Beside onehash and bitcoinrush the best is nitrogensports (as stated by many users already).
342  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: February 22, 2018, 02:37:02 AM
Has anyone played here recently (within the past few days or less than a week) with BTC?  What was your experience like?

Also, does SD have a built-in autobetter?  How are bet speeds?
I totally forgot I had an account at SD, I haven't played there since 2015 LOL.  If someone could still answer my questions though, I'd appreciate it. Smiley

Good for you ... hope you have login details  Cheesy

As of your Q.
I like quick bets and jackpots. There are faster sites and no jackpot at safedice ... so my experience.
Autobet speed is a bit tricky. Generally can see 1 bet/sec but when a loosing streak comes the bet speed increase a lot .. like 5 bets in sec. (I notice similar behaviour over other sites as well).

Shared my experience with $25 hub (comes with 20W adapter so could handle 4 MLD2 at decent clock).
see:
I'm running 3 sticks on digitus 10 port https://www.digitus.info/en/products/computer-accessories-and-components/computer-accessories/usb-hubs/da-70229/   ... running fine at 832 MHz ( 4.7 MHs, HW around 1%)

Hub has room to accomodate 6 sticks but you would need to underclock them as the power supply is only 5V 4A.

Hey guys, I am a bit confused as to what gets these things to tick.
How can you be running 3 clocked up sticks at 5V/4A and others cant get 3 working on those pluggable 12V/5A?

Does it really come down to how the board is laid out behind the scenes with the various regulators, etc?

I am thinking of ordering the Pluggable USB3-HUB7-81X:   5V/5A  w/ 25W Brick.

They are available used at very low cost, and provide 5w additional over the Digitus hub mentioned above.
Should I be able to run 4 sticks on this sucker at stock clocks? Or is it going to dump out like the other pluggable hubs in this thread.

Plugable hub can handle more units (as of the power) but there is limited area around the plugs  ... need to use extension cord if you want more sticks.
IMO 25W will be enough to run 4 units at decent clock around 4Mh. You need to test it, see the HW error rate and adjust accordingly.

Anyone tried that kind of ports:
http://a.co/dzWEFEE

This is just standard USB front, with USB 3.0 cable which goes to motherboard. It will give you only what specification says. Wikipedia says that about USB 3.0 power specs:
Quote
Power and charging

As with earlier versions of USB, USB 3.0 provides power at 5 volts nominal. The available current for low-power (one unit load) SuperSpeed devices is 150 mA, an increase from the 100 mA defined in USB 2.0. For high-power SuperSpeed devices, the limit is six unit loads or 900 mA (4.5 W), almost twice USB 2.0's 500 mA.[10]:section 9.2.5.1 Power Budgeting

USB 3.0 ports may also implement other USB specifications for increased power, including the USB Battery Charging Specification for up to 1.5 A or 7.5 W, or, in the case of USB 3.1, the USB Power Delivery specification for charging the host device up to 100 W.[12]
You will get something similar, not more than that.
I tried 2 Moolanders on my USB 3.0 front from my Fractal R5 case. They can work just fine at 756MHz. I wouldn't try anything above that, I don't want to fry my motherboard Cheesy
Thanks for the infos.

I just want to find a good hub that can run 4 Moonlanders 2 and >100$ ..  not sure if it's possible

Never shutefight have this big evil and hate to a person in life. I peaceful man but should have army to have war to bitmain. Howthis terrible hate enemy of man be alive??!!!?Huh!!!!!!!!!

347  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 TRANSFORMATION HAS BEGUN! CSNO TOKENS ADDED! 🎰🎰🎰 on: January 29, 2018, 10:52:49 PM
I really dought that any exchanger can (or will) give you the dividents if you keep your tokens there.
They probably don't want to do extra work/deal with it. if anyone had kept CSNO on exchanges their dividends will be taken up by exchanges. tokens that distribute dividends are best kept in private ETH wallet/address.

Yes exchanges never credit such transactions to their users. They take it and add to their profit.

Yes, I was not asking for like exchange but bitdice itself because it seems like it would not be hard for the admin to give dividends there too, but I will look into the myetherwallet. Thanks.

Seems you misunderstood how it works.
Bitdice did snapshot of all token holders addresses with the amount. Then send ETH to all those addresses. Exchanges already received the dividends to their hot wallets but it's up to them to decide whether share it among customers. I doubt though, It's additional work. Much easier to keep them.

No, I understood, but many sites that also use their own token will let you store your tokens there and still get dividends so you do not have to keep an ether wallet and keep moving the tokens from the main site to the wallet every payment time. So like because bitdice is the one who owns csno it would be easier if we could keep the tokens in our bitdice wallet and still get dividends on them so we can play with them and not keep moving them around...

Again. Exchanges already received the dividends. Go ask them.

Why do you keep talking about exchanges? https://www.bitdice.me/ is a dice site, not an exchange.

OK, I misunderstood it same as Febo.
You're asking if bitdice accounts with CSNO received the dividends. It's clear now. My fault.

Well, I don't know that (have no tokens there). But assume they did  because as you said it's quite easy for them to track the amounts.

