561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: September 10, 2019, 10:08:41 PM
I would be very careful with picking alts right now. If the Bitcoin dominance stays on this level or even rises more, a lot of projects will eventually die and their tokens will become worthless. You don't want to become a bagholder of dead coins. So any coin out of the top 100 (maybe top 50?) should be checked very throughly to see if the projects team is still active and didn't ran out of money
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price struggling on: September 07, 2019, 10:25:14 PM
for now i think not just ethereum are strugle with their price
another altcoin keep trying to stabilize the price in the market, now market condition are not condusive

With a Bitcoin dominance of more than 70% it's no wonder that altcoins are bleeding/slowly dying. Ethereum is no exception here. As long as Bitcoin is so dominant, we don't have to hope for an altseason.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Removal of signature before end of the campaign shouldn't cause disqualification on: September 07, 2019, 10:07:33 PM
I think making participants that have promoted the project for like 50% of the bounty duration should be allowed to take off their signature. Just my opinion though.
it will be better and clear if they ask the bounty manager if they are allowed to remove thier signatures and it wont cost any trouble on both parties.

If the rules indicate that, then it's fine. Here's a bounty with a similar rule and I hope some other bounty manager can adapt such rule into the campaigns they will manage in the future.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182388.0 campaign is managed by Arteezy

Yeah, exactly. If the rules state right from the beginning what will happen with your stakes when you leave campaing early I am totally fine with it. Even when you then lose your stakes if you remove your signature. But then they should also provide a fixed date when the bounty will end. This way I can decide before joining if I wanna keep the signature that long. And if they extend the campaign afterwards everyone should be free to remove the signature/leave the campaign without any penalty.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: September 07, 2019, 09:56:40 PM
I see vote system on your platform, how do you participate in votes? do we need BCNX token to do that? and how does the new project want to be on votes list?

 🗣🗣🗣🗣Attentions👹👹 scams alert💀💀💀👁👁

565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all the bounties coming out right now garbage? on: September 07, 2019, 09:53:01 PM
Not all of them are garbage, but it is right that finding legal, and profitable bounty campaigns nowadays is harder than a few years ago. Actually, we have to make long research about each project before participating in its bounty, and even if the project seems promising, the listing of tokens get so long time usually.

I don't see any good bounty campaigns coming out anymore. The time where you could've made a fortune from bounties are over, I am afraid. Nowadays you have to even pray that they'll pay out the bounties (even if they are worthless in the end) and not screw bounty hutners completely over.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you staking or mining, or both? on: September 07, 2019, 10:09:44 AM
The entry requirements for staking are much lower than for mining. You don't need expensive mining equipment, just hold some coins and you are good to go. And with mining you also rely on cheap energy costs to be profitable. That's why I am not mining anything at the current market situation.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all the bounties coming out right now garbage? on: September 07, 2019, 07:53:06 AM

Well, campaigns that are paying Bitcoin are a safe bet. You get your weekly payout in a cryptocurrency that is actually worth something and not just a gamble if the tokens ever gonna make it to an exchange. But nowadays you have to be fast, need a lot of merits and a bit of luck to get into one of these campaigns.

yeah youre right that  only campaigns that are paying btc weekly are good. But in when it comes to altcoin bounties better to invest on projects were the IEO wikl be held on binance or in kucoin.

But projects on these exchanges, especially on Binance tend to have no bounty at all. And they also don't need one because an IEO on Binance is enough advertisment already.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better ICO, STO Or IEO ? on: September 06, 2019, 09:43:20 AM
I prefer STEOs  Grin .... No, just kidding.

IEOs have the advantage over ICOs that the tokens are listed immediately on an exchange so people can dump trade right after the sale. Otherwise I don't see many differences between ICOs and IEOs. STOs however are bringing some welcomed change to token sales and can be a answer to regulatory concerns.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: September 05, 2019, 07:24:46 PM
I am sure that it will. Chris Burniske, a full pledged cryptocurrency investor even stated that, " Ether is enduring its first mainstream bear market, just as Bitcoin did back in 2014–15 ".[ https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-in-its-first-big-bear-market-like-bitcoin-in-2015-analyst-says ]
Honestly speaking, in spite of all the problems the Ethereum Network is experiencing, i am still a full believer of this crypto's remarkable potentials and use cases.

Let's see how the whole crypto market looks in half a year or a year. With Eth 2.0 on the way and an army of developers working on ETH I am pretty sure Ethereum will still be around and I also believe Eth will defend its top2 spot.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all the bounties coming out right now garbage? on: September 05, 2019, 06:36:30 PM
Take a look yourself at the bounties in Services section. They are all paying money. The better the service provided, the higher the quality required from the participants, the better the renumeration.
Bitcoin paying campaign is way better than those who pay in altcoins without assurance if these tokens will gain value once became listed in exchanges.

Its hard to find good bounties nowadays but if you were going to do an extensive research you'll find a good one. Not all bounties are garbage, its just that majority of them are just waste of time.

571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ on: September 02, 2019, 02:37:05 PM
ETH takes a long time to rise again.  But perhaps at $ 4k this is a too large number for ETH to achieve.  ETH price does not seem to change in the past 2 months while the market is green.  Unable to predict anything in the future, let us wait and expect it to rise again.
It will take time to reach that value, the team needs to convince it's investors and holders that is worthy to hold and wait, if there's a lots of big news that will bring more interest to this project then chances to see  bigger and higher jump may happen, it's crypto industry and huge rise is always possible for project that will bring high interest to it's investors.

