1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 10, 2016, 11:26:12 AM
I use bitcoins because it's easier to do transactions in bitcoins. Paypal is also handy but their policies aren't that good. There are reports of getting their accounts frozen and I don't want to wait for 180 days before I can my control of my money back.

There's also a lot of opportunities in bitcoin. You can do gambling, offer services, sell stuffs, etc. Almost everything that you're looking for online in order to earn money can easily be found when you're in a bitcoin community.
When we are comparing using bitcoin and using paypal, definitely we can say we got a new freedom for the money we going to deal.
The investment option with bitcoin is a complete new thing, we can not get that from any other payment system.

I believe freedom and opportunity to grow our net-worth, these are more than enough to choose bitcoin systems.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: November 10, 2016, 10:58:16 AM
well if some sellers do request you to do that strange thing i call it as usual thing they need to do to make sure they're not going to be scammed by the buyers, nowaday there's so many credit card data stolen and some carders trying to take advantage of some bitcoin seller to get bitcoin by using their stolen credit card data,it's a challange indeed but if you do have the card then why don't just do that only if you don't mind
Even with bank money transfer somehow they have manage to card funds and hence they are reversible, not just reversible but getting such amounts also mean that your bank account will get frozen without any statement from bank (at least in India) so even if I was the seller I might have asked such proofs.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: November 10, 2016, 10:51:33 AM
I can control myself when I am playing gambling. I will play only sports betting, In sports betting, I can handle my money management, and I control my feelings if I lose my bet I will not follow that again. But in slot games sometimes I will lose control.
it is one of the most difficult job to control our self from gambling, but still i have make a strategy, when ever i went to a casino for gambling i only bring such amount of money that i can bare to lose, and when i reach to that limit i automatically stop gambling as i become out of pocket then.
I also plan such things when gambling but the problem occurs when I have won a significant amount then due to greed I loose it all. And once I loose it, I try to deposit some more which I never intended to and hence loose that also.
The biggest problem with gambling is control, I agree completely !
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: November 10, 2016, 09:25:43 AM
I don't same any difference between gambling and betting as both are same things. Actually gambling word is more famous and now it is being taken in context of casino related games but in fact sports betting and everything where any profit or loss factor is that is gambling. You may give it any name but its nature will not change at all.

yes, there is no difference between gambling and betting. I don't why most people said that gambling and betting is a different things.
There is no gamble if you not place a bet. Gambling is a game when you place a bet.
Even betting is part of gambling, usually betting denotes sport betting which is believed to be capable of having aspects to be controlled through skill and knowledge. Maybe luck based activities are gambling and the rest are classified as betting. A blind shot maybe a gambling whereas a sure shot must be a betting.
Yeah same is my thought added to which I think betting means to bet while gambling means to gamble.....so what I am trying to say is that we bet on anything while gambling is done on only selected games like online casino games.
Sports betting is the best form of betting or gambling.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: November 10, 2016, 08:36:01 AM
You do not loose your money when you are addicted in walking, in gambling it's different as even when you do not need to spend gambling for longer hours but you bet big enough that you cannot afford to lose, that is already considered as an addiction and most likely you will suffer from big loses.
Exactly, addictions are of good things also like earning money addiction but addiction of gambling can make you sick and loose all your money in no time The biggest problem with gambling is not loosing but actually winning, because when you win you get optimistic and thats even horrible than loosing because when lost you at least fee bad.
1186  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 09, 2016, 07:55:28 PM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.
Probably if i am in some emergency and i need money that bad and im desperate now in needing money i will apply for some good laons that they offer me good money and small interest of and i will pay that once i get ok and get out in the hospital and i will work hard again to pay that money.
I think it really depends on how much money we are talking about if I really needed money I will probably go to the pawn shop or sell whatever I was going to leave at the pawn shop.
I think it's best when you need money is to sell any valuable items that you've got it will lighten your burden, do not choose to borrow before you use this method

Only at desperate need of money user can sell valuable things that they have, if the emergency need is very minimal amount then borrowing seems to be the best of all time. Other possibilities were to do lending to trusted users to get a stable earning.
You have no choice, you have to choose which is valuable to you, if you have to choose between a life a a thing you need to sacrifice the thing even how valuable it is, life will not be back to normal while you can buy things if you have the money.
You are right. We sometimes need money very desperately for example I remember last month I was out of city and hence no access to my btc wallet and someone asked me his payment ( I forgot when I was at home) now I took a loan personally and paid him, so yeah if I had to sell something I would have.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On US Elections... on: November 09, 2016, 07:12:45 PM
Betting on Trump was a big win , Huge profits , not everyone saw it coming
Me too.. I am shock to what is happening now in the election.. I never knew that Trump will lead the way.. I didn't forseen it.. well maybe US people would like to try something different.

