Interesting word choice here. "Recommended" seems to indicate that the service won't be run by HJG (at least publicly).  Would these features goodies include being able to actually use the wallet? On Paybase: GAWSOME! GAW employees are such FUDders! Yap, Gaw s been junk since day one. Sorry for you people investing so much in it. You cannot recreate BTC. There s only one BTC. But XPY is faster Makes all of those hundreds of thousands of transactions shuffling millions of Premine and Prime Controller produced Paycoins owned by Josh&Co in and out of different addresses and then sending them to exchanges more efficient. My estimate is that at minimum, 90% of all XPY transactions are these shuffles, and have been since day 1. |

Meanwhile, in Paycoin Paradise:  Amazingly, there are still pretty thick Buy Bids going up on Cryptsy. And it isn't Day Traders for the most part , either. Most of the dump purchases clearly do not get relisted at 5-10% above the dump purchase price to catch the next pump upswing, they are just being held after purchase. Completely nuts. |

Based on some posts over at GH, it looks like the plan is to shut Paybase (May 2) and ZenCloud (~June) down and have the coin completely detached from GAW. I don't see how that proves anything other than a complete and total failure. According to xmk3 on GH forums, "Apologies, I wanted to correct this statement... The announcement was supposed to be 4/2, it will go up this morning instead. The actual shutdown date will be 4/30. (sorry again)" Wonder what will happen with all the forever hashlets and stakers. I suspect Josh will put the money paid for them in his pocket- forever. As the S.S. Scamtanic's boilers are taken offline and she starts to crack in half and people are sliding down the deck into the sea, I am sure "The Band" still playing on HT will dream up some tune to try to convince themselves this is a great thing. Time to dredge up all of those full-on delusional posts about how "It isn't just about Paycoin. Paybase is the real gem of all of this(sic)". |

Hmm if this does happen it will be kinda funny, total proof of failure while the paycoiners will see it as a jet rocket to the moon since it's a stand alone coin.
And, as someone on HT pointed out, if the giant laundry list of fixes is ever done to Paycoin it would basically be just a pure Peercoin clone. Can you imagine how healthy Peercoin would be if the millions of dollars sunk into Paycoin by investors (and promptly pocketed by GAW/Josh) was instead put into Peercoin? It would probably have taken the #2 spot in the Market Cap list from Litecoin and perhaps really be on a jet rocket to the moon. |

Updated GAW staff photo: 3/31/2015:  Looks like northern AZ. My guess is probably on 160 , heading East, right near the Four Corners landmark turnoff (on your left). The higher, darker mesa on the far left in the background looks like Mesa Verde. If the shot were wider, you would see Shiprock on the right. Real pretty up there in Navajo land, but some real crap weather. If it isn't cold and windy it is hot and windy, but generally windy and mostly very desolate and barren. So, yes, a good analogy for the current GAW staff. P.S: Pareidolia at work in that tumbleweed. |
