1  Economy / Scam Accusations / SCAM WARNING - Hellot is trying to scam you out of your money on: February 12, 2015, 03:25:39 AM
User hellot, the biggest drama queen of them all has started a new account in an attempt to scam you all out of your bitcoins by selling fake memorabilia.

Hellot (now using the name "WoodCollectorScams" ) started a thread over here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=952767

He has shown no ability to silk screen tee-shirts, the account is less than a day old, and Hellot has already shown by direct comparison of the wording that this is his alt account as seen in these two threadds

The thread titled "Limited Edition Wood Bitcoins - Many options to choose from" is from a known scammer by the name of WoodCollector.  Buy buying his products, you are supporting a scammer.

The is just a friendly service announcement since WoodCollector won't let it be known in his own thread.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=952487.0

If his past is any indicator, Limited Edition means as many as he can sell.  I'll gladly sell you links to the original scammer accusation thread for the low cost of free.  Please reply if you would like to buy these links.  The links will be mailed to your physical address on US Letter paper once I have enough interest.

AND

I am selling T-Shirts with the words WoodCollector is a Scammer on the front and links to forum threads on the back.  If you aren't aware, WoodCollector is a now famous scammer on these forums who misrepresented his work in order to illicit more money from unsuspecting buyers.  These shirts are to commemorate the outing of WoodCollector and his scamming ways.

Please reply if you are interested in buying a limited edition T-Shirt.  These are limited to as many as I can sell, just like WoodCollectors wooden bitcoins.

The back of the T-Shirt will have tinyurl links silk screened to the back.  The tinyurl links will re-direct to the following threads:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=930649.0 - This is the original, now famous thread created by nubbins outing WoodCollector as a scammer

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=933888.0 - This is a follow-up thread by trusted community member, smoothie that continues the topic.

The T-Shirts will be black with white silk screening.  If I get enough interest, I will use gold colored silk screening.  There is no end to this sale, I will start collecting shipping information when I have enough interest and the price will be determined by the size of the pool of interested buyers since the shirts cost less the more I can buy at once.

I hereby find Hellot guilt of scamming, lying, and general theivery until he can;

A: provide video of him silkscreening T-shirts
B: Post pictures of all of his silk screening equipment
C: prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he is not also Nubbins as well as Hellot and the new scamming account.

Hellot you have been charged, you have been found quilty, until you prove otherwise.

That will teach you to be off topic and in the wrong thread now wont it.
3  Other / Meta / Re: Petition to get rid of the default trust system on: February 04, 2015, 09:41:56 PM
For the record, video has already been produced that my works are not done by machine. your trying to whip a dead horse here to steer this thread off topic just as was done last time or any time someone calls out the faults in the system which you guys all spend dozens of hours a week trying to manipulate.

Dude, drop the wood carving thing. Stay on topic.

https://i.imgur.com/wafDtjk.jpg

I think trust ratings should appear in all subforums, not just the marketplace etc.

Oh Nubbins, you kids never give up do you. Lets not forget you and your mob of retards lost that battle and now your just holding on to any thread you can because your position on the default trust list is in jeopardy.

Like you can judge an end product by the first step in making it.
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WoodCollector the saga continues?.... on: February 01, 2015, 03:26:22 AM
So if he does post a video, it won't make any difference?

Yes, that is what the degenerates have said. They will say anything to not have to admit they are wrong. Quite interesting reading what WoodCollecter had to say about it all. Call me a sock, call me a shill, call me whatever as if i care. I agree with him 100%. nothing more than kids running wild on the playground looking for attention and digital satisfaction.

Endgame:  WC slinks away into the shadows...never admits wrong doing...most people recognize him as the
phony he is, and a few people who want to believe in a 'reasonable doubt' will do so.

You couldn't have been more wrong.

yeah but that's what's gonna happen (slink away)...

he only said he would post a video
to look good yesterday... (that's
how short sighted dishonesty is folks)

reality is now asserting itself, and
he realizes there's no possible
way to make any kind of credible
video.

Just my opinion.

Whoa, wrong again, quick, start thinking of more semantics and distraction techniques, people are starting to realize you are the picture perfect example of everything WoodCollecter says this band of idiots is.

