Getting to the hardcap would be a hell of a milestone, I’m hoping they can pull it off but even if they don’t I think the teams raising a good bit and is moving so quickly that I think they will be successful in the longrun
You're right, getting to hardcap these days is a tough battle, initially it was easy but now, it takes creativity and the right team to hit the needed mark, it can be frustrating and daunting but at the end, only the tough ones make it, most project just settle for the softcap and continue with the project, others never get to that stage but i'm optimistic that Tachain will scale through, fingers crossed Ace44 sorry, my question may sound like a dumb one, but, like, what happens if they don't get to hardcap? will the team still keep on doing what they are doing? do people call off ICOs if they don't reach hardcap or something? Not a dumb question. The main 'cap' to worry about is the softcap. This is the absolute minimum that a project needs in order to succeed. a 'hardcap' is the maximum amount of funds that a project needs/wants to raise. Tl;dr Softcap is the important one, as long as this is met, no need to worry. |

I finally downloaded the app today, it’s actually called Transportal. The app itself looks great and the initial sign up menu looks easy to use. However, to progress to the main menu you need to have an American or Phillipines telephone number, I’m based in the UK so I cannot proceed.
I noticed something in the apps description about how all Lyft drivers pass the comprehensive background checks and DMV checks, therefore Lyft drivers can also use the app to pick up passengers. This is pretty great seeing as Lyft is one of the most popular taxi app services in the US and it means that there are even more taxis for users to pick from.
If anyone from either of those countries could post some pictures it would be great to see what the actual main page of the app looks like after you have logged in!

This is a huge market, that would be really great! For this application only for the two countries (AS and Philippines)? whereas in this forum there are still many countries that will use this application, do they have to be citizens of that country? It will be more popular if this application is created for the global so that it will have a positive impact on the future. The forum is only an information resource and nothing more. Let's be realistic, there is no project that can cover the entire planet, everything is done consistently. So in this case, the developers have chosen the best option for themselves and, as far possible, will develop it further. Good point, it's stil a new project at the moment so I don't think it's too bad having covered AS And Philippines for the moment, they seem to be high in demand for something like this anyway. Hoping to see TaChain expand in the next 1-2 years globally You’re right they need to be realistic and focus on their first two locations they have picked these two locations because of their experience in both markets and through their knowledge of existing clients that they can work with on as campaigns. The Philippines is the pilot location and Tachain need to make sure everything is operating efficiently in Manila. The US is the big one, their country spends more on taxis than any other, if they can get a foothold in this market using Lyft drivers then they might not even have to worry about globalisation. Do we know if they have approached only taxi companies? With it now possible to pay uber in crypto it might be worth approaching them and lyft for example? They mau be more open to new tech than 'traditional' taxi firms are? |

I'm looking forward to the AMA session today, it's nice to see this sessions happen - you can ask anything to the team that you're unsure of and it goes to show the transparency of the team with these live sessions. I'm really annoyed that I'm going to miss out  Would have been great to see 4NEW answer investors questions, especially around the subject of the token sale. Also, 4NEW sent another email around today saying they have a new Visa & Mastercard payment facility, this is going to make purchasing KWATT tokens even easier. The investment live counter on the website has increased from $43.3m to $43.9m in the space of 3 days, that's an increase of $600k. I wonder how much they will raise before it closes in 4 days time and if they will introduce any other methods that could increase the total. No worries man, I should be able to make it fine, so i'll make a note of the answers if I can. Otherwise it's going to be recorded, so you won't miss out on anything. Did anyone notice that they updated their site? it looks way more cleaner now, and you can already download the app from the App store, i look forward to try it out.
I haven't visited their site in a while but it's always good to update it from time to time. I'm glad their site has a better resolution. I visited and I seen on their website they updated their app release for iOS. I am waiting for android OS also. the website looks cleaner and more beautiful now i really like the fact that they are working on their project i wish them the best and also they really need to secure more partnership because it is really going help in advancing their global reach Yeah, I agree, it's great to see that projects are constantly evolving and updating their logos, websites etc to match with the community needs and what they think the brand will represent going forward. |

