1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 01, 2021, 11:15:59 PM
I see candidates and none of them have a plan to sell Messi. Honestly Messi should stay in Barcelona and retire there, he's a legend. I don't think any chairman would be remembered to sell Messi in history. Any elected chairman would do anything to strengthen the squad. Barcelona need a good striker, I'm sure they miss Suarez so much. 2-3 more players for starting eleven and we can see Barcelona as top team again next season.
For Barcelona fans everyone want to see Messi staying in the club till his retirement but the debt for the club is rising and it was reported last year that the debt is over a billion dollars and with the pandemic their plans on making the revenue has taken a hit as well as they miss the revenues from the stadium and with all these issues i wont be surprised if they trade Messi as they will be having issues paying his salary as well.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 01, 2021, 10:28:05 PM
Yes we may see this happen for the first time since 2005 but lets not forget that Nadal has missed a lot of tournaments last year where as Medvedev played in most of them. I think Medvedev reaching number 2 rank doesn't mean much right now but I see that its something big as no other player has been able to split the big 3 for so many years.
Nadal, Djokovic and Federer are the best players the world has seen and for a long time i thought Murray would perform consistantly as well but injuries sidelined his career and the difference between Nadal, Djokovic and Federer and the rest of the players is the consistency and if we have to think beyond them we need to see someone who could be as consistent as them and i am yet to see players that could do that but there are many promising players.

1543  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 01, 2021, 10:08:40 PM
In a country like India which has a 1.3 billion population, corruption in sports like cricket has risen to extremes. Here almost 20-50 million Indians play cricket where atleast 10-20 million play cricket professionally.
Are you telling that India had 20 million professional cricket players till now or there are 20 million players playing matches and if that the latter is true it is a huge number of players and do you have the infrastructure to allocate these players as county matches will not accumulate millions of players and how many county teams are there in India. My guess is that you have the numbers wrong, i know the population i huge but to have 20 million professional players is a huge number.

Maybe this is the scenario with IPL too. The IPL auctions were almost over and the ground selections were under progress. Matches without audience seems to be worse, and might be the same situation as PSL. In certain regions of India there is rise in the covid-19 cases. So ground selection is much concerned. Watching in TV too boring with the edited claps and cheering of audience.
It do accept that the matches are not that great with fake cheering as they are doing those audio in a loop irrespective of the situation  Grin. The last IPL was conducted successfully without any hiccups and hope they can conduct this one the same way. Not sure how a player in the PSL got positive during a tournament and whether there was a lapse in the environment they created to protect the players.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 01, 2021, 05:46:26 PM
As I mentioned earlier, I am OK with 1 pacer and 3/4 spinners. But I believe that 7788bitcoin wanted to go with an all-spin attack. I don't think that going to a test match without any pacer is a good idea, especially when there are no part-time pace bowlers in the Indian squad. I have seen many occasions when teams in SENA grounds went with an all-pace attack. But even in such occasions, they had at least 2-3 part timers who could bowl occasional spin.
The Indian pace bowlers bowled a total of 11 overs in the third Test match, 19 overs in the second Test matches and the only match India used the fast bowlers was in the first Test match and England won that match and we know how the pitch is going to behave and with that clear why you need to include the fast bowlers if they are not going to bowl.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 01, 2021, 02:23:00 PM
Kuldeep Yadav is a good bowler and he is probably the best wrist spinner India is having right now. He got a very rough deal in the second test match (after being dropped in the first match), when Kohli didn't gave him too many overs. And he was unfairly dropped for the third test match as well. But then Axar came to the squad and picked up close to a dozen wickets in the third match, so I don't know whether Kuldeep will get another chance.
I wont be surprised if India goes into the match with an all out spin attack, Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar along with Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel but i doubt Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar will get any major role in the match as Washington Sundar got just 4 balls to bowl in the last match and he picked one wicket and i thought they should have given these youngsters more chance in spinning tracks to build their confidence.

