I had completely forgotten that they want to publish a personal firewall in 2019. Joyful that it starts soon, I've lost sight of the goals for the next year :-)

As in a home firewall for households, or do you just mean a Bitfence branded firewall? Either way could be interesting if you can pay for it in HNY tokens.
What you mean to say that personal firewall? Do you mean to say that they publishing their own brand firewall? But approximately what will be cost of firewall?

They have a subscription model for the protection packages. So just like other anti virus software available where you have a home package and an enterprise package. The same would apply here except that in order to use their protection you need HNYs.

Yeah, so with the stingminer launching in a few days  (July 1st) it seems like a perfect chance to aquire a bunch of HNY tokens for when the firewall launches.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IoT-Chain on: June 23, 2018, 11:52:21 AM
Does this work in the real world yet? Coins don't seem to be doing well, almost like there's no intrinsic value keeping it safe

it's in testnet privately.  Public testnet will be launching in October, with the mainnet launching in december, I think it's moving from an ERC-20 token to it's own chain then as well, so the current ones are just a placeholder.

Everytime Vanig is arranging different different events. For e.g. Vanig is arranged some quiz contest today. Check below link.
https://twitter.com/VanigPlatform/status/1010205523491409920?s=19

I have seen lots of winners come out of this platform all happy but i either do not have the time or i am caught unawares, peeps out here could use some 100$ vanig token, i will so find time in coming weeks and see to me getting Vanig tokens as well  Cool

I've been missing out on their quiz as well either i come late or i totally forget, another was held yesterday well i was watching the world cup then  Smiley. When is the next quiz coming up?

From what i've seen in their channel, and from what they've said they're a daily thing so far! Somehow I keep missing out as well though! haha

great news, BittWatt just got listed at LiveCoinWatch you can check it out on the LiveCoinWatch twitter page

https://twitter.com/LiveCoinWatch/status/1010160217307467776?s=19

Great news here! A lot of listing is happening for Bittwatt already, kudos to team, any news on Bittwatt exchange yet?

Yep getting the project in all the big listing areas and sites is going to be tremendous for getting the word out especially cmc as most people really don’t trust projects until they are listed as that seems to make it real for people

Yeah this was really fast, getting listed on major listing site is good progress for Bittwatt. But surprisingly this did not have much effect on bittwatt price as the coinmarketcap listing.

Well we don't expect the market to be completely predictable  there is the possibility that it will somehow effect it we probably just have to wait and see

Didn't have much price effect? When i checked the project went up like 72% when it first got listed on CoinMarketCap lol. But yeah, once we start seeing more real world use hopefully the price will increase.

Guy's, before sometime I was seen that total supply was something 22,000,000+  but I can see there is now 24,737,434 HNY. Exactly this is sold tokens data or available total supply? Someone could please explain that?

It is the total sold token and i think of gets updated as people purchase the tokens. As i heard the tokens will be minted as they are bought?

Yes, you are right gee777. The tokens are minted when there is demand for them. Otherwise it would be a waste to generate them before the sale. I also saw the total supply on the front page. I think that it is the supply amount. Maybe they have changed plans ? Anyone knows more ?

They've not changed plans from what i've seen, you answered your own question.. The tokens are minted as they are purchased. The total listed on their website is the amount of tokens bought, hence the supply.

Does anyone else have problems opening the homepage lendsbay.io? Try it now for some time, but always gets the error 504
But well, I have to inform me meanwhile in the forum here :-)

Not sure if you're still having any issues but just checked the site and it loads perfectly for me, no troubles whatsoever.

Just checked on my end, and works fine for me also. Might be worth trying in a different browser, or using incogneto mode?

Today I saw a first electric bill from EVA Energy showing a QR code to pay the bill with BWT. It is likely that this QR code will get you directly to the BWT platform
It all looks very good, next week it will start right!

This is getting interesting by the day, a lot of things are happening in this project within the shortest amount of time, it tells a lot and the need for the community to hodl, i'm really getting excited about this, is like the excitement never stops, investors are coming in, the partnership deals are taking shape, the volumes traded has increased, is just too much excitement  Grin

So it is true. I heard of it but was not sure. Any way we can see it too? So they currently use the BWT? This is great having the BWT being utilized this early. Also any idea how much was the bill for?

The bill was issued to a Romanian mining farm. The amount was 138k RON, which is about $ 34k.
the CEO has also talked about this in the telegram channel, if you have any questions, he will surely answer them

Guess that's official, the authentication that many seek, this project is actually selling their brand in the right way and effectively, is like they got everything planned out before now because the way the implementation is going on, its truly remarkable, like every partnership deal was for a purpose and we can see what is happening at the moment about that aspect

Wow that's an insane electric bill lmao.  Glad to see that history was made with the first ever payment using BWT! Can't wait to see more and more people adopt it.

Great to see the first use of BWT. I'm sure the team will be celebrating many many more milestone payments using BWT.

