So aside from Coinbase what do US based users use to convert to fiat?

Thanks for doing this experiment. In my mind I would think nicehash because you are switching directly to the most profitable coin and getting BTC credited immediately whereas the other two you have to wait for the alt coin to mature and then you have to wait for the exchange and we know as that happens the price changes. It may change for better or it may get worse who knows. Of course nicehash also charges a big fat 3% too.
The competition would be around zpool and miningpoolhub and I think zpool would have the better results. Nicehash is just attracting a lot of beginners to their pools but have larger fees. I think if the general overall price of all alts are rising you will do better on zpool or mph, but if they are dropping you would do better on nicehash since the multipools are really just chasing the high prices. It's just a theory and lord knows I've been wrong many times before but I'm looking forward to the results.

Almost shit myself 5 hours on the run and already dead dashboard My 4 units are running rock solid for almost 2 weeks with APW3++ in 110v... what PSU and voltage are you using? Did you checked the temps? They are running on a APW3+ with 220V Top is never over 70°C mostly around 60-65 depending on the board. But Its working again. A simple reboot did the trick. Still I almost felt it dropping in my pants lol I find when I lose internet connection for more than a few minutes my hash boards start getting a lot of xxxx's and they hash at like 100mhs but a reboot fixes it for me. I know the feeling the first time I saw that my heart dropped.

Is there a way to export the private key(s) from a core wallet in text form, so it can be imported into another wallet?
yes i did it years ago . you can dump the key to an address then import the key. that is not the hard part. You're right! Pretty easy. http://bfy.tw/DC9WMine was a little bit more of a pain to export and import. I thought I would just have to do my receiving addresses but in QT there are all these change addresses that are also associated with your wallet. It wasn't just a simple dumpprivkey <address>. Sure that get the majority of your coins but there are still some change addresses in there. If you do you a dumpwallet "<filename>" and you look at that file there are a bunch of addresses in there to import as well. I might be wrong, but that's what I did. There's probably an easier way too I imagine.

yes i did it years ago . you can dump the key to an address then import the key. that is not the hard part. the hard part is making sure you have a proper bcc wallet. and I am not so sure the one I downloaded is proper one. I can now pull the small amount of bcc I have on hash nest and on bittrex send it to my 'new' bcc wallet if I get the new bcc to take a bcc deposit at least i would know it is a bcc wallet. i would then import the smaller core wallet address hoping to see about .014 bcc would then import the bigger core wallet address hoping to se 8.07 bcc if all that works I could send the coin to bittrex hoping to get confirms and maybe trade the 8 bcc for 1 btc. or I could do nothing nada and hope for bcc to take off. or I could sell most of my btc and hodl the bcc hoping for a huge bcc rally in a month or two. I'm in the middle of syncing my BCC wallet now. I wished I had a large enough spare SSD drive for it because it's taking forever to sync. I ended up just using Bitcoin ABC wallet. I'm not sure if it's working properly or not yet and I probably won't know for another day or so as the wallet syncs. After that I would have to do a test and send a small amount. Of course if the network is still slow who knows how long it would take to confirm. Then after that I can send a larger amount. So by the time I'm all set and done I'm hoping to hit that rally you're talking about in two months.

hi, I get crashes on SIGT miner sometimes. Here is the screenshot: Is it Oc issue? Cards are on %80 TDP and +120 Gpu clock. This happens sometimes within hours but sometimes like once in 2 days. Any idea? Miner is: CCminer Skunk V 1.0 Mine used to crash often as well but I found out that I was using the stat option in my password that would cause the crash. After taking that out mine has been running stable.