What got me was he kept saying he could give a shit about what people think, then he says he will make a video, then says to me to jump on skype so I can see him do his work, then says he will do a video, then says somewhere in the mix of all of what I just wrote that he still doesnt give a shit what people think and wont jump through hoops to do a video...yet says he is doing a video to be uploaded.  Roll Eyes

Any logical person would understand that he was just settling the doubt for his clients. Everyone knows that nothing would satisfy all you degenerates  on a witch hunt, maybe your translation was a little off because when i read it what i took away from it all is "you fools are ignorant, i could give a shit what your opinions are, you know nothing about woodworking anyways, if and when i have time to reply it will be for the paying clients, not the short sighted MOB of kiddies. "

Truth is i could go on quoting blatant writings of ignorance for days with all the fudder you 5 have spread around. At the end of the day, it takes the average person about 5 minutes to see what this is really all about. I stopped counting at 400 posts, but do you know that of those 400 posts, 84% of them were either Nubbins, Smoothie, Jonald, BG4 or Redsn0w? I believe someone counted them all and it exceeded 1,000 posts and i am willing to bet that the statistic is even higher than 84% across the whole mess. You have all lost a lot of credibility to a lot of people weather they will tell you to your face or not. And for what? a circle jerk so the 5 of you can feel special for a few weeks? have you ever stopped to think about the long term damage to your reputation? not just the reputation that is left via feedback but your reputation in the community among the people who are above all this nonsense?

As every day passes a few more truly moronic posts are made by the 5 of you and you lose a little more credibility here, yet as every week goes by and WoodCollecter has a chance to post a few more videos it appears you are sinking further and further into a dark hole you have dug for yourselves until finally one day, the piece he is working on is done and fully finished, tiny little details and all and you are all left holding your dicks. Especially Jonald. You cant be serious with some of that shit.

Like you can judge an end product by the first step in making it.

Your lucky that 80% of this forum either does not care enough about the semantics from the 5 of you to even justify it with a responce, or they just plain dont want to get involved because they already know that anyone who stands up for woodcollecter is going to get negative trust feeedback from you as you have made it painfully clear that you have no reservations about abusing the trust system here.

Feel free to create another 100+ pages full of your garbage though, lord knows a dose of truth wont stop the likes of you fools.

EDIT:

EDIT:  left you negative feedback in the meantime.  I will remove it
if you remove my negative feedback promptly, otherwise I will
suggest others also neg rate you for your abuse of the trust
system as well as shilling for a known scammer.

Trying to manipulate others into agreeing with you forcing them to leave negative feedback is abuse of the trust system itself.

Edit the Edit: Nevermind, your to dumb to comprehend that.
5  Economy / Reputation / Re: Videos of WoodCollector Hand Carving: Care of MOB on: January 27, 2015, 02:14:13 AM

Oh wow!  You can even see where he left the laser in place on the B and it burned more than he wanted to!  How fucking sloppy can you be??

Hellot could you please not remove every ounce of doubt anyone ever had that you were an idiot.

Laser machine cutters are CNC controlled

you cant "leave the laser in place too long and have it burn more than you want to" the damn things are automated.

Could you guys be reaching any further with your wild accusations and conspiracy theory's to try and make people believe that half the crap you have said is anything close to proof.

WC , might as lock the thread... quit while you're "ahead" buddy.

What?

Edit: Oh i get it, you still think that i am an alt of WoodCollecter. What a nub !

No. The galleries and being a famous multi million dollar engraver were just part of his facade and scam. If this guy wanted to prove anything he could just show a short video of his galleries or one of him actually hand carving his intricate designs and everybody would be left eating their hat, but he hasn't so far.

Back on the stupid pills i see. Smoke and mirrors all the way.

can't let it go can you WC?  Gotta have the last word?

I'm honored to know that you think i am WoodCollecter. If i had half the talent he had in his big toe i would probably be retired already.

Oh no, I got negative feedback from SodaWarz. It's not even valid, because Woodcutter doesn't hand carve it's pieces, which is exactly what I state in my feedback towards him. Like I said before, his pieces are neat, but his morals aren't.

Sounds like SodaWarz is grasping at straws.  Roll Eyes

Really? Are we going there now? You're really only proving my point. This was never a fact finding mission. Nothing more than a kid grabbing a torch and pitchfork and rallying a mob so he feels important. You can all sit here and argue the semantics of it all for months to come, But it is more than clear that you have lost, in a bad way. As far as i can tell short of 2 days taken to get some video together and fight with youtube, it has been business as usual for WC, and all of you have spent an entire week trying to defend your non defensible points with semantics and smoke and mirrors. Which you are soon to prove for me within the next few minutes when any one of you replies with your next bit of garbage. Meanwhile, i have not seen, nor do i really need to see a single post besides the original post out of WC on this topic, yet i see a new coin released not even an hour ago and more orders coming in daily for other things from what i see. Seems to me that WC does not view any of you as a threat, as he shouldn't. He called it on day one "Witch Hunt", handled it as he should have, and left all of you to rant and argue about semantics among yourselves. Me? I find it refreshing to see a man handle his shit like a boss. Call me a sock, a shill, whatever you want. If you want to start throwing names around because someone calls a four legged animal that barks, wiggles its tail, and drools like a dog, a dog, then you just have at it. Its the only ammo you have left and its clear, if someone speaks out to put any of you in your place about this crap, you call them a shill, a sock, a whatever, you have not one thing else. Everything else is just semantics.