There was an issue with the site and they published that in the telegram channel about the maintenance as there was a problem with cashing out the bets and they notified everyone as far as i know as i got a pop up window citing the issues they are facing and hopefully they went offline to sort that and now everything is back to normal for me.
I missed the telegram notification and i was worried as i placed some bets and wanted to change my positions and i could not log in which worried me but luckily for the my bets won and i did not need to change anything and after posting my concern i was able to log in but it took half an hour for the situation to be back to normal and now it is working smooth .
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: dogecoin's withdrawal stuck on: March 01, 2021, 11:21:43 AM

Dogecoin already supports RBF and CPFP but most wallet implementations do not support these features. Due to this, the developers reduced the default mempool expiry from 14 days to 24 hours. This change was included in the latest Dogecoin Core version which was released earlier today.
The latest version which is released earlier today had these changes which is good, the developers were not taking things seriously and they need to see a huge rally to make any changes which sucks big time.

This morning I received my new 250eur withdrawal in Bitcoin (this time very fast), from Betnomi. So this thread can be closed.
You can close the thread yourself and good to hear that you finally go the withdrawal after a long wait.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders - May 8 on: March 01, 2021, 08:09:32 AM
OK, this is the fight that we all have been waiting for Canelo, another legit challenger in Billy Joe Saunders. BJS is solid in all area, well rounded, technically sound and I think he will give Canelo one hell of a fight here, more competitive obviously against Avni Yildirim. Canelo himself admitted that Saunders will be a difficult fight for him.

But I will still give the edge to Canelo here, probably by decision.
Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders will be one hell of a fight but i cannot bet against Canelo Alvarez because of the form he is in. His body shots against Yildirim were nasty and he could not go beyond the third round as he had enough and Canelo Alvarez never got punched in the fight and with the way he is fighting it is going to be one of the best fights this year.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: dogecoin's withdrawal stuck on: February 28, 2021, 11:54:45 PM
I wouldn't bet on that... As FinneysTrueVision said above the Dogecoin code is a fork of BTC one, so it is very similar to bitcoin and the mining process has no reason to not be the same, at least in its basic principles. A proof of that : it has released the transaction from the mempool after 2 weeks exactly like Bitcoin would have done...
Doge source code is a fork of bitcoin but there were many updates in bitcoin in the past several years and RBF (Replace By Fee) or CPFP were included recently and if you look at Doge they did not upgraded these in their code and when the price of Doge started rallying the developers said they will be updating everything that they left out in the past few years and we might see those upgrades soon.
1551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss influence in massive dump on: February 28, 2021, 11:37:51 PM
With bitcoin I will never even think of using such functions because the price always swings but I use it for some other coins because I cannot keep a track of all the coins I own and how they are performing so the best way to maintain portfolio and avoid big loss is to place orders at lower than the market value in case the coin drops, we don't lose too much money for that one coin.
If you are planning to book the profit thinking that the market is having a major correction then you might use the stop loss function with bitcoin, if not even i will not use the stop loss function if you are a day trader because the massive swing in price on a daily basis. The options are great for the stock market but you are right it is not a perfect fit in a highly volatile market like bitcoin.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance USDT TRC20 has been changed from 0 to 0.20 USDT on: February 28, 2021, 10:42:57 PM
All these days, it was free or zero cost to withdraw USDT TRC20 but suddenly from today, they have changed it to 0.20 USDT. I don't know if BUSD fee was 0 from the beginning or not but now it has been decreased to 0. The target is to boost the use of BUSD. This is the manipulation of Binance. There’s more to come.
Thank you for the information. It is not a secret that they are using their authority to create their own coins and they have the user base to test anything by providing offers and that gives them the power to manipulate the market as well and we have seen that recently in BNB and now they wanted to popularize their version of the stable coin and this happens if you have a major share of the market.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla Bitcoin purchase on: February 28, 2021, 10:26:51 PM
not all transactions must be informed by the buyer, especially buying at a large price will certainly involve several brokers for the purchase.
for a large company to lie clearly would have an impact on credibility. Stocks on the market will go down because you don't believe it will cause the value of the stock to decline, but you see for yourself Tesla stocks are still the best.
The rally in bitcoin was more than enough evidence that there were huge investments coming into the market and Tesla happened to be one of the companies that invested heavily in the bull run and it is hard to lie about these transactions as you said it involves multiple entities and you cannot hide them from view of the public as well and so is the reason those investment details are public information.
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currently i am quit from market and come in 2024 on: February 28, 2021, 07:50:03 PM
I don't understand how you can leave trading for such a long time. But it seems to me that OP is saying goodbye to cryptocurrency early, because the market will continue to grow. But in any case, no matter what the market is now, every trader has the opportunity to make a profit from trading.
It is evident that he is not a hardcore trader and he always like to play safe and from what i understand he will be waiting for the major correction and then invest in the market and then have the patience to hold until the market rallies next time and there are many that play by these safe trading method and with a high volatile market like bitcoin you cannot blame him either as he is happy with the profit he is making Smiley.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP to hit $589 on February 30th. on: February 28, 2021, 06:12:27 PM
A tweet prediction from Van de Poppe on the price of XRP.
What do you think?
The tweet clearly demonstrates people are that stupid  Cheesy. Even if you did not understand the meaning of this tweet, you need to understand you have the option to change that and make it a comedic thread if not people will think that you are stupid enough to not understand basic things  Tongue.

