1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: October 26, 2017, 09:39:09 AM
I think the only that anyone will learn from gambling is greed will only destroy us. It's what drives all people to try gambling and it's not just your money that is in the risk but it could be also your whole life once you are trapped in your gambling addiction.

You have to discipline yourself as a person to gamble safely and for entertainment. You have to have many other variables in your life stable.  Most people who end up with gambling problems dont have the control over their life in other areas and try to find the quick easy answer with thrill of gambling. Good things come to those who are smart about their life approach.
1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again the bitcoin price falls to $ 4000? on: October 26, 2017, 09:29:17 AM
I really hope so) you Need to shop for B2X. Most likely it will happen. Many are waiting for this cruel fork.

People have to buy up the coin to get the forked coins though so after this fork comes another and another until coinmarketcap page is full of forked coins.  Forks of this type could be the killer app or the next ICOs.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone else find this Roger Ver Tweet to be symbolic of mind-blowing greed? on: October 26, 2017, 09:25:13 AM

Well we reached $6k with core i dont see how $10k is actually that much different considering we've come from zero.  If he said we could have been at $100k+ then thats a big difference.
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: October 24, 2017, 06:28:04 PM
Because cash can reach anyone and can be used to pay anything, while bitcoin can only be used for bitcoin owners only, bitcoin can only be used as a means of payment for stores that receive it only. But bitcoin also has advantages that are not owned by ATM, kaetu credit, bank and cash money.

You dont have to own bitcoin or a wallet to receive it for payments for goods or services if you use coinbase/bitpay etc.  The way the world is currently i do find cash more useful for many things but that will change.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin forks stealing Bitcoin name, Boo Hoo! on: October 24, 2017, 06:00:36 PM
Its not just direct forks of bitcoin but aren't some newly created alt cryptos also called bitcoin whatever etc.  Its not been a problem up to now with them so in theory it should not matter. People get slightly concerned that roger ver owns bitcoin.com though so there is a slight threat of watering down the original bitcoin with these "copies".

1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when is the right time to invest on bitcoin on: October 20, 2017, 08:14:34 AM
Based on my own observation the right time to buy bitcoin is when its price  go down or low it is really a great chance when its price is low because the expenses also is low and maybe it gives you a great big profit in return because we all have seened the amazing price of bitcoin from the past years till now it is really amazing.

Haha nobody knows what is low or what is high.  Any price below $100k etc could be considered a bargain in 2-4 years.  The best thing to do is just buy small amounts weekly or if you want to gamble hold out for a market pull back but if you want the best price it will always mean holding fiat on exchanges which has a risk.
1290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: October 19, 2017, 07:32:22 PM
Edit: If you are wondering at what price, i sold at $5720. I bought Litecoin with ithat money.

Its a decent price to exit a small amount maybe but why would you put it in litecoin when litecoin has had a much large run in percentage terms - from just over $1 to where it is now, its like a 40x move.  If the market did ever go back down you might see litecoin at $5 to $10 my friend.
1291  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: NEED LARGE AMOUNT BTC on: October 19, 2017, 07:28:01 PM
Good evening.

I have a question.
So' s there a request for large amount of BTC.
There is needed a UBS bank client.
I've able to wire a 20.000.000 Euro for UBS bank client.
So, an amount in BTC for me is a 3800 BTC it is not 4197 as official rate.
Please, give me PM a data with such, I may do a transfer? and I will send a wire transfer in EURO.

If you are serious then bitfinex offer OTC trades for large buyers, i've seen them pause the market price many a time while the OTC trade completes via large and and sell orders each side of the market. This is so the OTC buyer gets a stable price while the trade goes through.
1292  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: UK Members - Would you use a Bitcoin ATM? on: October 19, 2017, 11:18:53 AM
Question to all UK members as per the title.

Doing a little research and am interested in gathering people's thoughts on it.

Yes i would use a bitcoin ATM in the UK.  The current one from me is about 100 miles which makes in too costly from petrol alone to ever bother with.  If there was 1 in ech city or town nationwide i would regularly use it.  Im guessing they only make decent profit in large uptrends else we would see more.
1293  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: October 19, 2017, 11:12:42 AM
This is getting ridicules. please watch out for your coins, because nobody else should.
And if you keep your coins at an exchange, especially with the upcoming shitstorm, make at least sure that you have the private keys. Smiley

What shitstorm do you mean? the forks?  also you cant have private keys if you keep coins at exchange right?
1294  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Users Double Every 12 Months on: October 19, 2017, 11:06:30 AM
Bitcoin users double every 12 months while the price is doubling every 6 months, look how the price was at $3000 almost 6 months ago and look how it is at $5600 almost doubled. but I don't know where the whole world will own some Bitcoin is coming from? population is increasing, Bitcoin will never catch on with every body.

I read somewhere that the price on average has been doubling every 12 months approx which seems about right in recent years.  Currently we were just under valued so long down in the hundreds that it seems like a bigger climb than it actually is recently.  Just from observations the active users in bitcoin seems to be around x4 or x5 vs a year or 2 ago.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2017, 11:01:00 AM
Yeah, you can get medicines with it. That's great so that Bitcoin has much more additional-price. I have by no means examined since I never want it.

Yes im sure you can get medicines but just make sure the medicine is legit and also in date.  I for sure would not want to use any liquid medicine out of date. Always best to just go to your doctor though in most cases unless you are after weed and you are in a country where its illegal.

will Bitcoin Gold be on kraken?

I would be interested to know what happens on kraken with bitcoin if there are forked coins.  What would be ideal is i get the forked coin pretty much instantly or with 24 - 48 hours even if kraken is not doing a direct market.  Otherwise it makes sense to withdraw coins for forks.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The buy wall on: October 18, 2017, 12:34:54 PM
It's not a good strategy unless you have millions or billions of dollars. You are underestimating the number of sharks out there who are willing to spend a few millions just to eat you up.

Even the combined efforts of the whole community far surpass the whales ability to truly control the market enirely.  The community establish the trend and approx price, the whales try to distaught the price to the high or low so as much as possible but the trend is always the strongest measure.

Whales effected the price more when it was at a lower value. Whales used to crash and pump up more effectively then but now days its more of a community effort. But I still believe that whales influence the market more than we realize.

Oh yeah for sure when there were just 2 or 3 big players in the game they could communicate and combine efforts more easy.  Whats happened since is big bitcoin holders have parted ways + we have new money in the game also. we must have 100 decent size whales these days and that is harder for them to communicate and combine efforts.

1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Being Manipulated on: October 17, 2017, 02:49:41 PM
Hello y'all, I recently noticed something about Bitcoin, it seems that the countries that have more users of the crypto are manipulating the currency behind the scene. Forget the issue of it being demand and supply. Take a look at when China brought up a regulation on bitcoin in the country, the price of bitcoin dropped rapidly, so that the rich elites can buy much of the currency during that period since the price is now lower.

The bigger the market cap the bigger the players but with china the gov seem to get interested really early in bitcoins market cap growth, seems like they do a great job on controlling new variables over there.  USA gov were also interested very early back in late 2013.  With these super power govs come insiders and manipulation of markets.  Its all good though just hodl.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Booms in Evolving Markets on: October 16, 2017, 04:06:50 PM
This is something that I am shocked to see taking so long. Bitcoin is an ideal currency in many of these countries and I am surprised that it hasn't been even more widespread. For example Bitcoin is vastly superior to the high fees of Western Union.

Its superior but because its new its currently not adopted and so people cant use it for day to day things so easy.  Once the big money payment processors, banks and gov are forced to join the party everyone can use it much easier. Anything devs can do mean time to help with user friendliness would help.
