This page shows all sites where your ad will appear

payb.tc

uh, wrong.

you might want to make sure your list is kept accurate so that page's header statement isn't lying.

BitcoinAdvertisers.com is not responsible to 3rd parties that chose to use or disuse our service, your complaint has been noted and that may be addressed in the near future however I will note that the proper place to submit support requests and get the fastest turn around is http://bitcoinadvertisers.com/support.php Thank you.

not complaining, just pointing out a fact (just as you love pointing out facts, andrew).

the fact is the subtitle on that page is incorrect.

your ads will not appear on payb.tc as stated on that page.

For what it's worth, I'll also be watching from the sidelines for now.

1328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: theBTCNetwork - Bitcoin Advertising Network on: May 04, 2012, 07:52:13 PM
I think the 107 other publishers appreciate your decision.

see, that's the kind of rude statement that makes a temporary boycott permanent.

thanks for making the decision easier.
1329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: theBTCNetwork - Bitcoin Advertising Network on: May 04, 2012, 07:45:55 PM
I really do dislike your banter with somebody else on this thread, and your constant attacks on my service, if we want to swtich to 1% fees to keep you quiet we may just do that.

agreed.

sorry andrew, your marketing strategy leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, so i've decided against your service for now.
1330  Economy / Services / Re: Announcing BitcoinAdvertisers.com THE MONEY MAKING MONSTER! on: May 04, 2012, 07:42:49 PM
i have to say i agree with other negative sentiments expressed...

so i've decided to remove the script from payb.tc until andrew bitcoiner turns his aggressive marketing personality down a couple of notches.

(thanks for the bit cents paid so far)

1331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying BitCoins In Australia ??? on: May 04, 2012, 08:39:16 AM
hi all.

I'm having such a hard time buying
bitcoins here in Aus. If anyone is
willing to sell me some via paypal
or knows of an exchange where i
can use an australian bank account
or a credit card then please help me out.

much love.  Smiley

if you want to trade face-to-face, specifying your state/city might be a good idea. PM me if you like, i'm in brisbane.
1332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you newbies think? on: May 04, 2012, 07:02:04 AM
Can you reuse the paypal brand like that?

good luck even keeping that .com domain name from seizure.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open for testing: Bitcoin RPS (Rock Paper Scissors challenge) on: May 03, 2012, 04:29:15 AM
Yeah, I've gotten quite a few tied games it seems like.
Can't wait to see more users, digital rock paper scissors is awesome.

damn, you still keep taking all my money, art Cheesy good job
1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Request: Let's support "bitcoin:" URLs! on: May 02, 2012, 02:50:35 AM
one small issue i see is that having the full bitcoin address as clickable, will make it harder to copy+paste if that's what is needed.

better to have the address in plain text, and then a link next to it.
1335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open for testing: Bitcoin RPS (Rock Paper Scissors challenge) on: May 02, 2012, 01:38:31 AM
i'd like it if you could choose to challenge a specific player when you create a game, instead of leaving your challenge open to the 'public'.

like a forum PM but with an RPS bet attached Cheesy
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open for testing: Bitcoin RPS (Rock Paper Scissors challenge) on: May 01, 2012, 05:12:05 PM
Lost all my money gambling there (0.1BTC)

yeah i've lost most of my small deposit, and i'm pretty sure it's artistisbigshirts who's been winning it all... fun though Cheesy
1337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [ANN] GLBSE has a new look! on: May 01, 2012, 06:19:35 AM
502 error for the site right now. (Sorry if you already know about this, just making sure)

yes, the 502 error certainly is a new look at the moment.

1338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC For Videogames on: May 01, 2012, 06:17:32 AM
If you find any for WoW please let me know. i have 100's of WoW accounts i'd be willing to sell for BTC.

isn't https://www.virwox.com/ one of them?

just a guess Cheesy
1339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Firstbits & short addresses ? on: May 01, 2012, 12:08:34 AM
I just realized I've never paid anyone to their firstbits before ..how the hell would that work?

If I see btc.to/4a1  or  payb.tc/345   <- which part of that am I paying it to and where would I put that in instawallet?

I feel like such newb!  Shocked

edit: I mean I see http://www.firstbits.com/   how the hell do i even get a firstbits address to begin with ?

payb.tc/345

this one would be easy, it would display a full bitcoin address on the page.

for example: http://payb.tc/donate shows my full donation address.
http://payb.tc/alliewonder show the full address of some girl who likes showing off her bewbs on reddit.

those pages also have links to the various API options, such as:

http://payb.tc/donate/qr
http://payb.tc/donate/text
http://payb.tc/donate/json
http://payb.tc/donate/xml

edit: btc.to operates similarly... you just need to put it into your browser's address bar and get the full bitcoin address.
1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New bitcoin.org Clients page on: April 30, 2012, 11:57:53 PM
- i very much agree with erik's wording suggestions (and personally, picked the vertical option).

- i agree with jeff about vetting clients' security/trustworthiness/buginess very carefully first.

- luke's version needs to be killed with fire reserved for more technical, wikipedia-type articles.
