1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: October 06, 2016, 08:49:45 PM
The will to get back what is lost. I know it is a wrong idea but it just cant be stopped. There is this pride that I dont want to be a loser even if there is no one watching me. I just want a win always to satisfy myaelf.
It is possible to happen only when you are gambling for making profits.

When you are into gambling just for fun you will never need to chase your losses. You may consider the loss as from fees to have some entertainment like what we are playing to watch movies.

But people never understand these and they are not satisfied with what they are getting from gambling and they like to have some reasons to come back to gambling always.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: October 06, 2016, 08:39:40 PM
If you manage to win with gambling then it can fix your life but we know that most of the time it is going to wreck you because the chance of losing is bigger.
The odds are against you and that is always going to be that way because the casino needs to make money to.

Well i think even if you win, gambling is not going to be a fix to anything. It actually shouldn't have that major effect in your life.
That is true because no gambler is ready to make use of what he is getting from gambling. They are always want to reinvest those profits so that they could fasten their process of becoming a billionaire in quick time.
Getting our life fixed through bitcoin is only possible by having some entertainment with it. No other ways are really existing.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: October 06, 2016, 08:31:05 PM
Many people have a gambling problem and I think that it is not good to be having a gambling problem, especially when you have a family to take off.
Gambling can become a problem and it can wreck your life and make it so that you have nothing left.

And most of those problems are going to be financial problem and as they gamble the capital they are using is for something important to their family use. Because most of the gamblers when get excited to gamble as long as they have the money on their hands they are going to forget the needs of their family and they don't care if they are going to risk it.
Yes, due to the involvement of money in gambling, the gambling problems are always leading to financial problem.

I believe there will not be any that much very big problem if you are having financial freedom. All the problems are coming from when we do not have enough money. Gambling is easily making a gambler poor. So, all the problems are coming in quick time itself.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: October 06, 2016, 08:22:15 PM
Yes, trading can be considered gambling as both need luck because markets may go against us and during that situation, we cannot do anything. The only advantage we get here is we are able to cut the losses by getting out earlier, while in gambling, once it goes, it never comes back.

The thing with trading ia even if you are in a way, gambling here, its a calculated gamble. Also experience plays a big part with trading compared to when you're playing mostly with luck.
Yes, I like to agree with the you that trading must be a way of calculated gambling. Still, trading highly differs from gambling as it has possibilities to use our calculations whereas in gambling there will not be any chances to use our analysis or calculations. Gambling is simply a luck based one.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: October 06, 2016, 08:15:21 PM
Betting on sport = gambling?
Please write your mind.

Well I voted for "yes", although I agree profession sports betting is not a myth. Although it's not a myth it's still gambling. You can call it professional gambling if you want, and I think it's possible both in sports betting, and in poker as well. I can't see it in any other place. Trading of course is the same, and you can even talk about sports trading (I tried it for a while). But even sports trading is still sports betting and gambling, but if done correctly it can be done in a professional level.
There are a lot of supporting points that must be leading us into considering sports betting as equavelent as gambling. A lot of unexpected events are happening around sports events, one of the must be match fixing. In that case, whatever analysis or predictions we are following, we could not make profits from sports betting, it is just simply turning similar to gambling.
1286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell my stocks buy bitcoin... on: October 06, 2016, 07:52:42 PM
This is good move for people who know market, they are trading with different goods and assets and from that they predict future. This is for me to hard to understand, I follow news but I don`t think I`m well informed.
Traders are making huge profits if they predict movement of the market good, I don`t know how can we find some good trader and maybe invest in that trader to make profit for us. Is there such traders here on forum, I didn`t saw one, only tipsters for sports betting.
I am also feeling that must be right move to sell all stocks in order to buy more bitcoins. Because, I could not find any stock that may return more than what bitcoin has brought in past months. The return rate of bitcoin is really marvellous comparing to any stocks in my country. Unfortunately I do not have any savings other than bitcoins so I am already all into bitcoins.
1287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will price be at around $700 by end of october on: October 06, 2016, 07:37:34 PM
Currently price is trying to break $600 but still lots of selling force is trying to push the price down under $600. What you guys think can this October bring another good pump pushing price well above $700 ?
I just came across a highly tempting news, that the first testing of transactions in lightning netwrk was performed successfully. This might bring all the conflicts of block size to an end. So, we could believe this October may bring many surprises to us.
Yes, that must be very amazing news to have, and based on this news' weightage we could speculate that market may go beyond $1000 price levels also as this news will solve very big debate of bitcoin ecosystem : block size problem. Moreover, many other interesting projects keep on coming so this October would be the beginning of those miracles.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: October 06, 2016, 06:56:11 PM
The fear is they are decentralized and at any time they could get banned by government. And the number of scammer and fraud trader are in majority in cryptocurrency and for trading we should first find a legit and honest trader with whom we can deal with cryptocurrency. I have already bought 0.1 and if those get banned then I will get banned from my business.
The decentralised nature of Bitcoin makes it extremely difficult for Bitcoin to be banned. There are over thousands of Bitcoin nodes over the world and the government would have a hard time limiting the use of Bitcoin by banning Bitcoin nodes and websites related to Bitcoin. Even if they do aggressively ban it, users can find another way to use it and it would push it even more underground. The government can however, restrict the number of Bitcoin startups and merchants accepting them. This can at most slow the adoption of Bitcoin.
Yes, bitcoin or any other crypto currencies could not be stopped being used by imposing any ban. That must be one of the power of decentralization, so the dangers of getting banned is somewhat meaningless with respect to any decentralization system. Government restrictions will not disturb impact the existence of bitcoin system but may affect its growth rate.
Yes, I am also seeing people are from some bitcoin banned countries are still saving bitcoin and getting the benefits of using bitcoin as investment.

