541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Chart Scanner for Alts and BTC on: June 07, 2017, 07:30:59 PM
Been googling a little but cannot seem to come up with any decent chart scanners for Alts or even BTC.
You know, the scanners like ezytrader, multicharts etc that stocks use.

I see Coinigy has one in progress but no release date (2017?)
TradingView has scripts that can be run and alert when conditions are met, but doesn't support a lot of Alts and is restricted in the amount of pairs to scan.

There are a few scanners that do back testing on an individual pair but not many that continuously scan all markets and then alert when certain conditions are met in real time.

What do you guys use to find positions?

Cryptotrader on Kraken has volume and price alerts that you can set. i recently spoke to coinigy who also said that they would be added indicator alerts "coming soon"... I too am looking for something like this.. makes scanning all these exchanges easier
There are few exchange specific alarming bots are already available by integrating through api. Some coder offered such bots long back, but as I am having the limit order facility, I ignored those offers. I guess we can do trade at any specific price levels with limit order functionalities, but for watching market purposes it will not be helpful. And for volume based researches we must need bots.
542  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy a car with bitcoin? on: June 07, 2017, 06:51:54 PM
I don't think you can buy anything near a car with just bitcoins directly. You can however, sell those bitcoins and convert it to fiat and buy the car. If not, then you'll likely have to find a cryptohead that will accept bitcoins for his car.

Actually you can buy car with bitcoins but yes you need to be near to those sellers. If the seller is willing to ship his car for you, maybe you can shoulder the expenses for it. There is a website like this https://www.bitpremier.com/2-autos
Code:
"Buy Autos With Bitcoin"
all of the cars there are luxury.
But I did read that bitpremier is not maintaining their reputations by the way of lot of complaints against them. I guess we could not consider them as a reputed car dealer any more. Still I am not sure about their latest changes. Honestly we are need to work on lot of bitcoin based developments into them, car buying/selling services for bitcoin payments must be having higher priority as many people are demanding for it.
543  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why don't exchanges run their own bots? on: June 07, 2017, 06:16:22 PM
I have used bots some times and some of my friends are addicted to bots, I am just curious about this idea.

Why do not exchanges host the features in their own site as services,
why do they let 3rd party bots run instead of providing the possibilities themselves?

i think every exchanges have each of bots to control the markets beside of the traders using their bots too but exchanges don't tell the truth if they are using bots. with exchanges let the 3rd party using bots for doing trading, they hope that 3rd party can help the exchanges to make profits for the fee because when traders doing buy or sell orders, then they should pay some fee and its including as profit for the exchanges and they won't let this profit is gone.
I also did read similarly like exchanges are into a practice of populating fake orders/their own orders so that a typical trader will not bother about low volume/high gaps in trading environments. For these types of practices, exchanges must have used bots so that they will be able to do across different trading instrument and will be able to do on every price ranges too.

We can expect exchanges will start selling some of bots based services to their traders like reporting/scheduling kind of routine work based bots.
544  Economy / Marketplace / Re: question on money making guides on: June 07, 2017, 04:27:44 PM
I think MLM, or multi-level marketing, are not all ponzi. Some of them are legit, but the thing is that you should be the top-line and you have to recruit a lot of people to be your down-line to profit a lot. Hyips though. are something different and are just the waste of time.
An MLM should be considered as valid when there will be some actual business is involving. I mean to say if an MLM is just rotating people's money then it must be a ponzi. At the same time, if an MLM is paying commission for the work invoked for promoting a business then it should be considered as legit.

In simple other words, if MLM asks you to pay some $100 and they are giving you back some services or products which are worth for ~$100 then it will be legit. If you are paying $100 then you upper line is getting $10 and his upper line is getting another $10, then that must be a ponzi.

This way I could agree with you, if they are really promoting something or earning shares from sold products this system can work, but I have never seen any legit scheme like that using Bitcoins, all of them I have seen are Ponzi, HYIP schemes, luring people to think Crypto-Currency is a magical world where money comes from nothing to investors pockets.

