Wow I'm surprised no one is biting at my offer, $1100 w/free shipping for a 1.2th/s miner.  Usually you guys are breaking down the doors for a good deal…lol…

You can use my craigslist posting as a reference, it has multiple pictures showing the unit.  http://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/sys/4621874535.html

I'm also open for ESCROW, but that would be at your own expense.

Could be the nose dive that bitcoin is going through.  It was hard to break even when BTC was worth $600US but now that it's down to the $400's it's near impossible.

so you cant use imgur? the most simple image share?

http://imgur.com/  which probably takes 5 mins to do or less.

I believe this is his craig's list ad with pictures http://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/sys/4621874535.html

I believe he was referring to the price when he was asking if that was the best you could do.

Does this come with any 6 pin PCIe cables or no?  If not, do you offer them for an additional charge?  Also how much would be shipping to the US?  Thank you.

Hello,

This has been a very interesting situation. We have called FedEx several times on your behalf and they claim that all that needs to be done is to have the duties and taxes paid. I have fulfilled your request to have a full refund issued. We have called fed ex and will have the package re routed to us. I am sincerely sorry the miscommunication on your order.

You have the option to request your ZenCloud order to be shipped to you after the 30 day trial period is over. At that time, please open a ticket through our freshdesk system and we will send it out to you.

Sincerely,
Amber

Wow thanks for the information about getting your hardware from ZenCloud.  Could you please elaborate further on this?  Specifically, how long would it take from the time my ticket is received for my miner to be packed up and shipped out to me.  As we all know in this game time is money.  Also, where would the package ship from?

Thank you.

From the terms and conditions at http://gawminers.com/pages/terms-conditions it states:

REQUESTING YOUR ZENCLOUD MINER TO BE SHIPPED TO YOU

You may request your ZenCloud miner to be shipped to you after at least 30 days from the activation date. Once requested, GAW Miners will de-provision your hosted account and will ship your miner to the address specified within a 14-day period.

I guess I should've read that first since waiting 14 days really hurts the bottom line.  Seems to contradict the CEO's mission of bringing back ROI to mining.  I wish I knew about that before I ordered, but could you please tell me where my miner will ship from still?

Thank you.

I am not holding out any hopes for receiving a hosted miner when you request it.

I posted the question in the ZenMiner support area about the process and costs to get the miner shipped to me, 7 days ago. At this moment it's still unanswered.

Given my experience with GAW for getting my miners shipped, I doubt I'm going to see the hosted miner sent to me when I ask. Glad I use credit cards for this stuff.

Update on my miners: Got an email from Amber today telling me that she spoke to Fedex and they have them in Canada waiting for me to pay the duties and taxes. Quick call to Fedex - nope. Lies again.

Big surprise here, they have the shipping request paperwork (which anyone with a Fedex account can open online) but no parcels. They scan each and every parcel they receive, and there are no scans. And Fedex support tracks every call made against the tracking numbers. No logs of anyone calling them about these shipments except me. Another big surprise.

I've explained to Fedex what's going on and how Gaw is using them to perpetrate fraud. They took down the information and have opened an investigation with their security department.

I have contacted my credit card provider and they made notes about this as well. As I can't process a chargeback until a certain number of days after the order, I have to wait a bit but I've copied and forwarded all emails, Support conversations and invoices to them in support of the claim.

BUY FROM GAW/ZENMINER AT YOUR PERIL

Yeah that's the one reason I bought from them and probably the reason a lot of people bought from them was that they are one of the few that accept credit cards.  I imagine that there are going to be a lot of disputes against them at this rate.

Just curious if people are buying these to prepare for the S1 upgrades that are coming out soon.

I haven't but it was said somewhere on hashtalk (I think) that it may take up to two weeks. What's unclear to me is if the miner continues to mine until the moment it is actually shipped, or if they take if off as soon as you request it. If you're concerned about it I'd suggest to ask about it by filing a ticket with Zen first, they are or at least used to be more responsive than GAW.

Yeah that wasted time sitting in a box or on somebody's desk for a week would be hard to swallow.