Hey All, Just a quick question. I bought about 10 D3 in the last/first batch at 2699 USD each and just bought some at 1599. I am quite surprised to see why Bitmain would discount the miners by over 40% all of sudden. Am I missing something here? Needless to say a part of me is dying inside slowly, saying I should have waited. Is this a common thing bitmain does? I know Baikal did a similar thing but that was more from a competition and spec perspective but why bitmain. Clearly I am in shock Thanks for the replies in advance
Shipping date is month after your batch. You will get more then 1000 USD per D3 per month. Hopefully the difficulty doesn't jump too high and batch one and two buyers can make that money back before batch 3 ships out.

Looks like Bittrex is taking BCC deposits now

Going to be lots of screaming about inside trading.
I see lots and lots and lots of litigation against bittrex for not allowing bcc deposits but allowing trading of bcc for other coins.
I see lawsuits against coinbase for not crediting bcc to those that held btc there.
I also see wild times coming this was a huge money grab by bittrex by not allowing deposits of bcc .
Any exchange that did not take bcc deposits but allowed bcc trading is going to worry about being sued.
Oh well.
I think even if you were allowed to deposit into there the blocks are so few and far in between that it would take quite a while to transfer into there. Hopefully the difficulty adjusts soon. Plus once you can deposit in there that might open the floodgates for people to dump on there as well.

Yeah I just went through the process of transferring all my coins from my old wallet to a newly created wallet. Remember to change all your mining accounts to mine to your new address on your new wallet. You still have to keep your old wallet to get your last payments out when they do come in. Once I have enough confirmations I'll start up the BCC wallet and import the keys. Anybody have any advice on which BCC wallet to use?

I having second thoughts about this Vega lineup.....1070 and 1080ti are already king in ZEC and a whole bunch of ccminer algos.
Vega Gaming version even with fast HBM2 will be better?
Maybe a price tag of below $200 will change my mind...
Aren't you guys worried about the ZEC price because of speculation about the backdoor? Are you holding all your ZEC or trading for something? What backdoor is this? I heard about jp morgan jumping onboard and buying up millions of tokens... but backdoor? Rumors and speculations: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1677603.340Based on two posts by one guy that zec has a back door used to hack a companies server. I quote this as I am going back to delete the original posts. and it looks like I forgot to add that when I opened this thread. So I may close thread as there are some other posts I am looking to delete. Yeah I'm pretty sure that AlphaBay got busted because he leaked his email address when he first opened the forum section.

L3+ auto re-start by itself every few hours or 10s hours of running.
Is this normal or any idea what is causing the restart? as I dont see any log for specific error.
However, my hashboard 3 always get the some HW error. The temperature should be within the accepted range of not going beyond 72/73 on No1 and others below 68.
Just hope this is not the sign of RMA coming.
Mine do the same thing. The longest I have seen it up and running is about 2 1/2 days but on average I would say it reboots about every 20 hours on its own and I've been running mine since June like that.

Easy. Assuming your running Windows 10 Copy the "MyMining.bat" file in your Claymore directory. Create a shortcut on the desktop. Press WIN+R and type shell:startup Cope the shortcut into the folder. Done. That's awesome, thanks. I never knew about that. You don't know how many times I hated drilled down to the appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup folder.

Tested: +1Mh/s on 1080ti, and 0.75Mh/s on 1080 non FE! Thanks you're doing great work! Unfortunately keeps crashing for me every 10 minutes. Do you have your .bat file to loop? I have -i 25 set for intensity too. I tried intensity from 22 down to 16. I don't have my bat file looping at the moment.

So can you use all 13 PCIe slots as well as the M.2 slot as a boot device or do you lose some of the PCIe lanes when you use the M.2 slot? If the M.2 slot still works with 13 cards in I guess you could potentially add a 14th with the M.2 to PCIe adapter but for my purposes I'm just looking for a boot device.

Can someone explain the rationale for going with the A5 over the D3? For the $10k price of one A5, you can get three D3. 30GHs vs 45GHs - seems obvious to me. Is it just power efficiency?
That and the D3 preorder is sold out while the A5 preorder is still open. Others with limited space might want the density.

$10,000 per unit might be a bit high for me with their track record.
