my guess is that even the 'average' person would be up for a bit of tax evasion.

Is there a way to merge the tiny inputs into a single larger input?
yes, send the balance to a single address (and pay the fee).
|
|

because BTC is a unit. You don't say USD50, you say 50 USD.
nah, BTC is a symbol, just like $ is a symbol. you don't say 50 $

OT: What's so bad about it? I no get
People like psy (and probably me as well) are going to start squatting on other peoples URL's, and then take the payments which were supposed to go to the original owner. haha if any payments were supposed to go to the original owner, then why has noone, not even for a fraction of a second, visited the link in over 12 months? i think having to hit the link just once per year to keep it active is pretty reasonable, especially considering the service is free/donation-based.
|
|
|
Then you should make this fact clear on your website, that the links are only good for one year if unaccessed.
This. Also you do realize you are creating a spam incentive right. The profitable thing to do right now is via web searches and screen scrapes find every payb.tc address you can and after 1 JAN simply re-register them all to hijack any funds sent there in the future. the point is, it is highly unlikely any funds will be sent there. no one has even hit the links in almost 18 months. i will put a notice up on the website, however.

5) Staged crying responses. If the fuss starts immediately after you leave the room -- or even before you leave the room. Give it 30 seconds, then return, comfort and love, explain the routine in simple terms, leave. If the fuss continues, wait 60 seconds, return, comfort and love, leave. If the fuss continues, wait 2 minutes, etc.
this is good. also in doing this, gradually reduce the amount of verbal communication each time. eg. first time you return talk and explain blah blah blah time for bed, etc. next time it's just 'blah' and eventually it's just silence and only motions to put them to bed.

i'd say BTC1 or 1 BTC, to mimic $1 or 1 AUD

All the previous advice is great. An old home remedy is a small sugar treat at bedtime. We called it sugar coma.
where i'm from we call that a cavity. Use it before bed. before or after sugar treat?

* pick huge number 345978060225 * publish hash of huge number
either make it a really really huge number, or concatenate some secret string to it before you do the hash: sha256(345978060225 . 'WFJIJFDSJF2MZIOWJEFIOWEJ'); * ticket #5 is the winner; publish the huge number and the secret string that you added to the end of it so everyone can check the hash

bump for awful awful mtgox support
unfortunately you're not alone, jbo
Did you have a similar problem? Did you get it sorted? Jason no, i had a completely dissimilar problem, however it also boiled down to awful awful mtgox support. many others have posted their stories here too. wouldn't ever recommend or ever use them again.

after New Year rolls around, i'm going to clear out any payb.tc links that are no longer being used (since over 12 months ago). so any links with a last_accessed_date in 2011 will be archived so those usernames can be made available again to people actually using the site. if you have old links that you want to keep, simply visit your link sometime before 2013 1st Feb 2013. http://payb.tc