Yes US people really needed a change
You really think a country's population will make someone win just because they demanded change and wanted to see some new person whom they don't actually believe ? I think no its not because of the fact that they wanted to see change rather he won because sometimes they have some plans which are executed just before final day.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do people post referral links? on: November 09, 2016, 06:59:18 PM
I think most people that I've seen that has a lot of referral are those people who own a site, blog, group in Facebook, twitter ,etc. And most of them have good reputation on what they do in such a way that they make sure that their links or sites that they are referring isn't a scam or a ponzi. But there are some people who has a lot of referral due to cheating like doing some self referral from which they change their IP using VPN per account.
Another good way of getting some referrals that actually bet is by making Youtube videos and explaining them some nice strategies like how to win with the site you are advertising them. Just if you blindly ask them to join with your ref link they would never, tell them a good startegy and mention that my refs will often get good advice for free.
1189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: November 08, 2016, 07:13:34 PM
It's not that profitable if you just hold your bitcoin. Just holding it for a long time won't give you big profit. It's better to invest them to earn more so while you earn your bitcoin grows and as time passes your bitcoin's value also grows.
but to me only holding bitcoin and not investing it any where can also give you a good profit, as you can see that the price of bitcoin is increasing on regular bases there if you have bought some bitcoin in a low price can give you a good profit after some time. but you need to hod them and not to invest them any where else.
Yes it should be like buy some bitcoins and then forget about it. if you keep thinking that I have some bitcoins then you will surely get tempted to something advertised in altcoins section or gambling section. Maybe lock your bitcoins completely and unable to use them till 1 year.
1190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: November 08, 2016, 06:56:21 PM
I do have a person that exchanges my bitcoins always when i contact him, i had bought with him 1,1btc at the rate of 250 dollars, then i had sold to him 1.20btc at the rate of 300 dollars, but the thing is you must search always a trusted member here or at localbitcoins to handle those transactions.
Actually for each country there are a few sites that gives you money in the bank for your bitcoins, you just need to find the best one. If anyone has issue converting them please list your country and amount you look to convert and I personally will try to help you guys.
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 08, 2016, 06:35:04 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

Well I think teens or children doesn't really need to know that much about bitcoin, you can just tell them that bitcoin is a Cryptocurrency and that's it! if they would question you if what is cryptocurrency then I think explain to them how real money works and I think that would be your base for cryptocurrency, and when they turn older enough they I think that would be the time they can fully understand about it!

I would say we should even not tell them if something like bitcoin exists, because it is not really easy to understand the technology of bitcoin and it will just make them confused, better let them grow older and then they would themselves come to know about it or you should tell them about it later on.
It is rather better to introduce bitcoins like a asset or say gold. We tell them and show them the charts where the price of bitcoins be seen, so they will know the worth of bitcoins and see from where it has grown.
While we actually also need teenagers in this community because they are the energetic ones who keep it alive.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: November 08, 2016, 09:45:45 AM
How can anyone even discuss to allow children to play gambling games. Gambling, even for many adults is too dangerous .. It is just absurd!

