do you actively monitor torrents for illegal stuff?
do you put your own morality stamp on what passes through your server?
No. With that said, please do not download copyrighted or illegal material. so as long as it's legal*, and not copyrighted, you're fine with it? *what country is your server in?

all he needs to do is add ?v=1.1 on his links, or ?v=1.2 ?v=1.3 etc, etc. or if he's using codeigniter-style urls it could work by putting some other dummy variable on the end: eg. change http://blah.com/faq/v1 to http://blah.com/faq/v2 where the 'faq' code may decide to just ignore the version variable then your browser won't show you the cache because it'll think it's a totally different page. Take a look at the source code for https://bitmillions.com/faq - it's just a little javascript, which presumably loads the FAQ content. I tried loading https://bitmillions.com/faq?really! but it gives me the same old cached content since the javascript hasn't changed, it's the deeper content that has. well that implementation kinda kills my idea

Just because they write it off, does not mean it's not a criminal activity.
are you being off-topic intentionally?or are you accidentally confusing the law (not mentioned in the OP) with morality (mentioned in the OP)?nm, read your above post.

Whether or not the victim is actually better off in the long run or not has nothing to do with the buyer's lack of moral convictions.
Of course, we are talking about a teenager in high school. My own mores were not very solid at that age either. But knowingly buying stolen property is still a crime.
also, whether something is a crime or not ALSO has nothing to do with the buyer's morals or lack thereof.

Also, I cant think of _one_ person who would want to have their CC stolen. I don't think personality matters too much there.
i never said he wanted to have his CC stolen, only that having it stolen may have had a positive effect on his life. not knowing him or his situation or his personality, i can't say whether this event was bad or good. I don't really understand what you're saying. How can having something stolen -- not at fault to them -- have a positive effect on his life (not being sarcastic, I actually want to know what you're thinking)? this hardly requires much imagination, so it's perplexing that some may find it difficult, but here's just one of a billion possibilities: guy is lonely, wants a girlfriend guy has cc stolen, goes to bank to address the issue and meets the teller of his dreams guy weds teller and has kids, grandkids guy tells grandkids, "my life really turned around that day, i'm so glad my cc was stolen" looking back, i can say that having had my house burgled in 1993 had a hugely positive effect on my diligence for security and data backups. and i'm glad it happened.

Important: Delete your browsers' cache if you still not seeing this on the page.
It's unreasonable to ask people to delete their entire browser cache whenever you update your site. The cache is there to prevent me having to download the same pages over and over. Is there no way you can get my browser to notice that you've changed the FAQ page without me deleting my whole cache? I've viewer the site in a different browser, and the FAQ really is different there. I'd like to be able to see the new FAQ in my regular browser without then having to re-download all the pages I usually have in my cache. all he needs to do is add ?v=1.1 on his links, or ?v=1.2 ?v=1.3 etc, etc. or if he's using codeigniter-style urls it could work by putting some other dummy variable on the end: eg. change http://blah.com/faq/v1 to http://blah.com/faq/v2 where the 'faq' code may decide to just ignore the version variable then your browser won't show you the cache because it'll think it's a totally different page.

do you actively monitor torrents for illegal stuff?
do you put your own morality stamp on what passes through your server?
is it possible to specify particular files from a torrent, instead of getting the whole thing?
is there a limit to the size of the torrent? (eg. a 50mb .torrent file which maps 500gb of data?)

this kind of transaction doesn't need a fee though does it? i think it's a different case. Yeah, that makes sense. Is there any limit or recommended number of addresses that I should stuff into a transaction?
as a rough guide, and this is only in my personal experience, about 15 addresses per tx just experiment a little there, see what fee you're paying for 10, 15, 20, 25 transactions, etc.

The reserve policy: the funds will be used
if you read the whole thread, you'll see it's already been established that there are plenty of people (probably even more than needed) who will keep a 100% untouched reserve

almost everything has a good and a bad side
eg. the more credit cards that are stolen, the more careful people will be with their credit card numbers
he could be doing the 'victim' a favour... but no-one other than the victim will ever know whether this is the case
you are simply speculating that this is bad from his point of view, when in reality you don't know him, his personality, etc.
life-changing events can also change people's lives in a positive way, despite how unrelated third-parties may judge the event from the outside.

more bitcoins that they thought they needed

With for example 10,000 "true believers" worldwide Now, how realistic these assumptions are is of course debatable
i'd put 100 people or less worldwide in the "true believers" category

If it stabilizes somewhere near here for a while I'll hop back on the train but at this point I'm a little scared.
i remember that *exact* feeling of fear when it went to $2.50 after being relatively stable around 80c - $1 just imagine how you'll look back on this moment in 2 or 3 years.

can you guess which one? i only cash out when i feel forced to like if i'm low on $

Is it really taking up so many resources to leave them as-is?
What's the rationale for removing them and freeing up the urls?
annoying new people who find simple names already taken? (even though dormant)
