Seeing Australia's performance against India, I don't think Australia will be able to win a series if a series will be held between Australia and New Zealand. The New Zealand team is stable enough now. They are playing very well. So I think both teams will have equal chances to win the series. Players make a lot of mistakes on the ground. The players of the team who make fewer mistakes, they will win. Because both teams have enough talented players.
If Australia play against New Zealand it might be a complete story altogether. The matches were really close even though India won the series and they still have a good bowling unit and it will be a close series if they play rather than one sided dominance.

India is leading by 403 runs and when they are going to declare as they already have enough runs on the board. Ashwin once again rising to the occasion and he is frustrating the English bowlers with his innings.

I was actually surprised that Burns would actually drop from a jab. Yeah it was a good/stiff jab but still....it's Burns! @7788bitcoin probably got it right about the effect of COVID. Perhaps he shouldn't have rushed it.

Usman vs. Masvidal 2. Make it happen Dana!
I know many friends who are into fitness and unfortunately they were infected and they cannot do anything they did earlier even though they are looking healthy even after months as they are getting tired pretty fast and the poster boy for UFC Khamzat Chimaev of last year is infected and he is finding it difficult to return because of his lung complications and his fight against Leon Edwards is once again cancelled.

Even i would like to see Usman and Masvidal 2 as he fought a short notice fight and i want that happen because there are not many challengers in the division.
1623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits Record $48.2K on: February 14, 2021, 04:23:30 PM
I personally didn't see the price hit that, but yeah, I check coinmarketcap, but the thing is that it didn't hold that long, so we are back to $48k, not bad though, Valentines day new all time high, will take it anytime.
The price touched above $49500 for a brief moment and i was glued to the screen expecting the price of bitcoin will cross the $50k or the first time because it is a historical moment and a valuation i laughed off a few years ago when i used to see speculation about the price reaching $50k, but then there were many sell orders and the price went down which was expected and we might see this range for a while before it crosses the valuation.

Looking for news that might influence the sudden spike, so far I haven't seen any that could influence the market for a sudden spike and record new ATH.
My be the US dollar is showing its stress finally, may be we will have a detailed report in a few hours regarding the spike.

I was not watching this match but all of sudden got my attention here. The situation seems very tense for both teams and its anyone's game from here. A lot depends upon Liton Das as he is the only last recognized batsmen to take Bangladesh home. Also they have home ground pressure also.
Looks like i messed up big time waging a bet. Liton Das lost his wicket and West Indies now need just 3 more wickets to win the match. I thought Bangladesh are a good side while playing in their home ground as they defeated major teams and with a team filled with youngsters West Indies are showing they could battle and the odds for them were over 3.6 and i somehow thought Bangladesh could win it and now i had to cash out with a huge loss  Undecided.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 14, 2021, 08:03:25 AM
Bangladesh's target 231 to win after West Indies are bowled out for 117. It looks like Bangladesh is so desperate to win the match as it's a great comeback after 1st innings but Bangladesh could be difficult. Target on board not looks much, BAN needs another 161 runs to win and 8 wickets in hand.
The odds for Bangladesh winning the match was decent when they started the innings and i was able to put a bet on Bangladesh winning at 1.58 odds and even though they lost a couple of wickets they just need 154 runs to win and there is plenty of time to bat as this is the 4th day.

England is struggling as they lost 6 wickets for 87 runs and it looks a reversal of the first match and batting in this wicket looks like a disaster.

^  Burns had covid last year.  Pretty sure he’s ok now.  And here’s something to think about...  So it looks like Usman had a falling out with his gym Sanford MMA, where he used to train with Burns and other fighters like Vicente Luque.  Now Burns has all these fighters who used to train with Usman telling him what Usman’s weaknesses are.  So it’s gonna be a pretty interesting match up.
Gilbert Burns had a great first round and he did hurt Kamaru Usman but then we could literally see his energy dropping and the second round was a disaster and i do believe that Covid infection has something to do with the way your lungs perform, if not Burns is known to have a great stamina but what impressed me is the jab of Usman and how he improved his striking and then finish the fight with a jab and then finish him in the ground with strikes.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 14, 2021, 05:01:30 AM
England making a mistake here by not using Stuart Broad/Olly Stone. I don't know why Joe Root is bowling now. He is good for short spells of 2-3 overs, but this is not the time for him to come out to bowl. England needs to take quick wickets, if they want to have any chance of winning the match. Any total of more than 350 will be very daunting on this surface. Anyway, right now Rishabh Pant is thrashing the spinners all over the park and we may see 350 very soon.
The pitch is helping the spinners and Joe Root was getting the ball to turn and he even took a wicket and rather than giving the ball to the fast bowlers he wanted to test them. India is all out for 329 runs which is really good as i thought they will score much bigger than that with the way Rohit Sharma was batting.

