121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: did anyone snag an amd 6800 or 6800xt on: November 19, 2020, 02:21:35 PM
Yeah I completely struck out as well.  I kept refreshing websites and the most annoying was newegg.  It went from no results for rx 6800 to a page full of them sold out within 5 seconds.
122  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Going to sell off all Nvidia 1000 series cards on: November 12, 2020, 04:32:33 AM
That's a lot of gear Phil.  I might be interested in some cards.  Not the hybrids though.  I've been looking for 3080's but there's like zero stock for them.  I'm sure the 6800's will be the same with limited stock.
123  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Trusted Reseller ASIC GPU on: September 26, 2020, 04:44:26 AM
S17 or S19 with a price that (hopefully) ROI under a year at 5c/kWh.

if you have free power a 50th s17 makes  $3.61 a day if your power is 5cents it uses 56 kwatts or 56 x .05 or 2.80 net profit of 81 cents a day so .81 x 365 = $300 usd for an s17

a s19 makes 6.86 a day it uses 80 kwatts or 80 x .05 = 4.00 so profit is 2.86 a day

365 x 2.86 = $1044 usd for a s19

good luck finding those prices

It's kinda depressing when you put it that way.  LOL
124  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [VOUCHED] Unlimited Google Drive for 0.9$ on: September 02, 2020, 11:43:30 PM
Just wanted to drop a quick note to say that I requested an unlimited Google Drive from Tomioka1.  Within 15 minutes I was up and running with the drive!  I've only had the drive for a little bit but I will report back if it stops working.  Great service.  Thank you very much.

This seems to get more complicated.

But I will effort to do this as you want.

I will contact the guy from teslawatt and see what he says.

If they are in NC shipping is quick and easy

If they are in NV shipping sucks.

I sent you an email and gave you a cell phone number.

I know how kids can be. I also know how real world shit gets in the way.

I will email you and teslawatt and send a cc to me. Later tonight.

I will see what happens.

Let me know how you make out Phil and I will send you the bitcoin to escrow.

I might be interested in one with escrow through Phil of course.
129  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Minecraft for Windows 10 CD Key on: July 15, 2020, 02:33:55 AM
Me too!
I need 3.

I've had no luck finding any.  I guess it's not as popular of a sell anymore.

It was loud and awesome!  Thanks for the tour.  I'm a bit jealous but I can totally see how it goes from a nice hobby to work real quick.
134  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: I have some m10 units on hand Asking 700. on: November 21, 2019, 04:08:13 PM

Hey Phil.  I might be interested in two of them.  I just need to check some power and space issues and I'll get back to you.
136  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Going to be selling a thread ripper rig. on: August 06, 2019, 01:55:15 PM
Unfortunately I was trying to crunch the numbers last night and they just weren't working out for me as much as I would want this system.
137  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Going to be selling a thread ripper rig. on: August 05, 2019, 07:39:35 PM
Nice system Phil and very tempting.    You mention 4 Vega 56 but in the op you only linked to two product descriptions and the pics I think you only mentioned 3 plus a 560?
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I purchased a new ryzen amd ryzen 9 3900x pc on: July 10, 2019, 02:14:18 AM
Good luck with the system Phil.  I'd like to see if PCIe 4.0 does anything for the system whether it be mining or day to day use.  I know they have some crazy high speed NVMe drives that are supposed to take advantage of PCIe 4.0.  Looking forward to your review.
139  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Innosilicon launches new enhanced T3+ BTC miner at 57Th/s on: July 10, 2019, 02:07:06 AM
This is tempting but unfortunately I haven't ordered any new equipment since the Trump tariffs.

Not sure how many people bought from Newegg recently but please check your credit cards if you used them:

https://techcrunch.com/2018/09/19/newegg-credit-card-data-breach/

Newegg is clearing up its website after a month-long data breach.

Hackers injected 15 lines of card skimming code on the online retailer’s payments page which remained for more than a month between August 14 and September 18, Yonathan Klijnsma, a threat researcher at RiskIQ, told TechCrunch. The code siphoned off credit card data from unsuspecting customers to a server controlled by the hackers with a similar domain name — likely to avoid detection. The server even used an HTTPS certificate to blend in.

The code also worked for both desktop and mobile customers — though it’s unclear if mobile customers are affected.

The online electronics retailer removed the code on Tuesday after it was contacted by incident response firm Volexity, which first discovered the card skimming malware and reported its findings.
