1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas Fee Super High Now! on: January 11, 2019, 06:53:45 PM
What do you guys think about this Gas price surge since Saturday I think. I have been monitoring gas price the whole day today and gas price is ranging from 40 gwei - 75 gwei. This will affect ICO and bounty distribution as they will get high fees in transferring tokens to other wallets. I just hope it becomes normal again like 8 gwei - 10 gwei per transaction.

I remember what it was, just because of the large amount of spam in the Ethereum network. This usually happens when you distribute new coins or promotions from a particular project.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "What will ACTIVATE the next BULL RUN?" - CZ Binance on: January 11, 2019, 06:51:29 PM
Our CEO at www.elrond.com once said: "Ignore the noise, think bigger, plan long term" - so regardless of current market sentiments good projects ought to focus on the tech we must deliver - focusing on the BULL RUN too much just distracts teams from achieving their goal.

In regards to the tech I'm talking about - Check out this thread and see what I mean: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4430681

Thoughts?

I noticed that many people are aimed at the stabilization of the market, with its own name, but as kriptonyte no such person, that all would bezprikoslovno believe - it is not working.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: January 11, 2019, 06:45:45 PM
If you are talking about a growing trend-it is quite possible, but here is one point you missed... there are many people that are left in the field, are long-term investors, so quiet the last year only plus.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo and Ethereum. on: January 09, 2019, 06:23:41 AM
I wonder what is the best platform for Initial Coin Offering and is a good long term investment. You guys give me advice.  Cry Cry  I am really confused about this issue.

There is only a matter of tastes and preferences. I personally love NEO because of the lack of noisy and unfair stories and the support of the Chinese government.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is responsible for the scam project on: January 09, 2019, 06:17:27 AM
Who is responsible for fraud projects. doesn't that cause a lot of losses and what punishment is worth.

It is unlikely that someone should bear real responsibility for this problem. Of course, we all dream that someone caught and punished scammers. Indeed, it is much easier and more enjoyable to work without fear of the risk of fraud and loss of money. But such a risk will still remain in the future.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: January 08, 2019, 08:39:55 AM
This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.

The easiest way to keep your own account safe is to have an offline wallet. It will be available only to you, but for greater security, you can give it to someone.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an ICO team is anonymous, is it a scam? on: January 08, 2019, 08:38:01 AM
When deciphering between legit and scam ICO's, one of the main things everyone says is "you have a look at the team and see if they're transparent."

The thing is, the whole ideology behind decentralization is that it gives the public control over the economy's trajectory, rather than centralized and specific entities.

I see the Virternity Project, for example (https://virternity.com/), which prefers anonymity, but I'm not sure it means it's a scam ICO.

from their FAQ:

"Why aren't you revealing who is in your team?"

"The members of our team are enthusiastic about the idea of creating the Virternity space for the whole world. We want to avoid “buy-outs” of our specialists and co-workers, and also avoid pressure on them.

Also, given the limited financing at the initial stage, we are using anonymity as a shield for our technological secrets—the specifics of our current and future developments.

Many members of our team have serious jobs in major firms and do not want to advertise their participation in a non-commercial project, in order to avoid conflicts of interest.

In the future, once these factors are less of an issue, we plan to publicly name the founders and key personnel."

Satoshi remains anonymous..

Thoughts?

I personally invested in one project that did not show the faces of the creators and organizers. What do you think happened? They went public and helped us make money.)
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's time to buy altcoins on: January 08, 2019, 08:35:37 AM
if you want to invest in altcoins, this is the right time for you, because all altcoins are very cheap, buy good altcoins like the one below:

1. ripple
2. cardano
3. Holo
4. nem
5. dogecoin

Now a very ambiguous situation is emerging on the crypto market, no one can accurately predict further developments. But I still believe in the great potential of good coins. Therefore, now I continue to invest part of the money in the purchase of reliable coins from your list.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What token do you expect in 2019? on: January 07, 2019, 05:32:37 AM
I believe in blockchain projects. They did not just decide to create their own product and promote it in this market. So they have some plans for a falling and growing market.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is better than Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2019, 05:30:02 AM
It all depends on the purpose of application and what you are interested in. If as an investment, then they are roughly on an equal footing in profitability/risk comparison.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments ban all privacy cryptocurrencies ? on: January 07, 2019, 05:27:26 AM
I'm considering to buy and hold some privacy coins for long term. I read some articles and they said governments are taking harsh stances on privacy coins. Do you think they will ban all privacy cryptocurrencies by prohibiting exchanges to list those coins?