Maybe they are having some restrictions to spend/use bitcoin in that country but not for saving bitcoins.
Future might change, so they will have bitcoin restrictions lifted out so that they will be freely using for their daily life needs. So, the dangers of getting banned not permanent.
No one could stop bitcoin as long as this world survives or at least our internet system survives. So, the danger of using bitcoin under a country's restrictions will not impact a bitcoiner that much. Country restrictions are already existing, still people are being active in bitcoin related sites using proxies.
1289  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you doing with Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2016, 06:50:57 PM
We need to accept the risk levels in order to gain better. Without risk there will not be any fruitful actions in our life.

In my opinion, letting bitcoin sleeping is not that much good idea, as there are many reputed earning opportunity like investing into gambling bankroll as a profit sharing partners are most commonly available to every common man.
Why not just trying with them as it is to be considered when there is no risk for our capital ?
Never say there is no risk. There are always some hidden risk as no business will be guaranteed to run long term especially even for tomorrow. A well known and highly reputed business also may go bankrupted when a technical people or employee goes wrong. Once bitcoin goes out of our hands, anything might happen with that.
You are right. Today's good busines, may not be tomorrow's. But, at the same time not taking the risk might risk your entire life. So, risking some small amount is not always that much bad idea. Experts do call this 'calculated risk'. We can invest some 5% to 10% of total bitcoin saving into some reputed business.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: October 05, 2016, 08:41:39 PM
I will not tell I am not a greedy person. But in gambling, i have control on my games. I know which game I have to play and when to stop my play. This is enough to save my money. Sometimes while playing slot games without knowing me slowly, i will play like a greedy person. But when I feel that I am losing money that time immediately I will stop my game.
Knowing about the right time to stop must be one of the essential skills to prevent being greedy. Emotion control is not possible for all the gamblers, but once we get practice stop at right time we will be able to develop more emotion control. Not being greedy must be one of the greatest qualification for becoming a good gambler.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: October 05, 2016, 08:36:38 PM
Losing is not fun, but winning is always fun, and even if not wining or losing, just going up and down for some time, its fun because of all excitement and thrill to hit something high  Grin
Yes, it will be always fun on watching our money getting growing in front of our eyes. Usually gambling is giving us a fake hopes of getting our money multiplied. We love gambling as we are believing it will give more profits in short period, due to the involvement of money gambling seems fun in my opinion.
1292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: October 05, 2016, 07:37:18 PM
Saving bitcoin would be possible when bitcoin having comparatively lower price levels and mining is possible. In future mining will become so hard so bitcoin prices will be very high. At the time you can not save bitcoin for yourself then how we could save for our next generations?
There will not be any meaning on saving bitcoin when bitcoin gets stable value always. Once bitcoin gets more stable value people will start using bitcoin as currency, hopefully. When more people are using bitcoin as currency, bitcoin will not fetch huge returns like what it is doing right now.
Need not to worry. Bitcoin will not get stable value within next hundred years too. Because, when bitcoin mining reward goes decreased, the demand for bitcoins will keep on rising so bitcoin prices will go volatile and higher always. So, saving bitcoin definitely will be profitable for your grandson. Do not miss this opportunity, save for them.
1293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: October 04, 2016, 07:58:08 PM
I do not try to get rid of my bitcoin because I think it is a great currency and will continue to grow in the near future.  When you make posts like this OP, you are giving people a reason to get out of bitcoin which will do nothing buy hurt bitcoin.  Get people to use bitcoin, not leave it.
The OP is not completely wrong as we need to spend coins and not only store them. If we keep holding the coins, there is no assurance with regards to the benefits and profit but it's still each person's wish to hold the coins or circulate them but storing coins does hurt the currency.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: October 04, 2016, 07:50:39 PM
When both men and women go for gambling, the society might get suffer severely. Then there will not be anyone to take care of family or to take care your of each other. Gambling will become more dangerous, when it attracts more girls.
You must be right. When a man alone getting addicted to gambling, entire family feel the pain of wasting money. When there will be two persons going for gambling from same family, then it might result in complete ruining that family's welfare. In my opinion girls do not gamble because it will have more impact than what if men go for.
1295  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: October 04, 2016, 04:36:39 PM
customers using bitcoin for their benefit because using bitcoin. you also know that bitcoin payment system is one that is very easy to use transactions, a very simple and fast
That would benefit the customers but on the legal aspects the merchants will have a problem as they are putting their business in risk, we have to remember that bitcoin is not yet regulated and government wanted to account for all the transaction to collect tax.
Now a days, merchants are having immediate exchanger to have their bitcoin to be converted into fiats immediately. Moreover many merchants are getting their bitcoin sales settlement only in equivalent fiats. This way merchants are highly protected from fluctuating bitcoin prices and from other bitcoin related regulations.
Yes, online payment transactions are controlled by third party processors. They are taking care of converting bitcoin within the price quoted and used on the site at the time of transaction. Merchants will be having very big relief from fluctuating bitcoin prices with this way of having bitcoin payment processing.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: October 04, 2016, 02:36:52 PM
How does one Put down Gambling for good?
If you want to quit gambling for good then your really need to find something else to do because if not you are just going to keep thinking about gambling.
You need to get your mind away from gambling and a other hobby might help you with that.
Yes, quitting gambling must be approached in psychological way rather than how we will be dealing with simple hobbies. Because, quitting gambling after addiction is very difficult but still possible by having proper approaches.

