Hello Everyone!

Thank you very much for participating in the ENJIN COIN Signature Campaign!

We're going to be ending this campaign at the end of this week - so if you're currently part of the campaign please continue this week until Decoded has counted the posts and we've sent out the final payouts on Friday!

It's been a great campaign and we really appreciate everyone who has promoted Enjin Coin on Bitcointalk for the last 3 months!

thanks for the notice, good luck in your project.

1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed transaction 102.335 sat/B on: October 13, 2017, 12:12:53 PM

I upgraded to 0.15 and the fee estimater on this version seems to do a more accurate job, not sure. You have to wait until its in sync though, i did by accident send out 1 test transaction with like 20 satoshi fee of something crazy low - guess i will be waiting a few days for that to clear.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Putin Good or Bad? on: October 12, 2017, 08:51:30 AM

Russia have been flip flopping for years already on bitcoin.  The fact they are talking about it is a good compliment.  I remember 2-3 years ago when all the russians got banned from trading on BTC-e.  Seems like they are trying to be the new china but dont have the mining power to be very relevant.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold on: October 12, 2017, 08:44:36 AM
I'm not really convinced about Bitcoin Gold but maybe i'm wrong. I'm curious what you think about Bitcoin Gold so feel free to vote or share your opinion here.

Never heard of it, sounds like just another scam coin to add to the list, please move topic to altcoins.
1306  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Which hardware wallet 2017? on: October 11, 2017, 09:22:32 AM
I don't know many people that use a dice and an airgapped PC to create their private keys, so sooner or later you're going to have to trust somebody (wether it's the community, the reviewers, the manufacturer,...)

Between trusting the community, the reviewers, the manufacturer etc i would pick the communities long term judgement on open source product as the best thing to trust.  So what does that mean to me... having the bitcoin core wallet on a linux operating system, is maybe the safest bet - Has anyone ever been hacked on a linux system hot wallet?
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inherit coins to my family after passed away on: October 11, 2017, 08:17:36 AM
The only one who know my coins investments, wallets, private keys, is me. So the question is how to inherit this information to my family? to give them privilege to access it after I passed away  Embarrassed.

You should make a safe where you place there information such as private keys wallets and everything that you want them to inherit, and let them know where you hid it then give it to them before passing away, or tell someone that you trust the most then let him do the job of inheriting in case you die accidentally.

I dont like keeping too much of the same information in the same place.  So a safe with all the details and private keys concerns me, what if i get a burglar etc, a safe means i got something good for them.  What i have done up to now is just informed a family member that in my house there are details to access everything in different locations - this would probably take them several days to work out where the bitcoin is.  This is vague information but best i can do right now.
1308  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Which hardware wallet 2017? on: October 11, 2017, 08:10:55 AM

Which hardware wallet do you think is the best to get in 2017? (price not important, security and ease of use is)

How do you know the manufacturer hasn't installed something malicious in the hardware wallet?

I saw a unanswered question on youtube saying, what happens if the hardware wallet chip fails can you get you bitcoin back?
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto hedge funds? on: October 10, 2017, 10:44:53 AM
What do you think about crypto hedge funds?

Sounds like another 3rd party which contains extra risk for your money.  If you think the hedge fund can invest better than yourself then ok but you have to take some % off the investment for the risk you take by giving them your money.  Barry silbert does a great job taking the super rich's money in return for simple investment in BTC or ETC.
1310  Economy / Services / Re: 🎮 ENJIN 🎮 Signature Campaign - BIG reward on: October 10, 2017, 10:39:01 AM
I'm back to clear up the confusion above.

Due to Theymos (?) deleting large signature campaign threads that are inactive without warning, post counts have been dropping significantly. Because of this, posts will be counted not from the previous week's post count, but from the forum time that my post counting update of the previous week was posted. That should make it easier for everyone.

Perfect thank you.

Hmmm i've been posting since saturday and my posts on bitcointalk still = the same as my starting posts.  Not sure if its a forum error or what.