What do you think about Doge reaching a million dollars on February 30 will be an appropriate title Tongue .

Grin Imagine how much money it will take to push the price up to that point. I'm pretty sure the Ripple Co-Founder will be very happy dumping more of his XRP holdings to all plebs who were brainwashed that it is more decentralized than Bitcoin.
On February 30 i am personally willing to invest a trillion dollars  Grin Cheesy.

Is the site working for anyone else?
Have been trying to access it but everything is just in loading mode and not going any further.
Seems just like when they had a ddos attack several weeks ago when the same thing happened.
Even i was worried as i am not able to login for a while, i am inserting the captcha but after that nothing happens and i was worried something happened to my account as earlier i was not able to cashout some of my bets too. Hopefully the team will sort out the issue ASAP as i have some active bets and wanted to change some positions if not i will loose everything  Undecided.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can / cannot replace the banks ? on: February 28, 2021, 01:43:54 PM
They are of the point of view that since internet cannot replace the newspapers, the same is true with the banks. Being a crypto lover, i would love to see banks eliminated but does these big people with so much money will let that happen  Huh
The fact is that bitcoin is not created to eliminate banks and fiat currency and it is a perception that many have over the years and if you are well aware of the dream you are holding and the implications you will understand. No one in the right sense will be willing to spend money with every transaction domestically but with international transaction bitcoin is a good alternative.

We have seen these kind of threads for years and still many are not aware what they are talking about when they are waiting for the banking sector replaced by bitcoin  Cheesy.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano is causing me stress. Rising AFTER I sold mine! on: February 28, 2021, 01:21:52 PM
Hope you are happy now as the market is on a minor correction phase and if you think you want to take some risk further you can invest in it again  Wink. The market was moving up for weeks and finally we are seeing some kind of weakness and if anyone thinks that the market could rally once again you can invest considering the risk of further correction and i wont invest everything all at once.

1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 28, 2021, 06:37:42 AM
I am not expecting the fight to go the distance but it all depends upon how they approach the fight.
It is hard to predict whether the fight will go the distance or not. Take a look at today's cards, i did not expect the main event to go the distance as i did not expect Ciryl Gane and Jairzinho Rozenstruik will be able to throw for 5 rounds and i expected a finish by Ciryl Gane especially a submission but that did not happen. Jan Błachowicz style does not look flashy but he is powerful and Israel Adesanya has pin point accuracy in his strikes and i wont be surprised if they fight with caution and goes to a decision Grin.

The co main event and main event ended up in a decision Undecided. Was an easy card to predict unlike the past cards.
