181  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 StarBets.io 🎲 || A Crypto-based iGaming Platform 🎲 on: March 23, 2022, 08:35:58 AM
I'm really digging the site design!

Just a quick question though. How much of the site's profits go to the users, and how does mining work exactly?

Is there some sort of estimated dividend payout daily for each STAR that you hold similar to how BetFury does it?

But it's always great to see new competitors on the scene that has a great product and is willing to distribute profits. Looking forward to what you do in the future!
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin-instant credit?? on: March 23, 2022, 08:19:49 AM
Does anyone know which sites deposit bitcoin instantly or even litecoin without a confirmation I’m sure you have to wait to withdraw that’s fine but at least credit it instantly?

As far as I know, Sportsbet is offering it?

I know that in the past, Bitsler used to offer this and I loved it. However, I'm fairly sure that they moved to 1-conf.

Bitcoinvideocasino and Bitcoin.com games also used to offer this feature, but again, they don't anymore after RBF became more mainstream.

You could also try BitCasino but I haven't played with them before.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My crypto mining advice on: March 21, 2022, 09:30:59 PM
Are you new to crypto space and you've already purchased your first few graphic cards for crypto mining and now you heard that ETH (the most profitable coin to mine ) is now switching to PoS algorithm? Do not worry yourself too much because

1. Vitalik buterin can extend the merge once again in June
2. It's like 2017 all over again, don't lose guard because crypto miners became the real winners when every left mining.

Even if the merge do happen and profit isn't looking good anymore pls care more about the quantities of the coins you mining not their USD value, in such time mining difficulty will be lower, this was how some turned into whales in 2018 and 2019 bear market while others are busy selling their GPUs.

Sell only if your electricity bill is way too high

Terrible advice.

If you are not breaking even on your miners then you shouldn't run them and should sell them. Sunk cost fallacy at its best.

Also, even if you were making a profit (supposing that Buterin is delaying the merge), how much time are you spending on maintaining your miners? And is it worth the little money that you're getting? Probably not.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 21, 2022, 08:51:39 PM
Very true. It's now or never. Even at play in tournament the other teams will give them a lot of trouble and they need 2 wins if they want to be part of the eight. If Spurs keeps on winning they might be in a bigger trouble because that is the 11th seed which means they are out.
Let's say they will stay at 10th. They win against the Pelicans but the bigger wall will be there. Either the Nuggets, Timberwolves or the Clippers preventing them to move forward.
I don't expect too much with the Lakers anymore. I may have also given up with the expectation of a big come back 20 games ago.

As a team, the Lakers are flat.

The fact that the bulk of their team is extremely old means that the team is not driven mentally to comeback - as there is nothing else to prove. Obviously, physically these people aren't in their peak condition either.

It would be interesting to see how the offseason goes for the Lakers. AD may well leave in pursuit of a better destination.
185  Economy / Gambling / Re: WOWCasino.com | WOW Crypto Casino Official Thread on: March 21, 2022, 08:17:33 PM
Over the years more casinos are up and running in the gambling section of the world and here in the crypto forum. The market is filled with competitors, and the only way one can win is when the interest of the gamblers or clients are being gotten, then the use of that particular casino becomes the winning team.
As a new casino of 2021, what makes you fit to be the best? As truly, here is the very best and right place to be in the crypto community, where there are lots of gamblers.
I would want to ask;
Is your minimum withdrawal and deposit fair enough to cause attraction of more users? (As your site is register before use/access)
Is there a need for KYC verification process?
Trustworthiness is a key factor to success in the online market, is the WOWCasino trust worthy? Cause the moment you loss your trust, it's invariably not coming back easily (if possible).

They have been quite active and also advertising somewhat on the forum, which would suggest that they've got a good grasp on marketing basics and that is a great sign.

I think ultimately, their current model is not going to be very attractive for people. They are a KYC platform (due to licensing requirements) and don't have much other value-add other than a well-designed site.

I would like to see OP potentially reforming the system so that on the home page, you are immediately able to play on a demo account so that people are able to try your service out without having to register per se.
186  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌴 PlataØCrypto.io 🦩 - Crash & NFT Shares - The Casino is yours on: March 21, 2022, 08:05:19 PM
Hi !

Please read our first message on this thread, this project has changed hands and have been relaunched !

Quote
For each NFT that you acquire, you will earn a % of ownership in our casino and earn daily dividends based on the daily wagered volume and not on the casino profit !

This is an interesting concept.

I do think that this is a step in the right direction, but at the end of the day I think that you are going to have to prove your trustworthiness over time before people are willing to buy into your bankroll.

Also, how exactly are dividends calculated? Is there a set percentage of your profits that you give away? Is it volume based? I think clarifying these details will definitely help.
187  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: March 21, 2022, 07:54:46 PM
There is a giveaway on Gamdom's twitter with a guess with a prize of $25 person for every winning guess maybe it will be random but who knows, lucky.
https://twitter.com/gamdom/status/1505952386266775556
It looks so easy I didn't skip this giveaway.

