1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: December 28, 2016, 08:00:29 PM
You've got to stop gambling as soon as possible. It's better if you stop before you married and have children. Gambling is in fact not a good thing to be done continuously. Especially if you do it in front of your son. Do not let you're hoping that your son is also a gambler. Stop when you're feeling that your money thinning because you're gambling.
Well, the question asked here was like when you stop while gambling, like some people set a target and once its reached they stop while some people have a time frame like for one hour they will gamble and then stop. So while gambling whats your milestone or strategy that makes you stop gambling ?

Though what you said I agree with it, gambling should be stopped as soon as anyone can.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: December 28, 2016, 07:42:11 PM
If Amazon and any other multi national is not happy to accept my coins I will buy goods from another one that is friendly with that. But  let speak seriously; do you believe that Amazon will not accept btcs when microsoft, dell and some others have already accepted? When amazon see its sales dive in not only bitcoin but some other altcoins will accept as a means of payment.
The problem is that the big companies are yet not trusting bitcoins maybe because its impossible to track who bought what if they implement bitcoins payments, while the government of any country would ban that site from which they can not take taxes and hence most of the sites are not yet accepting bitcoins.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: December 28, 2016, 07:36:08 PM
Hey, but we'll, this ain't a secret. It's a fairly easy fact. Join some decent high paying signature campaign and start trading after you get nearby to 1 Bitcoins. Then you might start day trading or maybe hold your Bitcoins for some days and then sell them, to get a fair amount of profit. This is the legit way to earn maybe 0.1 Bitcoin per week, and I guess you should have noticed, that surprisingly, there are no secrets involved! Lol. You could also try posting on the services section to get hired for any freelance jobs, like blog/ article writing, programming, designing, etc, and earn that extra amount that will help you to make it to 0.1 Bitcoin per week.
Signature campaigns don’t pay that really well for a low rank account so if you really want, you will have to do a lot of work on ranking up your account which takes a lot and then probably you could get a signature campaign, but we all could agree that the best way to earn 0.1 btc per week is trading and it is not free you are going have to  invest some money at least 5$.
1064  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: December 28, 2016, 06:59:33 PM
ofcourse we're all waiting till that happen because we can easily a tons of bitcoin if that happen. but i think it's impossible right now maybe up to $500 it will be more reality than $100 . let's wait till bitcoin reach $1000 barier so it will drop back down till $500. trust me bitcoin always depending on its investors with investors cashout their bitcoin on their wallet they will lose tons of users so they will drop down the price.
I really don’t think that the bitcoin price will go down to 100$ or even 500$, the advance of the bitcoin is something that cannot be retracted we can never go back we always go forward even though we all want the price to go down so we can buy we can’t  go back, you think you do but you don’t.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: December 28, 2016, 06:53:21 PM
Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? If you use web wallets, please do mention which one is your choice and why ?

I personally only use the online wallet of blockchains and I often open it in the browser. But I also use some of the exchangers reliable wallet, because I often use bitcoin for trading. But just a suggestion, dont store big amount  in the exchanger wallet. Thank you
I think that most of the users of bitcoin use online wallets like Blockchain and Coinbase because they are the most popular out there and for many who are new to bitcoin when they try to search the internet and know about bitcoin online wallets are the first thing they get introduced to, but for the more experienced with bitcoin and the ones that mine it use their own offline wallets.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: December 28, 2016, 06:07:04 PM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?
For people who have been loyal to bitcoin over the years are the ones that own more btc than the new ones , you see bitcoin has become very popular and its price got very high , and for people who have the money to buy they can but for others trying to get 1 btc either takes a lot of work and time or they can’t.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: December 28, 2016, 05:50:12 PM
i think bitcoin is already an international currency because i see that nowadays bitcoin is acceptable in everywhere and bitcoin transaction is very faster than other currency and we can say that bitcoin is already international currency.
I agree with you could see bitcoin users already spread all over the world, almost every country may have bitcoin users, it means bitcoin can be used in all countries, and it proves that bitcoin is an international currency

Bitcoin is used as international currency but government does not consider it as currency yet.  Quite a contradicting situation but it is obvious that people use it that way, and i bet even government officials use it that way.  Funny, how obvious the government hypocrisy is shown here LOL.
Yeah, it will be no surprise to find out that most of the government officials use bitcoin as an investment, and the reason that they don’t want it as an international currency is because if it is used as one it will lose its value and we don’t want that, it will be better off not being used by everyone so its price stays up.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2016, 05:23:34 PM
Most users believe that China has got the control for which we think entire currency backing is behind Blockchain technology developers and the holding technology. With bitcoin china has got lot users who haven't speed a single penny.
We can’t defiantly say that china is controlling the bitcoin even if it has a good share of hashing power, the bitcoin is not just circulating in china but Chinese miners selling their bitcoin all over the world so that way bitcoin keeps its nature which is a free decentralized currency that cannot be controlled by anyone.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: December 28, 2016, 10:07:56 AM
Gambling is addictive because gambling players have different reasons why they are addicted on it. Some are always gaining profit on it thats why they are keep playing gambling games for more even profit. Some are always loosing they are chasing their lost fund on playing gambling. Some are just attracted on playing gambling they just enjoy playing it.
gambling addiction is not terrible, but the effect was very terrible for us all, the impact could be to the gambler even to the people around him.

