US players. you can try out their games with free credits too (helps me a lot. that).

happy early april fools!
414  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone know best and reliable bitcoin mixer? on: March 28, 2016, 08:08:52 PM
there's also the darkwallet that claims to enable full privacy. I've hear good things about it. though I've absolutely no idea how to use it.

when you withdraw from primedice the coins comes from other address.
415  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone know best and reliable bitcoin mixer? on: March 28, 2016, 07:25:42 PM
I read about bitmixer but it's pretty expensive to mix the coins there specially if you are mixing big amounts of bitcoins.
Is there any reliable free bitcoin mixer? Can't i just deposit my bitcoins to exchange and then transfer it to another exchange and then withdraw to another wallet. This way won't i recieve new bitcoins?

you can do that, of course. but if you're looking for privacy that may be not a good idea because the exchange still knows where the coins came from and where they goes.

let me quote something from bitmixer:
Quote
All exchanges require the user to scan ID documents, and large transactions must be reported to the proper governmental authority. When you use Bitcoin to pay for goods and services, you will of course need to provide your name and address to the seller for delivery purposes.

This means that a third party with an interest in tracking your activities can use your visible balance and ID information as a basis from which to track your future transactions or to study previous activity. In short, you have compromised your security and privacy.
416  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone know best and reliable bitcoin mixer? on: March 28, 2016, 05:48:19 PM
Bitmixer.io . I never got or saw any issues with them. well, maybe one or two but they're unproved.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend had a strange idea on: March 28, 2016, 03:16:19 PM
isn't that illegal is some countries? also that would create a legit reason for banks to go against bitcoin (IMO).
better not do that.

you can move the thread to some other section, edit the OP, and move it back (if you ever want to update an auction OP again.).