England lost the first wicket without a score on board, they need to play longer even though the pitch is difficult.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge? XRP? ETH? All Shitcoins. Read this Thread I will make you rich on: February 13, 2021, 07:38:13 PM
So I got rich from crypto buying Link, Aave, and many others CHEAP.
I made x50, x100 and more on some of my investments.
THE ONLY REASON I GOT RICH? I didnt listen to the mass who say you need to buy
expensive coins.
You made the right choices at the right time and you made a good profit, everyone always advice you to invest in coins that are established and it is not unusual and more over you are in a bitcoin forum  Tongue. You cannot trash doge as it gave a huge profit for anyone who invested in it even though it does not make any sense on why the market rallied and that is the case with majority of the coins.

In some wild guessing which are based on pitch conditions and home advantage of India, I guess this 2nd test match may end up in draw. This is the reason I just stayed away from betting for this match. Today Rohit batting was one of the thing I enjoyed even I did not have any open bet with this match.
There is no way the match ends up in a draw when the pitch showed signs of huge turn in the first day and India is known to play spin very well and yet they were not able to counter the England spinners and hope you remember how much runs England was able to score in the second innings. Toss crucial in pitches like these and India is in favorable position even though they lost their top order batsman.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 13, 2021, 03:38:36 PM
Anyone betting on SA today ?
After looking at the target i placed a small bet on South Africa to win the match and it looks like everything is going smoothly and they can win the match easily as they just need 58 runs from 62 balls and still have 8 wickets in hand and if they loose this match then i might completely stop wagging on T20 matches for a while as nothing is going as per my plans Grin.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 13, 2021, 01:27:13 PM
UFC 258 is in the corner and my picks for this fight card is Chris Gutierrez, Philip Rowe, Miranda Maverick, Ricky Simon, Maycee Barber and Belal Muhammad. I wanted to bet on Burns to win the fight but now i am confused because Kamaru Usman is undefeated and he was able to overcome his obstacle and Burns had COVID and whether he is completely cured and whether it will affect his fighting is my doubt.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 13, 2021, 10:43:27 AM
The third umpire for India and England is not good as he gave not out to a clear glove touch by Ajinkya Rahane and i thought that could change the game but England was able to pick his wicket and now the advantage goes to England as India lost 5 wickets for 259 runs and Pant and Ashwin is in the crease, one more wicket here and the tail is exposed. The ball is turning a lot and it will be difficult for England to score easily as India have three spinners and the game depends upon how Joe Root bats.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 13, 2021, 06:01:10 AM
Right now, the main problem for India, Jadeja is out of the match which his hand is broken during the Ausis test match. This is the main drawback for the selection committee, but India already lost their 3rd wicket, whereas Kohli out for none, we don't know how far India will survive in this Test we have to watch closely.
I am surprised that the match is taking place in the same ground and this time India won the toss and elected to bat first and they will look to score runs just like England did in the first match but they already lost their top 3 wickets and i am not happy with the England selection process by resting James Anderson who was instrumental in picking the wickets in the last day. With all the changes i have no idea how this match will go as it will be difficult to bat in the last two days.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2021, 04:50:54 PM
Predictable or unpredictable, betting against Pakistan in T-20 is not wise move unless they are playing against India. They are pretty solid team in T-20 format so i'm not expecting great things from the Proteas. They only had some chance in Test but they lost that too so from now on it should be easy for Pakistan.
I thought about betting for South Africa before the match but then after seeing the team i placed a bet on Pakistan and they played well but in the end it was a close match even though South Africa lost crucial wickets in the end. Even i am not expecting any great performance from South Africa but who knows if someone comes up with extra ordinary performance so that they could get a good price for the upcoming IPL auctions Cheesy.

