1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin P2P lending is dead. on: September 26, 2016, 06:36:14 AM
it is not dead and never will be dead. any lending system whether it is in bitcoin or fiat is based on trust and unless that trust is provided no one can trust anyone!

what you did is like a bank instead of asking for collateral (e.g. taking your house) sets up an open box filled with cash that anybody can come put his hand in and take some.
Lending business should not die, as it will have more potentials to contribute to the development of bitcoin related businesses. I have seen bank system have made miracles in rural development in many countries, similarly we could expect bitcoin lending will take bitcoin to many new people.

Properly managing this business must be more important so that both the lender and borrower will get the true benefits of lending. More options for valid collateral would help this business to grow, I believe.
1322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? on: September 25, 2016, 08:02:12 PM
What is happening with the price? I was not active here or watching the price for the last week- or two. It is still less than 600$, and it was around 600$ twoo weeks ago. Did it go up or down, or was it holding still the whole time? I hope I did not miss anything.
It has been low since 3 weeks and fluctuating between $590-$615 and there hasn't been any changes. As you say it was $600 2 weeks ago, it just increased to $611 last week and then again dropped. I am still holding for sometime and sell the bitcoins as I really don't feel it may reach $650 anytime soon.
1323  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: September 22, 2016, 08:23:49 PM
This question is probably very worried many because the money is produced on the internet and porn on the internet, too. Therefore, bitcoin is very important for the possibility of payment. But see sites is not rebuilt or are not going to move until bitcoin.
Bitcoin will give a boost to porn sites to move on further as porn site's requirements are easily satisfied with the bitcoin payment system. The benefit of being anonymous with the bitcoin payments, I am always prefer to pay for my porn contents with the bitcoins even I am a strong believer of future of bitcoin and I hate spending bitcoins.
1324  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: September 22, 2016, 07:55:39 PM
I told her about bitcoin from describing the basics of the blockchain for her. She understood it first time so it's not that hard if she's really interested in it or what you're trying to tell her. If she's not interested, you shouldn't try to describe it to her because she'll be freaked out by the technical expressions even before making an attempt to understand the matter.
Yes, explaining about bitcoin to a really not interested persons/girls might lead to harm the relationship itself. First we need to check whether they are interested or not that too by heart. But, bringing up the interest must be our first step, still it is not that much easy and possible for everyone.
1325  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 22, 2016, 07:37:56 PM
I'm buying small amounts, but  I'm planning to buy more in  the future. I think it is one of the few  safe investments in the cryptocurrency space.
You had realized the right reason to buy bitcoins and you will get your benefits in future for sure.

I am also buying bitcoin with the intention of gaining more profits in future, but I'm not sure how long I will be able to hold it without spending it. Buying bitcoin is not that much important when compared to holding it for long period.
Yes, buying bitcoin is less significant for getting the maximum benefits from its price appreciation. Holding it for long haul must be the very much needed thing to get what we are aiming when buying bitcoins. People do forget it, and will sell of their bitcoins when they are seeing some $100 profit for their investment and get trapped from future price appreciation benefits.
1326  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: September 21, 2016, 12:35:12 PM
yeah bitcoin is the best way to pay to pornsites. Your identity will be unknown and untraceable.
Yes, its a good idea just one problem might come Cheesy. People might be too much excited to watch porn and cannot wait for the moment to get the transaction confirmed.

I know many sites myself which accept bitcoins and show porn videos but I always include more than maximum optimum transaction fees so that my excitement could be broken by late confirmations Grin
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 21, 2016, 07:51:40 AM
Why does everyone think that people hate bitcoins i dont understand why they hate it because you can do allot o fthings wwith the bitcoin and it is worth allot why hating on such a great thing.
Every one will have his own opinion. Unfortunately with the bitcoin system, even bitcoin has the potential to convince anyone some people who had missed to adopt bitcoin in earlier days, now going against bitcoin by hating it.