I basically got the same run around.  They create the waybill and send that information over to FedEx so FedEx creates a tracking number and hands that over to them.  From there they sit on it for a week or so before they actually send the package over to FedEx for delivery. For my order it was a little over a week before they actually sent a box over to FedEx.  They certainly can not blame the delay on FedEx for taking so long for the tracking to show up.  FedEx and UPS are incredibly efficient and can pretty much knows where the package is the minute they receive the package.  For GAW to use this electronic waybill creation to try to fool us that the package was shipped really insults our intelligence.  I opened tickets as well only to have them ignored for a week and then when they did answer the ticket they just asked me was it for this order # or that order # (I had 2 pre-orders open) when all that information was in the ticket already.  So once again another stall tactic.  When it finally did ship they closed the ticket and when I asked for compensation for the delay as they advertised I was told that somebody else would contact me.  Of course never heard from anybody again and when I tried to reopen the ticket I was denied.  In the end it wasn't worth the hassle or trying to argue with them since thankfully it was just a small order.  I'm sure they bank on people giving up as well to increase their bottom line.  Sure it works short term, but in the long run it will catch up to them.
RUN, DON'T WALK!

Wow, you've documented EXACTLY what's going on with me since August 1. I ordered 3 Falcons at 3:50 pm EST and paid $214 for Priority Shipping, expecting them to go out that evening or at latest the following Monday. Nope. It's been a web of lies and bullshot ever since.

I attempted to find out what was going on by calling Fedex directly each time, and each time Fedex was able to tell me when I called and what about, and had no records of a pick-up or drop-off from GAW. No records on them contacting Fedex either, though GAW support's "shipping manager" claimed to have long involved discussions with them, saying that Fedex was trying to contact me for Customs duty payment. But Fedex told me that because they didn't have the parcels and Customs was unable to inspect them, they didn't need any payment from me.

Fedex confirmed that they just sent the shipping documentation for pre-processing and no parcel scans indicated that nothing followed the paperwork.

I used the GAW Support area but they stopped replying. I tried their 866 number but it's disconnected. I finally used Chat and asked what was going on - George Colon claimed to go talk to the shipping manager to resolve the situation. Then nothing. When I tried to use Chat again, I was told they could do nothing more for me.

The lies have continued. I contacted Amber who told me she'd followup. She did, saying she'd talk to the shipping manager. And then the line went dead again, and then more fiction about him having called Fedex. She's also stopped replying.

I've been reasonable and polite, and have finally resorted to demanding immediate shipment of my miners, refund of my Priority Shipping fees, and reimbursement as per their guarantee for the lost mining time.

Today I got an email saying my miners have shipped. I see they've opened a new Fedex request, this time with pick-up requests for 3 boxes. At the present moment (12:10 PM PST) Fedex does not show anything more than receiving the shipping paperwork and pickup request, so I'm highly skeptical that anything will arrive tomorrow.

This is fraud. Their same-day shipping guarantee is not a guarantee at all. At least I paid by credit card so if the miners don't show up tomorrow there will be a charge-back and complaint lodged.

On the ZenMiners side - I also have a miner hosted. I've asked what the process is to get it shipped. So far, a week later, no response from ZenMiners support.

How much do you want to bet that ZenMiners/GAW is skimming off the top of your mining, as they don't allow you to enter your own BTC address for the pool?

How much to you want to bet that getting possession of your paid-for miner will be even more arduous than getting a non-hosted miner shipped?

How much do you want to be that they will keep charging you for hosting fees long after you've demanded your hosted miner is shipped to you? And that it will take weeks/months to receive the unit, if in fact you do?

As I said before, RUN, DON'T WALK.

GAWMiners is running a very profitable FRAUD.

