Theoretical question. its always interesting to get an idea of how many of us will continue mining even if the cost out weights return. Maybe the diff will go down but i still have not seen a block per hour change since the drastic 13 to 11usd slide.

When will miners stop mining with the price keep dropping and the diff keep rising?

With majors wallets (10,000s or even 100,000btc) getting deleted would that have an effect on the value? there are less btcs around so the still existing ones are more valuable.

What happens to the BTC in the wallet when a wallet.dat file gets lost or deleted? for example in Poland the an exchange had its 17000 btc deleted. does that mean those coins are gone forever?

Seems like whenever i watch price goes down. I should turn off my pc for a month to return to a $100 btc.