Yeah man, with the listing on coinmarketcap's website, and the first real use of the currency as a payment method, it's starting to be an exciting time for Bittwatt Cheesy
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️⚡️[ANN] [PRE-ICO] LendsBay | Credit ecosystem on: June 22, 2018, 08:52:58 AM
Amazing that LendsBay got listed on big ico-trackers and they also got very high ratings on each of them you can see those ratings here in their latest tweet: https://twitter.com/LendsBay/status/1009817058236948480.

Nice. Another high rating from an ico rating site. Lendsbay must really be loved by all the ico reading site that lists them, i was really impressed when i saw all of their ratings.

I'm seeing more and more positive reviews for this LendsBay project - a real eye opener and also good to see how active they are on twitter. I think this has huge potential in 2018

Awesome news for the team! They've got some pretty solid scores from the ICO trackers as well, great to see. (especially the 5/5's and the 4.9/5!) Hopefully they can keep on improving on the solid foundation.

Anything we say about price is just guessing lol I know a company that sells a box that’s a raspberry pi inside to manage some hardware at my job and it’s 950$ so just because it’s a pi doesn’t mean we can begin to guess at price as it’s really up to company how much they price it at as real hardware price doesn’t always impact final product costs

But given the industry I’d imagine they would try to keep it low and accessible

You know I was begin to wonder as to how we arrive at 20-40$ as no information is from the Bitfence team as at the time of typing this lol... It's still pure stipulations let see upon main launch how much it's going to do for

Their whitepaper confirms it's free to download:

'BitFence software will be available to download as freeware.'

Source: https://bitfence.io/data/BitFenceWP-EN-1.6b.pdf

They will not be selling something they are giving away for $900, they also say that they are selling SD cards with it preloaded, this might be like $5 over what a standard one costs, but their goal is to get as many of these miners globally as possible, their money will come from selling the fingerprints as definitions to other companies, and as part of the subscriptions.

A good point that they sell the fingerprints to other companies. I've always thought that hackers are banned only from Bitfence networks and outsiders are excluded. But the sale of the hacker data makes more sense, of course

There is also the subscription protection model; so you will get to be protected using the data collected of mining and If I am not mistaken the subscriptions are paid in the token.

Yeah, you can only buy their services by using the HNY token, so there is always going to be a constant demand of them which is good.
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀🛒[ANN] Vanig.io The Future of Shopping - Integrated E-Commerce & Supply Chain on: June 22, 2018, 07:10:38 AM
because they posted it on their twitter account today https://twitter.com/VanigPlatform
Vanig promises the end of fake reviews. that will be great, I'm really looking forward to it

Maybe fake reviews exist but there are measures by amazon to combat those like a review is only made by someone who made a purchase. I understand the centralized nature of Amazon might be a concern; but i don't think it is a major problem. However I am curious to see how Vanig will approach that?

There was a major issue with fake reviews on Amazon not that long ago.  There's companies that sell 'Reviews' so it can very missleading to consumers when a product is 5/5 in reviews, but realistically is a 1/5 for quality.
I think it would be great if VANIG gets rid of that, people watch reviews to maybe invest in something and if it is fake they can lose a lot.

I dont understand your point clearly. Who has given fake reviews? Is this about Vanig? or about Amazon? Can you post the link here? So that we can really see whether anything is legit or fake..

What I understood is people are taking about product reviews which will be available at Vanig site. And I have seen few people posting fake product reviews at e-commerce sites, Vanig team need to do something to avoid fake product reviews.

Yeah, in their whitepaper  they are considering using machine learning techniques to curb fake reviews. They are well aware that fake reviews is a serious problem in e-commerce platform. Vanig are combining emerging technology to solve e-commerce problem.

yeah sorry I should have been clearer, fake reviews on Amazon was a massive news story, here's some examples: https://www.buzzfeed.com/nicolenguyen/amazon-fake-review-problem?utm_term=.gb7MNAZ03#.saPQGg0dA machine learning would help, but also providing your TXID to leave a review might be a good idea.. Can't fake a TX on the blockchain.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IoT-Chain on: June 22, 2018, 07:07:11 AM

I'm not sure which roadmap you all are looking at, because the release of testnet is already present on official roadmap as provided at IoTChain official website:

It's scheduled to be released in upcoming October.

Not far away now, do you think we will see the ITC token increase in value after the testnet has been released?

I feel like ITC needs a big pump at the moment.

I think weeks to the test net release we will start seeing the positive effect on the IoT chain token and i expect the trend to continue weeks after the release if the test net results are positive.

Yeah I’m with you on that one, I’m glad you agree. It’s hard to see ITC trading as low as it is at the moment, fingers crossed the test net goes down a treat with investors.
This project is still in progress and they have to reach a lot still but they are following their roadmap as planned so i think soon we can see a boost in the market.

Yeah I think the IoT Chain TestNet will be huge but the bigger news will be the actual main net release in December. That is when we will hopefully see a spike and the value and trading volume will definitely increase.

The mainnet would be the bigger news. I think if they can release the testnet version and that works quite well it should be a quick transition or a quick deployment to mainnet.

