1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: June 18, 2016, 09:48:10 PM
In my opinion, by the time bitcoin has the chance to go nativism, it will have seriously devaluated when a better altcoin comes out. There will always be something better.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Faucet is running dry on: June 18, 2016, 09:45:45 PM
Running a faucet just isn't profitable anymore. The market is so saturated and only newbies use faucets. Many of these newbies are kids, thinking they can get rich by making a hundredth of a cent an hour.
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is possible to trade with small amounts? on: June 18, 2016, 09:42:38 PM
You could, but you won't be able to do it as often and as easily as if you had a big wallet. The fees can gobble up more than 50% of your profit!
1464  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: June 18, 2016, 10:59:33 AM
Hey Rassah, I use your mycelium app in tandem with my ledger HW.1. After a bit of use, I've found that I really love the app. My one woe is that with a ledger wallet, it doesn't sync properly.

E.g. I recieve a payment, and I know because I can see it if my ledger wallet, but it's not showing up in my mycelium ledger tab (I get this error very often). I refresh, but it doesn't show the payment. I have to select it in the account tab and reload the whole account. Is this a bug, or is there a reason for this? (Like only refreshing the most recent address)

Thanks,
~ Monnt

1465  Economy / Services / Re: [ANN] Knightdk's escrow service on: June 18, 2016, 04:55:01 AM
Mind my asking but why do you not have any rating or trust at all ?
I do have trust, it's just that none of the people who have left me feedback are on Default Trust so most people don't see those feedback. If you click the link in my trust page to show untrusted feedback, you will see all of those ratings.

I can vouch for KnightDK. I'm a silent follower of his work!  Grin

He's a trustable dev, making alot of helpful bitcoin related scripts.

When I login into Epochtalk, it tells me to reset my password to "complete account migration". When I try to reset my password, I don't recieve any email.

Any help?

1468  Other / Archival / Re: C# - Steam CS:GO Automatic Key Buying/Selling Bot Project on: June 14, 2016, 09:38:52 PM
Project is still for sale! Hit me up if interested Smiley

There are some working ones out there that do as you say. Do you have a live demo?

I have one defining question -
After you deposit, how you buy the keys? Will you have to send a trade offer and the bot will deduct the bitcoin from your balance? This is what all of the 3 bots I have added have. It is inefficient and could probably be from some template.

If your bot can send the user a trade offer for the selected keys after 1 confirmation, I'll be highly interested in this bot. (E.g. you say "!buy 1", it'll give you a custom address and that you will send to, and give a 10 minute period to send the transaction. After 1 confirmation is reached, the bot will send you a trade offer with your keys.)

I'd be happy to take a vouch copy, I can take a look at it.(I have +1 trust, if that counts got anything.)

1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks Hates Bitcoin? on: June 12, 2016, 06:50:22 AM
Banks hate bitcoin because...

*looks at fedcoin*

They don't. They want to downplay it because it is the best, and they are secretly trying desperately to fork it xD
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will the Blog Help you to earn bitcoin on: June 12, 2016, 06:45:08 AM
You could technically earn from a few things.

1. Advertising ads
2. Advertising products for people
3. Advertising your referral link

These all require an audience, so if you can build up a userbase, you can make alot.
1471  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: June 12, 2016, 06:06:01 AM
I've learned everything I know about bitcoin from here. I don't know the total inner workings of the system, but I understand the basic idea of the system. Which is pretty much all you need to know as a bitcoin user.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BurtW arrested (update: charges dropped!) on: June 12, 2016, 06:01:26 AM
Very glad to here the charges were dropped, best of wishes to BurtW!

Same here! Were his assets returned to him after they were taken by homeland? It's horrible to see people of the forum disappear.

1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC now equals $630!!! on: June 12, 2016, 05:56:45 AM
Yeah. The price was hanging there at $580 for almost a week, it's nice to see the price way past that. Hope we don't get stuck at $580... xD
1474  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: June 12, 2016, 04:36:41 AM
Bitcoin isn't something for physical stores. That's why we don't use PayPal to buy coffees. It's not beneficial for an online store. That's why every store I go to, i contact their sorry and ask if they accept bitcoin.
1475  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can i invest my 1btc? on: June 12, 2016, 04:35:09 AM
Unless you are ballsy, keep the funds in bitcoin. You could in fact invest in a gambling site, but to make profit you'll have to invest for multiple months, which also increases your chances of not losing funds.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Grow my Bitcoins. on: June 12, 2016, 04:33:37 AM
0.01 really isn't much. If you really want to make more profit, buy a few bitcoin. This will mean you will make money every time that the price of bitcoin rises.
1477  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: June 12, 2016, 04:31:29 AM
Know what demographic you are targeting. If you can narrow it down to a smaller group, then theoretically your advertisements should be more successful.
1478  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Would you buy a hardware wallet? on: June 12, 2016, 04:22:28 AM
I just found this. I might pick one up. https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products/3-ledger-hw-1
Costs more or less US$16 (15 EUR).

You just found this? I've owned my Ledger Electrum edition for more than a year now, and it's been awesome.
If you want, buy the nano. The HW1 is the exact same, but the physical thing itself feels incomplete, if I may.
1479  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Dr-Exchanger Shop >> Currently Selling BTC (Bulks) For Neteller & Skrill on: June 12, 2016, 02:37:39 AM
I saw your offer of 1:1 preev. I'm highly considering it, but I've just had a very recent episode of a PayPal chargebacks, and how easy it is to do. I know you have done trust and have been here a while, but can you do a bank deposit?

I do bank deposit in any country but for bulks only and below peev rate

Rate is Preev -2%

After you have transfered the bitcoin to :

1Ds7CXv6AUyCCAxhV84kts1bfuJJTT97pL

Drop me a pm with the transaction I.D and you bank details.

Payment will be sent after 1 confirmation

Lol, you are so clever to be catched ! Grin

Is $400 AUD bulk? If so, can you do 2% under preev?
1480  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What's the best api to use for bitcoin payment project on: June 12, 2016, 02:10:35 AM
Bitcoind. If you're gonna be handling a large sum of money, use bitcoind. Most servers will come with 80gb of storage, anyway.

If you're not gonna be handling much money, host a pruning node.