People around them do not really get affected in any way, unless they are also convinced to join gambling. The worst part of the addiction is that you're losing most of the time more than you wanted to, and this happens to like everybody having this addiction. It's hard to get rid of it.
yeah actually people will always crossed the limit once they are gambling, hard to control over it. as the thrill in gambling makes you have no time to think twice, just do it no matter what as long as you feel happy and satisfied , gambling always be like that. addiction come from that excitement.
Yes true if we too enjoy gambling will feel happy so it does not have control and become addicted. I when gamble sometimes still do it. Because it is very difficult to really be able to control themselves. But a gambler must have self-control and good financial management, so as not to become addicted to gambling. It will make can avoid big losses.
Addiction does not come from the excitement rather the addiction comes from the winning desire, controlling gambling or quitting it can be one of the most dangerous and difficult attempts. I am saying dangerous because I know someone who tried to leave gambling but now he is addicted to smoking and many other bad hobbies.

I suggest any gambler to never try and leave gambling unless you have some people around you, because leaving one addiction can lead to another addiction in no time.
1070  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: December 27, 2016, 09:13:42 PM
One thing that makes me still in doubt with the future of the bitcoin is rejection of almost all countries. If all countries agree to ban bitcoin, of course the future of the bitcoin is finish. Best step is don't save bitcoin too much and too long time.
nope i think not all countries prohibit and reject bitcoin. some are even legalize bitcoin and use bitcoin liberate their societies? I'm sure all the government will make regulations on bitcoin, hopefully it does not harm the user bitcoin

The thing that is threatening bitcoin today is not the government as of now, maybe in the future. But today big companies are moving away from bitcoin and I believe its bad news. The CEO of circle has announced that they will leave bitcoin like the other big companies who left bitcoin behind. I just hope that this will have no detrimental effect on the price of bitcoin.
I think the number of big companies that are accepting bitcoin is more that those who are leaving bitcon away, I think bitcoin need some more time to become more mature and one of the most popolar currency of the world and hope that then the world popular companies will take interest in bitcoin.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: December 27, 2016, 05:00:01 PM
gambling is difficult to people who has got addicted to it. to stop gambling.....hmm.... will take a lot of time to stop it, but the best way to stop it is don't start it at all.

someone if become addicted is really hard to get stop from gambling, the only thing that person can do is asked for other person help and tell the truth about addicting in gambling so other person can help him. for best way to quit gambling is from ourself that have passion to stop and want to leave gambling for forever.
no doubt about this that stopping gambling especially if you are addicted to gambling is not such an easy job. as i have seen so many people who tried their best for so many time to stop gambling but then did not succeeded. therefore you should try first you reduce playing gambling and step by step try to stop playing gambling.
Yes it is easy said than done. I have been addicted to gambling for last few months and I know I am addicted and loosing money really uselessly, I just deposit money play some bets and loose it.

I mean when I gamble I forget all these things that its wrong and will give loss only , seriously I too need some help from you guys. Don't ask me to block internet or such silly ideas since I have a job online man.
Yes it is very difficult to quit gambling at all  just like smoking or drinking, but I will suggest you to select a limit for your gambling  and try not to exceed that limit, and the more best option is to carry such amount with you to the casino that you  have spare for gambling, through this you will not lost a big amount, I myself playing gambling with my pocket money.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling trading or giveaway? on: December 27, 2016, 04:07:18 PM
I do not like giveaway, in some ways, giveaways make the forum become a mess because there are many people who just registered account for claiming giveaway. I feel that it is very shameful to create multiple account just for cheating the giveaway system. Using own money to gamble with make you become real gentleman and right now I avoid involving in any type of giveaways. I'd like to choose both gambling and trading
Same here,i really dont mind about those giveaways and i dont really like to go on those section and you are right there are people who would really like to cheat giveaways and creating multiple account. This thing is normally happening on this forum and we cant do anything about it.In gambling i do play for sometime but not risking too much money on it just for my leisure times.

i think i will choose for giveaways, because like Blitzboy and stomachgrowls said, its really crowded when we see that there is many people which want to get that giveaways meanwhile the prizes is not for all members and beside that people will come into the thread and ask for the giveaways.
Chances on those giveaways are slim and still not sure if you are the  winner on that giveaway.Just as expected when you are going into giveaway threads there are lots of people who go there just to get bounties and other stuff.Trading is the best way among the selection and I don't like to claim giveaways.
You don't like to claim giveaways is a different matter but surely claiming some free bonuses is better than gambling your own money, yeah you cannot rely on earnings from just giveaways but who wants to make trading or gambling also a full time job ? It is just for fun and hence best is giveaways since we do not risk anything at all.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I bet you have never lost more than this !!! on: December 27, 2016, 02:20:38 PM
It's really crazy that's true. But who knows... You guys remember the first BTC transaction? Pizza for 10 000 BTC. Must have been really delicious pizza! Cheesy
That was a mistake it was bought at a normal price and the price of bitcoins then hiked so we cannot blame or call the buyer a foolish at all.