It looks like forum is under heavy load lately and this might be drawback. I can notice significant decrease in speed when i try to open some pages and several times i got 506 response.

Ok but it might also be that Theymos has deleted some old threads, a few other people have lost post count as a result:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2250575.0

Is there a way for my posts to be counted from saturday? (or whatever day it is?).

Maybe you can check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=377992;sa=showPosts to see which posts are still present. If something was deleted in the meantime, it will not show here.

All the posts i posted since saturday are there its just how this signature campaign works is when they count up they finish the count with your total posts.  So since Theymos has been deleting old threads from way back my post count was much lower.  I either need a new post count (the figure since saturday) or to be counted from saturday the date rather than the post count number.
1312  Economy / Economics / Re: Pissed of by eBay: I want to choose by myself which currency to accept on: October 09, 2017, 10:50:16 AM
Horrible eBay always forces you to receive USD, EUR or paypal.
If I sell my used stuff I want to choose which currency I get.

There is a lack of new trading platforms (similar to old eBay, old Amazon, old Alibaba) which offer their customers to choose receiving their desired cryptocurrencies.

These are free countries.
They have to stop forcing us!

They have a monopoly but they dont "force" you to do anything as such. You can either use them or use something lik open bazaar.  The problem is though everyone uses ebay etc.  I dont know why they dont allow you to accept crypto in some way though, ebay will argue they cant force a refund if the buyer has a problem with the transaction.  However ebay give you the ability to mark as payment received if you deal with cash for example on a trade you've made person to person.

Maybe ebay could have a feature where you put a certain amount of money/crypto in escrow with them while the crypto transaction goes through. This kinda feature would only be needed if you had little reputation on ebay anyway.  I know just recent i bought something via paypal and accidentally did it under the wrong account so i did not have any money in my bank connected to the paypal but because i had a large history with ebay/paypal they covered the cost and put my paypal in negative amount until i repaid it later.
1313  Other / Meta / Re: My post count are reducing. on: October 09, 2017, 10:30:37 AM
irrelevant posts or replys often got deleted by the mods, so if you're posting shit just to get your post count up it will be deleted when spotted by mods.

or threads get deleted=all your post in that thread gets deleted.

so now that i've posted this reply and mods find it irrelevant it will get deleted, no big deal

Its not single posts because you get notified when those posts get deleted.  It must be whole threads being deleted.

1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possible Bitcoin manipulation by banks on: October 09, 2017, 10:04:28 AM
So now that large Banks and investment firms are starting to get involved, do you think they will try to manufacture crash and correction scares to trigger more doubt and an exodus of "the weak hands"?

Yes they might do if we go higher enough in price, current figures are worth their time in crashing the market, we need to hit trillion dollar market cap first.  Remember manipulated markets are great because it shows the asset is worth manipulating, assets which are worth little get no attention.
1318  Economy / Economics / Re: The Supply of Bitcoin Is Limited. The Supply of Cryptos Isn't! on: October 07, 2017, 09:13:42 AM

So, I'm still thinking that gold and silver, whose scarcity is secured by physics, rather than computer code, are the superior forms of money for improving our freedom from governments and bankers.

The scarcity from crypto comes from mathmatics.  Physics which secures gold like you say is also a conceptual study at its core.  The physical reality makes gold have its current value.  Crypto currently has network effects, hashing power and intelligent community backing it - those a pretty decent things for 2017.  At some point in the future gold could easily become worthless via space travel or our ability to create gold properties with technology.
1319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex will list hard fork coin as an altcoin with ticher B2X on: October 07, 2017, 09:00:59 AM
Finex plans to list it is to give a objective measure to if the fork actually has any value.  The previous chain split token they launched was bitcoin unlimited and the trading volume on that pair was tiny.  The forks will continue while people can make money from them, just like alt coins.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 06, 2017, 09:31:52 AM

The thing about the large united odds to win... well they still have to play away at liverpool so the game could go either way.  International games also cause teams to lose their flow so do not be surprised if liverpool get something from this game. Im predicting a 1-1 in a very tight even game.