And HYIPs are always scam. Guides advicing this kind of investment shouldn't be taken in consideration.
Yes, that must be a right explanation for identifying legit and scam MLM programs. As per this explanations, amway kind of companies are doing legit business models. Some investment based games are just rotating money from people and owners are taking some shares. We must avoid those programs as they are highly vulnerable to fail at any times.

Some people are claiming initial days all MLM are beneficial. But we need to remember a ponzi may scam us even from day one too. So avoiding them completely must be a right decisions.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 07, 2017, 03:03:41 PM
To all parents and soon to be parents out there,

Plan for your children or future children by saving Bitcoin for them. Buying them bit by bit would be a great investment for the future of your kids. I am saying that you must have a new wallet for your kids so that when they come at the right age, you can give them that wallet and imagine how bright their future will be. You can hold bitcoin for their education, life plans, or whatever you think of.

I believe that if you start storing bitcoin for them now, a bright future is ahead of them  Wink

I agree with saving Bitcoin for the future of your children but i disagree if you will buy Bitcoin even if its bit by bit because you need to think also of the worst case scenario. What if Bitcoin suddenly destroyed?. So if i were you if you want to save Bitcoin for your future children then i suggest don't buy Bitcoin instead join signature campaign and bounties and save those Bitcoin you get from joining signature or bounties for the future. That way if in the future if Bitcoin will be destroyed you will only wasted your time but not your money.

Bitcoin can help but by no means it should not be the main source for us to give our children a bright future. We need to work are ass off and being paid so provide good future for you and your loved ones. Stable job or own business + bitcoin erning = good life / bright future. But giving your wallet on your children, I don't like the idea. Maybe its better if you get a educational plans for your children.
Yes I agree it is good to educate them and giving a  wallet to you children can be harmful for them in such a context that they may not use it accordingly for the purpose that you have planned or for a good purpose and instead they misuse it.

Also we cannot predict that the things will remain the same and the Bitcoin price and demand will be as high as it is today. So keeping all these points in sight one should go for the decision.
546  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Accelerate your transactions via Antpool by yourself ! No need to ask anybody ! on: June 06, 2017, 05:28:38 PM
Why I need to register for a free services and when I am trying to register they are asking my mobile number, I am not preferring registering there.

Could anyone else test this services and share your experiences. I believe this community is looking for another great services like how viabtc is serving this community. It would be great if we are getting another transaction accelerator for free of cost.
547  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking for ideas to invest on: June 06, 2017, 01:48:17 PM
The only best in my ideas to invest is  save in bitcoin in my wallet so that in the future increases of the price i can sell and earned profit from my investment made. In waiting for so long i need a lot of patience to do because money is very important to save it.
I did see many people are suggesting investing into some altcoins and into some stocks but I am personally do not see they are having better potential than bitcoins. I mean bitcoin will remain as best performing currency in upcoming years too. Some experts are speculating bitcoin may reach million dollar in next 5 years then why not 10 millions in 10 or 15 years ?

As of now and for next 10 years, I believe bitcoin will remain as best investment opportunity for sure. Looking for others, may waste your time and capital.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 06, 2017, 10:09:10 AM
A beautiful analysis youve done there, actually all person that hold bitcoins will surely be a millionaire in the future, every pump made one wise person will be rich.
just by holding bitcoin a lots of opportunity to become rich is there, we needed to believe that this investment will really change our future lifestyle for those early holders they already enjoying the fortune that never been imagine before thanks to this system and lets all hold and wait for more.
We are discussing about the facts what we are experiencing but at the same time there people who are still ignoring adopting bitcoins at least for online transactions. I tried to convince few of friends who are sending out money across borders. They keep on arguing bitcoin with some reasons like ponzi/government regulations/fluctuation. I have showed proof in real time. Still I am not success making to adopt bitcoins.