Deviating our mind from gambling into other highly entertaining resources will give very good results over time. Yes, we should not expect quitting gambling to happen within a day.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: October 03, 2016, 08:17:23 PM
I think there is no way to ban Bitcoin, it's decentralized currency and anonymous, and people could keep using it even if governments tried to ban it.
Yes, to use bitcoin we never need any permissions from anyone and the only needed thing is having internet connection. But using bitcoin even after ban is only possible as long as you will never need to convert your bitcoin into fiats and fiats to bitcoins. Saving bitcoin will not have any impact with any ban. But, spending bitcoin domestically may find difficult times.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: October 03, 2016, 07:42:41 PM
According to forecasts in the near future we will see an active and stable growth cryptocurrency. So I think that bitcoin has not yet revealed all its might.

forecasts are all a bunch of crap and i don't care if they are saying a positive thing or a negative thing about bitcoin.

i have my own opinion and stick to it.

according to me bitcoin has a lot of potential and it will grow and i have eyes myself and see the market grow day by day and also grow in size.
But you need to bother about news and events to have bright future with the bitcoins. But you may continue ignoring them when you are having very long plans of holding your bitcoins, with your long haul plans you will definitely get more brighter futures assured by the demands of bitcoins. Because, demand for bitcoin will keep on rising so having proper plan will never disappoint you.
1299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 03, 2016, 07:19:23 PM
Hard decision bank or bitcoin wallet, I am not sure in both and do not trust. Both have it's pluses and minuses. I prefer to hold a cash at my home. But again in this case there is a risk that someone steal it, but for now everything is ok, so I keep going that way.
Not believing into either one of bitcoin or bank account is more dangerous than having at least any one of them.

Choosing one among these two is highly dependent on your geographic location. But regardless of adoption rate in your country, you can simply choose bitcoin for your better and secured future compared to bank system.

You may not ready to accept my words but in time you will come to know about the advantages of bitcoins so that you will adopt bitcoin very soon.
1300  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: October 03, 2016, 07:08:12 PM
only lost trading can say bitcoin is dead
not only one people say bitcoin dead
bitcoin still number oner cryptco coin, if bitcoin dead all coin altcoin and wolrd cryptco coin is dead too
because until now not yet replace and take over position bitcoin
With trading no one lose, every trader is much happy with bitcoin and they want to secure this technology much more and want to strengthened it much more so that they will get their profit for longer time. Compared to any other trading, bitcoin trading is definite profitable once a trader decided to hold for long a period, he would definitely end up in booking profits which not possible with other types of trading.