But I saw and just found out withdrawal/deposit is available again on gamdom for Ethereum.

I wish they can change up the giveaways so that they actually reward their loyal customers.

I love Gamdom and play there all the time, but there are way too many entrants. I guess it is low effort and free money still Smiley

Unless I'm missing some existing scheme that would cover this? Correct me if I'm wrong.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite casino reviewer here in Bitcointalk? on: March 21, 2022, 07:36:54 PM
I like BTCGosu and Gamblingbro.

Both of these actually test the casinos as far as I know with real money which is a must for any aspiring gambling review platform.

However, I would probably trust BTCGosu a bit more given the fact that they are run by a more trusted forum member that has been around for longer. Their reviews are very unbiased and great for beginners who are just starting out here.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: March 19, 2022, 11:58:09 PM
All of the games are built on the same foundation, with the exception of skin colour and weapon design. High game entry fees and a high learning curve for new users are discouraging new users from joining the system. Because of the unique teams they have, only early adopters are making a lot of money. The number of unique users registering each day is decreasing, indicating that the hype is fading.

Exactly.

They are essentially thinly veiled ponzi schemes that have no real product and riding on the hype that has been generated over the past year or so under the umbrella term "P2E".

Definitely don't think that the bulk of them are going to be sustainable for the long run. I think that it is a matter of time before the capital inflows stop, and the ecosystem mostly collapses under its own weight.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quit expecting a ETH killer on: March 19, 2022, 11:50:43 PM
It's getting annoying to see people talking about a project is the next Ethereum killer, for how long are we going to keep this up? So far there are so many ETH killers that haven't taken a single shot at Ethereum, this has proven that Ethereum isn't a project that any new coin or token can just take over like that, it has never been easy.

They said

Oasis Network is the next ETH killer but before it was EOS, Cardano, Chainlink, Tezos and a few more, get busy gathering these good projects and stop expecting them to be the ETH killer, not killing ETH won't stop them from becoming very useful smart contract project in this space.

I have to agree with you with this one.

I think that ETH is here to stay, it is the hub of innovation going into the future, and there is no signs of that stopping any time soon.

A lot of the new chains that have come out are based on the EVM anyway, and therefore when ETH2.0 comes out there will be a lot of redundant blockchains out there that will go to zero. It may be worth investing in a few DAG coins though as they are fundamentally different to ETH.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which two coins should I add to my portfolio? on: March 19, 2022, 11:43:12 PM
Hey guys,

after selling all my coins two days ago (including scam like Star Atlas and coins like LUNA that gave me some decent profit) Im planning to restart from 1st April.

I want to have 20% ETH and 80% spread on 10 altcoins (each 8%) with a strong focus on Metaverse-Tokens:

1. 20% Ethereum
2. 8% Solana (SOL)
3. 8% Avalance (AVAX)
4. 8% Shiba INU (SHIB)
5. 8% Polygon (MATIC)
6. 8% Decentraland (MANA)
7. 8% The Sandbox (SAND)
8. 8% Axie Infinity (AXS)
9. 8% Enjin Coin (ENJ)

So basically I need your advice which two coins will fit best to complete my portfolio. You should also consider that I will be able to stake PoS coins on Kraken:

- Polkadot (12% on staking)
- Terra (3-6% on staking)
- Cardano (4-6% on staking)
- Cosmos (12% on staking)
- TRON (6-9% on staking)
- Tezos (5% on staking)

Thanks in advance for your input!

I think that you should concentrate on DeFi/L1 projects instead of P2E/metaverse.

Also, what is SHIB doing in your portfolio? If you are sane, you will understand that SHIB has no place in a long term buy-and-hold portfolio. 8% is not enough to make a difference anyway.

Limit P2E/gaming/metaverse to 10% total - so I would use the extra percentage to cheap L1s like FTM.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HIGHLY UNDERVALUED ALTCOINS on: March 19, 2022, 11:39:03 PM
Greetings comrade, at times, one would feel he really know what the future holds but the case is not totally so. Seeing what coin like Luna, SOlana, BNB,AXS and some others did in terms of massive gain, one would have stalked some really good money and given the projects good time for growth. I understand the journey is really not as easy as one thinks but believe me, I am ready. I already staked some good projects on Cosmo Hub.

I just recommendation of some highly undervalued coins with good use case and not just hype, that one can invest in for 1-3yrs. I have cold wallet, will analyze further myself, I don't need the ones that is too  expensive or with already a huge marketcap.

I look forward to reading comments with reasons if possible please.

Fantom. Good place to buy in because of strong ecosystem, high TVL and cheap pricing.

With Andre Cronje exiting this is a great time to load up your bags in my opinion, as it will have virtually no material difference on FTM's long term future, but price has been down -66% from ATHs.

You could also look at privacy coins like XMR, which are highly underrated for a while now. With sanctions and more regulations, we could definitely see increased demand for these coins.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play to earn game tokens on: March 19, 2022, 11:04:25 PM
I'm not really a huge fan.