Is there a reason they should be blocked? Personally, I somehow do not understand why cryptocurrencies can block at all. This is not music or art that can somehow offend someone.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next month early January 2019. on: January 03, 2019, 08:29:05 AM
I would just analyze the market and see which way it will move and how quickly to gain volumes. I think on the eve of news from the SEC some movement we will notice.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid money on: January 03, 2019, 08:26:46 AM
A minor fall of BTC and stupid money goes panic selling.

Get it into your head:
-unless you have a really really really large investment in  BTC, BTC won't bring you as much profit as the best alts that have not already been too pumped up will
-BTC is not end all of all crypto. It is important but crypto does not depend on it
-crypto will not die, it will grow much much much bigger so stop panicing!
-if you chose good alts, you have nothing to panic for! If you don't trust you chose good alts, you shouldn't have invested in the firyt place
-buy BTC with FIAT!

The average level of education of current investors is quite low, which is why they act rashly. When it appeared, this kind of investors listened to the opinion of a personal consultant.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first risk-free ICO with money back guarantee on: January 03, 2019, 08:24:27 AM
Dear community,

Has anybody seen the video by YouTube blogger Keith Wareing, where he is taking interview with Eric Van Loon, who is Co-Founder of Tachain project...?

Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTetuEiiSns

Guys are offering risk-free investment opportunity, in my opinion this is a great idea which might change the way people think about ICOs and participate in them.

I personally have lost a portion of my money by investing in ICOs last and this year, but this idea is just brilliant - you can wait for 1 year, see what happens to the project and then (before they go mainnet) decide what to do - either to stay with the project and get mainnet coins, or to exchange them back into the same amount of ETH/BTC invested.

I personally love the project itself, had been following it for some time, but have not invested yet. Now I am pretty sure I will invest something. If anybody is interested, please check their web-site and share your opinion: https://tachain.io/

What do you guys think? Let's share our opinions, really interesting.

Thank you!

You know how weird that sounds. Not a single venture capital project will not give such a guarantee, and you believe that this is possible through cryptocurrencies?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: January 02, 2019, 07:52:02 AM
Pretty good thing for me. Many people create dozens and hundreds of accounts to win the lottery and win a place to participate in the ICO, and with such a system they would be able to do it with much greater problems.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: January 02, 2019, 07:49:51 AM
When you have a purchase price and the current price is 60% different, then this is really the only thing you can do. It is no longer reasonable to sell, and few people like such losses.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth <100 $ on: January 02, 2019, 07:47:38 AM
Friends, the price of ETH continues to fall, what is waiting for the coin? Will its capitalization fall? Will ethereum lose third place?
Although my personal opinion is that since it’s certainly a top coin, we don’t have to talk about sunset in the new year, they promise us to increase its potential with the help of code improvements, not so long ago Buterin even became a professor, what do you think about Ether?
And how do you think the whales have lowered the price and filled their hooks to them to pack it next year? Or is this theory a mistake?

I do not agree that this is a top coin. At the moment, from a technical point of view, there are much more good projects that investors can not notice, but programmers and enthusiasts notice.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any chance market bounce back to where it was on: January 01, 2019, 08:57:53 AM
For 2 months, market is not consistent. In the past, I have seen worse but the market bounced back well. The current scenario is so weird for me. Almost all the currencies, I have been holding has fallen to where it was when I bought. Can the market ever be back? Im a part time miner by the way.

Chances of course are, but everything takes time. I would rather see a systematic growth, to those positions, than another sharp jump, which will lead to anything, but not stability.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Put 100$ per month in Crypto currencies on: January 01, 2019, 08:55:10 AM
Hi,
I want to put 100$ in crypto currencies every month. Which coins in general would you recommend for mid- to longterm investment? Which coin should I choose this month?
I already have some of these coins: Waves, VEN, SRAT, SNGLS, NEO, ICX, DBC.

If you hit at least 50% of targets and these projects show a positive trend and recover after the correction, then your investments will turn from small ones into quite large ones)
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Now!!! on: January 01, 2019, 08:52:34 AM
If you're suicidal and want to lose money, then Yes. It is a good idea. I am of the opinion that now is not the best time for this and it is better to do something more useful.