Well there are a lot of bitcoin users here who are addicted gamblers and hence the thread exists. Even some of them are under18 and they can still gamble because their identity is anonymous in the internet and that their parents are not supervising their internet activity.
True but that been said I think children under 18 years are more prone to social activities and sites like facebook, twitter etc and I have never seen a kid or student who gambles. Maybe I come across many online but since they hide age so I don't know. But in real life I never saw a student gambling ONLINE.
1193  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 07, 2016, 10:05:10 AM
Price of bitcoin for me really matters. If the price is high, then I sell and hold the fiat until price dump. When the price is low, I will buy and hold bitcoin until it's price rise with good profit. It is also obvious that the price of bitcoin matters to all of us even the bitcoin devoters since it's price is what determine the activities we might all do and not do in this day or another.
Yeah, price traders will always be affected by the change in bitcoin's price and its stability, they would always want a fluctuated and flexible market. For me too, bitcoins price matters because how would I know how much is 1 bitcoin worth to buy if there is no set price of it. I believe, almost every bitcoiner will be doing similar to me.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do winning and losing gamblers have different personalities or habits? on: November 07, 2016, 08:46:01 AM
Basically outcomes is dependent on our luck. But I'm quite sure both are same there is no difference in personalities of them. Some people are very dare to take risk with big amount and that is why they making big profit. Because bet amount is depend on our bankroll and how sure we are before stake any amount on it.
really had to predict which ways will it goes but if you have a big heart and trust with your bet you can win big, no difference it is just same gambled that oping for some luck.
No, because you see some people want to win money quickly while some are happy to wait if they know the wait will be converted to money. What I mean to say if some people might profit by doing safe way of betting like arbitrage or such but gamblers who want quick money would always play luck based games.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: November 07, 2016, 08:04:41 AM
First, the term itself is the difference. One is Online where you need to register in a certain site to go around it. Real Gambling is like going to a Casino place that will introduce you to different gambling games. In there, you will meet a lot of gamers and gamblers. You will experience how it feels to lose when you see others are winning. You get to know people around you, while Online Gambling is limited to you, your computer and few gamers.
Yeah, the online gambling enables the profit factor only while betting in a real casino enables the fun and social factor too. But, that been said I heard the slots games in offline casinos are rigged and you will never win with them, while online we have the right to raise voice if anything is such.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the easiest sport to win bets at? on: November 07, 2016, 07:13:05 AM
Actually sport betting and the other games of gambling, both have litter bit different, and secondly people like sport betting more than other gambling. The reason is that it is easy and everyone can do betting in sport gambling.
Not that its easy but we all love some sports and hence we always believe or trust some teams and hence betting on them makes us feel much better than just playing on dice. I think to win money actually, playing on tennis upsets is one of the best way. I mean betting on the least favorite in tennis.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: November 07, 2016, 05:35:22 AM
@OP this is like asking do bitch (female dog) bark?  Of course girls do gamble.  They are human and not different from men.  They have the same senses like men and also want entertainment and at the same time chance of winning on that entertainment.  In fact in my area, they are the one (girls) I often saw playing a poker.
It's a different thing dude, gambling is not a natural thing that every person should do and we can live without gambling and you cannot compare that to barking as all dogs bark regardless of the gender but not all human gamble.

I hope you know the difference and that would give you a clearer picture.
Yes, he surprised me too. Barking or talking is something without which we cannot live so we all do, while gambling is a hobby and we all have our hobbies depending on the nature and way of living life.
I have a sister whom I can not even tell that I gamble, and if I come to know she gambles well I might die of heart attack lol
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe that win in gambling is depending on your luck ? on: November 05, 2016, 09:52:54 AM
Luck is really important in gambling for that I am quite sure about this because without luck we can't make profit there even with skill based games too, so it not possible to make money without it.
Not just luck is needed to win with gambling but also with investment made in gambling sites, because suppose you invested some big amount in the site's bankroll to gain regular profits but the site scammed .. so luck is needed in every aspect related to gambling and in fact our life too.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the difference between game and gamble? on: November 05, 2016, 07:57:14 AM
I have a simple idea about that question and that is when we play a game only for entertainment and we do not bet for money and do not play for winning money then it is just a game and when betting money comes in these games then we call these games as gambling.
Yes, gaming brings fun and entertainment while gambling brings addiction and stress.
You would never be stressed too much playing GTA San Andreas right ? but you will always be stressed when you are playing dice on a site because you know, luck and mistakes will not cost your time, but money.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much amount of bet you prefer? on: November 05, 2016, 07:25:12 AM
how much amount of bet you prefer?
Though my bet size differs from time to time but usually when I play dice my bet size is around 0.001 and I do manual bets more than automatic bets, because in autobet the amount can get upto 0.1 in no time. While with manual betting it is much easier to control and stop if I prefer to.
