Can i just confirm with someone... if i hold my btc on the core fullnode wallet 0.15 this means at the time of the 2x fork i get 1 x segwit original coins and 1 x segwit 2x coins?   My coins right now are held in an address that starts with 1, does that make it a non segwit address etc? does that still make me get both coins at time of fork?

Neymar speculations future looks very interesting that if he return to Laliga and being real Madrid player and i can't imagine reaction from Barcelona fans when both of teams met each other in el classico match probably he will get the same treatment just like Luis Figo several years ago however there was a rumour for Coutinho future that besides Barcelona Juventus also serious interested to get this player

Would for sure bet on coutinho to barca in january. Neymar joining madrid would be a strange one, maybe PSG was just a plan to not get hated on so much, im guessing the move wont happen though. I remember the Figo moves years ago it was brutal.

This just came in. Slaven Bilic has been sacked by West Ham after the horrible loss against Liverpool last Saturday. Leaving the club are Bilic's coaching assistants. They are currently looking at David Moyes as the new candidate for the managerial position.
Even though he has been a great manager, I think his sacking is rightly justified because they have been playing very badly off late, Moyes is rather an even worse replacement but since there is really no other alternative i think he will be given the job.

Cant believe they are giving the job to moyes. Did they see the job he did at united sunderland and in spain? seriously would think even roy hodson would be a better replacement than moyes.

That's what I was thinking too. Surely there are a lot of good canditates to replace Bilic. Heck, they could even get Ancelotti if they have the money for him. And Carlo Ancelotti is already a proven winner in the Prem too.

Ancelotti is a perfectly decent pick but in a potential relegation dog fight now they need to get back to basics and bring in big sam. Hes done it before and would do it again, the guy knows how to win ugly.

I've taken a couple month break since the mtgox meeting from looking at anything mtgox.  I guess the aim of the legal group is to get bitcoin paid out as bitcoin? or is it to just make sure all surplus goes to the creditors?

The most important thing is to try and get our fair share of what they're calling 'the surplus'.

The lawyers will be reporting back to the group on Tuesday, 7th November after doing a couple of weeks research on the case.

We would also like payment in Bitcoin but that's a minor point compared to giving all that money to Mark Karpeles instead of the claimants.

Right now they plan on paying us $480 / 50,000 JPY per Bitcoin claimed based on the Bitcoin price in 2014.

Yeah we'd defo all be better off with the surplus going our way vs karpeles. I knew he was up to something fishy with his reddit activity. I will be looking to get involved in the group in the coming weeks. Thanks for update.

Everton held on to earn their first win under caretaker boss David Unsworth as Watford threw away a two-goal lead and Tom Cleverley missed an injury-time penalty for the visitors.

what a comeback for everton though, from 0-2 into 3-2

Amazing comeback but still think everton were poor and lucky to get 3-2 out of that game.  Again rooney means they have 10.5 men starting the game and not 11. I'd bet on a new manager coming in soon.
1229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kaspersky Discoveres New Cryptocurrency Stealing Trojan Called CrryptoShuffler on: November 06, 2017, 09:28:13 AM
Hardware wallets have solved this issue. They display the address on the screen so you can clearly see if there was tampering or not. With Bitcoin price of 7500$ (at the moment of writing this) I don't think that investing 100$ into hardware wallet in order to secure your coins is a bad idea.

I think its a good idea but i cant fully 100% trust a hardware wallet, any reason why i should? Maybe having a % in your hardware wallet is the way to go.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I lose Segwit2 fork coins due to not holding enough bitcoin? on: November 06, 2017, 09:24:56 AM
As far as i know its not based on amounts. If you have BTC in your wallet you own the same amounts of the forked coin when the fork happens. Maybe there is a different rule is you have money on exchanges.

1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Ways to test the password on: November 05, 2017, 08:08:47 PM
On bitcoin core wallet if i want to test i have set the password correctly and know it what are my options. Obviously could send a small amount to myself i know, thats what i normally do.

Hmm so i just deposited some byteball onto the exchange, never had any problems before now.  The byteball is confirmed from my wallet but not showing on bittrex.  In past its been super quick. What to do?

Theres nothing to do except to wait and contact their support because the problem clearly lies on them. Send a concise request followed by proofs e.g. TXID, screenshot/s etc. here https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Also try getting an invitation on their slack and ask there. I heard some users got replies there just don't forget to ask in a pleasant manner as they might ban you.

I did that and will just wait and see. Probably a 50/50 atm judging by what the people are saying iit. I can understand they have many people to deal with right now but hope they deal with all.

Can anyone confirm that they've been able to deposit byteball into bittrex today? i sent mine couple hours ago and wallet says confirm but nothing on exchange.

How long do confirmations take for byteball, is there anywhere i can view the transactions confirming?

1238  Economy / Economics / Re: Will CME crypto product allow bitcoin manipulation? on: November 05, 2017, 11:27:25 AM
The gold market folks complain products like this hold the price of gold down but i reckon that just excuses and them pumping gold sales.  Maybe because gold isn't easy to transact p2p makes futures markets able to control gold prices, who knows.  Fact is this is good news for btc and good luck controlling the price i say.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unsecured WiFi on: November 05, 2017, 10:10:36 AM

Buy a couple spare laptops for public use. Since the bitcoin price has gone up its worth upgrading your secuirty.  I have thought the same before though OP, i got told it is possible to hack via wifi but very hard and unlikely.
1240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this SUDDEN price rise good for BTC? on: November 05, 2017, 10:07:02 AM

The higher the better imo. Yeah we might crash but the amount of interest and new people coming into the eco system due to the hype sets us up well for the future years. With the bigger investors into the market its very hard for this to die off.