Why do you think it will ever reach that price? I mean, the whole crypto market has to enter a massive uptrend and it's not looking like this going to happen very soon. Right now BTC dominance is growing, so for other coins like ETH that's not going to be easy to make an outbreak and gain significantly.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🌟🌟 Datum - Unlock the Bln $$ Data Economy - ICO 29th October - 🌟🌟 on: August 23, 2019, 10:53:38 AM
Datum has proven himself, able to survive in difficult times. They must be aware of their competitors. I hope, they can develop better both technically and in marketing.

I assume you are here from some time and keep tracking the progress and that is why I want to ask you about the latest development.

From quite some time I didn't get any emails from Datum and the data marketplace is also death. I was only able to sell an email at the beginning of the project.

When I check the Datum web page and product I see nothing has changed from the start and to be honest is wors because roadmap is not fully delivered.

Sorry to say that but this project is dead ... soo dead (like a lot of ICO projects sadly). No news, no communication from the team, no development updates. Nothing ...

What's going on? See the tokens still trading?

Only because it's still trading doesn't mean that the project is still alive. They were totally silent for the last couple of months. Only yesterday they started to tweet something again after 4 (FOUR!) months of complete silence without any twitter activity. Maybe they saw their tokens pump a bit and then decided to give it another try?

574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: August 22, 2019, 07:13:46 PM
This is such an embarrassment.  An exploit found in the zero coin protocol.  And Veil devs did not take this seriously enough and gambles with it hoping they won't use this exploit on Veil.  Well it happened and Veil money got printed out of thin air.

If an exploit is found where someone can print out money the devs need to get off their asses and make sure to do everything they can to stop it by forking etc.

The devs didn't do enough here and it's quite a shame.  Won't touch this coin with a 10 feet pole since someone has a lot of free veil that they can dump on the markets. I don't think the burn rate  will be quick enough and this project will have bearish price pressure for years. I'm surpised the coin hasn't dumped yet. I guess they are waiting for an exchange with liquidity to dump years later.

Wasn't really following everything around the project too closely after I had their Signature for a few weeks. What excatly happened and is it know how many Veil has been generated because of this exploit?
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ on: August 22, 2019, 06:36:35 PM
A price of $4000 per ETH with the current supply would mean a marketcap of more than $400 billion!! That's not gonna happens. But I like that you are very optimistic even though ETH is only going down recently.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: August 22, 2019, 05:47:21 PM
I had my bad experience with the MenaPay bounty. Was supposed to get 12k tokens and got only 2 instead for wearing their signature for a couple of weeks. Project looked solid, no way that you could've foreseen that they will screw their bounty hunters. IIRC they even had to fire their CMO, but yeah ... Damage is done, project is marked as a scam.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: August 22, 2019, 04:35:37 PM
Just saw that BCNEX recently launched their exchange and trading started. Is KYC mandatory to trade there or is KYC only needed when I want to increase the withdrawal limit?
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance's IEO vs Huobi's IEO : Which is better? on: August 20, 2019, 10:23:45 PM
My preference when it comes to IEO is not Binance or Huobi but the Gate .io IEO.
In my opinion it is better and it is because the unlike other IEOs that it based on how fast you are able to get in, it allows all participants to send their money even after the allocation is filled up, and then split the allocation in such a way that all participants get a share of the product.

There are just too many IEO launchpads. Never used the one from Gate.io but from a projects point of view the launchpads from Binance or Huobi are definitely preferrable. The problem that you see that only the fastest ones can invest is only because the launchpads are so successful. There is not that much hype when an IEO starts on Gate.io.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Auditchain - Real Time Assurance and Disclosure for Digital Assets on: August 20, 2019, 07:39:57 PM
Can anyone of you bots tell me if they have reached their softcap?!! Or are you only having a monologue to constantly bump the thread?
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST on: August 18, 2019, 11:06:34 AM
I myself also just found out about what has been done by the Utrust team,
and I think we should appreciate them because I believe this team has worked hard
Working hard? Yea, they have worked so hard until UTK price down from $1 to $0.02 now https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/utrust/  (it's down more than 5000% jusy fyi).
If you are gonna saying "But dev have nothing to do with UTK price, because it's market bla bla bla", i already knew about that. If you guys ever read when binance coin was launched, it was down a lot until CZ decided to buy it with his own money (through it doesn't give any big effect)

Grin You must have been the best in your math class, didn't you? Just to enlighten you a bit: If something is worth $1 it can do down 100% and not more. Because then it's worth $0.

It depends on what you take as a starting point. Typically, a reduction in price by half is called a 50% reduction. The increase in price is called a double increase of 100%. A change from $1 to $0.02 means a 50x reduction. If we take 0.02 as a reference point, we get 5000%. But it is more correct to count from the price of $1. Then we get a reduction of 2500%.

Sorry, but I can't follow your 'explanation'. Only because from $0.02 to $1 means an price increase of 5000%, doesn't mean the other way round is a reduction of 5000%. And if you take $1 as the starting point and it's now worth $0.02, it's down 98% (btw. a lot of other tokens and coins showed the same pattern since the ICO). Don't know how you can argue with that, but yeah, maybe I need to refresh math for myself  Cheesy