Your story sounds worse than mine!  Sorry to hear about all your problems.  I'm also worried about my zen hosted miner and the lack of transparency on there.  Skimming would be so easy for them.  I'd like to have mine shipped out to me as soon as the free hosting is up, but I totally fear the run around and I still haven't heard from anybody how the process works.  Do we open a ticket with GAW or do we open a ticket with zen?  I'm also worried that this would be a huge target for hackers.  There's just so many possible things that can go wrong.  Please make sure you enable the two factor authentication on there.  I don't have much on there, but can you imagine somebody with a ton of products hosted there.  If your email address that you use with zen gets hacked they can just simply send a forgotten password request.  From there they transfer all your bitcoins to their wallet and on top of that they can open a ticket to have all your miners sent to them.  Also the whole activation process gets me a little nervous too.  I just got an email with a code to activate my miner.  Sure it was a long code, but what if some lucky bastard guessed the code or just kept trying random codes with a script and it activated a newly purchased miner from somebody else on their account.

Has anybody out there requested their miner to be shipped to them?  Could anybody please enlighten me to the process and how long it takes?
1072  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GAW Miners on: August 13, 2014, 02:58:37 PM
I would recommend that no one keep coins online there to avoid having your BTC at risk.  Marketing hype is not a security standard.

my primary concern is delivery of the hosted equipment.  They say they will ship when I ask but given that they turned it up within minutes leads me to believe that I am not mining on my "purchased miner'....don't get me wrong, I appreciate that I begin mining nearly immediately, but I am curious to see what happens when I ask them to ship it to me.

Depends how you define your miner.  I'm assuming that they don't just store inventory on a warehouse shelf.  I'm guessing that as soon as product comes in they start working on getting them mining.  That's how they can just about instantly activate your "new order".  Or it could just be one giant hash pool that they have and they just have something running on zen miner that carves out the hash rate of the miner you bought and draws out a pretend graph with a plus or minus variance to make it look like an actual miner.  That's why I would like to see a little more transparency on zen miners and the ability to mine directly into a pool of your choice and directly into your own wallet.  Why shouldn't people be able to mine on a pool of their choice and enter backup pools of their choice and directly into their own wallets?

From their front page:

08-13: Pool upgrade in progress. Mining works fine in background. Stats back at ~ 03:00 UTC.

LOL I'm such an idiot for not checking the main page.  Thanks for the info!

At least you have yours' in hand. Mine has been bouncing all over sort facilities for the last 7 days. When I paid for fedex shipping, it some how ended up in usps ground service. Just the confusion about arrival dates and "overall" confusion throughout the process has been trying.

I really hate to be that disgruntled person, i'm really trying not to come across and bashing GAW. But this process has been a real pain in the ass. I am sure it causes brian un needed work hours spent on support when proper communication and practice at the front end would just solve most issues.

Week 7 turns into week 10/12 by the time I get the thing and by then your selling them half of what I paid and difficulty has doubled in the mean time.

I have "in hand" products i ordered after the GAW one. It is just frustrating, we aren't playing video games here. Most of us take this seriously, so we expect it in return.

Sorry to be "that guy" but my order hasn't been smooth so far. As a first time customer.

I would never deal with GAW ever again.

They have a FRAUD system in place to delay your shipment for a month or more...
While they use your money and run your miner...
And the people on the phone systematically lie to you about your miner.

(1)  After you wait for 2 weeks they LIE... and tell you "miner will be drop shipped from China".

(2)  More time goes by and they start opening FAKE FEDEX TRACKING NUMBERS...
They send Fedex all the shipping information... but DO NOT ACTUALLY SHIP A MINER.

(3)  So they send you a real Tracking Number (without a miner being shipped)..
And you end up calling Fedex who are confused about the whole thing.

(4) When you can GAW they say, "Hmmm... we've never seen this before".

(5) They will even tell you the miner is in stock... but won't ship it.

This is straight-up premeditated FRAUD in Connecticut...
They are defrauding the Customer, the bank, and Fedex...
They are selling heavily used miners as new (and practically admitting this it by offering "rebates")...
The tools lying on the phone would sing like canaries...
A Class Action suit would probably bankrupt them... and send the CEO to jail.

Lawyers just love shit like this.