Same writing style as woodcollector and his socks , terrahasher and ukcrypto.

Sodawarz is with out a dout WoodCollector.

BadBear has confirmed that Sodawarz is WoodCollector, and BadBear has access to IP addresses. As quoted in negative trust comment:

"Probable alt of WoodCollector, leaves himself fake vouches and falsifies trust ratings"

be careful with that, this is a witch hunt full of speculation. if you dont have photos or video proof your going to get burned.

How did he make the guide or the lines at the start of the video?

By gluing the design to the wood then tracing it with a plunger router. 30 seconds on youtube and you can see how its done. Just look it up.

LOL so you are speaking for WoodCollector?

Let's get the facts from WoodCollector in an actual video of him putting that stencil on and not just speculate.

It sure as hell was not carbon paper.

Looks like a laser to me (in my opinion).

Stop with the "know it all" comments and let's have WC post proof or stfu.

Thanks

Semantics, Pretty sure its already been covered that it was done with a router over paper not carbon paper. Yep, it's been covered already.

So when this masterpiece comes up on auction, the winning bidder should probably be informed that the middle finger WC uses comes from stock just as his other "originals" do.

http://depositphotos.com/40151223/stock-illustration-illustration-of-middle-finger.html

More Semantics, He said long before he started the piece that it was a stock image as this little project was not worth more time that a stock image on mahogany.

Glad to see we can repeat ourselves time and again with the same old semantics you were using a week ago.

Since were playing the semantics game, lets play my favorite game "here is the facts as written in the encyclopedia"

As Derivative works done in his own style his pieces are LEGALLY considered original. Dont take my word for it, ITS RIGHT HERE. So calling them original works is 100% the truth and fact. Thats not semantics, that's universally the truth

16  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Raffle Tickets for "Claire" the Water pipe & a charity donation on: January 25, 2015, 11:08:32 PM
As an honorable man, after the thread got moved to the "games and rounds" thread it got 0 traffic. So he started a new thread announcing that he was going to give it another day or two then hold the drawing regardless but if the total 20 tickets were not sold that there would be no donation.

As if you really cared and were not just here to try and infest every thread that WC ever started with you and your mobs B.S. Protokol Won, and already has the piece and from what i heard is quite pleased with it. WC lost money on this one and still held the raffle to make sure that people got what they paid for and that someone won it without having to wait a year for all 20 tickets to sell.

Please take a look at this picture ...please note the bottem of the B between the 2 vertical lines of the bitcoin logo.. note the hexagons that look like the vector art copy and past images dont line up ...why would this be done by hand....unless it was dont by a machine a human artist wouldnt do this type of mistake.....

clearly CNC laser.....

this is by far the most damning evidence that this was not HAND CARVED and indeed  LASER CNC worked

its the simple mistakes

Grasping at straws. Perfect example.
18  Economy / Reputation / Re: Videos of WoodCollector Hand Carving: Care of MOB on: January 25, 2015, 10:10:40 PM
I don't really care if he uses a laser or not. I've already posted at length to indicate that OP is:

1. deceitful

2. selling his wares at several thousand % profit

I strongly suggest everyone take the time to review my post on the matter: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=864472.msg10237658#msg10237658

Yes, please divert your attention from the facts that this whole thing was blown insanely out of proportion and go over to a thread where you can read pages upon pages of a sales pitch to convince you to lynch an honest man.

I think at this point we are primarily arguing about semantics. I don't think this is anywhere near the scandal it was made out to be.

Finally a voice of reason......

So first you say he applied those router lines by hand then you say he "could".

LOL so are you back pedaling now? Sure sounded like you KNEW he did it now you are saying he could have done it by that means.

 Grin Grin Grin

Yes we should all listen to TECSHARE and heed his advice/insights as ultimate truth.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

And now were back to the childish nonsense......