I believe that a lot of the games right now are being propped up by the fact that they are able to allow the player to "earn" as opposed to the actual mechanics of the game.

It is quite dystopian really. But if I had to choose one project, it would have to be Enjin - I think that they have the best technology so far and are going to continue to be dominant in the gaming space going forward.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not profitable anymore, Altcoins like Avalanche / Algorand etc. are on: March 19, 2022, 10:50:15 PM
That is interesting.

I think that from the perspective of someone who has rode through multiple bull/bear markets, BTC simply serves a different purpose as a store of value.

New tech always comes out in bull markets and then most go to ashes during the bear market. I don't think that this current bear market is going to be any different - the actual good projects like ETH will continue to survive, whereas the lower market cap coins have a very low chance of actually surviving.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: March 19, 2022, 10:42:57 PM
I frequently see these "simulated reality" games (SRI) listed together with conventional matches.  Huh
As gambler I can think of a lot of questions...

Are these trusted services? Is the result already foreseen before a match or is it managed according to the bets?
Is there a single provider of these encounters or are there multiple services that provide this series of matches?

What is your opinion?

Definitely not worth it, in my opinion.

These games are way too easily rigged or manipulated from the side of the operator, and I don't think that it is good for anyone to pursue them as a player.

Unless, of course, they are provably fair. But I don't think that there is a lot of them out there that is provably fair, and even the ones that have this feature are often riddled with high house edge and other issues.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ethereum still a viable alternative to Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2022, 10:34:43 PM
I wouldn't say alternative.

Bitcoin is like digital gold, a store of value for the people.

ETH is like digital oil, a way for people to make transactions trustlessly on the blockchain and with smart contracts. They simply serve two very distinct and different purposes, and have coexisted for the better half of a decade now. It doesn't really matter to me whether or not the flippening occurs - I hold a healthy dose of both.
197  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🥇 Crashino.com 🚀 Provably Fair Crash Games, Casino and Sportsbook ✌ No KYC on: March 19, 2022, 09:13:06 PM
NFT Giveaway
Please correct me if am wrong but the item activity on OpenSea shows that the last time it was sold it was sold for 0.04 eth wich is around $120. Is this really how much this NFT is worth or am missing something?

Also, I think it will be more fair if the number of tickets will be determined based on the total amount deposited during the month not how many deposits were made (minimum deposit amount = 1 ticket).

Yeah I'm not sure, the floor price seems to be awfully low (now at around ~0.025 ETH).

This is definitely on the low end for deposit/betting related promos, but hey, it's OP's business and we're not here to judge.

I don't agree with changing the format to base entries off deposit volume, though. That is simply going to skew the promo in favour of whales and make it unfair for everyone.
198  Economy / Gambling / Re: sportsbet.io lowers my odds !!!!! on: March 19, 2022, 09:05:28 PM
Whilst this is definitely something new to me, they've explained their stance quite well.

They are a private business and as such, they are able to offer you any deal they want (even 0x payout). It is up to you whether or not you want to take up that offer.

I suspect that they probably spot some activity that makes them think you have a long term edge/you are a whale. To hedge against their own risks, they have lowered your odds. Perfectly fine.
199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DUELBITS.COM STOLE 545$ FROM ME PROOF on: March 19, 2022, 08:36:18 PM
<snip>
As far as understood the issue here, no money has been stolen, not even a cent. The OP has just wager limitation and he refused to have that. He wanted to bet more than his limit. We still do not know what was the reason of his account receiving a bet limit sanction, the OP didn't share the reason behind it. More than that, he just deposited his money, because he did not accept the limit, he wanted to withdraw the funds which he just deposited. That is prohibited since there is a possibility that the money is being laundered.

He did give the reason why the funds were blocked - and that is because he didn't hit a betting threshold.

I personally don't see how money laundering can occur here (or at least on a massive scale). If he wanted to mix his coins he is much better off going to a coin mixer as opposed to a centralised casino.

Besides, this is a very small amount, and it was clear that he wanted to bet on a single event (which has a lower limit than expected). Duelbits has the right to uphold their ToS, of course, but to me this is an honest mistake.
200  Economy / Gambling / Re: [GUIDE] 10 complete steps for new casino into this forum on: March 19, 2022, 08:21:33 PM
Money and a budget is crucial. We're not just talking about the costs of setting up a casino, including license and things like that. But you also need a large budget to be able to pay out players, which is often a bigger expense than the cost of the software itself. It is not the case that everything suddenly runs automatically when you start. You should also invest money in promotions and advertisements on the forum.

Yeah this is a good point.

I see a lot of undercapitalised projects that are popping up left and right.

Some of them even have the audacity to ask for investor funds to get their idea started, even though they have nothing at all to begin with.

You NEED to ensure that your bankroll is well funded, your marketing is done well etc. all before you do your public launch. It's basic common sense in starting ANY business.