Here he knew the value of bitcoins and then he betted so he was in full senses that he is betting more than some 10 thousand dollars on a single event. Anyways maybe he is some big fish who sold the pizza worth 10,000 BTC Tongue in his early days Cheesy
1074  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: December 22, 2016, 06:10:59 PM
No, we can't manipulate bitcoin price. No one controls it even governments, organizations or other institutions cannot. We have experienced before a massive fall of price because big exchange sites has been knocked off. It is not also possible to perform us here in the forum to manipulate the price.
In fact we can manipulate the price , it is true that the government does not have control over it , but the community that has it can , if we decide not exchange the bitcoin the demand will get high and so is the price and if we all sell the price will go down, that is why the bitcoin community is divided between spenders and holders.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade house for 1 bitcoin on: December 22, 2016, 05:24:26 PM
There is actually someone who sold their house for an amount of bitcoin and I am pretty sure if you search on the internet you will find people selling not only house but castles for bitcoin but the amount that they are asking for is ridicules, I don’t think it is possible even if you have the amount of money in fiat to exchange it into bitcoin.
1076  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: December 22, 2016, 05:17:05 PM
In my opinion, Best way for steady income is to work and earn income every month or
you can invest it in some of the projects like website projects around or can buy it's shares or even opening your own faucet can also be a good idea.

A proper job is the best way to earn every month in a steady rate. Investments like trading and mining rigs can be profitable in some people. Altcoin trading is profitable since the market is extremely volatile there.

Opening a faucet is not profitable - most of them get scum traffic and bots which steal the balances and the sites go down. Moreover many faucets are running ponzi schemes and are out to steal people's money so I dont really support that idea.
No doubt that faucets are getting scammed and they are only used by bots nowadays ,but in the early days they were the only way to get some bitcoin but as the bitcoin grown in price they become really worthless ,today the best way to get steady income is to work at freelancer by providing your services for bitcoin.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 22, 2016, 03:46:32 PM
I'm sure people still believe in fiat, because we still use fiat for buying something in real life using fiat. Without fiat we can't buy shit. That's why people still believe in fiat, even the digital money come like bitcoin and paypal. Fiat will still survive.

That's a sure thing because if we are not going to believe fiat then what do you think is the medium that we need to use in able to survive for our daily lives for buying and selling the things that we need? Unless you are living in a jungle and you don't need fiat for surviving there then your faith in fiat will surely be gone.
We can never stop using fiat because it has been and will forever will be the payment method that everyone uses on the plant to exchange money in person, even if our society is relaying on internet and digital payment more and more, there will be the need for human interaction and that’s where the fiat comes in.
1078  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: December 22, 2016, 03:13:18 PM
Wow Look at the charts, this is getting interesting. I wonder what will happen if segwit is activated, but the percentage of blocks signaling support is still low, this seems uncertain to me. Good to see a positive traction, anyway.
I think that if bitcoin keeps growing like this and people start using it more we will see governments banning it and replacing it with another currency, because they can't control bitcoin it is not centralized and china has the large share of it which means if bitcoin takes over china takes over and that does not work for many people.
1079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: December 21, 2016, 08:46:46 PM
Of course losing money is all part of the game, but it helps to mitigate those losses as much as possible, especially if you enjoy trading, and want to continue trading well into the future.

losing money alone is not a problem at all, what you do after losing money is the important part.
some people get depressed and leave, some call it gambling but some instead of all that start thinking about their mistakes and how they can fix those mistakes and that is what matters most.
When a trader is capable of correcting and not repeating his mistakes then there would be no need of getting fear of losing his capital in trading.

I do see it is similar to an emotion failure but due to lack of knowledge also it may happen. Rectifying mistakes also needs skill and experience, so becoming a perfect trader needs lot of dedication to learn many things.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 21, 2016, 07:14:05 PM
I personally don't feel ashamed from being a gambler. However in my neighborhood people think you are some kind of retard, alcoholic addict and all the worse if they know you are a gambler. For this reason I don't game in public, only online through FIAT sportsbook (very little amounts) and through bitcoin, my main betting activity. Bitcoin helps a lot in this regard.
As long as we are sticking with online gambling, then there would be no need to get ashamed for being a gambler even we are facing continuous losses with it. Whenever we are gambling only through online there would be less chances for our neighborhood to know ourselves as a gambler.