BCCI will remove Virat Kohli from the post of captain if India fails to qualify for the WTC final. Because they have better options. Rahane has proved his mettle by winning the series against Australia. But I should give Virat Kohli some more time. Although his captaincy has been a bit bad now, still he is a quite successful captain considering the statistics of his entire career.
Virat Kohli is performing as a player and the failure is when none of the players play their part and you cannot expect the captain to win matches. Sure there will be pressure for Kohli as a captain to win the reminder of the series because this is his second consecutive loss leading the team and he will be working hard to change that. Either way it is going to be a really good series and with the way India played the series can go either way and i wont be surprised if England wins the series.
1636  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 12, 2021, 01:31:21 PM
I am hearing these speculation in social media for the past few days after Tesla informed the SEC that they purchased $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin and the speculation started to rise with other companies as well and Apple is one company that is said to invest by all the speculators even though there is no information by any authority figure from the company.

What i really cannot understand is why all these speculation, the price of bitcoin has already rallied to valuation we thought was not possible in the past few months and let it hover around before the next rally  Grin.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 12, 2021, 10:48:52 AM
If you're betting on tennis without the slightest idea of how the game works, you probably won't do a good job because you wouldn't even understand what you're betting on. However, if you have some basic knowledge of the game and teams, is it enough to become good at betting? If you really know the teams and follow what's happening to them (injuries and stuff like that), does it really make you good at betting?
Even if you are big fan of the sport you cannot predict the matches correctly especially in Tennis, right now the Australian open is in full swing and we already saw many upsets including Petra Kvitota and then Stan Wawrinka loosing a match after having a lead and Bianca Andreescu lost the match but she was coming back after an injury so it was not an upset like Kvitota.

Knowing the injury of a player is more important if you are placing a bet.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why was Musk so late to the party? / or Publically support BTC on: February 11, 2021, 07:55:59 PM
He has a lot of other business so maybe bitcoin hasn't got his attention until now and if you are looking at the grandscheme of thing he's not actually that late, bitcoin is not mainstream at all, not everyone know what bitcoin is and the number of merchant that accept bitcoin as a payment method is not much. We don't know how much bitcoin will worth if it goes mainstream. he brings support and attention to crypto so i expect good things ahead.
Do you really think that bitcoin is not mainstream yet, not all stores are accepting bitcoin but as a speculative market the institutional investors are flooding their money and so is the reason the price is around $48,050 when i am posting this.

Elon Musk is a business tycoon but he is in the cryptocurrency market for a long time even though he has not taken it seriously and even claimed that he does hold bitcoin but not sure he remembers where he is holding them back in 2017.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UBER will start to transact with Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2021, 06:27:53 PM
Considering how slowl the bitcoin confirmations could get sometimes, I'm imagining a perfect scenario either to pay before boarding their vehicle, at the transit or immediately after dropping off the taxi. Incorporating bitcoin and crypto payment is a great idea,  though from the two tweets the CEO isn't very certain whether it is happening soon or not.
If you are taking a ride your personal details are with the company and you cannot fool them and if they are accepting bitcoin payments it would be great if you do mandatory KYC so that you do not double spend the transaction and you do not need an instant confirmation and considering the high volatility in price they can charge a higher valuation or the other option is to input a higher fees and make an instant confirmation.
1640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 10, 2021, 11:59:30 PM
Chart or no chart any spike this high always is followed by a dip whether little or big.  Nothing is linear in any market especially bitcoin.  I have been adverse to TA in the past because crypto TA is guesswork to some extent. (At least much more than stonks) but there is definately merit to it i guess to some degree
Speculation is guess work and technical analysis and chart work done is with the help of past performance and most likely scenarios and bitcoin does not have a big chart to study like the stock market. I am also expecting a correction but no idea when.

Majority of the market spiked a lot in the past few months and the spike was exceptionally high than i expected and majority might be in that category especially some coins which i though were shit coins Cry.