Well the goal is the mainnet but I don't think it will make any impression if the testnet doesn't meet up to expectations so my advice to them is to ensure that the testnet dies work perfectly

No project needs a pump, that leads to dumping. Realistically what id like to see a strong steady growth from now till the mainnet launch, that maintains it's momentum.

have you already registered for the beta version? it should appear in June. I'm really looking forward to testing the platform. Let's see if I can lend money :-)

Well there's not much time left in June now so beta should be available soon in that case! Now lend me some money haha

Oh damn the beta is out this month? Should be interesting to see how it performs! Small term loans between friends and family, or even P2P loans could be interesting with this.

Looks like the CoinMarketCap listing is in the progress of being completed, there is now a page available: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bittwatt/ and if you search for the token name you can see the result (i get an error when clicking on it though!)

Thank you for sharing the link, I've just tested now from my end and it is showing correctly. Currently up 68% as well Smiley

Oh nice yeah works for me now as well, and damn it is up $0.027462 USD (68.44%). Awesome! I managed to pick a few up when it dipped down to about $0.016 looks like that was a great choice now haha
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN][ICO] BITFENCE - REMOVE HACKERS FROM YOUR NETWORK on: June 21, 2018, 07:20:41 PM

Would have been a huge breakthrough if other coin could be mined on this platform or using this method. It really would have help save on electricity bills pay and powered consumed.

Interesting idea, I think it would very complicated for Bitfence to implement that somehow, but it’s food for thought for the team potentially.

If they add in the future then nearly everybody will be interested in it. People are nowadays searching for miners who are very cheap. They should think about it and discuss it maybe with the team.

Yeah I agree but I don’t know if this is what Bitfence want to be known for. They want to provide a new solution for users to protect themselves from malware and attacks.

it simply won't work.  The stingminer is designed to run the software on a lite piece of hardware, adding mining onto a Raspberry pi will consume all the CPU, meaning there is no resources available for the stingminer to do is primary job of fingerprinting hackers.  Cryptossi is right, this is nothing to do with the Bitfence project.

A good recent video uploaded from the Lendsbay team - check it out here @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DKhGXN4uOo&feature=youtu.be&a

Thanks for sharing, myself and I'm sure many others can learn better by watching as opposed to reading. The only thing I would like to see/hear is that background music turned down a bit, I found it distracting at times.

That's a fact. Visuals speaks better and sticks longer than text and it gives better understanding of what is been spoken of.. I hope they keep releasing more videos frequently.

The video was a bit educating to me and i myself enjoy watching videos to reading, it tends to stick faster to my memory and also there is this feeling to it.

I wouldn't say thesame I prefer reading to videos,  I easily get bored when watching videos but For the benefit of others I would advice of of such videos. So that everyone can be carried along.

Well we can't all like same things for me I prefer videos to reading. I like that it's a short video but contains lots of info, it was well detailed and educating thanks for sharing

Videos do reach out better I find to some people, as mentioned above - some people can't be bothered to read long boring whitepapers or articles anymore - so it's great to see more video orientated resources

yeah, videos always do better for community outreach.
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN][ICO] BITFENCE - REMOVE HACKERS FROM YOUR NETWORK on: June 21, 2018, 08:41:04 AM
Bitfence has updated on twitter about their device. Bitfence introduces "proof-of-threat" mining. Electricity costs to run for a whole year is $14.

https://twitter.com/BitFence_/status/1008931766340644864?s=19

thanks for sharing, again twitter doesn't show me all new Tweets.
That is really interesting, 14$ a year is nearly nothing. i like that

and there is a picture of the stingminer, in near future i have my own at home:-)

That is pretty awesome! Some miners cost thousands of dollars to run. To see Bitfence offering a far cheaper and more unique way of 'mining' tokens should help the team be very successful with it's sales.

Would have been a huge breakthrough if other coin could be mined on this platform or using this method. It really would have help save on electricity bills pay and powered consumed.

Yeah, perhaps maybe bitfence will consider this in the near future. I'm excited about the StingMiner and to think one will pay $14 yearly is amazing.

I don't know if that will be possible especially for rain being that most of the top Cryptocurrencies run on their own chain. We'll am just talking  base on the limit of my knowledge though. Someone who knows better may say otherwise

I don't think that is possible. I don't know why bitfence mining is cheap maybe, it's because of some partnership or because the sting miner is a small device that won't consume too much energy and can work on low power. But mining other currencies will surely take up energy and computer resources.

The Stingminer is a RaspberryPi that does not need a lot of energy. That's why the annual costs are so low. Now the only question is, how much will a Stingminer cost?

A good question, I wonder - I know the subscription was $14 right? I imagine the stingminer wont be much due to it's size and raspberry pi's don't cost much at all as there is minimal hardware involved

There's no cost for the software, you can download it for free. They've said they'll be doing hardware versions of the Pi, or simply a SD card, so I imagine they'll be the same price as that hardware normally costs. ($20-40)