350  Other / Meta / Re: What is the function of the "Merit" score? on: January 29, 2018, 09:03:04 PM
Some people would just ignore this. A good new addition of requirement if user would like to have higher rank. However, as you can see, only a few people would care meriting those who are of low rank. I really think that those who are late joining this forum would have a hard time getting merits, because on the first day of the implementation, only those legendary or hero members who already knew each other on this forum are meriting each other, only few random members (who are not well known on this forum) gets merit from posting that makes sense.

Hope that there would be a little modification on this new system because if some people would try hard to improve their posts because of this new system, it would be a waste of time if their posts are just ignored. This would just be more likely a class room where if you are not known by people you will just be a lone loser, and only those who are famous get attention (merit.)

I agree with you, that this new rule is only concerned with the old users in this btc forum. how about people who just started in this forum. and just got to know about bitcoin forum. how to make a quality post, what you want to do is confused to comment on a thread that is not understood, because new to know about bitcoin. so this is just a barrier for new users to get more rank. and what's in it if it has a lot of merit? whether it can be cashed or something. I guess that's what needs correction. What benefits of merit?

Tell us why do you (or other low rank users) need to rank up? Think I know the reason but still curious.

CoinBase u can buy easy for fian
Use telegram bot btc banker to buy for fiat too

Or use localbitcoints for p2p exchange instantly with fiat too

Alot of ways to change crypto to fiat now .

No, I want fiat for crypto, not crypto for fiat.

Then you should wrote "I want sell crypto for fiat".

localbitcoins is good idea indeed.
Or check my list http://en.bitcoinr.cz/page/buysell.php  (few major exhcanges with actual price)

Thanks that's it what I wanted, I'm sorry that I don't have merits Sad

Don't worry. I'm not here to collect merit. It's just list of few exchanges (I bet you could find some cheaper ones) ....  I'm planing to add more, but you know ... it takes time and I'm working on something else at the moment.

How can Bitcoin be hacked?
How could a malicious entity either hack the Bitcoin network by stealing BTCs or shock it to death, triggering panic and drops in BTC value?

I think some panic could occur if satoshi would start moving his treasure (it's over million coins and if decide to sell it asap the price drop would be significant IMO).

As of the hack, search about "majority attack" (or 51% attack) .. this requires attacker to controll more than 50% of total hashrate. Important to note .. if the attacker controls such hashrate, it means he invested a lot of money and much more likely he will just keep mining ( to get his investment back ) rather than attacking the network and risking it will collapse.

A to fakt neobstojí.

357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Moonlander 2 Driver and Support Thread on: January 29, 2018, 06:27:10 AM
Hello,

I have 5 MLDs mining at about 23MH total, so I am doing fine...  They are setup on a high powered usb hub connected to my laptop.  I setup the BFGminer on my Rasperry Pi (as I want to have that be my permanent solution), but after about 5 or so minutes of the MLDs being connected, the hashrate drops dramatically...  to around 17MH/sec.  Anyone experience anything like this?  It happens very consistently ...  when I connect back to my laptop, works fine for days straight...

thanks

I've experienced also wierd behaviour when moved to PI.
In my case the sticks start hashing at very low rate (like 300 kH each, some even shows 0 from start) .. but it slowly keeps growing and it takes few minutes to get into full hashrate. Never notice such behave when using them in PC ports. I assume the issue could be temps. They are now in cold enviroment, so probably need to get warm up. Other idea it's because it runs over wifi now.
But no big issue as my sticks runs steadily for long time. Just wanted to share.

I've heard that to many sticks set with too low difficulty can cause network issues. Are you running them over wifi?
358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you know if your cold storage wallet is secure when bought on Amazon? on: January 29, 2018, 04:32:06 AM
So I heard that even a cold wallet if bought on Amazon, could be compromised today. So they went on explaining that it's possible somebody has the private keys and sell a "brand" new looking wallet to you and then once you set it up and put your coins/tokens on there one day they could possibly wipe your wallet clean. I wanted to get any educated opinions on the truthfulness of this claim, is that true?

I understand if the wallet comes with the 12-24 word seed with it when you buy it or if it comes with a pin number included, but what if I or anyone who buys a wallet on Amazon get the wallet and creates there own pin and writes down the seed for themselves and the paper has not been written on prior to that, is this scenario safe?

I might be a little paranoid right now that's why I'm asking for educated opinions only. If it makes any difference I own 2 keep key wallets and one Ledger nano s.

Thanks

That's true. Seed must be generated by you. Once the seed is known to others then no pin can protect your funds. Seed is a full backup of that wallet (it overrides the pin protection ... e.g. if you forgot your pin you can use seed to restore the wallet).

Don't buy cold wallet (paper or w/e  wallet it is). Buy Hardware wallet instead.
Hardware wallets generates brand new seed for you (if not satisfied you can reset it and generate again brand new seed ...).

No koukám že máš fakt pěkný návody (věcný, obsáhlý ...

A to ty návody mají cca nějakých půl milionu přečtení...
Merit si nech, nejsem tu abych žebral Cheesy Ale díky Smiley Spíš ti co využívají moje návody by mi aspoň ten Merit mohli dát.

No uvidíme.

Nejlíp legendary člen ať to má váhu.