I am honestly thanking bitcoins and Mr. Satoshi for bring such opportunities but I want to show my gratefulness by spreading bitcoin awareness. Because I believe that must be the right way to thank.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: June 06, 2017, 08:39:51 AM
The fact remains that the entire worlds wealth belong to the elite 1% of people and people are trying hard to be rich and the fact remains that if there is a void in any particular field and if you could focus your time in that and invest in a business then you could make millions.
Finding those void is that easier ? I am not pessimist still I mean to say we are all hard working to spot such opportunities still only those elite people are becoming further richer. I read Bill Gate may become first trillionire of human history in next 10 to 20 years. But I am not seeing there will be no guarantee all human will be getting food at least once a day in same period of time.

Becoming rich is every human's dream. People who are making use of opportunities they come across, finding their way for realizing their dreams. I believe bitcoin must be a way for me to realize my dreams. Now bitcoin is trying to hit $3000, just a witness for my dream on the right path.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobody Can Have Benefit From a Big Pump on: June 06, 2017, 08:05:59 AM
If Bitcoin price pumps from $1300 to $3000 in few hours, nobody would make profit from it, because the exchanges wouldn't allow you to sell your Bitcoins and make the fast profit, it would bring a big loss for exchange sites.

Do you agree with this?

You can make quick transactions on many exchanges like poloniex. Exchanges like Coinbase however are not set up for quick transactions.

Exactly, that's why I disagree with the OP because you can actually benefit for a few hours and not necessarily that everyone cannot benefit, some can actually profit quickly from the exchanges.
You people mean how quickly we will be executing our sell orders ? That is the requirement only when prices falling down immediately after hitting a big peak prices. But not just due to exchnages, usually we cannot sell at exact peak prices. I also disagree with OP because we can benefit from big pumps given that there will be enough time for that peak prices to sustain.

When a pump is falling down suddenly then obviously no one can get benefits out of it. When a pump involves more than $200 gaps, we can be sure to get some benefit from that.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: June 05, 2017, 02:33:56 AM
Last year I tried to build online advertising platform with friends.
I didn't have enough funds so I spend some of my btc funds in the wallet.
I also cash out some of my btc funds in order to buy a new computer.
So, after all, I feel that I used my btc money wisely but now, when I see btc price, not sure any more Smiley
Well this is true that the bitcoin now a days is preferred by the people to not to spend and save it only. It personally doesn’t sound good to me. Whatever the price may be I don’t care if I am in need to spend some I will definitely spend them. I don’t like it being stingy and greedy all the time. The life is to enjoy no worries if you spend a little on yourself. To me the loveliest time is when I spend my earnings on myself.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 04, 2017, 07:36:51 PM
I think most of the games are ninety percent luck. But there are some games where risks can be significantly reduced if you have a good strategy. Though, it's not so simple. Essensial factors to build such strategy involve knowledge of probabilities. There are cases of people, with very good knowledge of math and probability, who have managed to make fortunes from it, but the cases are rare.
Yeah, when it comes to a ninety percent of luck then I think there will be no or a very much low use of the knowledge stuff, even if you are an experienced or an unexperienced person it really don’t matters. If something that much depends on the luck then I guess there is no need to be skilled or experience. If you are lucky enough you will win and if not then you will not that’s what the reality of the gambling is.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I always lose all my tokens and btc on gambling~ on: June 04, 2017, 06:53:12 PM
I guess, gambling is not actually for me.
I kinda feel bad on all the tokens wasted on gambling but it's kinda my "when I'm bored" hobby.
Do you guys have any tips on how to not to lose all you tokens on gambling?
Well if it is a hobby and you take it just as a hobby then it is cool but if you want to make money from the gambling and it don’t works for you then it is not ok. In my opinion gambling is a profession and if you want to adopt it as a profession then you need to be serious about it and make some necessary changes in your life. Tokens are not something that always work you need to learn poker, dice roll and such games with extensive sharp skills.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Secrets of sports betting on: June 03, 2017, 08:38:37 PM
One secret that I would like to share everyone is that always back the underdogs and go for the big odds rather than backing favorites.