I feel it must be some psychological problems, as they are not ready to accept the real benefits of bitcoin ecosystem even after seeing them in real scenarios.
1328  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: September 21, 2016, 07:20:25 AM
invest. 21 bitcoin is an amount sufficient to make the investment. we can invest in bitcoin trading or mining, so the number of bitcoin is increasing and we can be rich
I think it would be very risky if you use all of your bitcoin mining sites to invest in or trade. may reduce the risk if you use half of it and split it into various investment bitcoin. you have the funds for this backup. most importantly do not use all your money and do not put it in one place
That is correct, we need to invest that in multiple investment to lessen the risks of our money while lessen the risks we can able to have big profit on that, but for me i choose to put it in trading and some of it i will exchange into fiat and deposited in the bank for more security.
Unfortunately no investment comes without risk. If you go for an investment then you must face its associated risks. Diversifying your investments must be one of the well proven approach of investment strategies, still with bitcoin I never suggest to invest to any others business, instead we must invest on our own business so that we could get maximum benefits out of our bitcoins.
1329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does sending Bitcoins feel good? on: September 21, 2016, 06:45:07 AM
Yep, I feel very good when I purchase brazzers accounts on darknet market. Cheap, and fast delivery. Cheaper than clearnet fees.
I guess, you feel good for the purpose of you are spending as well you are saving something from the discounts usually available for bitcoin payments. Sending bitcoin has nothing more from spending fiats, but some people are valuing bitcoin more than gold and they very rarely do spend them. For those people, spending bitcoin is not equal to spending fiats.
1330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: September 18, 2016, 08:42:23 PM
Everybody's greedy. It's our very nature. If given the opportunity to be in a room full of cash and you're taking away the money you can in a limited time, we will grab as much cash as we could. That's how greedy we are. We all want to have an easy life where we don't have to work or anything. That's why a lot of people put their trust in gambling.

The daily lottery is the proof of this. A lot of people are betting in the lotto every single day in hopes that in the next day, they'll be a millionaire. They want to have a shortcut to success.
Well, I think greed and foolishness have a difference, if kept in room of money and asked to grab as much as we can - if we don't grab to our potential, its foolishness while if not asked to grab anything and we yet grab something is actually greed, and how much we grab then is the amount of greed within us.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 18, 2016, 07:43:51 PM
hi guys, i bought 1BTC today and i am wondering to gamble or to invest the 1btc?

if to gamble

best site to gamble with a really nice provably fair..

and if to invest.

best investment program wherein no scam.

thank you for your opinions guys

cheers
i will never recommend you to gamble with your btc . i will suggest you start trading with btc you will get a better return . still if you are looking to invest then i will suggest to invest casino site . some casino sites return a better result of btc investment for their sites .
For me, investing and gambling are same so my decision will be based on whats my need is, suppose I want quick money then no other option other than gambling but if I want to earn money slowly and learn the market depth and ups and downs then I will always opt with investing.
1332  Other / Meta / Re: Question on Accounts position :) on: September 18, 2016, 07:20:09 PM
Please check meta section for this type for information.

Here is the right thread for your question.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0
I did read it before posting but I can't get it . Any Simpler one . Sorry , I won't start any new post in the future Smiley
No one will explain better than that thread. Still let me give a try.

How is an account position being calculated ?
As For newbie , member , full member and so on Smiley

This forum has activity period : 14 days, if you have at least one post within that period your account will gain '14 potential' activity.

For example, you register today and you make 15 posts in your first day : your rank will be newbie and your activity will grow till 14. Within that activity period you make another 10 posts, still your rank : newbie and your activity : 14 and post count 25.

Now next activity period arrives, on that day you make only one post : you will get activity 26 and your rank will remain same.

In 3rd activity you make another post, now you will get chances for your activity to grow up to 42. Here when you have 30 or more posts, you will get your new rank Jr. Member.

Similarly, when you will have chances to get activity for 60 and if you have 60 or more posts you will get your Member rank.

Hope this helps.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 18, 2016, 04:10:50 PM
I gamble for fun mostly, I play poker so there is a chance that if I become really good I could see some profit but right now I am not at that level.