Truly pathetic, all of you. Grasping at straws while your ship is sinking.... "We made false accusations and we got called on it, quick, everyone argue about the semantics of it all and try to divert attention back to the threads where we looked like we knew what we were talking about. Dont let anyone know we were wrong on so many levels. "

You guys can leave all the "RED" you want under whoever you want to. It will not and has not hurt anyone's credibility but your own. BadBear and Tomatocage are prime examples of this, look through their sent feedback, a giant wall of red, 90% of the time repeating the same copy paste coment across dozens of accusations. BG4 too. Nobody takes anything you leave for feedback as anything more than a childish way of stomping your feet and running away mad. Who uses the default trust list anymore since members like Vod and Nubbins have shown there is a fault in the system and people like them do not deserve to be on it. The default trust list in this place is starting to become a who's who list of who not to trust around here.
19  Economy / Reputation / Re: Videos of WoodCollector Hand Carving: Care of MOB on: January 25, 2015, 08:09:43 PM
Would you trust woodcollector with everthing you have seen and read....then please send coins to 1LatheNNRsWhSZBcFvXpkZd1P3Wz4yA3Vz( woodcollectors Lathe funds)  and see if he will send them back.... I know I wouldnt!!!

Oh yes, lets all send bitcoin to a guys "tip address" without telling him that we are expecting to have the funds sent back, further lets waste more of his time by creating yet another chore for him to take care of in sending all those coins back to people when he didnt ask for "must be refunded" donations to his tip address. If anything he should keep every dang satoshi sent to that address as payment for all the time of his this idiot mob has wasted.

Go Ahead BG4, send him some bitcoin, prove you are not just trying to distract from the fact that your antics as part of this mob have been called out publicly. Cant say for sure, but i'd be willing to bet that even though you do not deserve it, if you asked professionally and told him you made a mistake that he would probably send them back to you anyways.
20  Economy / Reputation / Re: Videos of WoodCollector Hand Carving: Care of MOB on: January 25, 2015, 07:29:41 PM
You obviously do not think it is possible to carve that kind of detail without having some kind of reference do you? I would say that burning a sketch of what he is to carve into the wood would not take away from the fact that he was hand carving his pieces.

Reference is one thing as I assume would be done via carbon paper.

Smoothie made the point earlier here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=935115.msg10252734#msg10252734
...that this was likely not done by carbon paper,
but appears to have some depth to it.

Take a look at the image Smoothie attached.  You can see that
it's already been carved up to the edge.  Seems to me that all WC is really
doing is removing more wood that surrounds the pre-made groove... with
some kind of tool.

Do you really consider that "hand carving" ?

Nope, not done by carbon paper, although that is normally the method of choice for most wood carvers, it was very clear to see he knew what he was doing as carbon will not adhere in the slightest bit to Mahogany most times because if you look at the end grain under a microscope it have very tight closed up poors. Most times you smear and mess up the carbon trace just from removing the carbon sheet. Instead he clearly attached a printout on paper to the wood with glue then traced it out with his router. Then used either a planer, or large joiner to remove the rest of the paper as can be seen by the chatter marks left on the wood where the glue left tear out.

I cant find the exact post, but i know he said not too long ago. "how hard do you really think it is to cut around the lines? i think they teach that in grade school with crayons"

His mastery of the skill comes not from his ability to "cut around the lines" but in that he can from start to finish carve on some of the most difficult woods in the world to work with. Wood that 80% of your so called "master carvers" as they claim on youtube and the woodworking forums would not touch in a hundred years because it takes some serious talent to carve them.

A few more details all of you "masters of making things with wood" are missing.

When carving on hard woods, the only way to do it is to work backwards, With most common carving woods like basswood, you can jump right in with the chisels and get to work. Once you have removed all the bulk material you come in with a dremmel and do the detail work and fine edges.... With hard wood you cannot do this, hardwood is dense and has tight grain. going at it with a chisel is going to cause it to splinter and break off all your detail lines before you can get them cut out. With hardwood, like this piece of Mahogany he is carving is, you have to first cut the relief around all your detail sections to ensure that when you are chiseling that you don't gouge, tear, or splinter places where there are suppose to be fine detail.

Let me just disclose right now before it becomes another piss poor attempt at furthering this witch hunt. I am a carpenter, did it all through college. I make wood things too. I even carve wood, Basswood, Pine, Birch, all the common carving woods. Its really not that hard to do at all. I recently made a coffee table out of Amboyna Burl and Rosewood, 2 very hard woods. Burls are the worst, actually almost impossible to carve. With my now 5 years of carving experience, I wont touch it, i want a design carved into the table top, but would not dream in my wildest dreams of touching that table with a dremmel or a chisel. So i sent the design (guess what i am using images bought from graphic driver) to WC to review, and he very happily agreed to do it for me. It may not mean shit to you lowlifes, but i am honored to have a true master artisan wood carver work on a piece for me. There is no way that 90% of even skilled carvers could do it, and any that attempt it would do nothing more than mess up the piece. Anyways, to summarize. YES I AM A CLIENT OF WC'S, YES I HAVE SPENT MONEY WITH HIM, and NO I AM NOT A SHILL,  i am a man with a brain able to use reason and common sense.