A class action suit sounds a little extreme though.  I'm hoping that it's more growing pains than flat out fraud.  The only people that make out during a class action law suit are the lawyers.
1076  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GAW Miners on: August 11, 2014, 03:08:22 PM
I had a bad experience with a pre-order and late shipping with GAW.  Communication was horrible with them and emails went unanswered for a week and when they did answer they just asked me another question about my question to delay so another week went by.  Basically they promised shipping by x date.  On x date they created a shipping waybill and sent me the tracking number trying to make it seem like they shipped the product.  Well the FedEx tracking number they sent me just said that they created the shipping but never actually shipped the item.  They physically presented the item to FedEx a week later.  In the end I did get my miner late.  When I complained they promised that somebody else would contact me with information about compensation but that never happened and they closed my ticket of course.  I was one of the suckers burned on the Fury.  Pre-ordered it for $109 but by the time I got mine they were down to $80 and now you see them on their site for $35 sometimes (Oneminer).  I'm sure if I pushed the issue with them they would get me my compensation, but with scrypt mining rates in the toilet my time is worth more than that.

That sounds like my story.........but I kept at it & got my compensation  Wink  Like I said Amber was the only one who I could communicate with & her hands were tied as to getting anything accomplished  Roll Eyes

I've moved on to Zoomhash, they actually answer their phone & communicate very well & shipped my units in a very timely manner  Cool

Gonna give ZigHash a try, they take Paypal, like Zoomhash does  Wink  Let ya know how that goes in a few days.

Glad to hear you got your compensation.  The frustration just wasn't worth the hassle to me.  One of the reasons I went with GAW in the first place was that they were one of the few places that accept credit cards.  I also ended up getting an Antminer S3 through them again because of the credit card payment, but let me know how it works out with ZigHash since they take Paypal.  It'll be nice to have options.  As far as the Antminer goes, it came with one month free hosting which seems to be going well for now.  The order came up within 24 hours and it's hashing away, but the statistics seem to be lacking.  Payouts are once a day and all you can see is your hash rate and which pool you picked.  Everything else is pretty much invisible.  You don't enter your own account or worker info so basically it is on the honor system that they are paying you the correct amount.  Now my next worry is how much of a hassle it is going to be to get my miner shipped to me once the free month is up.
1077  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GAW Miners on: August 11, 2014, 02:54:13 PM
Things are not that good right now, all I can chalk it up to is that the owner is not focused on the core business. There's a lot of marketing, advertising, new incentive programs, and things like that going on (such as the purchase of btc.com for a million bucks).  Support questions go on unanswered for weeks, they tell you to go on hashtalk for "community support", equipment does not ship on time. They also recently merged with zenminer and so the cloud management software they have is a mess at the moment, incorrect charges are appearing, bugs with maintenance fees, coupons raise the cost of an item rather than subtract. Right now, they want customers to leave bitcoins deposited for "points" that you can trade in, but they haven't disclosed how bitcoins will be secured and why they want customers to leave bitcoins in accounts there. I'm waiting for my miners to be delivered like other posters here and once they are I'll move on. They also got into some weird fight with Gridseed that made no sense either with lots of allegations. The owner is giving bluster to KNC right now about pre-orders for the Titan product, but they have a pre-order miner (Vaultbreaker) that they haven't delivered yet either. It's a giant windstorm of nonsense and meanwhile customers like us are paying the price while their management is heavily distracted. Also, they have their staff in these forums peppering threads and urging people over to hashtalk for answers... it just ain't right.

I'm guessing they have their hosting center full of Vaultbreakers at the moment and they're mining scrypt coins to death before releasing them to the consumers.  I'm curious to see what they do with all their purchases, but I'm guessing they're expanding too fast.  If they can't get shipping their products down or have the man power to handle support then this has failure written all over it.

Speculation about drop in network hash rate? Moneropool.com dropped 3 MH?

They might be having network issues or under attack I'm guessing.  Some of my miners are getting timed out going there.

Sounds like you might be pushing it running 3 miners on 1000 Watts.  Still $50 for the adapter + shipping without the power cables sounds kind of pricey to me especially considering the cables are $9 each for 6 of them you're talking another $54 + additional crazy shipping.