Poker is wonderful way to have fun there, that is true it's very profitable for skilled players and if we play more in our spare time than we can increase our skill and chance to make guaranteed profit by playing poker.
Yes, there is good profit if the player is experienced and has some big bankroll to digest loss. I have seen guys even taking investment from others for playing poker and they actually make profit and share it with others. Do you think it is really worth to invest with such people ? I won't blame if if  its not profitable but just a advice will be good.
1334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: September 17, 2016, 02:37:52 PM
actually this time I was only 20 years old, but the end of the month I will be the age of 21, I think it is a good age to build a business without capital like bitcoin. I strongly believe so many people under the age of 20 years who also was eager to find bitcoin, but I also believe a lot over the age of 20 years who really like looking bitcoin
I think most of the community is between 16 to 25 years the reason I think so because usually at 16 years students start to take studies a bit easier and try to earn money. And once they turn 25 and start doing their jobs they do not have enough time to continue using bitcoins as much as before.
1335  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: September 14, 2016, 05:01:25 PM
It's affects people who working with bitcoins as main job, i am not from this people, so bitcoins is not doing huge impact on me and on my life.
Well, to me it’s a little bit different from yours, my job with bitcoin isn’t a main job but it really affects me a lot in many ways. Not only that I know more about this cryptocurrency and have more knowledge of what’s happening in this part of the Internet, but I also have some more income and it’s really useful for my daily needs and for my saving.
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: September 14, 2016, 04:51:49 PM
Bitcoin will not disappear because it's been existing for a decade already and many people believed that it is the currency of the future. Now it may lose its value like it would only be worth cents but it will never disappear. It's value also being reduced to nearly nothing is remotely possible as of now because its becoming popular and more people are using it which means an increase in demand and with it the increase of price as well.
Yes, you’re right why would bitcoin disappear when it’s making its way to higher level?

There is no doubt that bitcoin is getting more and more popular to the public for its bright side and its benefits not for bad news of it and bitcoin has drawn a lot of attention so the number of bitcoin users just keep rising each day.

Although there are still some minor problems and its price still fluctuates quite lot, bitcoin won’t die, at least for a few next decades.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: September 14, 2016, 04:15:38 PM
Hello Guys, I would like to know you're understanding about online gambling and real life gambling. Since here in the philippines online gambling is now illegal. I'm just curious what's the difference about this too. Why make online gambling illegal?
I like real gambling more because the vibe is different, I cannot sit behind my pc and gamble for some reason that is not fun to me.
Real gambling is much better in my opinion, it seems more trust able then these gambling sites.
You must be right, but this opportunity is not available for all the country gamblers. Imagining the real life casio house, but in front of computer is the only viable option right now I'm having. I like to have some 3-D glass compatible gambling sites for slot or blackjack or even for dicing too.
You are recommending gambling houses to introduce some other features that will addict gamblers more.  I do see some gambling sites are with the very vague design still they are having flood of visitors. If they are having some very eye pleasing graphics and an environment then definitely every bitcoiner will be  playing on their sites. I do not want any 3D effects for a gambling site.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: September 14, 2016, 01:46:28 PM
If no one spends bitcoin in long term, that will impact to the bitcoin flow. Its gonna be stagnant and also bitcoin will drop of popularity. But a realise that people still love use bitcoin bicause bitcoin technology is the modern one. And i am sure that online transaction is need in the future. So bitcoin is useful
The question of no one spends bitcoin is highly hypothetical. Practically, there will not be any reason for all the bitcoin holders to save bitcoin for the same period of time. Everyone spends bitcoins for his own purpose but in different time. So, we can not expect no one will spend bitcoin for a particular time duration. An impractical one.
Yes, even we are having the hope that bitcoin will reach an imaginable price levels, some people keep on sending it for their needs. Based on your profession or your wealth level, you will decide to save bitcoin or spend bitcoin, expecting all the people to do one thing (not to spend) is not practically right assumption.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: September 14, 2016, 01:37:07 PM
Yes I do imagine most of the time, how my life would have been so prosperous if I was not introduced to gambling. No one is to be blamed but only the opportunities that internet has brought to our life style. Gambling is so dangerous even for the matured people then it would be highly injurious to kids to their studies as well as for health.
I also would not have been into gambling if there is no Internet access in my city. Because we do not have any physical gambling houses in our city. But, I do gamble a lot online.

I started gambling for free money but out of failing to control my emotions I do bet with my hard earned money too. Same thing is applicable to all kids, because they do not know how to secure their savings if they got introduced into gambling.
1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: September 13, 2016, 08:20:35 PM
no one would definitely choose unfamous   exchanger   if they are actually dumb to  put their money on those sites. As of now i think poloniex,btc-e,c-cex,yobit, bittrex is quite  famous on exchange sites as of now but  theres also a risk  on all of those exchange sites thats why i didnt put all my money their if i got profits i usually  withdraw it directly.
And you know friend, the big exchanges are the ones who scam on most of the occasions because they have accumulated enormous amounts. So yes I am not saying that keep your funds in a new exchange but keeping them in a old and trusted site does not mean that you will never face a scam at all.