Actually when you see sports like tennis specially you will notice a lot of underdogs wins matches and players like Nadal would loose more often than the odds suggest ( more on hard and grass courts ) so these are some important tips for anyone dong sports betting.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: June 03, 2017, 07:09:06 PM
When it comes to gambling, betting is the best thing for beginners, I was initially involved in sports betting, then increased to poker and roullete tables. Bets make our brain faster and rilex in every analysis, this is much different from trading that requires our mind to think only profit without the element of entertainment at all.
Yes sports betting is considered as the only way to earn money in gambling because the arbitrage, logic, skill and everything can be applied.

I have seen people who gave me some horrendous tennis picks and when I asked them why they chosen such picks they simply gave me reasons like the player is suffering and logically impossible to win. So, yeah betting is a nice way of earning if you are in touch with a professional analyzer.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: June 01, 2017, 06:02:18 PM
Like many people here, I am also interested to invest only with the bitcoin rather than risking in any other altcoins. Bitcoin investments is coming with some minimum guarantee like if we are ready to hold it for years then we can become millionaire too.

Yes, it is highly dependent on how long you are able to hold your bitcoin investments. There are people who are holding their bitcoin investment from 2011 and enjoying their holding just by watching by becoming millionaire by this time.
It is true, but I doubt that $500 will make anyone millionaire from this point of time.
Because bitcoin prices are already above $2000 price levels and to become millionaire, we may to wait for decades.
But for a teenage investor, it will not be a big deal because he might be getting chances to retire as a millionaire just because of some investments into bitcoin in his earlier days.
557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ARBITRAGE: Bitstamp -> CEX.IO - Proof of Concept on: June 01, 2017, 05:47:17 PM
if it was possible someone with more experience would have been doing it already! so the difference wouldn't have existed in first place.
Yes, that must be one of the practical problem of arbitrage trading. Price gaps may fade away in quick time or will fall into narrow range which may not cover the trading and withdraw fees. Probably we may utilize such gap for one time and these gaps may not available for subsequent tries.

here is a screenshot of the market at https://cex.io/trade
you can see that when you sell you sell to 2600ish price
Now prices are into $2500 ranges. It means cex prices started to converge toward other market prices. (maybe someone started arbitrage after seeing this topic  Wink)
558  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: June 01, 2017, 05:05:21 PM
no doubt that Etherium has good potential to increase, it can really give you good profit in long term but i think in present time the investment in bitcoin will be more profitable as compare to Etherium. because the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing and it s expected that very soon it is going to cross 3000 USD very soon.
Do not believe into Ethereum too much. There are blockchain based projects has already started and now into testing phase which are similar to provide the smart contract facilities but based on blockchain technologies. Those dapps now could be developed based on blockchain itself.

Altcoin trading is okay to have for short term benefits, I never suggest them for long term nor for regular consistent income generations. Ethereum may get fade away how litecoin has faced some times back.
559  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Who's paying for transaction fees in Loan? on: June 01, 2017, 04:50:23 PM
From what I am seeing, most lenders shoulder the fees. But seems like the fees are getting pretty absurd and maybe we'll see more people asking to share for the fees. Though I think borrowers should return the favor by putting enough fees as well.
Yes, sharing seems as a feasible solution here. While taking loan, lender needs to take care of tx fees and on re-payment, borrower needs to pay the tx fees. This must have some sensible approaches and both the parties must enter a gentlemen agreement for including at least low priority fees as reputed site's suggestions.

Alternative solution for priority fees : the loan period should start only after the first confirmations and similarly closing time also should be calculated based on repayment's confirmation time.

Just suggestions, probably the real time lenders might have their own convenient plans.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 01, 2017, 04:35:52 PM
Buy a Bitcoin place it in a cold wallet and give it to your child when he will be 18 years old. MAGIC!
Yes, I am already into plans of having bitcoins as my retirement account and saving it for my grand children like that. But, recent speculations are making me to have second thoughts about my plans as in next 5 to 10 years itself bitcoin might have value more than millions. In that case I do not need to wait till my retirements to enjoy my bitcoins and if I save some portions of my bitcoins for my child and grand-child then definitely that would make them multimillionaires for sure.