Yeah agree, you just never know whether or not you can trust any reviews these days. I dont know why the likes of Amazon allow you to review a product if you've never even bought it! Hopefully Vanig will have limitations in place to make sure you are a verified purchaser I think Amazon lets to do so for a simple reason - to increase the amount of reviews, fulfilling its content and showing how much people use it. In the whitepaper they say they will verify reviews by seeing if the user actually bought and used the product, this will change the game for sure. Yes, that's the best strategy. Vanig should post review from the user who bought the product. In such cases we can trust on these reviews. Trusted reviews is the way forward, if you look at popular existing e-commerce websites like eBay and Amazon their product pages are full of fake reviews, it’s important to ensure consumers are getting the best deal and buying the described project. Yeah, that's one of the main things that interested me in this, transparency and real traceable reviews is going to be massive for an e-commerce site. I trust Amazon, but occasionally the odd dodgy product slips through. |

Bitcoin mining energy consumption is way too high and it's a big problem that needs solving. I like that 4NEWs process through the WTE plants is patent pending and if it gets approved anyone that wants to use this process needs to get a license through the company, it provides a whole new revenue stream. Yeah i wasn't even aware of that till I saw the video as well, pretty lucrative. If the mining and plants go well, I imagine there will be people who want to copy and do the same. |

I've just noticed that I have to keep my tokens for 6 years until Vanig, according to the roadmap, is active in in really many countries with 100k sellers.
That's a very long time, but then my tokens might be worth a fortune :-)
It's a really long time for short term traders but for long term enthusiasts, but really that long. But seriously, holding is still the best though. Just imagine if you had btc in bulk then or even eth in bulk then, you would have probably relocated to Mass. It is worth the wait you can just keep them in your wallet and after a couple of years you will see that you made a huge profit and can cash it out then, if you want good profit you need to have patience. Do we really need to hold the tokens for 6 years? How I missed this information. Anyway I don't think it will be bad but what if I need funds for emergency purpose is what I am thinking now. No, you do not have to keep the tokens for six years, of course, but I think the price will not really increase until Vanig operates globally. That's why I would recommend a waiting time of 6 years Lol, you can sell them as soon as they land on an exchange, the actual e-commerce platform is what is going to take the time to roll out across the world, which is expected. |

Taxi advertising is an industry that has been around for many years, so Tachain will have a lot of competition and these companies might have been around for many years so they will find it hard when they first start out, but what Tachain offers is completely different to traditional companies. Well they can reach an agreement with already existing taxi brands to be part with them, after all, is just an app that needs to be installed, the taxi brands on the other hand can be interested in what Tachain is selling not like is a hardware, so i believe other brands will come to terms in accepting them, its not like they are trying to take away their customers, unless i'm mistaken I agree, Tachain have lot of competition. But it's depend on how team develop the platforms and how effective marketing they do. yeah, but they have great team couple with nice business plan i personally expect them to succeed and create a niche for themselves There is nothing wrong with competition, it means they have a good idea, and usually means that the product will be better and cheaper for the users. Competition is a good thing. |

Thank God old participants are not affected if not they would have been a lot of angry people in their telegram channel. Yes, the rules are changed and the good thin g about of there change is that the prior participants are not affected by the new rules and good to know that it might bring some misunderstanding in both parties. Maybe rules are change because of some important details that they ghink can help the project better. The fact is stricter rules on airdrops tend to always be better as it reduces fraud and people cheating the airdrop. I would rather larger airdrop rewards and more strict rules than anything else as it ensures the good people who follow rules get a solid reward Yeah, i think there should be some form of basic KYC for airdrops, so many people multi-account to cheat them and claim the rewards multiple times. |

Firstly was the change from just selling to the grid, to actually mining crypto as well. Secondly was for KYC purposes, they have updated their site to include a KYC portal on all users accounts, so if you took part in the ICO, you need to complete KYC also. Its on the pinned chat on the telegram channel. I think it has to do with signing up on their website. But nothing much. Old users are not obligated to do that though. What exactly is changed in the rules? Is it something significant and does this update somehow affect investors and those who participate in bounty campaigns? I can not see for myself that temporarily there is no access to the telegram. it may just be for marketing projects, I know alot of projects lately seem to make signing up on the website a requirement, so they can then say, we have X amount of users registered for our ICO |

same thing here I honestly don't know why the market is still not recovering it is expected that by Q2 of the ear the market should be showing sign of recovery but nothing seems to be happening.
In my opinion, we are currently the plaything of whales. They manipulate the prices as they please and now push them down again to shop well. In autumn, they will be greedy again and will drive up the prices, so that under the Christmas tree is a thick mountain of BTC It is extremely frustrating, more regulation needs to be brought in to stop this market manipulation, because if the whales continue getting greedier and greedier the market could eventually crash into nothing. Yeah, sadly I don't think we're going to see any changes till more regulation is brought in as well, I know alot of people don't want it, but I honestly think it would be for the best. |
