You are right, there should really not have to register to check out the whitepaper. This will put people off straight away having to give away private information just to see what the project is actually about! i can understand it from a marketing point of view, but I agree, you shouldn't have to register to get access to something as simple as the whitepaper. That's still one part of the project that everyone seem not to get yet. Including me too. But I presume they have a good reason for such action. Though I tend to think it's for the sake of email list building since not everyone who reads the white paper that will surely invest but then they already have their details incase of future purpose even though they didn't feel right to invest now. Yeah, i mean it's such a small technicality, there's ways around it like 10 minute email accounts or creating a spam account if you really dont want them to have yours. i think the platform is going to be amazing once it launches. |

Yea. They are going to have to keep developing and working on it. These hackers never rest, they can be very determined when they want to archive something. Thus when they realize bitfence defence system, they will definitely seek ways to bypass Yeah, there is no two ways about it, they will have to keep updating their software and firmware, I mean I thought people would have understood that, it's just like your anti-virus has to download definitions. They have to be steps ahead of the whole tech world in other to keep this project's value intact. I will even suggest they employ some hackers to intentionally test the network continously to be sure it is not penetrable in any way. Im pretty sure they are already doing that. The stingminer is currently running on a testnet and to my understanding they are testing it on various platforms and OS systems. |

I see it only now, the ICO was again until 29.6. extended? I would have been really happy, if after the 3-day-sale had ended. But now again an extension. I suppose the mining will also start later and not as promised in June?

Me too. But how is the sales progressing? Any idea? Can we see any live progress somewhere? It would be interesting to see that. They never used a form of live updating for the sales total, it's always been manually updated. But I agree it would nice to be able to see the progress. |

Might be they will allow to withdraw tokens but I guess they will not allow to anyone for buying or selling until their official announcement about exchanges or listing. I think there were already KWATT coins on FD quite some time ago, dumped by bounty hunters. Don't know if it's possible then to lock the tokens somehow. The easiest way would be to just not make it possible to withdraw them. Really how is that possible ? Can't the bounty hunters not hold until the ICO is over at least ? xD I am sure that the tokens are now locked, because i haven't seen any trades. yeah there was some impatient people who dumped, but I think the contract is now locked so it can't be traded anymore. |

Is anyone holding Iot? Just found a lot of good reviews of it here. I think its not the end of the drop in sales? I think it should go to 0.72 or even 0.60. What do you think? Anyway great project w good technology and partners and developers  I don't hold much of it but i want to see iot flourish in the market they have a good concept about providing security for Iot devices. I hope it gets implemented. Their concept is really solid. Security is one thing everyone loves having. If they can really implement it as said, then the world will definitely welcome them with open hands and that means only one things, token value rise. IoT device security is only going to become more and more important, there's always news articles about breaches due to an IoT device, I think IOTChain has entered the market at a great time. |

I attended they answered a number of the questions I had sort of been holding onto in the back of my head hopefully this was a good time for the team and the visitors they had a good response maybe they will do this more times as the ico goes on Do you know if they will host another AMA again anytime soon for all of us who missed the opportunity to ask them their questions this time? They have redesigned the homepage again. And what do I see there? Bonus ends in 7 days? what happened to the 3-day sale, was it extended? I do not think that would be a good idea at all
Although you think that's not a good idea but according to the decision-making team that's best for the future of their project. I wonder the reason I know their were some people bitching that the 3 day sale was odd timing and too short but it’s odd that they changed it without a bigger hullabaloo over the change and explaining it seemsit would have been a good thing to explain to not confuse people Very correct friend. Since they are aware of the fact that the buzz around the sales time all through the pause period was a 3 day sales, they should have come up with a press release or something before the sales Resumption to inform the public of their changed plans. yeah, im honestly growing tired of the ever changing goalposts and extensions. It's tomorrow people! Who else is feeling very excited about tomorrow, June 1st...listing is June 3rd  I think I am the first on that list. It's been a long wait and it has sure been worth it. In 3 days time all sales as regards this project will be done with. 14 Hours, and then we will have the pre-listing sale. I just can't wait for it. Anyone who sees this being $2 on exchanges is in for a horrible suprise imo. Hello! Yes, immediately after the end of the ICO, the tokens will be sent to your wallet. So this means it isn't necessary to go through a KYC process in order to be able to withdraw the tokens from your site, right? Good point, I forgot about KYC nearly.. Building a fingerprint of the hacker is a wise move as it moves them away from traditional blocking and more towards something actually useful in preventing future attacks I’m gonna be interested to see how the full fingerprint is built
That's probably the most innovative part of this project, i don't actually know how the technical part of the fingerprint works but one thing is for sure, you can't fake a fingerprint and even if you do, it will take a whole lot of effort than just changing an IP and all that, so it is a right step in the right direction and to me, this is the first of its kind This is the beauty of it, regardless of IP address or where you are in the world. BitFence should be able to identify the same type of attack due to the unique fingerprint allowing a secure efficient system That's why is so difficult to implement any effective security system. I f Bitfence solves this problem that would be a huge step in network security. Every day attackers find different way to hacking system. BitFence need to keep updating their products on regular basis. It will be interesting to see if hackers can hack BitFence device or not. Hackers wont be targetting the BitFence device, it is used as a "honeypot" which will essentially draw the hackers into the device making it vulnerable so Bitfence device can inspect the type of attack and assign it to a unique ID (Fingerprint) which therefore can be used in the future down the line. The fingerprint will be used to identify similar attacks when a hacker tries to use the same fingerprint on a network. And preventing the attack from happening. Hackers are very intelligent, what stops them from finding a way to protect themselves against Bitfence's software? I feel like hackers will keep on evolving and they will always be ahead of the curve. But bitfence can know how the hackers do it and so they can prevent it the next time it happens i think it is amazing also with this information they can look a head too. Yeah that I guess Bitfence can develop new technology and keep improving their software to make sure they catch hackers as efficiently as possible. just like your antivirus solution has definition updates, I assume that Bitfence will as well (That's essentially what the sting miner will be doing, gathering fingerprints (Definitions) of confirmed hackers |

I read on CryptOcean website that they'll be listed on exchanges on the 10th of December this year which will be when the ecosystem is fully-functioning. I don't know how I feel about waiting this long for listing.
